Sabine I feel that ever since I found Jesus, my life has become a battle against the Devil. He has been working in my husband who is unsaved, my friends ( old ones unsaved) all new ones have turned out to be Christians, my family (all unsaved). Rejection, isolation, slander and terrible acts have come against me non stop. It seems the more I walk with Jesus the more it comes against me. I had no friends for a few years after I had children but I prayed about it and God has sent me wonderful people in my life. Despite this my ex best friend of many years has been trying to destroy all my work connections in my modeling. I am starting the path of learning how to act for the past two years now - she already knows all the casting directors in the city and is trying to sabotage my chances wherever I go. I know when she has influenced others because they are so different with me. She tells people that "I think I am so holy". Its easy for her to do this since all the people we know are either gay and or non Christian. I ask for someone to pray that she will cease trying to destroy me in my line of work and to people. I dont have her ability to win friends and influence people (her favorite book.) which I told her is very evil. I honestly think that something in her hates me and Jesus in me. My Christianity bothered her soooo much. But when she couldnt snare me with deliberate acts of trying to offend me while we were friends, she just one day started avoiding any contact with me. The next time I saw her I was left with a horrible sick feeling in my stomach for days. Then she told me that I have changed and that I am crazy (she was so full of hatred). All of this took place over two years ago and is still affecting my work because she does not stop .Please pray for her that she will come to know Jesus and that any evil working in her will be bound through the name Jesus. Please pray that my husband will come to know Christ and be baptized. The same goes for the rest of my family and in-laws. Pray for me that God will use me for his purpose wherever and whatever I am doing, and that he will turn all my curses into blessings, in Jesus name.

Sonya I am in the middle of probably the most trying time of my life, It is Christmas time which adds to the sadness. Recently I had invited a sister to move in with me until she got back on her feet. Big problem, she was not trying, and I felt taken advantage of at the end. My daughter also moved in with me for a month without asking but I took her in without a word. Yesterday at work my faith was for lack of a better word attacked. I was called to HR for giving out Jesus is the reason for the season buttons, and told I talk about faith all the time. Not true, I only tell about faith when asked. I know the boundaries and rules of my work place. I was and am so hurt. I cried all the way Home driving in a blizzard while praying for guidance from Him. I get home and think things are calm. But I get two phone calls one from my daughter chewing me out about Christmas, I said whoa what a minute this is the first I had heard of what you are talking about. My door is open to your aunt and I have made that clear. The second was from my other sister. Not chewing me out but telling me she was not coming to moms for christmas and neither were her kids. My world is an ultimate mess, I cannot fix this alone. I am also in the middle of a nasty divorce after 23 years of marriage. It looks like i may well be spending the holiday alone. Please pray for me. I feel so weak and heavy laden right now.

Please intervene between my friend and myself and give us wisdom to take this chance, give us courage to start this relationship and grant us discernment in the decisions we make. If this union pleases you, I pray that you remove all obstacles in the way and make it be. For there is nothing impossible with you and unless You build the house, those who build it labour in vain. GB Please pray for my two nephews who have fallen for Satans trickery and one has proclaimed to be a nonbeliever and the other some new age universal God belief. They are good boys who were raised Christian but have let the evils of this world take hold of them. They are both in their early 20s and their mothers are both torn apart by these admissions. Please pray God removes the blinders from their eyes and shows them the truth. This is not an easy case for us (you and my family) as they are very set in these false beliefs. We need lots of round the clock prayer, as relentless as Satan is with them now. Please pray with me brothers and sisters in our flock and thank you so very much for this wonderful and selfless act of Gods service. Amen

Andrea I am a single mother who has been in a relationship with a guy for about 3 years now. Well until recently. Everything was going great we had plans to get married and move in with each other in about 7 months.He already had a house in Alabama and he was painting rooms for my boys. We were deciding what to keep of mine and what to sell. I was applying for jobs out there. We were also supposed to spend the holidays together. We had had our disagreements, but never a huge fight and then out of no where he became withdrawn and angry all the time. Started hiding things like talking to people and what he had been up to that day. At first he was under alot of stress posssibly going to lose his career, but he found out that everything is fine now. Now he says that he just has some issues he has to work out on his own and its not fair to drag me through them, but that he still loves me and my boys and wants to fix this. But I dont know if I should trust him or if there is a reason this is going on and I should move on? It just came on so quickly! This seems like such a small problem considering what is going on with the world today, but this is my life and future and my boys lives and future. I just need help to know what I am supposed to do? Please pray for us. Thankyou!

Lana We are in need of moving into a home and want to buy one. We are on a limited budget, but we need to have my Mother come and live with us. We want it to be the Lords Will and in His time not in ours. We have looked at 2 houses just online and are praying, too. I also have health issues (asthma, COPD, diabetes, obesity, ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease, diverticulitis, menstrual issues, etc.) that have kept me from working since 1998 and I have been on SSD since. There are so many people in more desperate need of prayer than I/us so it seems odd to be asking for prayer over a THING. My health is at stake due to a possible surgery to remove or resection the bowel and being overweight. I am in the process of dieting and have lost 15 lbs. but I have lost some momentum and need prayer for this as well. Thank you in advance! Oh, how HE LOVES you and me!

Patricia My name is Patricia Stoddard, I live in Spokane WA, and am a member of North Addison Baptist Church. On Nov.26th I had surgery on my neck to have disks C4 and C5 replaced also to fuse disks C6 and C7 . I will be in a neck brace for about eight weeks (Dec.-Jan.) Im asking for prayer that the bones will knit well and that the titanium plate and screws that fuse the disks will take hold. The pain during recovery has been pretty intense too. When healed it would be wonderful if there would finally be some relief of my chronic pain Iissues.

Sue I ask for prayer as tomorrow (12/13) my family will be going to court to see if a trial date will be set or a plea bargain offered for the man charged in my sons death. My 18 year old son died in a car crash Jan 14, 2012. Ever since that day, life has been a struggle with my now incomplete family. The entire ordeal has been a tortuous one and I hope a just plea bargain is offered so we dont have to endure the ugliness of a trial. (As it is, we have been subjected to the under handedness of the defense). So I ask for the gift of prayer that whatever decision is made that the Lord will give us strength to accept it as His will.

Chris Thank you for all your prayers! She has 12 more weeks of chemo, but after her 6 week CT scan the doctors were amazed that she is cancer free!!! Praise our Awesome God! It is amazing to some, but a miracle of God to those who believe!!!!

Joshua Praise be to God! In the last two weeks we have all found employment! My wife was hired at our local gas station....less than 1/8th a mile away and my brother and I were both hired for a call center as at home agents! God is great! Mariece Hey! I want to thank anyone that was praying for my mom. She just got a really neat job as a technical support specialist and technical writer, she has really be enjoying the job and i am so happy that you guys helped me pray for her. Michael Well, I decided that the best thing to do was to step away from that band. But that was a good thing because in the past few days, God has placed a few more band opportunities in my life. One of the them is on a worship team, with an outreach group as well. And another is building my own group of Christian musicians. I feel so blessed! Thank you all for all your prayers! God is great!

I recently joined a band. I dont think the guys are believers. However the one guy is really nice- I can tell that he just wants to play music. The other guy, however, is bossy and tells everybody what to play. Additionally, the house we play in is in serious needing of cleaning- almost to the point of being a health hazard. So my prayer is about what I should do. I want to confront them about the band dynamics and the state of the house. However, I dont want to appear judgmental. I want to approach them from a place of love, in order to make things better. Please pray that God gives me the courage and the right words to approach this situation. Thank you all!

God seems to leave a remnant of His people EVERYWHERE....its just more difficult to find them in some places lol. Rachel Thank you for your prayers. Diana and Ben broke up yesterday. I really think its for the best. I dont want either one of them to stop coming to youth group because of the break-up so please pray that there could be peace between them. Ethan hasnt come to church in a while so I dont know how he is doing, please keep praying for him. And freedom from the fear of ridicule; to speak up and step out in faith. Please also pray for my friends Diana and Ben. Needy Servant Sorry it took so long to update, i went on vacation. Well i didnt test into the advanced class as i had hoped, but God has provided the money for me to take the summer class. i am going to major in American Sign Language and i have an assessment coming up this monday, i am praying to test out of ASL Intermediate 2 and into ASL Advanced 1. i really cant afford to take intermediate one because of cost, and if i must take that then i have to wait to enroll in the program which could cost me a spot in the program and i would need to wait another year to enroll because they only accept in the fall semester. Prayer is much needed and definitely appreciated, im going to need God to take the assessment for me.

I am so glad your prayers have been answered! Keep praying! Keep believing and be determined to never give up on your marriage and family! God will bring you through. His will is for your family to be united. The enemy would like to steal kill and destroy but, The Lord has come to give you LIFE and to the fullest!!! So, you and your wife dont allow the enemy in, pray, read the Word together and both develop your walk with God. A three fold cord (with Jesus in the middle) is not easily broken. I am also praying for my marriage and my husband to come back to the Lord and then back to his family. Please pray with me for I am sure your Faith has increased! God bless you and your family.

The wife and I are ging to be meeting tomorrow night to discuss schedules for our children and time with each of us individually (joint custody). I setup a schedule that should do well for both of our work schedules and with the least amount of impact on the children. I also wanted to talk about the next steps toward what she wants to do. I dont want to throw out there, "when are you going to file?", questions but I want to guage where she is at and what she wants to do. I am so dead to this marriage right now, I really just want to move on. I feel so badly that I feel this way, that this is not the plan God layed out from the beginning. I cant make her try to work it out and I dont want to be hard and calused, but I dont want to be walked on. This is such a grace needed situation. I dont want to say the wrong things and I dont want to be pushing toward divorce either. I am having such a hard time right now, my heart is so heavy. I ask for guidance and words from the Holy Spirit, I need to be everything the Lord needs me to be and I barely have a grasp on that for tomorrow night. Just need a little bit of everything, grace, words, healing, boldness, wisdom, strength, love. Thank you all who have been following me, it has and continues to be a rough road.

We need prayers for jobs and finances to open up. My husband has been working so hard here and we had a situation with his work and they are taking some of his paychecks. He is working so hard and then coming home to pack and get online to find jobs. It has been stressful on all of us but especially him. We know that this is God and He will provide I am just asking that you pray and believe with us and pray for everything to open up and to give us peace.

Sarah32 Georgia is an awesome place to live.:) I lived there for the majority of my life, and will probably forever consider the peach state as home. Im so sorry youre having difficulties with the moving process though. That stinks.:-/ My prayer for you----Lord, I thank you for the words You still speak to us today. I pray that WOG and her family will still be sensitive to Your voice as you show them where to go next. You promise that if we acknowledge you in every aspect of our lives, You will direct our paths. That is a promise. Lord, I am claiming that promise over WOGs life and her family. I pray that if Georgia is really where they need to be, that you will knock down all of the hurdles standing in their way. I pray that You, my good Lord, would provide the right jobs and financial provisions for this family. My former co-worker asked for prayers for her step father: Steve Currence whos in need of a "liver transplant"! He doesnt have insurance which means hes not applicable for a transplant. He still refuses counseling and suggested I return back to counseling because he feels I need it more than he does since Im the one who wants the divorce. All Im asking from you my brothers and sisters is to pray for me! I have no job (Graduated as a phlebotomist last yr ) cuz everyone wants experience!! Were going to continue living in our house til we can actually sell it. All Ive been doing is crying and praying! I dont want to end up having a nervous breakdown. Sheri Well, there are times when she is on the right track then there are others when I can still see the grip that darkness has on her life. We are still struggling with her and would appreciate the continued prayer for her. I know 14 is a difficult age and she just seems to grow more and more negative by the day. michael You are coming at this the wrong way. You pray and expect everything to be perfect. Do you think that God is teaching you something by putting you through struggle or do you think he is going to give everything to you on dinner platter. Come on man, I know I should encourage you but you need to stop expected God to do everything for you. Pick up your cross, your sacrifises and he will meet you.

Rachel Spoon Please dont give up Anthony! It may seem like its getting worse, but maybe youre looking in the wrong direction. I had some really rough times before, and I wanted God to solve things my way. I wouldnt let him solve it His way, and that made things get worse. God would never just leave you stranded there. He will work in His timing and in His way. Just try to keep faith that He knows what Hes doing. Please, please dont give up. I;m still praying for you every night.

Alex Courtney is back safe and sound in my arms. Thank you all for your prayers for her. She is greatly appreciative for those prayers and she managed to have a half way decent time except for the food and sleep. Yesterday, I took my wife to jail for a sentence she obtained from a mistake she made months ago. The loneliness is eating me alive. I am trying to give it all to God and I have in a way but the human part of me wants to just lay in bed and wither away. Please pray for her safety, she wont be gone long she has four more days. And every day after the next get slower and slower. It seems like a lifetime. I need God to move for us both. For her safety and for my sanity. Now I know how God must have felt when he decided to make man. Loneliness is so silent and cold. Its amazing to think there was even a time when God was lonely himself. He made man in His image, I guess I answered my own question just now when I started to ask how are we supposed to deal with it if He created man and we cant create anything.. But I felt something with me and as soon as I felt it I thought, we are supposed to lean on Him because He is always with us. It makes me feel some better but it is gonna take a lot of prayer and for God to move for this horrible feeling to pass. Thank you all for praying for me and PLEASE continue to pray for my Courtney

Sarah32 Praying Alex.<3 Know that it is in these desperate times that we truly grow close to God. I could write out my own examples here, but, well, it would fill the page! In some ways, God loves when you have a moment of crisis- it gives us a chance to really throw our hands up in the air and say, "You know God, I cannot do this myself. Im too desperate! You are the One who is going to have to do the fighting through me." Guess what? He will. You do not have to rely on yourself to make it through, Alex. God wants to work THROUGH you and give you His own fighting spirit and His own character qualities. Remember- apart from Him, you can do NOTHING. (John 15:5) Also to what you said- God was never alone, even without man. He never needed us for companionship, He WANTED us! (I think that makes it all the better.:) He always had fellowship with well, as strange as it sounds, Himself! The Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit has always been united with one another in a harmonious relationship. Remember Alex, if God has that relational spirit intrinsically, He wants it for you too--to be in unity with Him. :):) Praying for Courtney too, as you know.<3
