Sabine I feel that ever since I found Jesus, my life has become a battle against the Devil. He has been working in my husband who is unsaved, my friends ( old ones unsaved) all new ones have turned out to be Christians, my family (all unsaved). Rejection, isolation, slander and terrible acts have come against me non stop. It seems the more I walk with Jesus the more it comes against me. I had no friends for a few years after I had children but I prayed about it and God has sent me wonderful people in my life. Despite this my ex best friend of many years has been trying to destroy all my work connections in my modeling. I am starting the path of learning how to act for the past two years now - she already knows all the casting directors in the city and is trying to sabotage my chances wherever I go. I know when she has influenced others because they are so different with me. She tells people that "I think I am so holy". Its easy for her to do this since all the people we know are either gay and or non Christian. I ask for someone to pray that she will cease trying to destroy me in my line of work and to people. I dont have her ability to win friends and influence people (her favorite book.) which I told her is very evil. I honestly think that something in her hates me and Jesus in me. My Christianity bothered her soooo much. But when she couldnt snare me with deliberate acts of trying to offend me while we were friends, she just one day started avoiding any contact with me. The next time I saw her I was left with a horrible sick feeling in my stomach for days. Then she told me that I have changed and that I am crazy (she was so full of hatred). All of this took place over two years ago and is still affecting my work because she does not stop .Please pray for her that she will come to know Jesus and that any evil working in her will be bound through the name Jesus. Please pray that my husband will come to know Christ and be baptized. The same goes for the rest of my family and in-laws. Pray for me that God will use me for his purpose wherever and whatever I am doing, and that he will turn all my curses into blessings, in Jesus name.

Sonya I am in the middle of probably the most trying time of my life, It is Christmas time which adds to the sadness. Recently I had invited a sister to move in with me until she got back on her feet. Big problem, she was not trying, and I felt taken advantage of at the end. My daughter also moved in with me for a month without asking but I took her in without a word. Yesterday at work my faith was for lack of a better word attacked. I was called to HR for giving out Jesus is the reason for the season buttons, and told I talk about faith all the time. Not true, I only tell about faith when asked. I know the boundaries and rules of my work place. I was and am so hurt. I cried all the way Home driving in a blizzard while praying for guidance from Him. I get home and think things are calm. But I get two phone calls one from my daughter chewing me out about Christmas, I said whoa what a minute this is the first I had heard of what you are talking about. My door is open to your aunt and I have made that clear. The second was from my other sister. Not chewing me out but telling me she was not coming to moms for christmas and neither were her kids. My world is an ultimate mess, I cannot fix this alone. I am also in the middle of a nasty divorce after 23 years of marriage. It looks like i may well be spending the holiday alone. Please pray for me. I feel so weak and heavy laden right now.

Naomi Dear God, If what I desire is in alignment to your will and it is what my friend desires as well. Please intervene between my friend and myself and give us wisdom to take this chance, give us courage to start this relationship and grant us discernment in the decisions we make. If this union pleases you, I pray that you remove all obstacles in the way and make it be. For there is nothing impossible with you and unless You build the house, those who build it labour in vain. GB Please pray for my two nephews who have fallen for Satans trickery and one has proclaimed to be a nonbeliever and the other some new age universal God belief. They are good boys who were raised Christian but have let the evils of this world take hold of them. They are both in their early 20s and their mothers are both torn apart by these admissions. Please pray God removes the blinders from their eyes and shows them the truth. This is not an easy case for us (you and my family) as they are very set in these false beliefs. We need lots of round the clock prayer, as relentless as Satan is with them now. Please pray with me brothers and sisters in our flock and thank you so very much for this wonderful and selfless act of Gods service. Amen

Andrea I am a single mother who has been in a relationship with a guy for about 3 years now. Well until recently. Everything was going great we had plans to get married and move in with each other in about 7 months.He already had a house in Alabama and he was painting rooms for my boys. We were deciding what to keep of mine and what to sell. I was applying for jobs out there. We were also supposed to spend the holidays together. We had had our disagreements, but never a huge fight and then out of no where he became withdrawn and angry all the time. Started hiding things like talking to people and what he had been up to that day. At first he was under alot of stress posssibly going to lose his career, but he found out that everything is fine now. Now he says that he just has some issues he has to work out on his own and its not fair to drag me through them, but that he still loves me and my boys and wants to fix this. But I dont know if I should trust him or if there is a reason this is going on and I should move on? It just came on so quickly! This seems like such a small problem considering what is going on with the world today, but this is my life and future and my boys lives and future. I just need help to know what I am supposed to do? Please pray for us. Thankyou!

Lana We are in need of moving into a home and want to buy one. We are on a limited budget, but we need to have my Mother come and live with us. We want it to be the Lords Will and in His time not in ours. We have looked at 2 houses just online and are praying, too. I also have health issues (asthma, COPD, diabetes, obesity, ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease, diverticulitis, menstrual issues, etc.) that have kept me from working since 1998 and I have been on SSD since. There are so many people in more desperate need of prayer than I/us so it seems odd to be asking for prayer over a THING. My health is at stake due to a possible surgery to remove or resection the bowel and being overweight. I am in the process of dieting and have lost 15 lbs. but I have lost some momentum and need prayer for this as well. Thank you in advance! Oh, how HE LOVES you and me!

Patricia My name is Patricia Stoddard, I live in Spokane WA, and am a member of North Addison Baptist Church. On Nov.26th I had surgery on my neck to have disks C4 and C5 replaced also to fuse disks C6 and C7 . I will be in a neck brace for about eight weeks (Dec.-Jan.) Im asking for prayer that the bones will knit well and that the titanium plate and screws that fuse the disks will take hold. The pain during recovery has been pretty intense too. When healed it would be wonderful if there would finally be some relief of my chronic pain Iissues.

Sue I ask for prayer as tomorrow (12/13) my family will be going to court to see if a trial date will be set or a plea bargain offered for the man charged in my sons death. My 18 year old son died in a car crash Jan 14, 2012. Ever since that day, life has been a struggle with my now incomplete family. The entire ordeal has been a tortuous one and I hope a just plea bargain is offered so we dont have to endure the ugliness of a trial. (As it is, we have been subjected to the under handedness of the defense). So I ask for the gift of prayer that whatever decision is made that the Lord will give us strength to accept it as His will.

My sister Veronica. She got caught up in a scam a while back and its affecting her finances to this very day. It feels as though the walls are closing in on her as the bills keep coming in and the mortgage still needing to be paid with little money to pay for them. She is trying to sell her house now which will remove the debt. My heart aches every time I hear how she feels about the situation, it feels to her like there is no way out. The house has been on the market for nearly a month with no one interested...Please pray that God shines a light to the right buyer and that it is sold for the right price! I cant stand to see her in this way. Thank you friends! - Australia

He has interviewed for a position close to our home that is all he every hoped for: great hours so he can continue ministry at our church, close to home, able to work from home, great benefits, limited travel, and requiring the skills he possesses. He had his fourth interview last week and still has not heard back. When he called Wednesday, they still had not made a decision. I am soliciting the prayers of this board that he get this job offer. We really need the finances. Thanks be to God that He has kept us to this point, but we are at wits end and starting to fall in debt with the rent, car note, utilities, etc being paid with just my limited income. Any prayers you have for us will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. :)

Doreen Nick i pray that GOD gives you guidence in your life all areas of your life. But keep in mind that the devil knows scripture as well and he will guide you as well and have you believe that this is guidence is comming from GOD I pray that you can detect the diffence of who is really sending you guidence. REMEMBER GOD wont give you guience that will harm you or anymone else most of all GOD himself so use common sence and go with what your heart <3 feels. LORD i pray that the devil does not get hold of Nick and guides him away from you, i pray you help Nick with desicion in his life that are good and come from you and you alone, and i pray this in your name JESUS CHRIST amen -|-

diane I would like to thank you all for praying for these two young people. It really means a lot to me since it is so hard to stay Christ centered (in a relationship) in today`s culture. I believe that God is answering these prayers daily. He knows their worries, and struggles They sometimes struggle with miscommunication but try hard. I thank you so much and hope that you will keep praying for them (F. and J.S). In particular, my daughter sometimes struggles with the situation that her boyfriend is often busy with other occupations (music, concerts which he loves) and she sometimes feels like second priority). I am sure that he doesn`t try to do this..it is just a communication issue. God knows them each one and, with your prayers, will help them. Thank you and blessings to you all

I would like to pray for my daughter and her boyfriend (both christians) that God would continue to bless and nurture their relationship, That he would help them to keep their relationship Christ-centered and that he would plut a protective fence around them of love, honesty, kindness and faithfulness to help keep their relationship strong. I would also pray that God would help them to communicate effectively with one another in love and kindness and always with a desire to hear the other.

Doreen My husband still has not found a job yet but the unemployment has been extendid till december. So i thank GOD for that, but please still keep us in prayer please.

judi God still has not answered my prayer. He is still working on my husband and having him turn his eyes back towards me. My husband knows what he has, but he is afraid of letting go of his control and just allowing our relationship to move forward. My husband is stuck in the past and that is his issue. God is making me currently ask for respect from my husband. Asking for this respect means I cant contact him or go near him and it is very difficult. All I need is for him to quit texting his female friends when I am visiting and he cant seem to do that.

Joel Lord I thank you for the obedient heart that you have given Judi in her trying to restore her marriage. I can only image the struggles she must be facing and I pray that she would not give in to bitterness which can poison the soul. I pray that she would be a light to her husband and an example of what a woman of God should be. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." Lord I pray that Judi would weather this hardship and all the temptations that come with it. I pray that you would reunite her marriage and that you would bring her husband to the light we have in you. I pray that you would heal Judis heart from the wounds that her husband has inflicted on her and I pray that you would be her rock in times of trouble. One of my favorite settings to dwell worship is at True Worship Church in Brooklyn, New York for Midnight Prayer which is scheduled at 12am between friday and saturday, and tonight was such an amazing experience that even over an hour after it was over, the prophet that was there was STILL speaking. The few people that were there were listening to him saying a whole bunch of things INCLUDING (in paraphrase) "When I tell someone Im a Christian, or minister, or praise and worship leader, they can ask "Are you Religous" I just say no. . if they ask "Do you go to church" I say yes. . . they can tell me theres no point in going to church or tell me I shouldnt go to church, I tell them "Do you drive a car? yeah, dont take it to the gas station for the next 3 days" See what they say. Theyll tell me "Oh I have to bring it to the gas station" I ask why? what happens to the car when it doesnt? Itll break DOWN. I go to church, because (in metaphorically speaking) Im not pushing no car" . . . . . As awesome as this word was, that last part is where my prayer request comes in. while the few of us were there, I decided that it would be wise of me to open my mouth and say "Wait a minute, wha? you just said youre not pushing no car, that means youre pushing some car" (in reference to a double negative sentence) I find stuff like that to be confusing, but for me to say that was VERY UNWISE, and Im kinda not over the fact that I said that. after I said that, it was a bit of laughter, then everyone finally left and went home, but I know, and the people there know that me saying that was a huge mistake. PLEASE pray for me that I can get over that, and for the people that they can rather remember the message that they received more than that stupid comment I made. Interceding in your criticisms is of God. a public accusation is of satan.

Needy Servant Sorry it took so long for me to update, but i am always late. i am still struggling, but at least its more of a struggle and less like me giving in. i am reading more, and trying to get right. Maybe that is another reason why i havent updated yet, i feel like i havent improved enough, but i need to learn to not be so hard on myself.Also i have been frequenting this site more and thats good. I spent a few long months away from this website, and I have been hurting. I have been slacking, no, honestly I have not been reading at all for those months. I have been quenching the spirit and giving into temptation. All kinds of stupid stuff has been my "excuse" to sin and shy away from God. I need Him, I want Him back, I want to flee from temptation, I want to kill sin, I want to be real with Him, I want to draw near to Him, but my flesh has been getting stronger and stronger the last few months while my spirit was being malnourished and beaten. I want to truly repent, I want to hate my sin again, I want to love Jesus more than ABSOLUTELY everything again, please pray for me, please. I hate where I am and feel so weak and far behind. I dont have any fellowship, I cant meet with the guys from church much anymore because of work and school, and the few people in my life I have contact with arent christian, or they are just as callous towards God as I have ben lately. Thank you so much, I need this.

My grandfather has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and he has never picked up a cigarette in his life. There is a mass on his lung and it cannot be removed with radiation. He is going to have surgery some time around Christmas and I am afraid he may pass away. My mom is planning on going to see him and be there during the surgery, but I want everything to go smoothly. He is very old and has lived a great life, but I could not bear to have my mom lose her last living parent. I pray that his surgery is a success and that he makes a healthy recovery.

Deborah Nick continues to see his psychiatrist, pediatrician, and school counselor. He participates in theater at school and thats what keeps him active. He still suffers, but his family hasnt given up hope! Thank you all for the prayers!

Courtney I am so sorry about this situation! :( Know that so many prayers are with this family. This boy needs to know that he is loved by so many people, and especially by the Lord.. I used to be suicidal, and its very hard to get over so many things.. But the Lord is the only one who could save me, and He did.. It was a long, hard road, and this is the same for every person who is suicidal.. Keep an eye on him and let him know that he is loved despite his knowledge of a broken heart. God bless you all.

Tasha Shes still touch and go now and again. Theyre probably going to have to do a C-section with the baby to make sure shes born safely. Shes bigger than they thought and my sisters rather tiny. Theyre afraid if they cant get the baby to flip that theyll have to do the C-section because they dont want to do a breach baby, my sister has seizures now and again and theyre taking every possible precaution to make sure she and the baby are safe. Though her gallbladder is now giving her problems, they may have to take that out as well. Praying for healing over her and protection of my soon to be niece.

Shes lost 3 children before they were born this is her third time being pregnant[shes lost a set of twins[boy and girl i believe] and another child[i dont remember the gender] ] Shes a HIGH risk pregnancy and went into early labor Thursday night. They were able to stop it but shes on bed rest until the baby arrives. This is extremely hard for her to do since shes so used to doing something all the time. Shes not saved, which really saddens me, and I wish that God would bring someone into her life that would show her the amazing love of God. Ive tried but she rejects any attempt I make. Doreen I pray that this youg man returns to GOD where he belongs, the devil is going to turn the heat up per say on this young man telling him that GOD wont take him back cause he left GOD. Jody keep praying for him and dont stop telling him he can turn back to GOD just as he is, GOD isnt just interested in the people of wealth or high standards. Alyssa Faith Mark. Rep Went to the doctor and she told me that its just allergies. I also got a prescription for a nasal spray that is supposed to help my congestion and sinus pressure, to help relieve inflammation. She told me Ill probably have to keep taking allergy medicine through the whole allergy season which means through winter and spring. Lets be praying that this medication helps and makes me feel better. But I do have to say everyday Im feeling a little better. I feel better than I did 2 or 3 days ago. So keep on praying that this medication helps me.
