Fartina I am a mother of one child who has lost her job in October and is about to be put out of my place and be homeless. I need a miracle and a place to go. None of the shelters seem to be accepting and I have no idea what to do. I have been hired at a job but have not started yet. Please stand in agreement with me that me and my daughter will have secure housing and will not be on the street. Please. Thanks.

With Love On Your Arms I am really worried about some things in life and being a teen. Im 16 and I dont have a drivers license yet or even have my slip/permit. I dont have a job yet also and my grades werent so good. I have someone in my family who tells me that I need to get my license and a job because I am making people have a hard time. Im worried that I will be stuck in home and not have freedom. I know I should be grateful for many things but there are times when I really dont like being here.

tiffani I recently returned from a missions trip abroad and all seemed well during my time away i.e., i was stress free, i sensed the presence of God everywhere, i felt a sense of community love with others. Since my return, i have been a little overwhelmed with work, school and a friendship relationship which i believe will lead to marriage but lately...ive been doubting. I have known my guy friend for almost a year and a half and due to distance, ministry, grad school and our busy work schedules we arent able to communicate as much as wed like. Please pray that i receive wisdom, patience and guidance as i work through my grad program, search for a new job and wait on marriage.

Sandy My husband of 22 years has left us on our sons 17 th bday for another woman he has started the divorce process 2nd court date is the 17th of January . He does not talk OT text our children they r ages 20, 17, and14 he shows up at my son basketball game to " look good" but he does not try to talk to him or text himHe works as a principal at a behavior program asNd has hired all 5 women he has had an affair with . The kids know because HE TOLD THEM HE DID THE AFFAIRS the co workers will not say anything because they say Egan will fire them - some are claimed to be Christians and they just watch my husband destroy 6 families . The board will not listen to me because I am his wife and he states I am just mad at him they will not invest age the claim . Vanessa My husband and I are hoping and praying for Christian friends. There are times when I feel a terrible jealousy rise up in me toward the friendships my brother and sis-in-law have, though I dont think they are always good friendships. My husband is lonely for a Christian man to grow with in Christ, to learn from/with, and just to have a good friend other than myself. What I ask above all is that any who are willing to pray for us, will ask our perfect Creator to make us worthy of having friends. Secondly, please ask Him to work His perfect will in our lives, in spite of our fallen-ness. (sp?) Third, if/when the Creator sees fit, that He would put us in the path of Christians he wants us to build relationships with, and that He will make it clear to us what He wants, as we can be so blind to Him sometimes. :-P Thanks in advance...Im glad to have found this little community where we can hold each other up :-)

Sabine Vanessa, if you are focused on any desire in your life other than serving God that is not Gods will. You are making your desire for Christian friendships your number one. Tying to fulfill the desires of your own heart to gain something - even something like friendship, is not Gods will. That is why you are feeling jealousy. You are allowing your desires blind you to what God has already blessed you with. Dont waste your talent, get out there help people without doing it to help yourself. Friendship is a by product of people doing good and helping each other regularly. Reach out to those that dont fit your profile of a good friend or based on the criteria of being christian. Rather look for people you can be a good friend to, that maybe really need a friend more than you. I pray you and your husband become servants of God rather than self servants. Look at your life and say where is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We must all do this. Then if we discover there is not much there we must change our focus back to God and his will in our lives. When he is there he works through us to make other peoples lives better. In turn we become happier or might even make a friend because it was created by Gods will at work.

Sabine I feel that ever since I found Jesus, my life has become a battle against the Devil. He has been working in my husband who is unsaved, my friends ( old ones unsaved) all new ones have turned out to be Christians, my family (all unsaved). Rejection, isolation, slander and terrible acts have come against me non stop. It seems the more I walk with Jesus the more it comes against me. I had no friends for a few years after I had children but I prayed about it and God has sent me wonderful people in my life. Despite this my ex best friend of many years has been trying to destroy all my work connections in my modeling. I am starting the path of learning how to act for the past two years now - she already knows all the casting directors in the city and is trying to sabotage my chances wherever I go. I know when she has influenced others because they are so different with me. She tells people that "I think I am so holy". Its easy for her to do this since all the people we know are either gay and or non Christian. I ask for someone to pray that she will cease trying to destroy me in my line of work and to people. I dont have her ability to win friends and influence people (her favorite book.) which I told her is very evil. I honestly think that something in her hates me and Jesus in me. My Christianity bothered her soooo much. But when she couldnt snare me with deliberate acts of trying to offend me while we were friends, she just one day started avoiding any contact with me. The next time I saw her I was left with a horrible sick feeling in my stomach for days. Then she told me that I have changed and that I am crazy (she was so full of hatred). All of this took place over two years ago and is still affecting my work because she does not stop .Please pray for her that she will come to know Jesus and that any evil working in her will be bound through the name Jesus. Please pray that my husband will come to know Christ and be baptized. The same goes for the rest of my family and in-laws. Pray for me that God will use me for his purpose wherever and whatever I am doing, and that he will turn all my curses into blessings, in Jesus name.

Sonya I am in the middle of probably the most trying time of my life, It is Christmas time which adds to the sadness. Recently I had invited a sister to move in with me until she got back on her feet. Big problem, she was not trying, and I felt taken advantage of at the end. My daughter also moved in with me for a month without asking but I took her in without a word. Yesterday at work my faith was for lack of a better word attacked. I was called to HR for giving out Jesus is the reason for the season buttons, and told I talk about faith all the time. Not true, I only tell about faith when asked. I know the boundaries and rules of my work place. I was and am so hurt. I cried all the way Home driving in a blizzard while praying for guidance from Him. I get home and think things are calm. But I get two phone calls one from my daughter chewing me out about Christmas, I said whoa what a minute this is the first I had heard of what you are talking about. My door is open to your aunt and I have made that clear. The second was from my other sister. Not chewing me out but telling me she was not coming to moms for christmas and neither were her kids. My world is an ultimate mess, I cannot fix this alone. I am also in the middle of a nasty divorce after 23 years of marriage. It looks like i may well be spending the holiday alone. Please pray for me. I feel so weak and heavy laden right now.

GB Please pray for my two nephews who have fallen for Satans trickery and one has proclaimed to be a nonbeliever and the other some new age universal God belief. They are good boys who were raised Christian but have let the evils of this world take hold of them. They are both in their early 20s and their mothers are both torn apart by these admissions. Please pray God removes the blinders from their eyes and shows them the truth. This is not an easy case for us (you and my family) as they are very set in these false beliefs. We need lots of round the clock prayer, as relentless as Satan is with them now. Clarinda My prayer was answered far beyond what I had expected. My boyfriends mission was cancelled at the last minute and he is safe. I am extremely relieved and thankful to Jesus for his undeserving favour. Praise Jesus! AMEN

Deborah I found a job thats per diem. Which means, I only work when needed. It helps a little, but not a lot. I trust the Lord knows what hes doing or I wouldnt be where I am right now. Thank you for the prayers!

I will be heading to Costa Rica on a mission trip with my church on August 27th. I need prayer for Gods guidance and provision for me to be able to go with the team. We will be doing childrens ministries, youth outreach, Christian education, outreach and evangelism in the community. As well as building projects, help with church planting and ministering to native Costa Rican people in a small mountain village.

I am having a tough time now, cause in 3 days, I will be writing my University exams (on 6, 7, 8). I am in a big mess. The funny part is, I have studied almost many things. But when I saw all the people around me putting so much effort, studying till 2o clock at night, some waking at 3 in the morning, I feel like "I am not gonna make". My mind is telling me "you have not done any hard work. You dont deserve it. All that you have read, were for your class tests. How will you remember them now, even if you give a revision? Hard work only pays off". I am sure many of you have went through this. Dont have friends to encourage me in Christ and my parents are busy with their work. I have lost every bit of confidence in me, feel like giving up. I trust God. But my mind is saying "He wont help you cause you have not worked hard enough." I know that is a lie from the devil. I really need to overcome it. I was like a mad person today, crying for every 30mins. I developed peptic ulcer because of stress. My stomach almost developed perforations. This was a result of the tormenting thoughts i had in my mind for 3 weeks. I will be having Pathology and Microbiology on 6th, Pharmacology on 7th and Dental materials on 8th. I am in desperate need of your prayers, your comforting and encouraging words in Christ. Your words from experience and through Christ would be a treasure to me. This is the only place where i can find people who pray for others even though they are of different language, race, nation. Please remember me in your prayers. If you can, do send me messages in facebook. Thank you.

jose Yes, the Lord has answered our Prayed, he spoke restoration over my career! In fact, a few weeks after this message was posted, I was sent to the minor leagues. At first it seemed pretty challenging, but "we," my wife and I remained Faithful to our trust and hope in our Lord and Savior, feeding off the support from your prayers, and knowledge of his plans for his saints...we had peace. In 10 games, I hit 7 home runs, and batted .393 and I have since been activated to the big leagues. But more excited than anything, the Lord held my hand every step of the way, to feel his presence everyday...NOTHING can compare to that!!!

I know I am not here just for baseball, but I was sent here from God the Father who has a plan and purpose for me to advance HIS kingdom. Please pray for me and my family. I am currently playing professional baseball in Japan. The Lord has blessed me with my 8th season here, & I thank God everyday for this opportunity. This is really a prayer REQUEST, but is rather a praise. God has been filling my life with so many blessings lately. He gave me TWO jobs for the summer, both of them paid very well for first jobs. He also gave me opportunities to serve in the church as a musician on the adult worship team and as a speaker for the youth group. He brought me so much closer to the girls in my youth group. He brought out negative influences in my life and replaced them with some wonderful ladies I met at Hume. Hes helped me plan for my future in music and has given me a way to pursue my musical goals without having to choose between music and a "proper" major. Hes helped me finalize my decision for where Ill be attending school next year and has helped me connect with Christians in the area. Hes even shown me where I might be attending church while I go to school! Hes started work in our church to set up a college group and Hes brought in new college-age Christians in my life. He has absolutely showered me with so much love and so many blessings, and I am so SO thankful. To Him be ALL the glory and ALL the praise. <3

The problem is, he has made no move to consecration and is in fact straying away from God. Every time we are with the church singing or at the youth groups he looks like a zombie, he doesnt sing or pray or even smile, he just looks miserable, but as soon as we go home, hes just fine. Maree Hi Kansas, you will be fine, God will put you where He needs you to be most, we may not like it sometimes but God will open doors for us and they will be where He needs us most so keep remembering that and keep on loving Him and dont lose your trust in Him, hang on to him tight and He will hang on to you even tighter. Brettney Well He has answered in a different way so far. They have since then moved back to a town closer to us. Back into her parents house. They will be starting school up here. She is looking for work in our town and is sure she will be staying. The kids have not yet gotten into counseling. She said they would be maybe starting in a couple weeks. Pray!. The kids seem to be happier here but they still have alot of woundedness that needs to dealt with. So hopefully (God willing) it will happen sooner than later. ulysses OH Yes im sorry I didnt let you all know and yes He has of course!! She had received the gifts and all is fine just I find out she is not graduating this year because she was but she has to get accepted in 2 last classes to do first so she wont graduate till next year but she still was grateful for it she wanted to send them back but I wanted her to keep and use it anyway because eventually I was gonna give her the gifts anyway but I just hope and pray that it made a difference and will help our friendship grow but I thank God and give him all glory and praise he is always good!!!

I thank everyone who was praying for me to get into college and get scholarships and stuff. I praise God that I was able to get in everywhere I applied (except one). I got scholarships from schools, and it was a lot of scholarship money... but it wasnt quite enough. Ill be staying home and going to community college next semester. I was really angry and upset about it, but Im doing better. It still sting and I still so wish I could be going away, but Im accepting Gods plans for me more and more every day. I ask that you help me pray that Ill be able to keep an open mind and to wait for signs from God to tell me to move. I pray that I wont let this change of plans destroy my relationship with Christ and that I will do the work He has planned for me here at home. I pray that nothing gets in my way (especially not myself) and that I will glorify Him through all I do. I pray that I can transfer to a Christian school next year (if it is Gods will) and that Ill be able to get my classes here at community. So far, Ive gotten into all my classes for Fall sem, but I worry about getting in for Spring. Please please, pray that nothing stands in the way of Gods plans and that I will always LISTEN and ACCEPT His plans for me. Its been tough, but Im still pushing forward.

Rachel Spoon I havent found that one best friend, but I am so SO much closer with the girls in my youth group. We went to Hume Lake last week and we had such a great time. We spent the last night just.. crying and hurting for each other and for the first time in my life, I understand what it really means to have sisters in Christ. I love these girls so much! Rachel Spoon Update: God has been moving in my life. Two of my old friends just decided that theyd cut me out of their lives today... I was pretty upset, but Im okay (or, Im getting to that point). They were not Godly influences anyway, and I have clashed with one because of my faith many times. I am also getting information on college Bible studies, so Ill hopefully be making more Christian friends soon! And Ive been spending a LOT of time with my Christian friends, and were finding lots of things other than church to talk about. Please keep praying for me, but Gods been working! Thanks, God bless.

Rachel Spoon Ive had a couple opportunities to share with the youth group lately. I get pretty nervous about sharing, but the youth group leaders and our youth pastor have been so encouraging. The kids in the youth group are also really encouraging and they generally like my lessons. Of course, I still have to work on presentation, as I get really nervous and my speech gets kinda choppy, but our youth leaders say not to worry that we all have to start somewhere. I still dont know if this is what I am supposed to be doing in the long run, but I know Im definitely going to enjoy work with the youth ministry whether Im a youth pastor or a group leader. TestedAndTried Lord~Give Rachel the guidance she needs to deliver your message whenever and to whomever needs to hear the gospel. It is my belief and Lord forgive me if I am wrong, that your messages come in all directions from all different types of sources so it should not matter that she is a woman. Many years ago, I fostered a girl with problems. She stayed with me for about 3 years. When she left at 16, she got pregnant and purely on the fact that she had been a cutter 3 years earlier, the baby was taken from her by the social services, before she even left hospital, and adopted. 2 years later, when she was 18, she became pregnant again. The social services didnt have as much say this time because she was in a relationship, the grandmother got involved and she kept the baby for 18 months when it all went wrong. I got involved and even built an extension on my house for her and the baby. However, the social services got really heavy and caused problems. I fell out with the girl and she lost this baby to the social services too.I hadnt seen her for many years then found out she had a son and was happy in a relationship. Then horror of horrors, this boy took ill. After pestering the doctors, the mother was told she was being hysterical, and the littel boy was taken into care. After two weeks of worry, the boy died in foster care. His mum had just managed to get to the hospital before he died. She was sad because she didnt even know what he was wearing. He was six years old. I have tried to be there for her and tried to comfort her. She has spent some time in psychiatric care. She gained some comfort from the father who she was still in touch with, though the death had broken them. Then, two weeks ago, he was taken into psychiatric care. He then killed himself in a suicide pact with another man. This is being investigated and so is the death of the boy.The mum, Leanne, asks me why God is angry with her and why is he punishing her. I am frightened for her. I also find it difficult to find words for her.Please pray.

After two weeks of worry, the boy died in foster care. His mum had just managed to get to the hospital before he died. She was sad because she didnt even know what he was wearing. He was six years old. I have tried to be there for her and tried to comfort her. She has spent some time in psychiatric care. She gained some comfort from the father who she was still in touch with, though the death had broken them. Then, two weeks ago, he was taken into psychiatric care. He then killed himself in a suicide pact with another man. This is being investigated and so is the death of the boy.The mum, Leanne, asks me why God is angry with her and why is he punishing her. I am frightened for her. I also find it difficult to find words for her.Please pray.
