Sabine Since we moved into our home about 7 months ago, we have become friends with out neighbors. Their son loves playing with my children and we often look after him when they need help. The wife is east Indian and of Seek religion. But recently the opportunity has come up after all of this time that she is interested in knowing about Christianity. This is because her son who is 5 years old, is displaying a lot of jealousy, disrespect and self destructive behavior. Just recently I heard him saying things like "everyone hates me "and "I want to get hit by a car". She sees how my children behave and want her child to bee the same. I tell her that I raise them up using my teaching from Christ. Please pray for me that God will use me to help them and bring them them all to Christ.

Greg My 14 year old daughter is really starting to question God in light of the Connecticut shooting and a 16 year old boy at her high school took his own life. At first it broke my heart hearing her question God, but I quickly realized through God prompting me, that she is going to make this faith her own. She will no longer believe because dad believes. I just need prayer in helping her seek God out. She feels alone and I am trying everything to be there for her. Thank you, God bless.

With Love On Your Arms I am really worried about some things in life and being a teen. Im 16 and I dont have a drivers license yet or even have my slip/permit. I dont have a job yet also and my grades werent so good. I have someone in my family who tells me that I need to get my license and a job because I am making people have a hard time. Im worried that I will be stuck in home and not have freedom. I know I should be grateful for many things but there are times when I really dont like being here.

tiffani I recently returned from a missions trip abroad and all seemed well during my time away i.e., i was stress free, i sensed the presence of God everywhere, i felt a sense of community love with others. Since my return, i have been a little overwhelmed with work, school and a friendship relationship which i believe will lead to marriage but lately...ive been doubting. I have known my guy friend for almost a year and a half and due to distance, ministry, grad school and our busy work schedules we arent able to communicate as much as wed like. Please pray that i receive wisdom, patience and guidance as i work through my grad program, search for a new job and wait on marriage.

Sandy My husband of 22 years has left us on our sons 17 th bday for another woman he has started the divorce process 2nd court date is the 17th of January . He does not talk OT text our children they r ages 20, 17, and14 he shows up at my son basketball game to " look good" but he does not try to talk to him or text himHe works as a principal at a behavior program asNd has hired all 5 women he has had an affair with . The kids know because HE TOLD THEM HE DID THE AFFAIRS the co workers will not say anything because they say Egan will fire them - some are claimed to be Christians and they just watch my husband destroy 6 families . The board will not listen to me because I am his wife and he states I am just mad at him they will not invest age the claim . Please pray for my childDren and myself my husband was baptized 3 years ago and said he excepted God but 2 years later had another affair now saying he was trying out GodPlease pray for his eyes to be open and God will get a hold of his heart before he losses everything

Vanessa My husband and I are hoping and praying for Christian friends. There are times when I feel a terrible jealousy rise up in me toward the friendships my brother and sis-in-law have, though I dont think they are always good friendships. My husband is lonely for a Christian man to grow with in Christ, to learn from/with, and just to have a good friend other than myself. What I ask above all is that any who are willing to pray for us, will ask our perfect Creator to make us worthy of having friends. Secondly, please ask Him to work His perfect will in our lives, in spite of our fallen-ness. (sp?) Third, if/when the Creator sees fit, that He would put us in the path of Christians he wants us to build relationships with, and that He will make it clear to us what He wants, as we can be so blind to Him sometimes. :-P Thanks in advance...Im glad to have found this little community where we can hold each other up :-)

Sabine Vanessa, if you are focused on any desire in your life other than serving God that is not Gods will. You are making your desire for Christian friendships your number one. Tying to fulfill the desires of your own heart to gain something - even something like friendship, is not Gods will. That is why you are feeling jealousy. You are allowing your desires blind you to what God has already blessed you with. Dont waste your talent, get out there help people without doing it to help yourself. Friendship is a by product of people doing good and helping each other regularly. Reach out to those that dont fit your profile of a good friend or based on the criteria of being christian. Rather look for people you can be a good friend to, that maybe really need a friend more than you. I pray you and your husband become servants of God rather than self servants. Look at your life and say where is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We must all do this. Then if we discover there is not much there we must change our focus back to God and his will in our lives. When he is there he works through us to make other peoples lives better. In turn we become happier or might even make a friend because it was created by Gods will at work.

Please help me in my school and show me what my calling is, whether it is in the medical field to share Your gift of healing and revival or the English field to serve You through literature. Reveal to me what college and classes You want me to take. Let the Holy Spirit help me not only give me a deeper understanding of the Scriptures, but give me the advanced reading comprehension and writing skills. Give me daily reminders that all the things I do is for You and You only. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

KingsKid2 Dear Lord, I know that You do not want anyone to perish. (1 Tim. 2:4) Thank you for Jenns perseverance with prayer. Help her to not give up but to keep believing in Your Word and Your promises. I pray that her family would open their hearts to You. Show them how desperately they need a Saviour. In Jesus Name, AmenJenn, did you ever hear about George Muller? He was the man who had many orphan houses in England in the 1800s. He was a great man of prayer. He prayed for the salvation of 5 people for years before they accepted Christ. In fact, the one man never got saved until Georges funeral! But he was faithful to bring his requests before the Lord. Persistent prayer matters; keep trusting the Lord.

Furthermore, I have been reading Nutrition/Health Articles in class and the unit helped me be aware of Americas growing obesity rate.

Latrice Im grateful that God carried Susan through her surgery and it was successful. She was able to go home a week later and is recovering. God is good! Thank you for all of you who prayed!

ANGELA God is indeed answering my prayer...my faith has been strengthened and i have overcome the habits I had been allowing to overcome me; my husband and i are slowly but surely being brought into right relationship with each other. I am trusting God to continue to work as only He can for a totally new relationship; one that will honor Him always. Keep praying!!! God is faithful to keep His promises and hear our prayers. Lisa The funeral was today, all went well and it was a nice service. Thank you all for praying. The family is doing their best to get along but things are a bit tense at times. God was definitely there today.

shaun My friends biopsy came back inconclusive but that is also good news. That means if there is cancer, it is still precancerous and very easily treatable. She has told me her finances are also improving and she was able to get health insurance starting December 1st. Thank you for all your prayers. God has answered them!

She was diagnosed with early stage cancer and is having this procedure today to diagnose if she has cervical cancer or not. If she does have this disease, I pray she will have the finances to pay for its treatment. She is uninsured and is struggling with all of her finances. Her home is currently in forclosure, struggles for food and gas, and her health insurance which does go into effect on Dec. 1 may exclude this condition as a pre-existing condtion. I pray she may look to God for guidance as He has always provided for her needs in the past.

I pray that God will aid me through my college admissions and my SATs. I also pray that I may have a better relationship with my family. Especially my mother and brother. Alison Well the time has finally come when I am moving out next week! God has definitely been present this semester giving me patience, love and grace for my roommates that was from Him. I know I could not have done it on my own! As this new chapter starts in my life, I hope to stay committed to pray for my roommates who are still very lost. Thanks so much for all your prayers!!!

Hey fam!I am sooooo close to graduating and I am getting so discouraged that I wont. I have less than 2 months to go but I need to make a C or better in the classes for my major in order to graduate and right now I am doing the worst in those. I have missed several classes because I have been dealing with depression. I am doing a lot better but have missed several assignments that I cant make up and Im behind on readings. I really need prayer for strength and a miracle for these grades to come out to be at least a C. Thank you in advance!your sis

Patricia Sadly my prayer was not answered nor have most who answered agreed to pray for my request. It seems that many believe they can speak for God when he has already told me he loves me simply for I am and how I am devoted to helping his undersereved children.
I pray for those who have a more narrow vision of what the word agape means. May you be blessed

Now, because some people live with a fear of things they dont understand, it is illegal for us to marry as two women. And so we wait...Please pray that soon this country will come together peacefully in support of gay marriage.

Patricia Ah Sabine, I wish you were right. Unfortunately I am not trying to choose, not trying to be anyones boss and have no negative pride. I am simply head over heels, sweetly in natural love with this woman and have been for years. You are right I think in one sense - that nothing can be created w/o gods awesome power. Sarah The past few days have been quite an ordeal for me. I still dont know whether what I experienced was a late and very strange period or a three-week miscarriage, but things seem to be settling down and working out.
That being said, while my boyfriend and I have never had sex, weve obviously been way too intimate recently and definitely need God`s strength.

Sarah Wow, I should have updated this long ago! Anyway, thank you all very much for your prayers. I was finally able to let go this past April, after a heart-to-heart talk with both a close friend and my aunt, and I am so thankful that I have been able to move past him. My heart still aches, knowing how desperately he needs the Lord, but I am so thankful that I am out of that relationship and relearning how to love God fully.

judy I want to thank God for my sons quick accident recovery and all my C28 friends who committed to praying for him. He is doing much better now. Next Monday I take him back for his final check-up. Last week the doctor was astonished to see how fast hes recovered. To God be the glory!

my 14 yo son was recently in a bicycle accident and has 3 fractures on his face. he will be undergoing surgery today and I ask that you help me pray for him and his doctors, that god will guide the doctors hands for a successful surgery and for my childs quick recovery. I also ask for prayer for my sons heart, that his faith in God will be restored and strengthened. God bless you and Thank you for your prayers.

Tonya Update:Went to thyroid specialist and they found a growth on the Thyroid gland. We have to follow up in 6 months. If it has not gotten smaller or completely gone they will do a biopsy to rule out cancer. Keep on praying please for both situations!!

Tracie We are still in the process of adoption but we have had a change of heart and will be doing foster to adopt...please pray that if/when we get these children that we can be a good Godly presece in their life. I know it will be very hard if we have to give these child up...so i pray that God will bring us the right children for us. thank you all for praying for us.

Elena Hey guys! Thank you so very much for your prayers. The Lord has been showing me ways to reach out to my extended family. I see him at work in my life and in my familys. The Lord made His will known and we just took that step of faith and followed Him. Pray for my parents and I, that God would reveal His will about whether or not He would like us to stay here or move closer to my sister. I pray that the Lord would reveal His will for me about Bible College. Im positive that He wants me to go and become a missionary in another country. But my finances make it seem so impossible and sometimes I just feel so alone in this. My parents and I just need direction about what to do here, and I need to step out and face my fears and accept change. Elena Thank you for your prayers and sorry for the late update. Kimberly had passed away this past summer. Of course it was hard on her friends and family, but they continued to look to the Lord for comfort. She knew Jesus and so that also gave them peace, she is now with her creator and is suffering no more. Thank you again, God bless :)

Please just pray that I would get out of this state of being lazy. I know its a small thing compared to what a lot of people are going through. But Id really appreciate it! I struggle with depression and I dont know if that is the problem or its just pure laziness, idleness or whatever. All I know is that I should be doing something else instead of staying up late, waking up late, and getting nothing done during the day. Im very health conscious, but lately I just dont care and my flesh has just been very weak in general. It seems that things keep happening, so that I cant make it to church. I know that I can listen online, but I never do! Im not where I want to be at spiritually and I feel like I am missing out at church. I want to get back into volunteer cleaning at my church, but I have to wake up so early! Its that or I dont have enough gas in the car or my dad has doctors appointments (we only have one car), or me just being too tired. I would like to connect with more people my age in my church, but I have terrible social anxiety and I feel like it pushes everyone away. Pray for the Lord to send me someone who will help me break down these walls! Thank you so so much! Blessings.

I have a habit of pushing people away or acting standoffish. Its only because I am uncomfortable being myself around people and I am just awkward and shy... Please just pray that I have not offended anyone today at church. And that they will love me anyway and make me feel welcome again the next time I see them.
