Greg My 14 year old daughter is really starting to question God in light of the Connecticut shooting and a 16 year old boy at her high school took his own life. At first it broke my heart hearing her question God, but I quickly realized through God prompting me, that she is going to make this faith her own. She will no longer believe because dad believes. I just need prayer in helping her seek God out. She feels alone and I am trying everything to be there for her. Thank you, God bless.

None of the shelters seem to be accepting and I have no idea what to do. I have been hired at a job but have not started yet. With Love On Your Arms I am really worried about some things in life and being a teen. Im 16 and I dont have a drivers license yet or even have my slip/permit. I dont have a job yet also and my grades werent so good. I have someone in my family who tells me that I need to get my license and a job because I am making people have a hard time. Im worried that I will be stuck in home and not have freedom. I know I should be grateful for many things but there are times when I really dont like being here.

tiffani I recently returned from a missions trip abroad and all seemed well during my time away i.e., i was stress free, i sensed the presence of God everywhere, i felt a sense of community love with others. Since my return, i have been a little overwhelmed with work, school and a friendship relationship which i believe will lead to marriage but lately...ive been doubting. I have known my guy friend for almost a year and a half and due to distance, ministry, grad school and our busy work schedules we arent able to communicate as much as wed like. Please pray that i receive wisdom, patience and guidance as i work through my grad program, search for a new job and wait on marriage.

Sandy My husband of 22 years has left us on our sons 17 th bday for another woman he has started the divorce process 2nd court date is the 17th of January . He does not talk OT text our children they r ages 20, 17, and14 he shows up at my son basketball game to " look good" but he does not try to talk to him or text himHe works as a principal at a behavior program asNd has hired all 5 women he has had an affair with . The kids know because HE TOLD THEM HE DID THE AFFAIRS the co workers will not say anything because they say Egan will fire them - some are claimed to be Christians and they just watch my husband destroy 6 families . The board will not listen to me because I am his wife and he states I am just mad at him they will not invest age the claim . Vanessa My husband and I are hoping and praying for Christian friends. There are times when I feel a terrible jealousy rise up in me toward the friendships my brother and sis-in-law have, though I dont think they are always good friendships. My husband is lonely for a Christian man to grow with in Christ, to learn from/with, and just to have a good friend other than myself. What I ask above all is that any who are willing to pray for us, will ask our perfect Creator to make us worthy of having friends. Secondly, please ask Him to work His perfect will in our lives, in spite of our fallen-ness. (sp?) Third, if/when the Creator sees fit, that He would put us in the path of Christians he wants us to build relationships with, and that He will make it clear to us what He wants, as we can be so blind to Him sometimes. :-P Thanks in advance...Im glad to have found this little community where we can hold each other up :-)

Sabine Vanessa, if you are focused on any desire in your life other than serving God that is not Gods will. You are making your desire for Christian friendships your number one. Tying to fulfill the desires of your own heart to gain something - even something like friendship, is not Gods will. That is why you are feeling jealousy. You are allowing your desires blind you to what God has already blessed you with. Dont waste your talent, get out there help people without doing it to help yourself. Friendship is a by product of people doing good and helping each other regularly. Reach out to those that dont fit your profile of a good friend or based on the criteria of being christian. Rather look for people you can be a good friend to, that maybe really need a friend more than you. I pray you and your husband become servants of God rather than self servants. Look at your life and say where is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We must all do this. Then if we discover there is not much there we must change our focus back to God and his will in our lives. When he is there he works through us to make other peoples lives better. In turn we become happier or might even make a friend because it was created by Gods will at work.

Sabine I feel that ever since I found Jesus, my life has become a battle against the Devil. He has been working in my husband who is unsaved, my friends ( old ones unsaved) all new ones have turned out to be Christians, my family (all unsaved). Rejection, isolation, slander and terrible acts have come against me non stop. It seems the more I walk with Jesus the more it comes against me. I had no friends for a few years after I had children but I prayed about it and God has sent me wonderful people in my life. Despite this my ex best friend of many years has been trying to destroy all my work connections in my modeling. I am starting the path of learning how to act for the past two years now - she already knows all the casting directors in the city and is trying to sabotage my chances wherever I go. I know when she has influenced others because they are so different with me. She tells people that "I think I am so holy". Its easy for her to do this since all the people we know are either gay and or non Christian. I ask for someone to pray that she will cease trying to destroy me in my line of work and to people. I dont have her ability to win friends and influence people (her favorite book.) which I told her is very evil. I honestly think that something in her hates me and Jesus in me. My Christianity bothered her soooo much. But when she couldnt snare me with deliberate acts of trying to offend me while we were friends, she just one day started avoiding any contact with me. The next time I saw her I was left with a horrible sick feeling in my stomach for days. Then she told me that I have changed and that I am crazy (she was so full of hatred). All of this took place over two years ago and is still affecting my work because she does not stop .Please pray for her that she will come to know Jesus and that any evil working in her will be bound through the name Jesus. Please pray that my husband will come to know Christ and be baptized. The same goes for the rest of my family and in-laws. Pray for me that God will use me for his purpose wherever and whatever I am doing, and that he will turn all my curses into blessings, in Jesus name.

Sonya I am in the middle of probably the most trying time of my life, It is Christmas time which adds to the sadness. Recently I had invited a sister to move in with me until she got back on her feet. Big problem, she was not trying, and I felt taken advantage of at the end. My daughter also moved in with me for a month without asking but I took her in without a word. Yesterday at work my faith was for lack of a better word attacked. I was called to HR for giving out Jesus is the reason for the season buttons, and told I talk about faith all the time. Not true, I only tell about faith when asked. I know the boundaries and rules of my work place. I was and am so hurt. I cried all the way Home driving in a blizzard while praying for guidance from Him. I get home and think things are calm. But I get two phone calls one from my daughter chewing me out about Christmas, I said whoa what a minute this is the first I had heard of what you are talking about. My door is open to your aunt and I have made that clear. The second was from my other sister. Not chewing me out but telling me she was not coming to moms for christmas and neither were her kids. My world is an ultimate mess, I cannot fix this alone. I am also in the middle of a nasty divorce after 23 years of marriage. It looks like i may well be spending the holiday alone. Please pray for me. I feel so weak and heavy laden right now.

They seemed to have the low blood flow to the baby straightened out, but the baby will most likely be a pre-me. phuti HEY EVERYONE!In the precence of God there is fullness of joy.Thanks to everyone that has been a pert of my prayer to seek God and make him part of my live again..i realised that GOD is the best,and i have to be honest with him,not try to hid things from him for he already knows the future and everything that is to happen.I did not have to feel that i am no longer his child because of the wrongs that i had done but should go to him and ask for direction and that he be in the everyday choices that i make,that he leads my path and strengthen me in hardless situations.Today my relationship with God is once again growing and i find his precence amusing.I LOOVE YOU GUYS GOD BLESS

Sarah32 Hey Phuti! I love your desire to be one with God, that is so awesome!! I know we all go through different seasons of our lives- sometimes God tests us by removing all those wonderful "feel good" feelings so that we have a choice to make- to grow closer to Him in spite of those wonderful feelings not being there, or to choose to believe that He simply removed His presence because He just doesnt care. Always know he cares for you dear, more than a mom cares for her babe. Feelings will come and go, but God is forever and ever the same! We can also go through these times when we distance ourselves from God, or bring something in thats unpleasing to Him. Whatever it may be, pray to God, scour the Bible for these examples (ie David in Psalms or Jeremiah). I pray that you will find the reason, Phuti,and I pray that you will enjoy this season of your life with Jesus...no matter how you feel. :)

Angel Thank You for all of your prayers, Pastor Emi currently at the border to enter Ghana, My congregation had spoken to him last night shortly after prayer and he stated that his wife and children had pass the Border and is with her sister to get the money to pay the excort, Pastor Emi is still by the border with the excort and will cross over to Ghana at 4:00pm today. Still no news on his congregation. He was crying thanking us and all of you guys for his prayers saying that your prayers kept them alive, that shortly after Emi and his family left their home the Military or the rebel force blow out there home. He thanks everyone who pray and he also ask to keep his daughter and brother in pray that they are still missing.

I bought 4 christian tees and wore them constantly and soon I started to hear people whispering about how the messages on my shirts effected them. he had no broken bones. Just scratches on his motorcycle. Please keep praying

told me he was sentenced to go to jail for his (L.Autwell) protection!

I need prayers for my father. Well my whole family, but mostly my father now. I am 17 years old in my junior year of high school. My father has bipolar disorder, aka manic depresive. He has manic episodes every now and then. sometimes he has to go to an institution. He is showing signs of going manic again, and at the worst posible tine. He is staring off into space, forgeting things he usualy remembers, becoming obsesed with his religion (in an unhealthy way), and Mom and I practicaly have to force him to eat or drink anything. Those are all the warning signs for him. We have recently aquired a new suv, which is Moms only transportation to dialisys. We live paycheck to paycheck, and that is not enough, we also get government support. If Dad cant work, we have to surrender the car. Without the car, Mom cant get to dialisys. If Mom cant get dialisys then shes dead. Our insurance wont cover transportation. Our family is in no position niether emotionaly nor financialy to go through another manic episode. Please pray for all of us. God bless.

Im not discouraged though, God has been doing things through all this and I just started noticing :D haha, so anyway, Im ready for whatever it is God is going to do in my life now/next... obviously this was not the direction He wanted me to go in! Ernie I think I get what you are trying to do with your music, trying to reach the unsaved through "death metal", but you have to remember Tyler, Jesus Christ overcame death, and life is what Christ is all about. Why not re-name your title in order to represent the Truth of the Gospel, the Good News, why not call it "Life over Death Metal"!?!-or maybe that is in your music already?-just a suggestion, Tyler. Also:Ephesians 5:6-12 ESV Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. .."-amen! I am going on a church retreat with my cousin tomorrow. It lasts 3 days-- Friday to Sunday. We, along with others from the church and surrounding areas, will be staying at participating families houses overnight, doing activities on Saturday, and going to church on Sunday. Robert Things are getting better with Gods help. This week has been hard though and a bit of a set back. A neighbor friend, Steve who was 39, from my old church had been going through a similar problem which I didnt know about. Last Sunday at about this time of the day Steve took his life. He has left a wife, a 3 year old son and 22 month old twin boys. His wife is also expecting. This is very had to take. I pray for his wife and his mum, who had a heart attack on hearing of Steves passing. He was a good man who cared very much for not only his own children but also others. He sponsored 6 children through World Vision.

I have panic attacks at night and during the day after I get flashes of terrible events. Everything feels very dark around me. I have gone to my doctor but Im still filled with dread. Please pray for me as Im burning out. I do trust the Lord and am saved so I dont understand what is happening to me. Im worried this will scare my kids and worry my wife as this is not like me.

Erik Thanks to all who prayed, these past couple days have been better than i expected. my grades in school skyrocketed, and im slowly but surely starting to step outside of my comfort zone and talk to people in my classes and in my church; even though i stuttered alot when i was trying to talk.i also got the chance to drive my dream car the other day! man that was a blast. as for the girl, i still like her and im talking to her a little more, but im not in a rush. i figure you all are right and i should just wait for whoever god brings my way;)

To whoever reads this, i have had a rough life. right now my family is in financial trouble, and my dad is in the navy so he is always gone and when he is here the only memories i have of him are when he argues with my mom. this has been going on since as long as i can remember (4 yrs old). on top of that, i never really had a childhood. the extent of what i did have was throwing a foot ball around for a bit once, every other time i was learning about bills and taxes and doing yard work and just about everything else to help my mom out. because of this i have grown to be an out cast socially. i cant even hold a normal conversation with somebody. not to mention ive only had one girlfriend, and it lasted like 2 days so ive basically been single for all 16 years of my life. where as my only best friend has already found a girl that he wants to spend the rest of his life with. a little upsetting on this end. anyways i used to be an alcoholic, because of that i have lost a few brain cells. everyday for the last 4 weeks now something somewhere has gone wrong in my life and it just keeps piling up and its hard to deal with it alone. i like a girl now but i think that someone else is trying to go out with her, and i doubt she even likes me anyways.i feel as if im on the edge of being insane now and i want it all to stop. i need help but i dont really have anyone to help me. i need jesus to step in big time here before i loose it.

tammy ERIC,i so wish you more smiles.I know what is like to have alife like that.i will be praying for you.it took me till i was 36 to get the man of my dreams and of God s for me.yes it was terrible but i am so beyond happt and all the family toughness you will get thru,just lean on God and he will get you to the best place in your life.trust me my family was so bad buit now that we are all older it is working out fine.i aslo was given a very Godly family with my husband.keep trusting and it will get better

michael These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: .......they will be able to place their hands on the sick and they will be healed. Mark 16:17-18. Caitlin this is an oppurtunity for you to put your faith to action. This is real, use your faith. The Holy Spirit produces faithfulness in our lives. I will pray for a healing and that through this healing God will reveal this persons purpose to them and that they will carry out what God has laid out for them.

He had a couple of inappropriate "friendships" with other women that have hurt me deeply (one of whom he still works with), and as a result, our marriage has suffered tremendous damage. He has a volatile temper and refuses to go to counseling, so we really need Gods divine intervention. Please pray that Steve will turn his life to Jesus, and that the Lord will heal our marriage, help us recover from the wounds weve suffered and help us return to a place of commitment and love toward each other. Christian God is certainly in the process of answering my prayers, and I would appreciate continued prayer for personal calling, ministry, and purpose along with the salvation of my family. I know now in part what He has told me He will do! It involves transformation in an unusual and purpose fulfilling way, and to use me and my family as an example to the whole body of Christ that He can turn around a seemingly hopeless situation and make it into a story for is glory. He wants us to believe Him for greater things than we have previously. Dont limit or confine Him! So many have endured terrible losses, and the enemy is relentless. Even in the current state of the USA, I believe God is going to revive and restore one more time, and that He desires that this generation is given to Christ, I am talking the whole generation and whole families. We are in the end times, but God desires that this last generation sound the shofar, go out with a bang! He wants none given into the hands of the Antichrist, and all men and women to repent and be saved. We can believe Him for great things, brothers and sisters. It aint over until God says so, and Hes still pouring out his grace and love in lavish amounts, signs and wonder, before the end of the age, as it says He will in the book of Joel, so it shall be! Keep believing in Jesus triumph at the cross qualifies us to receive Christs unsurpassed riches and full weight of His glory. Amen. Will notify you guys of pending breakthrough, but I believe God has already done it, and it will surely manifest in the physical realm according to is timing be blessed all of you, and thank you for praying! Kelley Well, Mom is getting a little better. Its still hard for all of us though. Wendy The court date has now passed, he was given 18m unsupervised probation before judgement. He reads his Bible everyday and is still attending all of his meetings. We pray together daily. I do believe that my Husband has been born again. I am committed to keeping Christ first in our lives. Thanks for all of the prayers. God Bless you.

He has being seeing a Christian Psychologist as well as attends 2 Celebrate Recovery meetings and 2 SA meetings weekly for the past 2 months. He said he never really let Christ into his life and has been trying to beat his abandonment and abuse from his Parents all by himself. I can see that he is forming a realtionship with Christ and I believe he truly wants to turn his life around. Could you please pray for his new relationship with the Lord and for renewal in our marriage. He has a court date on February 24th, could you please keep our family in your prayers. I know it must hurt her and make her sad but Lord let her know you are working in this. Love and bless her for her prayers and for caring. Most parents today dont care but she does. I love my friend to death but something happened the other day and i was only trying to express my feelings towards the situation, Needless to say their defenses went up and now it looks like they arent talking to me. According to them I was being not entirely fair. I dont know what to do to fix this. I see them every week at church.
