Jonathan Well, for more than 11 years, Ive known this lady and in Decemeber, we finally started to elevate our friendship to beyond that. During this transition, Ive asked friends to pray for me that God would help me be ready for it and to give me the wisdom and guidance to hold it down, because I know what its like me to mess things up due to my comfort in my confidence of not worrying about things falling apart. Lately, Ive sensed some lack of interest since this has been going a little lightly.. some examples could be her acting all germaphobe when I kiss her on the cheek or put my arm around her... and let me stop in the middle of this to just point out that in Brooklyn, most Christians in relationships are usually NOT the most conservative in case thats what some reading may be thinking first hand before they can even understand my point.... Other recent examples were me texting her I love you which we usually tell each other, and she replied with Ditto... I replied back with OK Demi lol as an indication from the Movie Ghost where that phrase was made famous which Im not even sure she saw it... Most recently, I told her I love you over the phone, and she said OK though she was very tired at the time, and on our last phone convo I told her I missed her and she told me I saw her The Other Day.... Today is Wednsday... The other day she is talking about is last week Thursday. Please understand that this relationship is a huge transition for me and I dont want to mess this up, so please pray for wisdom and guidance throughout this, and if I may be concerned over NOTHING, which I would LOVE to find out, then please pray that God would confirm that to me if so, because Im a bit afraid. Even as I trust in the Lord, I can still be afraid because he may have will that I dont understand and that has happened to me more than once before. So please keep me in prayer regarding this. God bless yous all, and stay safe this Valentines Day...

Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

Zoe Ann My husband moved out of our house last April....long, painful story. Two months ago he admitted to a forty year addiction to pornography. I am numb, angry, poured out. 6 kids. Homeschooling. In ministry with evangelism, outreach, prayer. I am in constant pain with headaches, tinnitus, fatigue. My mother died in front of my eyes of a massive heart attack a few months ago. My best friend, my grandma, died five months prior to that. I am so very done with this life. Jesus somehow keeps my heart beating....please pray for me and my marriage and my kids, and for the testimony of Gods grace. Oh, and please pray for finacial matters. Due to his severe Adult ADD, my husband has lost 3 jobs in 4 years.

Heavenly Father, I would like to pray for my partner who is in a detention centre in Australia. J & J My (29yo) Husband was offered an expensive procedure to insert permanent teeth implants, pro-Bono(free) which is a HUGE blessing; now we have to come up with the funds for the trips down south (6 hour drive, that weve made twice now and will again 2 more times) and the expensive teeth in the next 4-6 months. He is also having two wisdom teeth removed before the implants are done, and because of their location near the nerve there is cause for concern - but we are giving this to God to handle. We are so very thankful to the Dr for offering this procedure and to the Heavenly Father for blessing us with this incredible opportunity! We have signed the release forms for the video interview, photographs and procedure video to be published. My husbands case will be made public to a medical study group (In Sacramento, CA) and online on the Doctors site, filmed and other Doctors will be in the room during the procedure for educational purposes. We are excited; not nervous or worried about the procedure but are focused on saving money to co-labor with God on this blessing. God has been calling my Husband and myself to a mission trip to Rwanda Africa with our church later this year, we want to go but will have to see how the Father has everything planned for us. All prayers are greatly appreciated. We cant wait for this to be done so we can share an incredible testimony of the Fathers grace and love. Thank you for your time! - The Hoovers

Jessica My daughter is a year old and has severe eczema. She is highly allergic to a lot of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, bananas and every time she eats them, her lip starts to swell and she gets itchy everywhere. She is still highly dependent on her soy milk formula, but she doesnt receive the proper nutrients she needs to grow up healthy and strong. Please help me pray that either she grows out of these allergies or we find a medication she can take so she can tolerate eating.

Sara My prayer is for my friend who is now in the state prison for a foolish thing he did while he was young. This crime wasnt violent What so ever. It was for stealing a pair of speakers. And now Hes doing a year in prison just because he was linked with other charges that they cant prove. I know his heart, hes honestly a sweet guy and would do anything for me an for his family an other friends. Hes been my call in the middle of the night on more than one occasion just to hear him say its gonna be okay. I havent gotten a letter back since hes been transferred and I just pray today is the day I get a letter and hopefully some good news. Please pray for his protection while hes in and pray he stays in touch the best he can.

Bradford people told me how the day after getting the teeth pulled is the worst day but this is day 1 of me living life without my wisdom teeth and i feel a whole lot of pain so praise God for that and Im hoping for part 2 of my prayers,which is my face shrinking back to normal size by Sunday

Heidi Aden Update: The Doctors have finally figured out what was causing the weakness in Adens legs! It is something called Guillain-Barre syndrome. They have started treatment and my brother says Adens legs are getting loads better and that he is about 70% of what he use to be. It may take a while but he should make a full recovery. Praise God! Thanks so much for all your prayers

My Brother Jim called me today and informed me that my 12 year old nephew Aden has been in the hospital since Saturday, due to a sudden loss of strength in his legs. The doctors have no idea what is causing this and are doing more testing on him today. Please be praying the find out what the problem is quickly and that he makes a full recovery. My Brother Jim is also a recovering drug addict and has been clean for 3 years but, I worry that if Aden doesnt make a full recovery that it may push Jim back down that slippery slope of addiction. Aden and his sister Heaven are my Brothers reason for living a drug free lifeSo I guess Prayer for all possible outcomes is requested

Bee-Shizzle! Thank you all for your prayers. I turned in part of my community hours that were due on this case. I thought I was gonna have to make two trips, which would take away my hours at work, but turned out I did not have to make that second trip. Thank you all again, God is great!

Its been tough because I have no driving license and it makes it difficult to get from point A to point B. Joshua Thanks to all of you for all of your prayers and thanks to our loving God! After I posted the prayer request, my sons motivation to stop wetting at night increased dramatically. The last few weeks, he has wet maybe every other night or less. This is a wonderful improvement compared to several times every night. Thanks again so much for you prayers! We love you all!

We have seen two dr.s about the issue and they said kids will usually grow out of it by twelve. The prob is we are currently living with my 75yr old grandma and she is a little more old fashioned, I guess, and doesnt believe the dr.s. It is causing problems within the house between her and my wife and I. We have tried many things to help limit his fluid intake before bed, but now the prob is my gma is wanting to go to more extreme mesures of not letting him drink fluids 5 hrs before bed. I think that is a little harsh since I would have a hard time not having anything to drink for that amount of time. I was sitting at my desk, upset over the recent argument, and the Lord put it on my heart to pray for him.....so here I am.Thank you so much,Joshua

Chris My prayer has just been answered. My test has come back negative! One of the hardest/most stressful five days of my life. I have been praying to God and reading the Bible and I see this as a wake up call and Gods way of bringing me back into living a life with Him as the center of my life. Siri My son made it through the surgical procedure without any complications - praise God! Thank you everyone for your prayers! He is in ICU overnight (at OHSU in Portland, Oregon) and will need a follow-up cerebral angiogram in 6 months to see whether or not the problem is "cured." I am still hoping and praying for his salvation....

After undergoing MRIs, a lumbar puncture, and a cerebral angiogram, it was determined that he has a dural arteriovenous fistula in the posterior region of his head. This condition requires a surgical procedure (embolization) under general anesthesia which will occur on the morning of Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Of course, this procedure does not come without risks (e.g., stroke). Also, I pray that the Lord would reveal Himself to Devrin so that he may be saved and become a believer. Thank you.

Im a teenager in a christian family. My mom is due in the beginning of July with her seventh child. At the beginning of the pregnancy, she went in for a routine ultrasound, but it turned out to be anything but routine. The doctors told us that the baby had trisomy 13, a chromosomal abnormality. They said that she would not live more than a few hours after birth, if that much. Other ultrasounds through the months have rendered much the same result, we learned that she has many of the abnormalities common to trisomy 13 babies, including that her kidneys did not appear to be functioning properly, therefore there wasnt enough amniotic fluid and she was breach. The latest two ultrasounds however, show some improvement, the doctor says that the amniotic fluid is up, the babys head is down, and they are confident shell make it to birth, and even think she could very well live several years. Gina I asked c28 to continue praying for me to get a job. I was unemployed since December 2009. Well, I start my new job as an Office Assistant on August 2nd. Im taking a $7 cut in pay but I know my God is faithful and He always provides for me and my family. I do trust in God and I thank Him for all the faithful prayer warriors who have interceded for me! We are a family of 8 and our health insurance was denied, and we need insurance. My empolyer does not offer it because we are a company of less that 40 employees, my wife works part time so she does not qualifiy. The govt issued insurance says we are over qualified. So I need prayer that my wife gets the job she applied for yesterday, so we can get some type of insurance. If not for the whole family then at least for my 6 kids. Derrick God is molding me daily...and if you check out my recent thread "hii this is how im doing!=)" Nd i am soo hyype i no longer stay on the computer that long or even have a desire to stay up late on the computer or tv....but my nights are now spent listening to Gods voice as i lay in my bed talking to him. I need a lot of prayer and help. Honestly it is a miracle the fact that i am typing on this website. I have been struggling with an addiction with pornography. Well i wouldnt say struggling because God has already delievered me i just keep acting stupid and going back please pray that GOd will restore my faith and i will grow closer to him. Nd my computer is really messing up. Because of this porn mess. I no longer have an intrest on going back to those sites...God has healed my heart and i have such a disgust for sin. Kaitlynn J God is healing my jaw. its just a time thing. it takes time to heal just like anything else. i finished my therapy that was laser treatment and now im just wearing my appliances like i should be. and will see how that does.

Darcy A week after I posted this Prayer request, My boyfriend broke up with me over the phone. During that week, that I had posted his prayer request... Cody had wanted me to have sex with him and I told him no. I told him also that because of my past with sexual abuse, I fel like I couldnt say no in that situation anyway and I built up enough courage to actually tell him I didnt want to. He told me that He learned a lot dating me about his self, that he had a great time everytime he spent it with me, he wont forget what we had, but he said I am just not ready for this and I dont even know if I am going to spend the rest of my life with you, I might meet someone else down the road and this would have hurt you a lot more if I did this any later than now. I still want to be your friend. I was crying, and his mom said she needed to use the phone so he had to get off it. He then said that it was his time now to go cry and I said Dont go Please and he said I have to. We dicussed that I should be safe too, so I didnt do anythings stupid like hurt myself or kill myself and at first he didnt want me to go to the hospital or Fourwinds. But I asked him to please let me go. So, he did. We both thought it was a good idea so I went to Saratoga Mental Health that night. I stayed there over night, they took some blood, asked questions, and sent me and my mom home at like 4 in the morning in a Taxi. I cried for 6 days straight after the Break up. I didnt go to School for a couple of days and I didnt eat anythink for like 3 or four of those days. I lost wieght, I hardly could sleep, and I miss him a whole lot. I hate it when you break up and continue to remember the time spent having fun with one another,the time spent just being goofy together and how you felt when he said he loved you or just the fact that he liked you,the times when he made you laugh,gave you butterflies,Kissed you,those times he held you when you cried,the secrets you shared,the many hours you spent talking on the phone,and waking up in his arms. I was hurt, but I am learing to move on. I know he wasnt the right guy for me and that I do deserve so much better than him. Thank you all for all of your prayers, it really helped!

She had told me that, he ruined Prom for her, because he was rude, obnoxiuos, disrespectful and Complaining a lot all night and pretty much dicthed her to go play Pool with two other guys. She also proceeded to tell me that he continued to tell her that he loved her 4 or 5 times well at her house. She had asked him, Well why are you telling me this? Dont you love Darcy(me)? And he said No I dont love her. And so Christina asked him then why do you tell her you love her then if you dont? And he lied to her and told her because I(Darcy) said it first. Cody has been lying to me, flirting with girls right in front of me, and now telling my best friend that he loves Her! Idk know what to do and where to begin to talk to him about it. So, I called boyfriend tonight and he was really mad and said that he didnt want to talk about it. He was being really mean and as I was talking to another friend about the situation and Cody said dont tell him nothing if you do I will punch you both I am not scared. And kept saying I dont want to talk about it and hung up on me. I called back and he hung up again, then I called a third time and he said are you done talking about it? I said Are you done hanging up on me? I do so much for and with Cody. We have went to far physically and He bosss me around and tells me what to do and I do it. I do everything he tells me to. Sarah Well...I was told that the whole "Cheesus" thing was just someone being silly. I still think we need to pray for the person. Its not exactly something to joke about, and it shows that the person needs God in their life.

well i have alot going on first off my husband is going through a legal battle over somthing that happened a yr ago before we were together. He is having to serve a 14 days in a detention center and this is very hard for us since weve only been married a month and now we have to be separated. Also ive been having a health issue for almost a yr now, i have a lump in my breast which drs say is mastitis but im not nursing or pregnant and havent been either of thse for many yrs so they dont know why i have it and they cant seem to get rid of it. Ive had 3 surgeries in the or and 1 minor surgery in the drs office. Please just say a few prayers for my family so that God will be glorified in all our troubles and that our family will be strengthened. Thank you

JaNique So how about my missions trip is payed for!!! only $400 had to come out of my pocket. God provided me with the strength to do fund raisers for the trip and I raised all the money I needed.
We will be leaving next weekend and I am super excited! God has been preparing my heart and mind and soul for this trip!! I am sooo ready!
