Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

J & J My (29yo) Husband was offered an expensive procedure to insert permanent teeth implants, pro-Bono(free) which is a HUGE blessing; now we have to come up with the funds for the trips down south (6 hour drive, that weve made twice now and will again 2 more times) and the expensive teeth in the next 4-6 months. He is also having two wisdom teeth removed before the implants are done, and because of their location near the nerve there is cause for concern - but we are giving this to God to handle. We are so very thankful to the Dr for offering this procedure and to the Heavenly Father for blessing us with this incredible opportunity! We have signed the release forms for the video interview, photographs and procedure video to be published. My husbands case will be made public to a medical study group (In Sacramento, CA) and online on the Doctors site, filmed and other Doctors will be in the room during the procedure for educational purposes. We are excited; not nervous or worried about the procedure but are focused on saving money to co-labor with God on this blessing. God has been calling my Husband and myself to a mission trip to Rwanda Africa with our church later this year, we want to go but will have to see how the Father has everything planned for us. All prayers are greatly appreciated. We cant wait for this to be done so we can share an incredible testimony of the Fathers grace and love. Thank you for your time! - The Hoovers

Jessica My daughter is a year old and has severe eczema. She is highly allergic to a lot of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, bananas and every time she eats them, her lip starts to swell and she gets itchy everywhere. She is still highly dependent on her soy milk formula, but she doesnt receive the proper nutrients she needs to grow up healthy and strong. Please help me pray that either she grows out of these allergies or we find a medication she can take so she can tolerate eating.

Michelle A friend of mines 2 year old daughter has a rare, aggressive Rhabdoid Tumor. Shes been going through chemo the past 3 weeks and tomorrow they do an MRI to see if its small enough to consider surgery. I believe without a doubt in the power of prayer and what it can do. Chase I am asking for prayer for a young gentlemen named Haas aka Severial. I recently moved to Watford City, ND for work and he is a kitchen employee in the one of the gas stations I consult for. His mother essentially abandoned him out here to find work since it is oil country and jobs are easy to find. This is despite him being mentally slow and havening never met his father. Since Ive been her he has been dealing with a very serious infection on his lower leg which recently took a turn for the worse. Apparently he had been going to the doctor when the pain got bad but they only prescribed him antibiotics and took no further action. Safe to say the medical care is sub par in these parts and they will be held accountable for mal practice if need be. Regardless...on his two quarter size holes in his leg started bleeding two days ago and he nearly bled to death. Currently he is in the hospital awaiting diagnosis and a potential transfer to a better equipped location. Just to give a visual, from about the knee down, his leg is black and blue with two large sores that are continually inflamed. I am very worried that he will lose his leg and potentially his life. My prayer is for complete healing of his leg, rebuking in the name of Jesus of the infection, and the best care possible. Let me add that this is one the nicest individuals a person could ever meet...he extremely kind hearted and in need of loving prayers.

Levi Hey all! Just asking for some prayer. Im in a hard spot in life right now. i have been trying to save money and ready myself to marry my amazing (and very anxious) girlfriend of two years. 3 weeks ago, i got unemployed, im trying to find work, but just doesnt seem to be much out there, and im having a hard time hearing God on what he wants me to do. things have just been overwhelming, there are alot of mountains i have to cross this season (including a potential health issue and some other very personal things). The enemy has been planting fears, anxiety, and discouragement in my path through all of this. i dont even know what to do or really where to start. i feel like im on a time limit and if it runs out, im going to lose everything. i love my girlfriend very much, please pray for her, pray she can be of good courage through this, be extremely patient, have some trust in me, but above all trust Jesus with this situation. She is my best friend and i cant bear the idea of losing her. Pray our relationship is made stronger through this season, and we grow together more than ever, in trust, in love, and in God. This is a hard situation, it may seem not too bad, i cant share the all the details, but it is so hard on me and im just very worn. pray for my faith, and trust in the Lord. pray i dont get lazy and work hard for this desire, but i also dont get ahead of myself and run in front of him. i need peace, wisdom, and Godly motivation. Lana We are in need of moving into a home and want to buy one. We are on a limited budget, but we need to have my Mother come and live with us. We want it to be the Lords Will and in His time not in ours. We have looked at 2 houses just online and are praying, too. I also have health issues (asthma, COPD, diabetes, obesity, ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease, diverticulitis, menstrual issues, etc.) that have kept me from working since 1998 and I have been on SSD since. There are so many people in more desperate need of prayer than I/us so it seems odd to be asking for prayer over a THING. My health is at stake due to a possible surgery to remove or resection the bowel and being overweight. I am in the process of dieting and have lost 15 lbs. but I have lost some momentum and need prayer for this as well. Thank you in advance! Oh, how HE LOVES you and me!

Patricia My name is Patricia Stoddard, I live in Spokane WA, and am a member of North Addison Baptist Church. On Nov.26th I had surgery on my neck to have disks C4 and C5 replaced also to fuse disks C6 and C7 . I will be in a neck brace for about eight weeks (Dec.-Jan.) Im asking for prayer that the bones will knit well and that the titanium plate and screws that fuse the disks will take hold. The pain during recovery has been pretty intense too. When healed it would be wonderful if there would finally be some relief of my chronic pain Iissues.

catherine My mother has COPD and has been in the hospital for the last week and a half. She is scared and just wants to come home. She has had COPD for 10 years and this is her second copd flare up that has put her in the hospital. She is on oxygen 24/7 and can barely do anything anymore. She fights on for her family. Her husband, her daughter (myself), her son and my daughter, ( her 4 year old granddaughter) Please pray for her recovery and long life. I pray every night and hope she will get more strength to come home.

They seemed to have the low blood flow to the baby straightened out, but the baby will most likely be a pre-me. I need prayers for my father. Well my whole family, but mostly my father now. I am 17 years old in my junior year of high school. My father has bipolar disorder, aka manic depresive. He has manic episodes every now and then. sometimes he has to go to an institution. He is showing signs of going manic again, and at the worst posible tine. He is staring off into space, forgeting things he usualy remembers, becoming obsesed with his religion (in an unhealthy way), and Mom and I practicaly have to force him to eat or drink anything. Those are all the warning signs for him. We have recently aquired a new suv, which is Moms only transportation to dialisys. We live paycheck to paycheck, and that is not enough, we also get government support. If Dad cant work, we have to surrender the car. Without the car, Mom cant get to dialisys. If Mom cant get dialisys then shes dead. Our insurance wont cover transportation. Our family is in no position niether emotionaly nor financialy to go through another manic episode. Please pray for all of us. God bless.

michael These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: .......they will be able to place their hands on the sick and they will be healed. Mark 16:17-18. Caitlin this is an oppurtunity for you to put your faith to action. This is real, use your faith. The Holy Spirit produces faithfulness in our lives. I will pray for a healing and that through this healing God will reveal this persons purpose to them and that they will carry out what God has laid out for them.

My sister-in-law, Erin is being induced tomorrow. Its exciting..... but the doctors have said theres something that looks suspicious in the sonogram. Pray that the baby (Harper) would be completely normal and healthy. A picture may show one thing, but I know God can do healing, even in utero!!
My sister-in-law, Erin is being induced tomorrow. Its exciting..... but the doctors have said theres something that looks suspicious in the sonogram. Pray that the baby (Harper) would be completely normal and healthy. A picture may show one thing, but I know God can do healing, even in utero!!
Christian God is certainly in the process of answering my prayers, and I would appreciate continued prayer for personal calling, ministry, and purpose along with the salvation of my family. I know now in part what He has told me He will do! It involves transformation in an unusual and purpose fulfilling way, and to use me and my family as an example to the whole body of Christ that He can turn around a seemingly hopeless situation and make it into a story for is glory. He wants us to believe Him for greater things than we have previously. Dont limit or confine Him! So many have endured terrible losses, and the enemy is relentless. Even in the current state of the USA, I believe God is going to revive and restore one more time, and that He desires that this generation is given to Christ, I am talking the whole generation and whole families. We are in the end times, but God desires that this last generation sound the shofar, go out with a bang! He wants none given into the hands of the Antichrist, and all men and women to repent and be saved. We can believe Him for great things, brothers and sisters. It aint over until God says so, and Hes still pouring out his grace and love in lavish amounts, signs and wonder, before the end of the age, as it says He will in the book of Joel, so it shall be! Keep believing in Jesus triumph at the cross qualifies us to receive Christs unsurpassed riches and full weight of His glory. Amen. Will notify you guys of pending breakthrough, but I believe God has already done it, and it will surely manifest in the physical realm according to is timing be blessed all of you, and thank you for praying! Kelley Well, Mom is getting a little better. Its still hard for all of us though. I ask that you guys pray for me that I can get through my Dads passing instead of holding it all in and refusing to deal with it. :/ But today was nice and warm, and the sky was a very clear shade of blue. Even through the worst, God still loves us and makes new, beautiful days. <3

I am scheduled to start college this coming Summer. I am really nervous because I was suppose to start in the Fall of last year but I dropped my classes due to mental health issues. I am scared that I will have to drop the classes this Summer due to the same reasons. I am also struggling with family issues. My father and myself do not get along very well for mulitpule reasons and we are constantly fighting. I just want every thing to be some what decent between us. I ask that people pray for the families of my friends Cody and Bekka and a few others, who I would rather not mention names, who recently took their lives. I know that their families and all of us friends are suffering greatly with the loss of them. They meant a lot to all of us, and we grieve heavily. I ask that we pray that we all may grieve properly and that God gives us the strength to cope with these situations. Last but not least I want to strengthen my relationship with God. Sandy Art has fully recovered and returned to work. Hes driving a car and riding a motorcycle. It was touch and go at times, but for God. I continue to hope that Art and his wife, Cathy, will come to know the Lord and be saved. Thanks for your prayers!!!

Zombie Pickles He answered it, but not the best way. The cancer in his spine is goneish, but he still has a lot in his brain. He had a seizure but they thought it was a stroke. But today, he cant talk. His brain can function properly but he is incapible of talking. Pray for his wife and his three young kids. Pray that Gods will is done in the situation.

Vera My sister, Andi came through the surgery fine. When I spoke to her this evening (Wed. Feb 16) she was in good spirits and even getting some of her sense of humor back. Test results will be about a week from now. But she believs in Gods love, and we uphold her as already healed. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS! God is SO good!

i have two request, i have a brother in the lord i met last summer at a mens retreat funny enough all 6 of us placed together at random did not want to go, but it was the best thing and we were all glad the God brought us together. anyways Robert has asked me to keep his wife Julissa in prayer because she is having problems with her lungs and heart and there son Chris who went in for surgery on hi tonsils and adenoids. the other request is a fellow co-worker had asked to lift his baby grandson who was born in November had some fluid in his lungs and is having trouble breathing. i thanks you so much and God bless you all.

Jessica The doctors got him stabilized and got his lung re-inflated and stopped the infection. They also got his wound closed and clean. The family is back home again and he is doing fine. Just continue to pray that the family and the baby are taken care of and that God continues to heal the child. Thank you so much for the prayers. I know that the family appreciates them so much!

Shortly after they released him to go home his lung collapsed and he has an infection. I just got updated today. They are doing more surgeries to help get rid of the infection and to make sure everything is ok. Hes going to be in ICU for a while. Christina THANK YOU everyone for praying for my marriage. Its was a difficult journey but God is always faithful and always right on time. Just when my marriage was at the door of separation, and divorce, God has done an amazing restoration. I can testify that the process was difficult but the restoration was overnight.
To God be the Glory, In Jesus Name.

Jessica His surgery went great! They get to possibly come home today! They have said hes been a little fussy but I cant blame him Id be fussy too! But he is doing great all his parents want is for him to sleep better! Thanks for all the prayers I know that God heard them and that they were answered!

About 6 months ago my doctor said my sugar was a bit high. that I was pre diabetic. Now they checked something else and I have to do a 24 hour urine study. Pray that it goes well and they do not have to change anything. I am upset to say the least. And they said keep your blood pressure down, yeah right!Please pray for all protein levels to be normal.

tina Its a depressing world and I know how she feels, please tell her she is not alone, but we stand together and we can fight together and we will go on together. Elija fought off 450 we can do it too one by one... That was what we learned at church on sunday and it lifted me up... I will pray for her... Little by little may she overcome her weakness or maybe all at once, I pray that in Gods time, she will overcome everything and she will follow his plan and be a testimony for him. Amen.

Dan Joel hi, brothers and sisters in Christ things are moving in place so it seams, tomorrow i have a interview at a new job that if im rightly oriented can be full time from the start. I thank the lord because it all came suddenly and mysteriously so at least things are falling in place.
But also keep praying for my girlfriends health and her jaw muscles and wisdom tooth problems, see the roots on her wisdom tooth are so intertwined that if they attempt to remove them there could be a possibility of her loosing feeling of the lips and parts of her face. This is hard on her mind and mine also and today she couldnt go to her work because of the emotional stress of it. I ask the lord that he heals her muscles and her wisdom teeth or permit that if she gets them operated there would be no negative outcome. I ask this humbly with tears in my eyes but keeping his promises near and pleading that he heals her like he healed my diabetes.
