angela My brother, Kellen has a problem with his heart and will need to undergo his first heart surgery in around a months time. I hope you can help me pray for him so that our Father will cure him in such a supernatural way, Kellen wont need to go through all of these surgeries that the doctor has written down for him. He will be going through a detox program soon, and pray that it will help him improve his condition and make his body on the way to perfect health. Devin Please pray for my dad. He was diagnosed with cancer for the second time. First time was in 2006, he went through a bone marrow transplant in 2007, and was in remission for 4 or 5 years, until earlier this month. The doctors told him his options are to go through the bone marrow transplant again (which he refuses to ever do again) or chemo (which theres not promise it would work). My dad has made the decision to go without any treatment (which the doctors give him anywhere from a couple of months up to two years). My family and I are taking it alright. Its even easier for me, seeing how he has grown in his relationship with Christ over the past two years. So please pray for comfort for my dad, and for my family - peace of knowing that God is in control. Thank you.

Yahaira I need prayer for my dad. He had a major stroke which has left him a quadriplegic. He cannot speak, move, feel us holding his hand or eat. He has to communicate by blinking yes or no. I know that God can heal him and it will be a long road with a lot of therapy. But God performs miracles everyday and I know that God will use my dad as a testimony.

Leigh Please pray for my mother. She is 70 years old, and is very depressed, having some stomach pain, racing heart, and panic attacks. She had a bad panic attack earlier tonight, and was very upset, and crying. She never wants to see a doctor. My brother, my only sibling, disowned her over 20 years ago, when my parents divorced, and it also hurts her greatly. Not a day goes by that she doesnt grieve over him not talking to her. She cried about him tonight, saying how much it hurts that he hates her. She says she feels useless, and wants to be able to do everything she did before. Said she wants to help me, but cant. She is in a severe depression, and I dont know what to do.
She lives with me and my 4 children. I am a single mom, after my husband abandoned us 6 years ago. I work very long hours to be able to take care of all of us. Sometimes I have to stay awake for 2 days at a time, and my health isnt the greatest. I have to work, and it is becoming very hard to function at all, because Im so worried about her. I feel like Im about to fall apart.
Please pray that if there is anything physically wrong with her, that God will heal her, and take any sickness away from her. Please also pray that she will not feel depressed anymore, or hopeless. Pray that she will enjoy life again.
Please pray for all of our health, so we can be strong, and happy. Please also pray that somehow, work will become a little easier for me, so that I wont have to skip a night of sleep, and have a few days off once in awhile to spend with my family.
I believe that the power of prayer is very strong, and I have witnessed it work miracles before. So I would be so grateful for your prayers. God Bless.

Gemy Hello(: Its been a really long time since Ive posted a prayer request here. Probably because I lost my faith. D: Maybe there is a bit more, because Im asking for your help here. But Im just VERY confused right now. Some of my friends told me that it isnt an overnight thing and it will certainly take time. But thats something else: What if there isnt much time left? We all know that the end of the world is pretty near. The fact that Im scared of it make me a lot more scared because my teacher said that if you are scared of the end of age, you are not saved. I want to be saved. I want to believe in God because I love Him. But whats happening is: I want to believe in God because I want to be saved from the End of the World. AND. What scares me most is the fact that I dont think I can accept Jesus as my Lord Savior because Im not sure if he even actually existed. DDD: And I found some (mean) verses in the bible. Like Deut. 22:13-22. Please explain? (: This march, Im having a major operation (Double curve, 50 degrees Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis) and Im hoping it would be successful. What if something bad happens? Im not being negative, Im being realistic. And also my education. Because of my operation, the school is letting me take more work so that I can cope up with the things i will miss. It pressures me and usually triggers my epileptic migraine. The school knows about this, so they are helping me with it, which is really nice of them. But please also pray for my health(: Thank you for reading something this long. Please help me. KellieStine I have many health issues including severe scoliosis,I have also been fighting a respiratory infection since Oct. I am grateful for SSI/Disability however $704 a month doesnt provide much.I am on a housing asst.program and recently the portion to my landlord went down and she is evicting me,I am humbly asking for prayers for health and that one of the 2 apts.I can afford will be available by 3/17 which is my final day to be out of this home.Thank you for C28 and all you do and offer,may God continue to bless and guide each of you. Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

I dont kn ow him all that well, bu tI know that many, many people know him personally. his name is Troy. He has Four kids, but I think only two are old enough to realize what going on. Pray for their comfort or their not know what is hapening though they probably already do. Their oldest is 9 or 10.....

Chris Thank you for all your prayers! She has 12 more weeks of chemo, but after her 6 week CT scan the doctors were amazed that she is cancer free!!! Praise our Awesome God! It is amazing to some, but a miracle of God to those who believe!!!!

Shelly Even though my daughter had to have surgery to remove the infection god was with her in the or and she has recovered with out a problem. Sarah32 Praying, praying, praying, buddy! I have health issues of my own, and it is a scary road to face.Ill be crying out to God on your behalf too, dear. I know you are special to God, TJ. He hears every single one of those cries and he witnesses every tear falling from your face. Remember “A teardrop on earth [ALWAYS] summons the King of heaven!" He is here with you in your tears and in your anguish. He has never left you, His son, and He never, ever will. The Macks God showed us the direction we need to go right now for our marriage and for our life! We are still praying for my father as he will be starting chemo on April 6th. I ask you to please pray for my husband and i , as we just got married and have been getting bad news left and right. We just got new a couple weeks ago my father has sever cancer in his bronc tube and part of his throat, it is in operable because of the placement. He is able to do treatment but there is no way of know if it will work because of where the cancer is located, if the treatment does not work then the tumor will cut off his air way causing him to suffocate and died. We are stuck at a dead end in this matter, because we have two choices to move back to my home town and spend time with my father or to stay where we live and keep pushing forward and just not see him until it is his time to pass. Please pray for gods will to show through if we should move or stay where were at in this time. As we have so much waying on us in this moment. Please pray for clarity in this situation as the days draw near. Please also pray for my fathers healing as he is fighting strong but i know with out prayer he wont make it . I thank you so much and god bless you all <@

The Pastor of my church, Pastor Mel Svendsen, Riverview Church in Bonsall California, had a very large heart attack and the doctors had to revive him over 20 times on February 19. He began to have chest pain that night so he went to the hospital, when he got there he had a large heart attack, to keep him stable the doctors put him in a medicine induced coma. His heart is beating on its own but he is not breathing on his own. Sunday and Monday they began to take him off of his sedatives a little, today he is responding the sound and touch of his family and ICU staff with nodding of his head. Pray that we continue to see progress, also pray for his wife and six children, and also pray that through this our church can become stronger in the Lord. Thank you, your prayers mean a lot.

Description One day, Back in October of 2010. I had left my boys behind with daddy, while I went to church. The boys had a simple cold for the 3rd time in october, seemed to never end that month.
3 hours I was away, I had come home to find Elijah Mainville my 3 year Old Son had grown some massive lymph nodes in his neck, within a span of 3 hours!
I freaked. When I had taken him to the Pediatrics Dr. He had told me just by the examination that they were just swollen lymph nodes, and that sometimes this does happen when a bacteria (fluid) get into lymph nodes. He gave us Anti bacterial medicine and sent us home, said they should decrease in a week.
3 weeks had gone by and after seeing the ped, DR over and over, and him telling us that Elijah was ok, he finally refered us to an ENT DR. who at first wanted tp up the dose of Meds we were already taking. in 3 days we were seen again, and the ENT DR started to get concerened that there was no results, he though in his mind "This could be something else" GEE YOU THINK?
So finally he ordered a biopsy to be done on the lymph node! I had a Gut instinct something wrong was going on (I mean these nodes were MASSIVE!) so I asked the Dr to Send the same Sample of the Lymph Node to Lucille Packards Childrens Hospital In palo Alto California! He complied with my request! In the mean time he was trying to diagnose what these nodes were doing. we came up with a few explinations as to like "CAT SCRATCH FEVER" number one because Elijah had a small cat scratch on his shoulder, on the same side as the swollen Lymph Nodes and when we get CSF our nodes tend to swell, so we had thought it ws that or it was a possibility it could be!
A week goes by, Elijah started getting a cold again, and this time he was producing a High fever! i kept it hidden (or down) with childrens tylenol, as when we treat all our kids for fevers! the next day after Elijah having a 102 temp we get a call from THE ENT DR, and the pathologist where we live could Not find anything, of course they did not test for Cancer, they dont have the practice obviously to do that extesnive research, as every pathologist SHOULD HAVE!! anyways, the same day I c got a call from DR CLAIRE TWIST from LPCH at stanford hospital saying they need to see us right away in the Blood Disease and Cancer center! Immidiatly my heart dropped into my stomach and I felt sick! with trying to keep a positive thought in my head, we proceeded to the hosptial with Elijah going for the ride.
On November 5th 2010, Dr Twist (whom is a Neuroblastoma specialist) said that the Pathologist At LPCH had found Cancerous Cells in his Nodes, and they would have to do extensive research to find out how much and where he has it. On this day he was proclaimed a Neuroblastoma Cancer child! This was the day of actual Diagnosis.
It was a tough day! Of course! We went home because Elijahs Fever was down and to normal when we were at Drs Office. They had told us about the protocols and procedures and what happens when he gets a fever, and for me to call if he had a fever! So comes the weekend and Elijah ends up having the 102.5 temp again, and they asked if we can come (drive 3 hours) to the ER in LPCH at Stanford.. ok so an overnight packing happened, and little sleep. A Quick drive to hospital.
It was so kaotic when we got there with Drs everywhere, nurses, Elijah being poked right and left for Blood draws and cultures etc etc. It was hard to comprehend al that was going on, this all happened so fast! He was soon admitted into a room and plenty of meds!
The next day we had talked with Drs. And they decided to go for the testing which included Bone marrow scan and Biopsy CT scan MRI another Lymph Node Biopsy in the neck, and a few more!
A week later (still in hospital) we found out the results and they were :
Neuro Blastoma Cancerours Tumors Stage 4 Cancer. And the reason It became stage 4 cancer is because he has a Massive Tumor growing in the skull of it growing on top all the way thru the BONE itself and of it at the bottom of the bone pushing On top of the brain (NOT A BRAIN TUMOR)!
He had massive cluster of cancerous tumors in his neck. And 90% of His Bone Marrow were covered in head to toe of small detectable tumors!
We quickly had started chemo therapy and the plan was 2 years of Chemo plus recovery chemo! This was the original plan! He would be getting chemo every 3 weeks (once a month basically) The first Night Of chemo (I stayed with Elijah in Hospital everyday) was the hardest for me, it was worse than the day we found out he had cancer.. As I watched them Hook him up to Chemo (the strongest kind of Chemo) I was hurting inside, and felt week and helpless, as a mom thats the worst you can feel for your child! I cried so hard I can barley breath, this was truly the hardest night in my whole entire life knowing they had to inject POISON to kill this disease!
At the same time I felt the Spirit of God grow inside me, I instantly felt an overwhelming response of strength! I had chosen to NOT accept this! I will not accept sickness and disease in my Child. Jesus Christ had already been beaten and bruised and bled on the cross for our healing.!!! This was already done, I just knew I had to believe it and Accept the report of Jesus Christ and his Blood! So every Chemo Elijah had received from here on out (I laid hands on the bags of chemo and BLESSED each one)
We have had to have Thanksgiving in the cafeteria with family coming to visit! Not my ideal TG but you make due! Ronnie (my husband) had to take weeks off of works using up all his vacation time PPO and PTO and his sickdays (wait?) ANYWAYS! Sleepness nights became a part of everyday living, and missing my older son CAYDEN who is 5 yrs old and has AUTISM! I have been an at home mom since I was pregnant, and this was also the hardest thing to do, is to have to sacrifice my time with my older son to be with Elijah! Ronnie had to become a Worker and a House Wife/Mom/ DAD in this process!
3 months into Chemo we noticed dramatic results of the Chemo, because of the Blessing of Christ he dramatically had his swollen lymph nodes decrease in size! Not only that, but he hadnt gotten sick at all with this chemo he was receiving! (knocked on wood) (the cross is the wood).
After knowing that his lymph nodes (tumors) in his neck had decreased the Drs wanted to find out if anything else was decreasing, so we went ahead and did more testing! The testing shown that the tumors were starting to decrease in size. Even the one in his skull. So we kept on path of chemo and changed his chemo meds on the 4th cycle (4th month) we were warned this chemo may make him sick, so we prepared as best as we could!
In the meantime things at home began to develop as far as community outreach was going! Elijahs story began to be told around the world for prayer! He story was on a tv evangelist prayer group, he was all over facebook (Elijah Cancer support Group), by word of mouth, friends in high placesd and friend in low places began to talk! Friend in other countries around the world started praying! Our count at 4 months after diagnosis was over 10,000 people praying for Elijah! CANCER NEVER HAD A CHANCE TO SURVIVE!! My little man became a celebrity per say. A benefit Dinner was held on Jan 15th 2011 for raising money for Elijah! After all that was said and done over 800 people had attended, had a few music groups and skits, and raised just about 18k! an overwhelming response! To this day we are still receiving money from people who are helping! Gods provision has not ended for us!
At the benefit dinner we had announced after all the testing that elijahs Tumors in his neck were 90% gone, and that Thursday before the dinner we had found out the Elijahs Bone marrow went from 90% covered to 0% covered! All the detectable tumors in Elijahs bone marrow had decreased to nothing!
The tumor in his skull had decreased 30% but is still resting on the brain with no puncture to the brain! YAY!!! God was doing amazing miracles in my son! People would look at Elijah and ask, if he is stage 4 why isnt he sick? I would say, Let me tell you why!!?? Because it started with FAITH! Faith in Jesus. To even question God as to why, who, what, when where, and not even a possibility! See My beliefe is EVERY GOOD and perfect thing Comes from God, this is what the scripture says. I dont Believe God gave us to this road to teach us a lesson or to tech us to learn how to have more Faith! But in this time of trouble and trials of sickness and diseases I have LEARNED to fall on Christ and trust him. We tend to limit God and what he can do. I know God can speak and it happens! So therefore I believe as I also see it happening!
Elijah, Last week 3/15/2011 had gone into surgery for a ENT surgeon to remove the tumors in Elijahs neck.. We had recieved EXRAYS on the tumors in his neck and we found out that the Tumors had grown around the corated artery leading to his brain, and 5 other nerves.. Of course this was upsetting because the risk the DR had to take to remove them was damagable to Elijah.. he could have Ruptured the nerves or corated artery cause stroke, brain damage or damage to any of these nerves!
Sooo... We prayed for Elijah to have a miracle!! When the Dr went into Elijahs Neck, The Dr was amazed at what he saw!! God had released the Tumors off the artery and nerves.. there is no damage to the nerves or artery!! and the dr put it in LAME MANS TERMS (It was a piece of Cake!!) he said!! well not really that easy but he cleared it all out!!!!!!
God had removed all the surrounding tumors off of everything! this was a true complete miracle straight from God himself! The drs were amazed!!!
Elijah still MAY HAVE microscopic tumors in his body, hence radiation will be coming, but more testing is to be done to determine where and how much!
As of Today 3/23/11 . we are making our 6th cycle our last! and testing is to come for radiation. than stem cell infusion (his own) I will keep editing this box as more miracles happen and more testimonies happen with Elijah!!

Faith Thank you to everyone who has been praying. I am truely humbled by all of you willing to help. And since posting this prayer request, there has been a peace that has covered all of my family. So the lord has heard us all and is answering. =)
Unfortunatlly i dont think grandpa cancer is going to lift becaused the nurse has brought over a hospital bed and he has stoped eating. So if you all can contiue to pray for my grandmas strength to help her through and pray that grandpa has a peacefull passing and that he wont suffer more then he has too i would really apreciate it. Please to anyone who is willing, my family is in need of prayer. My grandfather has terminal throat cancer and has been battling it for the past year and unfortunally he is loosing the battle. My mom feels that he will pass sometime this week. It is going to devestate my family because him amd my grandma are the rock of our family. Now he has recently been saved so i am glad that he will soon be with Jesus and that he wont be in pain anymore but alot of us arent ready to let him go yet, expecially my mom and grandma. So please help me pray for them. He has 3 daughters, 12 grandchildern, and 6 great grandchildern and they will all suffer the pain of him leaving. Please help me pray for them to accept what will happen and when the time comes of him being called home that we will all be able to handle the pain of his loss. Thank you in advance for all of you prayers and willingness to help. God bless.

Rachel I just heard from Ben and everything is fine, there wasnt a tumor or anything like that. The doctors said it was just stress build up. So Praise God!!! And please pray that he would continue to get better. And I posted another request regarding the rape that happened in my neighborhood, please keep praying about that. Please pray for my friend Ben. He is going to the hospital tomorrow. His head has been hurting for a month now so they are getting it checked out. Please pray for him. And also weve heard that there has been a rash of break ins (i really hate to type the next part) and rapes. We arent exactly sure when or where these things were happening but weve heard that it might be in or around our neighborhood, it will be on the news tonight so we will know for sure. But none the less please pray for those who have been harmed and for the person to be caught and stoped. Also for the protection of the inncoccent people who may be in harms way. Julie Thank you everyone for all the prayers!!! My visit to the dentist went very well and I am going back next week for more work. I am gonig to be a part of a music festival on March 17 and 18 and I am worrying my head off about it. Im doing 2 duets in band and choir and one trio in choir. Band is down, but choir...no. I ask that you guys pray for Gods will to come through and for my worries to cease...so I can just trust God with this. And we have no school the whole week either. A pipe burst. So thats less and less practice time and on top of that Drivers Ed was supposed to be all this week too. I hope I dont get an ulcer... D: I also ask you pray for my Mom, shes still having pain from her broken ankel and shes not really handling it as best she could...

ok so not so much a prayer request, more of a testimony. yesterday(tuesday...yeah tuesday i think) my english class was really having a rough time. everyone was angry(and probably still is at each other) so my teacher assigned a paper. the thing was meant to be a rant about what was wrong. i couldnt think of anything and was bambuzled by it. i turned in a blank paper and told my teach that there is nothing wrong at the moment. then it hit me...nothing was wrong and nothing had been for awhile now. i thought to myself long and hard on it until i realized that it started happening right when i got more active in the church. almost like someone was helping me out and making life simplier(wink wink). O.0 Oh my gosh I cant even tell you how much I am praising the Lord right now!!!!!!!! Thank you for praying, we still need prayer, but AHH!! GUESS WHAT?!??!! My Grandmother, who started off with a flu and then got the worst case pneumonia you can get (I mean, the kind that young people die from, and shes 90) and the doctors said she probably wasnt going to survive, is DOING BETTER!!
They had given her the antibiotics, and usually what happens in this situation is the patient will get better but then right afterwards plummet and do really bad. Thats what they figured was going to happen with my Grandmom. So anyway, well first... the first night she was in the hospital and they said she probably isnt going to live, I was praying to God not only for her healing and salvation (and she might be saved by the way, I really dunno yet) and other stuff, but also that she would have a restful night sleep. Well the next day we heard that that particular night she had a wonderful rest. I was like THANK YOU GOD!!!
The second night I was still praying but I was crying all night cause everyone was so gloomy about her situation we all sort of expected her to die unless there was a miracle, everyone has been planning out the funeral arrangements. Well my dad calls this morning with a little ray of light, he was like, theyre sending her home because shes actually doing better!!!!!!!!!! Shes actually coughing up the junk in her which they said was a good thing. They sent her home with antibiotics. So what is going to happen now is, either shes going to recover and live, or if she gets worst, shell go back into the hospital and I dont know what will happen after that.
I just want to say what Ive learned through all this, so that you may learn and benefit too! One, I still dont know if my grandmother is going to survive this, Im just so thankful shes doing better right now in this particular moment. I was praying the pneumonia just get out of her, and to hear about her now coughing the stuff up am like ha!! :D :D :D But I just wanted to say that through this whole thing that has happened so far.... One I learned more than I knew before how I have no control over anything. I am but Gods creation in Gods plan living my life God has ordained and whatever happens with my grandmother is also in Gods hands. Two, I learned that praying repeated prayers, at least with the mentality of "if I pray this one prayer constantly God might hear" is pointless, and totally misses the point of prayer. I knew that before, but through this whole thing, Ive noticed it better then I knew before. God never said repeat your prayers to me so that I may be persuaded by them. No, He said praying all sorts of prayers all the time. I have never prayed so much in my life, I mean, seriously, and Im not boasting, this is just something Ive never done before that God has been teaching me stuff through.. UH GOD IS JUST AMAZING!! But I was praying periodically throughout the day and at night and it was so neat to learn that God has heard my first prayer, my second, my third, none of my prayers need repeating, I can pray all sorts of prayers. Sometimes I felt like, how do I pray in this, what do I say Lord? But it all just kinda came together. Third thing I learned was how Jesus prayed. I felt weird asking for God to take the pneumonia away sometimes cause I was like, well, if its not Gods will that she live then why I am I praying for it to go away, what should I be praying for, etc. etc. And then I remembered Jesus, and He prayed, before being crucified, that this cup be lifted from Him but not His will the Fathers will. Jesus actually prayed the cup be lifted from Him, just as I CAN pray for my grandmothers pneumonia to go away. And I was like, I know Jesus already knew what was going to happen and why, but I dont know what is going to happen with my grandmother, but I realized that I can pray for things, like my Grandmothers pneumonia to go away, but I must give it to God. Not that it was EVER mine to control, however, my trust in Him is all I have to give. So either I dont trust Him, or I do. So, despite being totally distraught and crying my head off cause I didnt want to see my grandmother hurt or die or anything (she still might die, I know) but I was like, after all my prayers, "Not my will, but Yours" and it was frustrating in a way because I was like, I just dont get it. I dont know what is happening I cant see what God sees this is so frustrating!!! But God has been teaching me more and more about His sovereignty (what number are we on? Four? Three? lol Lost count) and what that looks like, and its like I am but MATTER, a mere Creation, there is NOTHING about me or for me, except to fall down and praise God. Think about that for a moment. On the flip side of this, I may be mere matter, but God made this mere matter and has called it special. To a mere human like myself, that seems incredible that a God who created me should love me. But look at it from Gods perspective! Of COURSE He loves what He has made. I will never fully understand Gods love for me or how He works with His children, all I know is that in this present situation, at this very moment of this situation, all I can do is trust God, praise God, pray all sorts of prayers and honestly tell Him not my will but Yours Lord. Though I never had, or owned, the situation..though the situation was never in my hands to begin with, I never ever had it, I was never ever in the position to give supposedly my power over the situation to God to let God deal with it, because I never had such power to begin withNo, Ive come to realize that giving things up to God is not giving up something, its doing the thing that only we can do, realizing and acknowledging God as what He is, the Sovereign Lord who is the Only One who has EVER been in control of anything and everything! I may question many things, and I shouldnt really because I should just trust, but its so easy to forget in our little earthly lives, and especially since weve never seen God face to face, its so easy to forget, what Sovereign means. In fact, there is nothing else to compare, so we have no earthly example of what Sovereign means, so its hard for us to even grasp it. To learn it, however, is what God will teach us. And i think God has been teaching me that during this whole thing, and I just wanted to share that with you!
Anyway, thank you for praying, all sorts of prayers, to our God, for my Grandmother. Even though my grandmother seems to be getting better now, and that is rather tempting to make me want to pray like, "GOD!!! FINISH THE JOB HEAL HER COMPLETELY!!!" Im not, Im going to continue to pray the way I have been, to give up "my will" for the only will ever in existence, Gods will. God does hear prayers and He answers them all, according to His Sovereign plan, because He does only good! My grandmother still needs prayer, shes not fully recovered, I still dont know about her salvation, I dunno WHAT is going to happen but I CAN pray for what is going on WITH acknowledging not our will (again, not that our will ever had control over anything) but Gods will. His good, pleasing and perfect will. And by the way, my none stop prayers which I had mentioned before, Ive never really prayed this much before, wasnt because I wanted something so bad, I mean, I wanted a lot of things, but all these prayers really came out of me because I desperately love my grandmother and I dont want to see anything bad happen to her. And that made me think of how in 1 John 4, verse 20, it says how those who dont love those whom they HAVE seen, could not love God, who they have NOT seen. And also in verse 10, how God sent His Son for us because He loved us. All of this made me think of how, the love I have for my grandmother, and I mean, I was SO sad about this by the way, she literally is the most special person in my life, EVER, I cant even tell you. I mean, I love everyone in my life, and I never have favorites but I wont deny, she is something VERY special to me more than others, for some reason. Hate saying I have favorites and I wouldnt say I do, I love everyone in my life, but again, she is just really special to me. But I remember feeling horrible about not knowing if she is saved or not, I actually was like, man, if I had some kind of control over this (again, "my will" never was, its always "Gods will") but I thought, if I did have some kind of control over it, if she was going to hell, Id give up my life for hers and let her go to Heaven and Id go to hell in her place. I mean, I knew I shouldnt have said that and I WASN"T telling that to God like, make it so! I know I shouldnt dabble in things like that and I wasnt by the way, thats just how I felt and I really meant it, though I wasnt saying "make it so" because I knew thats not how things work and I should not dabble in that..again, thats just how I felt. Anyway, that made me think about, my love for my grandmother, is like the love God has for His Son, and for us.. God sent His Son, for us. I will never fully grasp the depth of that love, but like in 1 John, I realized, how can I understand the love I have for God if I didnt know what it was like to love those whom Ive seen, like my grandmother, and I have never seen God, yet I love Him. No, I dont need people to see to know what love means. But I will tell you, it does put a different perspective on it, a more "real" perspective.
ANYWAY! Enough of me rambling.. and by the way, I wasnt boasting about my prayers or anything, just so you know, I just wanted you guys to know what has happened!! I never usually tell people what "Ive done" because I dont want them to think I was trying to boast, Im a sincere person who would never say something to boast, I hate boasting. Again, I have never had any control over anything, I CAN"T boast. I just wanted to let you know what has been happening :) Also want to say that, NO, my saying Id give my life up for my Grandmas was NOT going to make God be like "oh, my holy and faithful child, I will give you whatever you want" haha. no no no please dont misunderstand!! That merely showed me what love meant, more than I had realized before :) Thats all that ever was, just so you know.
Anyway :) Keep praying all sorts of prayers all the time, in HIS WIll, give up what control you thought you had that you never had, because you never had it, but acknowledge His Sovereignty.. not so your prayers may be answered in the way you like, but so that you may see what a prayer truly means and see what good God is doing, because in all things, God is good and does good He can only do good! It hurts me to see my grandmother might die, and if she died, I might be like, this wasnt good! But know that I understand to some degree what it means to say God is Sovereign now, and I hope that if you dont understand that to some degree, God will show you, because knowing even to a small degree what that really means, one can only praise Himyou realize when you learn what it means to say God is Sovereign, that that is the position God has been trying to get us into because that is the position we are suppose to be in BECAUSE that is the only position we are in or could ever be in. Any control we assume we have is our own deception. The keyword here is good. Gods Sovereignty is GOOD. I use to sometimes feel like, God, not all of this is good, how can I revere your Sovereignty? How can I acknowledge it properly, when I dont understand? But I have learned that, indeed, Gods Sovereignty is not just some all powerful control. It is all powerful control that is GOOD. What I mean is, we dont have a bad God. We, thankfully, have a GOOD GOD!! So if you cant see the future, fear not! Pray all sorts of prayers, acknowledging Gods will, because there is nothing but that that we can do. Everything is in His hands, and God can only do good! Do you even realize what blessing it is to have a GOOD GOD!!! (Just imagine what it would be like to have a cruel God who enjoyed making the worst for His creation, imagine us as Gods toys..lol) GOD IS GOOD! "Praise the LORD. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His might heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness. Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with timbrel and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD"!!! (Psalm 150).

Hey guys, I already posted a prayer for my grandmothers flu to go away, well she needs further prayer. She is now in the hospital with pneumonia. Im very sad. Please pray for her and her healing. Also her salvation, I am unsure if she is saved or not. I hope she gets better, unless this is her time to die. Im so sad about her dying though, shes so special to me its hard to let go. Hopefully this will all just pass and shell be ok. Thank you for your prayers :)

Courtney You are still in my prayers hunn. Just have faith and give all of your worries to our Father. I know it hurts so badly, but no matter what happens, you know it was never to do anything to you... He is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS there for you even in your darkest times like these..
