eric I have made it through the entire process to become hired a sheriff. I am now at the last test, the polygraph exam. I am really nervous because I have heard they are extremely unreliable and the failure rate is high. Praying that I can pass it and start this new career. I really would like this career and feel it would give me the job security to start a family.

Barbara Just prayer that my kids, esp. my teen sons (one will turn 20 soon) will actually feel or hear from God. As they want to believe but say theyve not heard His voice or seen His hand in their lives. I have, but I know its different for each person and I know God loves them and knows them individually. Nathan I found out the other day that one of the guys that I know has turned atheist and said that he has lost all belief in that God thing completely a few weeks ago. And last year was when he got saved and he was really on fire for God and everyone could see a real change in him. But when I found out about him going to atheist and asked him why he said that he was tired of hypocrite Christians . Of them saying that Christians shouldnt go drink, have premarital sex, and living like the world but him knowing that they went out on the weekends and did the same things that they condemned. Pray that he would give his life back over to God and be on fire as much as when he first started. I invited him to a youth rally in a few weeks but he hasnt responded, pray that he would give it a chance because I believe that he would experience another encounter with Christ .

Servant of God Hi Rosemarie.I have been thorough this before also.Its time to clean house!Literally! Ask God to lead you through his Holy Spirit to lead you to those things in your house or room if living at home and reveal to you those things not of him. Including the jewelry you wear?After you do this pray to God to annoint you and your space you sleep in with his Holy Spirit.Before you go to sleep, read your Bible and afterwards praise God ahead of time for him releasing any spirits of darkness from entering you dreams and dont sleep with any music or TV shows on that are not blessed. Fear is not of God. Neither is anxiety.So I pray God leads you to follow some of my suggestions and pull down your shades tonight and say good bye to the darkness that has been interrupting your sleep.God bless you Rosemarie.Lisa

SkaterGirl Please pray for one of my parents. They are going through a personal crisis and have just started counseling (Praise God!!!). They are going to need all the help they can get, as it is a very big problem. This has put an enourmous strain on the family as well. SkaterGirl Please pray for my sister and me. We are going through a difficult time with a person in our lives who is going through a hard time and putting the stress on us. Even though we are sympathetic and try to be helpful, it has been difficult to deal with and sometimes we are at our wits ends. The strain is especially hard on the two of us, dealing with caring for him/her each day. We are having trouble finding ways to get time for ourselves and shake off the stress. I know there should be ways to do this, Ive just tried everything and sometimes I feel alone and dont know how. It seems like its always there and its really bad some days! Thank you. -SkaterGirl

christopher david There i s a little boy in Africa that was hit by a car (I found out from my girl) and its not like the U.S. there with free healthcare available to the poor. Pray for the boys recovery and for the lady that hit him, she was not at fault but, just the same both parties have ended up paying hospital bills that no one can afford. The price of the U.S. dollar there is almost double what it is worth here. So please keep them in prayer. The little boys name is Tim Welbeck. God Bless and thank you. christopher david This is a follow up prayer request for Lorinda Quest...Ive been talking to Lorinda for about 9 months on the phone, chatting online,etc. Weve gotten to know each other as well as we possibly can without actually being together. We have basically fallen for each other and have been praying for the Lord to do His will in our lives. We have both expressed the desire to get married. We have been praying together and asking God for guidance. This is probably the strangest thing God has ever done to either one of us and we are actually enjoying each others company even though we have never even touched. We both desire for our relationship to go in the direction that He wants it to. We have agreed not to put each other before Christ. Jesus Christ comes first no matter what happens. Unfortunately, I am just a poor college student going to Victory University for my ass. degree in Christian Ministries. She is a student in Africa and she can always attend school here if she can get here. Not only is it killing me that shes in such a dangerous country, but also I forsee no way to get her here nor how to take care of her if/when she does.I am a certified chef, but I have chosen to go back to school to serve Christ. Nathan I have a friend who is like a brother to me that is really needing prayers at this moment. I have been talking to him and he has started to go to church with me. Now he believes in God but I dont know if he KNOWS God. So pray that he would turn his whole life back around to Jesus. He also got laid off from his job a few weeks ago so pray that he might find one soon. He also has a few personal battles that he is going through with his family looking down on him because of his past. Jasper According to the people around me, I have two friends. But i dont feel that way. I started out with excitement. We are all Christians and I was so looking for a fellowship. But after 1 week, i got to know their true nature and now i am starting to develop resentment. I am doing medicine, 3rd year. I have been patient with them for 3 years. but now, whenever i see them, i will think "oh God, do i have to say hi?" They have mocked me, called me a traditional freak for the sake of asking them to read Bible everyday and not only on sundays, the "righteous" show-off and more. I have kept quiet. But recently, I am not able to do that. I feel like talking back to them harshly. One of them is always complaining, talking bad language, and has a bit of pride. the other one is always arguing and tries to prove that she is right and often makes fun of others. Now i am starting to think whether it is Gods will for me to be with them or not. I need your advice and prayer. And please do pray that the hurt they have caused would heal soon and that i would get the strength to forgive them

Jason My son has been in the USAF for almost a year and half now. He worked very hard throughout high school and went to basic training only 6 months after high school graduation. Since the age of 12 all he wanted was to join the USAF. Tomorrow he is taking what is known as his CDCs (Career Development Course), Basically a test about his job. He needs a 75.1 or better to pass. Its a 100 question test. If he fails this test he and his immediate Supervisor have to plead his case before the Base commander for a 2nd chance. If he isnt granted the opportunity at a retake he is discharged from the Airforce, If he is able to retake the test and still fails once again he faces a Discharge. My son Brendon is a hard worker with a strong work ethic, stays out of trouble, and has served well during his time in the service. He does not test well. He nerver has. He is one of those people that knows all the answers but when that piece of paper is set in front of him entitled Test he freezes up. I ask for your prayers in his time of need. As well as building projects, help with church planting and ministering to native Costa Rican people in a small mountain village.

Jonathan Well... Ive kept up to date with this story... mind you, I have no personal relationship with Jerry Lawler, but Im like a few other million people are as well, and I care for him as the soul that he is. I say he is a soul based off a quote by C.S. Lewis that goes You dont have a soul. You are a soul. You have a body So when Jerry had that heart attack on air, I was very freaked out and worried.
Tonight, Im happy to report that Jerry has been recuperating since the heart attack, and has been released from the hospital and is in his home in memphis. Hell be having an interview on WWEs Monday Night Raw next week.. But as we give God thanks for his healing and recovery, I ask that you send one more final prayer on his behalf that he will be fully healed in a timely manner and that he would be inspired to open his heart to letting God in his life more.

Jennifer The mission trip was a success! Money turned out to not be a problem at all thanks to generous donations from friends and family and a job I was not expecting to get. And of the 15 of us who went, we all came back to the States in perfect health and very happy hearts. Thank you for your prayers!

Doreen Jennifer has your church thought of giving you flyers for you to send to family and frineds or your boss, co-workers to make a donation in your name to help you collect the mony. About 4 years ago our church went to Mexico and we were to stay for one week, it was an orphanige place and what we did was HARD LABOR we were building houses with rooms for other people to stay in like we did when they went to help this place. and i mean built from the ground up mix the cement and rocks(no machine to mix) nail all the lumber together, poor the cement and smooth it out(we had no machinery what so ever) etc. We ate on the premises and the children were the ones serving us(we had a little problem with them doing that cause we went there to help them build and we should be serving them, but they told us that that was the kids idea as a thank you from them for us going there to do this hard labor to help them in the future. And on our days off we would go into the poorest section in mexico that what we saw how they lived was heart <3 breaking, and it made us appreciate all the simple things we have here in the U.S. We all went out and asked some companys if they would donate things to take with us ( oh and we didnt fly we went on a bus). I work at orchard supply hardware and i asked if they would donate gloves, shovels, trowels etc. and at the time we were selling the scooters so they donated 3 of those for the kids to ride, at the time i had so many beany babies that i took with me and gave them to the kids, the church took a bunch of arts and crafts for the children. And to see the smiles on all those kids and the parents was undescrbibale, but we had so much fun that week that i will sherish that for the rest of my life. I sent out so many donation flyers i mean to every one i knew, i found out that helped pay for other people to go and while we were in mexico and when we got back the church was still getting donations. LORD i pray you bless Jennifer with the money she needs to go do your work in a country that needs to know you LORD have not forgotten them that your always there, and i pray this in your name JESUS CHRIST amen. -|-

My wife and I work fulltime jobs, and she is 6 months pregnant with our son. We need a vehicle to get to work and to doctors appointments. It has put alot of stressed on our marriage. Were able to get rides for now but we need a car bad. I know that God knows our situation and He will provide, so im asking for prayer for a car for my family. And for God to be the center of our marriage.

Donald I started the seasonal job the 1st of the month and will be working thru nov 1st.
But unfortunately my 1st ck had to be used to fix my car and I am still having car issues. Im driving approx. 800 miles a week and cant afford any more problems

I have not worked since the end of last year after having to leave for health reasons ( 2 strokes in an 18 month period ) I have been looking and have had interviews but have not had much luck. Partly I believe due to my age ( 53 ) and my prior salary history. I am down to the very end and have not been able to pay my rent for the past 3 months, my landlord has been very understanding but I dont think that will last much longer. I ask that you pray that my interviews this week go well and I finally have a job although they are both for temporary positions. I have 33 yrs of retail and financial management and multi unit management experience. Thanks, Don

Elena Thank you for your prayers!! :) Everything got straightened out with my Dads medication. We moved and so weve been having a bunch of problems transferring and getting my Dad established somewhere else. Although he is still keeping his liver doctor five hours away. Please pray for a miracle for my dads liver, he has cirrhosis/hep. c. I believe it is stable, but I just want him to be okay. And I do not want to take advantage of the time I have with him. Elena Sorry I did not answer this prayer right away. I was close, but did not get the job. I wasnt what the manager was looking for. It was hard to swallow, but I grew from this experience and Im so much stronger now. I am continuing to put all my trust in the Lord. I know he has a job out there somewhere for me! I just need prayers to keep being positive and motivated. Ive struggled with being able to put myself out there.. I have anxiety and it has held me back a lot in life. But I am trying to overcome my fears with the Lords help. Ive gotten off to a late start in life as far as a job and even school goes. Sometimes I feel down about it, but I know I cannot let that stop me, I just pray that someday I will get used to all this, do what I have to do and be the woman of God Im meant to be. My poor choices have stripped my husband of his honor, reputation and ability to support our family. Andre' Hello guys, my prayer was answered. Thank you so much for coming into agreement with me. It means a lot to know that their are Christians like you helping others out. How my prayer got answered was very long. In short, I will explain how the prayer got answered. Couple weeks after you guys helped me with prayer rooms began to answer my ad, I began to search ads in Kijiji, etc... Essentially, before having searched in Kijiji I had met my Pastors son (who also is a Pastor) at a Christian store nearby. We began to talk and my sister asked the Pastor if he knew of anybody who was renting. We communicated back and forth but nothing had happened. However, it was just funny how the Lord made all of this happen. Really, I mean it was one of those things that you had to of been their to of known what I mean, haha. Anyway after having searched and looked at rooms things of the rooms just did not sit right. There were some things that neither my mom or I approved of. Weeks after my conversation with my Pastors son I get another message from him, this time asking me to call him regarding housing/room and board. So I did, sure enough I am currently living with a young adults Pastor which is awesome because he is so cool. To say the least, God did answer my prayer. Thanks again for your prayers. Praise God, Halleluja.
P.s. Let it be as a reminder to you who helped pray that Jesus is alive, and God is quick to answer prayer at His timing, though. Please do God a favour guys, stay strong and take great delight in the Lord. For in His word it says, Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." Take Him at His word and you will see the great miracles that God is eager to do through us. God bless you all :).

Jonathan Thank you for your prayers. My nephew is doing fine. Hes going to be 4 on september 8th... he still has a very faded mark there, but hes cool.. the families act the same, but Ill be there when I can to help him out and encourage him to walk in the Lord. Please pray for my my 3 year old nephew and his family as he got caught in a home accident to where he suffered a big swelling below his right eye starting at his bottom eyelid, and a red scratch/cut down the right side fo his face. I pray Instant Healing, and that none of his marks become scars, and as for the family, his grandmother on his fathers side has a very crutterd up house, which is believed to be the base reason why it happened, and his mothers side of the family (My family) is just seriously freaking out about it, and not relaxing and stuff. Elena Thank you for your prayers everyone! The trip went well, my Dads stomach looked normal. Right now, I believe his liver is stable, but still not in the best condition because of the cirrhosis and hep. c. Please just pray for a miracle and complete healing. Also, that I would spend more time with him and show him that I care. My apt. went well, I found out that I have a low thyroid. My energy was really low because of it and I was pretty depressed. I am on medication to help bring my thyroid levels up, still have to make an apt. for a check-up, but all should be well! God bless you guys!! <3

Dotti theres more to it than I inially said. When Wayne died I wanted his funral 2 days lateron Sat. The preachers wife said they had an anniversary celebration taking place Sat and asked me to moveit to Fri. I did. Then she told me there would be a dinner afterward for the family. I told her not to do that. I just wanted o go home after the funeral. Well she did it her way. Most ofWaynes friends didnt know he had died, they told me later. It was a small funeral compared to what it would have been. Just this week someone asked my son how was Wayne.=a friend of his. No one stayaed for the dinner except me and the kids. ThenI had to write thank you notes for something i asked her not to do. I am sorry but I am still angry with her. That was my husband-I am so sorry he inconviently died at the wrong time but had she not had the lunch it would have worked out. I wantso bad to tell her and get t straightened out but I dont know what to do. I am angry still. She had no right as a ministers wife to do that. Dotti Bates

Treena Praise The Lord! He is awesome and powerful! About 13 days ago my house sold, and this past Monday I was approved for a mortgage to purchase a new home for my children and myself. We are moving on September 10, 2012.

I have fought this temptation for years and now I do not know how to react anymore. I have never sought prayer before in this matter but I know it has gotten worse because now I feel no remorse over what I am doing, and I know very clearly that what I am engaging in is shameful. I know that I am worth so much more and I need to find the strength to say no more and to surrender to the Will of the Lord.

Sharon My prayer has not be answered.I will share that myself and another woman are beginning a Christian singles group in our area. We will be bringing in another male from our church. God is turning something into wonderful.
I am stressed over a lack of money for school, and I really need a new roof hopefully before the winter. I have begun a campaign on Indiego go Bay Area Mom Needs Help! to try and gather some funds to pay for my school debt, and hopefully get that roof. I just found a huge hole under my sons bathroom vanity....yikes. I saw a mouse and I looked at where it ran away to. My son and I just put something over it until able to seal it properly yuck!!!!! This was a bad month boys school nearly $300, cars registered and smogged. More issues. I just recieved 2 emails saying not right now. I put out another job application today. I just keep trying, praying, try to be content and optimistic. Thank you for all your prayers!!!

I relocated to the Bay Area after my divorce due to the abuse inflicted to my adopted foster sons by my ex husband.I was shocked!!!!I packed up and moved nearly single handly it has been HARD! God has shown Himself over and over again. My boys have some special needs. We have settled in and there has been many challages stolen vehicle, housing, home repairs (bad floors/need a roof), numerous car repairs(only good local), in 1.5 years only have managed to get an on call job for 32.5 months (ouh, but I was blessed with it). I volunteer at church weekly but wanted something else progressive for my family. I went back to school and I am doing well. The debt scares me , as I already felt I was sinking. I havent many friends yet, and no really cloase one {:^( I dont drink, smoke, swear so my market is slight ha ha ha. I am scared of the life debt, and terrified of the school debt that has already began to accumulate . I am pretty self sufficient so it is quite humbling. I have decided to pray and also sign up for an Indiego go campaighn as a Bay area single mom that needs help! and I am praying I can raise some funds to cover my school tuition.. God knows what I need and he is aware of the campaign. Please pray about that, and a job. Peace with school the life stress derails me off focus for school studies. My son 13 has glucoma, cranio facial, and some anxiety/sensory issues. My 11 year old sensorty issues as well. They have overcome sooooo much and are soaring..family goal.Soaring is the best. I relocated to the Bay Area after my divorce due to the abuse inflicted to my adopted foster sons by my ex husband.I was shocked!!!!I packed up and moved nearly single handly it has been HARD! God has shown Himself over and over again. My boys have some special needs. We have settled in and there has been many challages stolen vehicle, housing, home repairs (bad floors/need a roof), numerous car repairs(only good local), in 1.5 years only have managed to get an on call job for 32.5 months (ouh, but I was blessed with it). I volunteer at church weekly but wanted something else progressive for my family. I went back to school and I am doing well. The debt scares me , as I already felt I was sinking.
