Beth I recently left my church of 14rs. It was a pentecostal church which I loved. I was a SS teacher and was the leader in a drug and alcohol ministry. Things happened and it was time for a change. I am in between things and want to get into the ministry again, but need God to show me what to do. Please pray for guidance for me and that He will open those doors for me.

Tonya P. I have a jealous spouse who at times is disrespectful towards me due to his lack of self esteem. It pushes me away. He also lacks faith. I ask that you pray for us both. Not sure if I should stay. Also, I am praying for a financial increase so that i can be able to stand on my own two feet with or without a spouse. I am praying for a career advancement. I love my job but I am praying that my career goals are in line with what God has for me. I am also lacking drive and discipline in areas of my life. Marieny Im not gonna get into much detail about my situation except to say that I know better than this but I keep making the same stupid mistakes in my relationship with my best friend and in general. I know I need to do my part as well but it would make me feel a bunch better if I had some more help. I have such a hard time communicating and I give incomplete information and end up making people upset at me for stupid reasons. Im scared that I may not change even though I want to , i dont know how I keep making the same mistakes over and over when Ive talked about it many times with my friend. Katie Today my aunt called and asked me to send a pray the prayer chain for her co-worker who let their 3 month old puppy out to go potty and the puppy was stolen - The owner thinks it was teenagers but we ask that our prayers go out and the puppy be returned to its owner safely and unhermed. Thanks to all who pray. Prayer really does work in numbers.

Norge A friend of mine has been wrongly diagnosed and has done her research to know what ails her, but the doctors are refusing to believe her and are taking away her housing and living allowance to control her, I ask Jesus Christ to step in to help and to show her this love and make a way where she is seeing no way. Brandon I would like to ask for prayer. Im in the Air Force stationed in Okinawa, Japan. I would like to ask for prayer for the men and women stationed here that God will give them wisdom, comfort, and guidence for the NCOs all the way to the President during this time as it is greatly needed. North Korea is a real threat right now and I know there is going to be people who are scared. I would also like prayer for my church here Neighborhood Church and its missionary pastors, Pastor Wes and Carol Mathis and Pastor Christian and Leah Siangco. Just pray for wisdom for them and that they will be able to get the support from churches in the states and that the church grows more. Its been growing a lot the last few months as more people are coming to Okinawa and weve outgrown our parking lot. I would personally like to ask for prayer for me at work as being around people that talk about sex, beer, swear constantly, and question my faith on a regular basis. I would like to have the words to say when they do question me and most of the time dont. Being around them talk about the other things make me tempted but I havent faultered. Pray that I have the strength to stand up to them and answer the tough questions that the have and the knowledge of the Bible needed to bring them to Christ. The friends and relationships sort of goes hand in hand. I have made some awesome friends here and 1 is an amazing girl who has everything that the Bible says to look for in a wife and Id love to date her but I know Im not in the best place with God right now. Im working so hard on changing that and getting over these addictions that are holding me back. Ive never felt more convicted to be a better person and a better servent of God until I met her. I also want to take leave and go on a missions trip sometime this year so I pray that God will show me where he wants me and that I will be able to save up enough money for the trip as I dont get payed really anything. I would like to thank you in advance for any prayers that I recieve from anyone. I know this is a lot to pray for but man I am just so convicted right now to change my life and be a better person!

Deborah A friend of mine is going through a custody battle with his ex. His ex is accusing him of physically hurting the child. Hes gone through many trials for almost 10 yrs. Hes a "lost" Christian with a broken heart. My sisters and I have been praying for him and his children. Good father? yes! Good provider? yes! Abusing father? NO!! Ive seen him with his children and they have such a loving bond with each other. Hes hoping to have "full custody". Hes deep in financial debt with court fees that he hasnt been able to enjoy life. Praying that the Lord will give him encouragement, faith, wisdom, direction, and hope.

John Me and my wife made the decision to put our children in a Christian school 2 years ago. We have been doing our best to make ends meet but the tuition leaves only $6.50 left every month after the bills are paid leaving nothing for emergencies or any repair. I ask for prayer for us to have wisdom and understanding to do what is right for our kids and our family and that God will lead us in that direction. Yahaira I need prayer for my dad. He had a major stroke which has left him a quadriplegic. He cannot speak, move, feel us holding his hand or eat. He has to communicate by blinking yes or no. I know that God can heal him and it will be a long road with a lot of therapy. But God performs miracles everyday and I know that God will use my dad as a testimony.

His daddy paseed away when he was nine and his older brother ended his own like with fatal gunshot to head. Esther God answers prayer, first I want to thank people that have been praying for me, THANK YOU. Thank you for your commitment. Matt.7:7; I have a temporary job, and I am thankful to God, bc I really was in need of a job. I also want to ask if you continue praying for me bc it is temporary. 12 Comments I used to play basketball with a gentleman who was in his seventies. He was in great shape. He could run up and down the court with the twenty year olds. One day, we were talking and he said, "Joel, its kind of funny. When I was forty, my doctor told me that my knees wouldnt hold up with me playing as much as I do, but I just kept playing. At fifty, my doctor told me my back would start hurting if I kept running and jumping like this. But I just kept on. At sixty, he told me I could never keep up physically, but I could still run with the young guys. When I hit seventy, finally he told me to just keep playing as much as I wanted to." I laughed and said, "How long are you going to play?" He smiled and replied, "Im going to play until I get old."
I like his perspective because really, old is in your mind. Your body may age, but if youll stay young in your heart, itll help your body to age even better. The scripture says that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. This man had the heart of a twenty-five year old physically and mentally. He was always grateful, always happy, always in a good mood. You could tell he wasnt making plans to get old and worn out; he was planning on living out his life joyful, vibrant, and in good health.
Today, I encourage you to examine your outlook on life. Are you making plans to be healthy, strong, and vibrant? Are you making plans to be all that God has called you to be? Remember, your life will go in the direction of your thoughts. It all starts in your mind. Make the decision today to set your mind in the right direction so you can move forward into the destiny God has prepared for you

rose thank you for all the people that are praying for me. The situation in the workplace is still the same but with the help of god i am able to get thru the difficulties that are present there. when i leave i do feel a lot better from the worksite.

Excellent news per the social worker we are getting my baby boy back with by the end of the month.
my wife is still little hesitant at work now she is really thinking about quitting her job.
this does not feel right.
Still working on my daughter.
As for me still having those thaughts, not as bad but still contiplating if i should or shouldnt go out of our my marriage. it is very hard. Women dressing very provacative and talking about what they can do and not do , etc. Please keep praying for me thank you all

good morning my bothers and sisters,i have several request for prayer please. 1st prayer for my foster son to be back with us in tx, we were fostering him in our home back in oceanside and my company was closing its doors and had to relocate to Dallas, TX, and we were not able to bring him with us, so on May 17, 2010 is the court date to see if we get him back to our loving family and home, Social worker states possiblilty we might be put up for adoption, which means he might not come back to us,and the babies own family does not want him. So please Pray for that . 2nd my lovely wife is struggling with work and no one is listending to her she feels all alone and we pray together and leave it in the hands of our Lord and savior, and i now we should wait for him , but my wife is ready to walk out and i totally will back her up on this, please pray for her, my 12 yr old daughter is starting to use foul language at home and school and is hanging out with the wrong crowd, he have put a stop to this, but i want her to keep straight in the eye of Jesus Christ like she was back in Oceanside. Now myself, i have steered away a from the Lord, i still believe in him and he has provided so much for us, thank you. But i am not walking straight i have not read my bible, have not kept him in pray i have lusted after other woman , have not gone to the pronography and dont plan too, I want my heart to be pure again and to always rely on God, I am scared that i cannot provide for my family, i have thought on cheating on my wife and at times divorcing her, but i lover her so much and i know she loves me too. Lea I want to thank everyone who is praying, I pray that God blesses you and answers all your prayers as well. I can tell you that it is working, my boyfriend has committed to working on his weaknesses and his friends are following him. I didnt have to nag him, push him or threaten him; he did it on his own. I just mentioned my concern and he just decided on his own and started walking it. I knew it was God and all your prayers going up for us. Part of me thought it would be difficult but I just kept my compassion for him and his friends and when he told me today what he is doing I knew it was God and all the prayer warriors. Thank you!!! I really needed the help. As for myself I am gaining strength everyday and not suppressing who i am in Christ. God is Good! Please keep us in your prayers we have jumped a major hurdle I know he will give his life to Jesus in God timing and again thank you.

Doctors werent sure how shed pull out of the surgery due to her age. Shes a recent widow, and her children (adults) are taking care of her. Id take care of her but Im sick with bronchitis now. They dont hurt and I am thanking God for that because the pain was unbearable. Its so simple the plan of salvation, but I think some times we try to make it too complicated. It is simple, a child can understand it or someone that is not the smartest person. Thank you Jesus. Kirk Well about 5 weeks ago my girlfriend and I broke up, which is not fun, but it has helped the both of us. We went through some rough times with talking behind each others backs, which we got straightened out thankfully! Now we still talk and are friends, but we both are seeking God a lot more than when we were together. I know personally God has helped me with patience, waiting, and not worrying about what will happen in my future with girls! God is GREAT and he uses you in many ways! I am thankful for how He has taken care of me through everything!

Chalsea Lord plz set my brother Kirk free from the evil, sinful thoughts that are plaquing his mind. Give him the victory in those areas where he once struggled! You said in Your Word that You would not make the desires so strong that we couldnt resist them, so Father plz give him the self will to let go and the determination that he will NEVER have to deal w/this problem again! And bless him for his humbleness to admit that he has a problem and that only YOU can deliver him. Amen!

Nikki Lastnight God met me at church. After the sermon we had an opportunity to pray and ask Him to guide us this week to "love your neighbor as yourself" in doing this I got the opportunity to ask His forgiveness for not only everything that was going on recently but for everything else. I have recently developed feelings for a friend of mine whom I met at church, the problem is he is married. If that wasnt bad enough I am really good friends with his wife. I have been having these dreams about acting on these feelings and also about telling his wife. In reality I am afraid that if I do confess I will lose both of these friends. What should I do? Restored10 Thank you guys for your prayers and they were answered. She went home a few days ago and is doing well. It looks like there will be no need for a pacemaker at this point and her heart is doing better. Thank you again C28 family!!

I am recently married and the relationship has been very difficult, a lot of ups and downs. I want everything to be good for us, but it seems like there is always a problem. He has anger problems and he has a very bad and hurtful habit of breaking up with me whenever hes angry. He has lied to me many times before and left me. He had an issue with pornography that I recently found out about. We have issues with intimacy (to keep it brief). We have financial problems (we dont really have any money right now and hes bad with money he wastes money he doesnt have on designer clothes he doesnt need; he only wears designer clothes). I have a tendency to just have these nervous breakdowns and start yelling if Im very frustrated, and he hates that. We need God to be #1 in our marriage. Howard Its OK to just let Go. GOD doesnot Want YOU TO suffer, Daily. If he doesnt like Church, makes up bible opinions what the bible says, he is hurting you spirtully,mentally,emotionally and your general well being . GOD will forgive YOU. Kasey Thanks everyone for praying for me. :) I wasnt expecting that many responses. I have been doing a lot better thanks to God. I havent given into temptation in well over a week. I know that doesnt sound like a long time, but I feel a lot more confident and Im still leaning on God to help me. Once again, thanks for praying. :)

trueblue84 Ive struggled with this before. God will guide you. Its best to remove any temptation. Block things out. Reject any impure thoughts in Jesus name. Fill it with Gods word and good images.

b n Thank you so much for everyones prayers! Praise God! My tax money came in much earlier and Ive had about 38 hours a week at work. So, we have the money we need for our trips. Also Jon and I have gotten calls from family and friends asking if we want to help out in community projects and speak at churchs. We are so excited to see what God has in store for us. :)

Raquel Thank you all so much for praying for me. The answer to my prayer is to wait and have faith. God assured me that He will take care of my situation and to not worry about it. I gained this assurance a few days ago. It was today that was so exciting! I was asking the Lord when am I going to see Him working in my financial situation...like when will I start seeing results? Later on today I received an acceptance letter for this paid-internship that Ive been longing for. It was like a slap in the face for me doubting God. But today my faith was renewed and I praise Him!

And God revealed great truths to him through the verse that said "you must be born of water and the spirit otherwise you can not enter the kingdom of heaven." I need prayer to become a better student. Right now I have the mentality that nothing is worth learning if its not about God. I keep thinking about Colossians 3:23-24 to encourage myself that all that I do I have to work at it with all of my heart as if Im serving God but that still hasnt pushed me to actually study for my classes and do my work like I should. Lately I havent been making the best grades and its not that the work is too hard its just that I dont see the point of learning about what my professors are teaching. I want to say that it is a spirit of laziness but its not that Im lazy but I dont want to do work for classes i feel are pointless. I would much rather be taking a disciple ship class or a class about the Bible or something. I know God wants the glory out of everything I do so please be in prayer for me to strive for excellence in all areas of my life to please God!

My mom told me that when I was a lot younger that I had a M.R.I. done on me before. She said that the doctors found nothing wrong with me and that it would probably go away soon. It never did. So, please just pray that the doctors will be able to find what is wrong so that we can find a way to make it all go away. Thank you and God Bless you!
