Brandon I would like to ask for prayer. Im in the Air Force stationed in Okinawa, Japan. I would like to ask for prayer for the men and women stationed here that God will give them wisdom, comfort, and guidence for the NCOs all the way to the President during this time as it is greatly needed. North Korea is a real threat right now and I know there is going to be people who are scared. I would also like prayer for my church here Neighborhood Church and its missionary pastors, Pastor Wes and Carol Mathis and Pastor Christian and Leah Siangco. Just pray for wisdom for them and that they will be able to get the support from churches in the states and that the church grows more. Its been growing a lot the last few months as more people are coming to Okinawa and weve outgrown our parking lot. I would personally like to ask for prayer for me at work as being around people that talk about sex, beer, swear constantly, and question my faith on a regular basis. I would like to have the words to say when they do question me and most of the time dont. Being around them talk about the other things make me tempted but I havent faultered. Pray that I have the strength to stand up to them and answer the tough questions that the have and the knowledge of the Bible needed to bring them to Christ. The friends and relationships sort of goes hand in hand. I have made some awesome friends here and 1 is an amazing girl who has everything that the Bible says to look for in a wife and Id love to date her but I know Im not in the best place with God right now. Im working so hard on changing that and getting over these addictions that are holding me back. Ive never felt more convicted to be a better person and a better servent of God until I met her. I also want to take leave and go on a missions trip sometime this year so I pray that God will show me where he wants me and that I will be able to save up enough money for the trip as I dont get payed really anything. I would like to thank you in advance for any prayers that I recieve from anyone. I know this is a lot to pray for but man I am just so convicted right now to change my life and be a better person!

Deborah A friend of mine is going through a custody battle with his ex. His ex is accusing him of physically hurting the child. Hes gone through many trials for almost 10 yrs. Hes a "lost" Christian with a broken heart. My sisters and I have been praying for him and his children. Good father? yes! Good provider? yes! Abusing father? NO!! Ive seen him with his children and they have such a loving bond with each other. Hes hoping to have "full custody". Hes deep in financial debt with court fees that he hasnt been able to enjoy life. Praying that the Lord will give him encouragement, faith, wisdom, direction, and hope.

John Me and my wife made the decision to put our children in a Christian school 2 years ago. We have been doing our best to make ends meet but the tuition leaves only $6.50 left every month after the bills are paid leaving nothing for emergencies or any repair. I ask for prayer for us to have wisdom and understanding to do what is right for our kids and our family and that God will lead us in that direction. Yahaira I need prayer for my dad. He had a major stroke which has left him a quadriplegic. He cannot speak, move, feel us holding his hand or eat. He has to communicate by blinking yes or no. I know that God can heal him and it will be a long road with a lot of therapy. But God performs miracles everyday and I know that God will use my dad as a testimony.

Lucy I need prayer for strength to walk the path that God has called us all to walk, close to His word. Charlotte My 72 year old husband, Wally, is in the Vets Home as a result of Alzheimers Disease. Both of my parents died of the disease. Mother died of pneumonia and Dad starved to death. When Wally was able to still communicate, he used to say how he prayed the Lord would take him anyway other than starvation. He has reached a point where he is not that interested in eating and drinking is becoming an issue. My prayer is that the Lord will take him before starvation sets in. Would you please agree with us on this request. He no longer knows who we are, cant do anything for himself and is waiting for the Lord to take him home where he once again will be a whole man. Im trying my hardest, but she has been there for almost ten years, and I have been there for six months, and I still have questions. But I dont know if Ill get it done on time, and then also be able to do homework/quizzes and tests by friday. I dont sleep well in the first place, and I just feel worn. Father, it’s apparent that Elena has a lot going on in her life and we pray that You would bless her with a strength to get things done. I noticed this morning that I had a lump on the side of my neck. Actually I cant see it, but somehow I felt it. Its a soft kind of lump, no pain, but its starting to worry me. I think I may have felt it some weeks ago, I dont know I just ignored it and thought it was apart of my neck, lol. I dont have health insurance and that worries me. And I still have huge bills from a hospital stay when I was sick back in 2009. I guess Ill give it a week or two, do some research and see how long this lump lasts, if it gets bigger or begins to hurt... Please just be praying for me. Thanks.

One of my best friends is putting on a benefit concert to raise money for the Children In The Son foundation. This concert is part of her high school senior project and I know she has been stressing out lately! I would love for everyone to pray for her and this concert. Pray that we have an awesome turn out, a decent amount of donations, and that we touch as many people as possible that night. The concert is at Quest Fellowship in Clayton NC if anyone is interested in stopping by. It is on October 20th at 6pm! They called me back today and asked if I could come in again tomorrow for some testing and then again on Friday to do a second interview. Im stressed to the max trying to make a better life for my kids.

My fiance, Justin, recently started attending Adelphia Bible College and is having trouble receiving finances for the school year. He wants to be able to have the courses he takes accredited, which costs more per term. He already has scholarship and donation money, but it is just not enough to be able to pay the extra fee. I have been praying that God will provide for him in some way but its getting closer and closer to where hell have to make the decision to not receive ministry credits for the courses. Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you!

My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

April My husband has stage 3 testicular cancer. 70% cure rate is what they say. He started chemotherapy on October 1st and has been a superhero through it all! No sickness, only fatigue. I try to keep everything in Gods control as I know He made me specifically for this man I call my soul mate. Continue to pray I keep all faith in Jesus and that my husband kicks cancers behind!! :)

I have been going to college online, and I love the classes; but I have been having trouble communicating with the financial aid department. They keep telling me that if I dont get certain documents in on time, then theyll kick me out. While I have gotten the documents turned in, the stress of going through this whole process is overwhelming. I now get frequent headaches, even when i go to my e-mail, because Im worried that they will send me another warning note. Kevin Father, keep Jessica. Although spasms cause these things but may we be decisive that The Lord is our strength. Moses had spasms too escorting 100,000 complaintants through a desert and yet. God kept him. He complained himself but still God kept him. My father works in mysterious ways. Pray His will be done. His ways are higher than our ways and His thought higher as well.

Hello, my daughter Aurora was just diagnosed with a very large Atrial Septal Defect and a first degree heart block. Long story short, she has a hole in the wall seperating the two chambers of her heart. She is getting too much oxygen rich blood going into her lungs and it is making them and her heart work extra. While right now it is not affecting her, it will begin to the longer time goes on. If left untreated, her life span will be cut short. We have been informed the only solution is open heart surgery. The suggested time to do so is this November or early Dec. She is only right now 19 months old. We are absolutely devastated and heart broken. My husband is having a really hard time dealing with as he also just lost his Mom unexpectantly last week, she was found dead in her sleep at home by his step brother. Two days later we got our daughters diagnosis. Please pray that God will heal our baby and if surgery is still needed for the healing, that He will be there the whole time and pull her through. Im so scared of losing her, we wont be able to handle it. She is such a joy. Her name suits her well as it means dawn and light, and she truly is a light. Everywhere I go she makes people smile and they just love her. I waited a very long time for her. Also, we just went through our other daughters major surgery last year as she had major back surgery. Both my girls were born with congenital birth defects. I need help coping with this and understanding why this happened. Thank you and God bless.
