Gemy Hello(: Its been a really long time since Ive posted a prayer request here. Probably because I lost my faith. D: Maybe there is a bit more, because Im asking for your help here. But Im just VERY confused right now. Some of my friends told me that it isnt an overnight thing and it will certainly take time. But thats something else: What if there isnt much time left? We all know that the end of the world is pretty near. The fact that Im scared of it make me a lot more scared because my teacher said that if you are scared of the end of age, you are not saved. I want to be saved. I want to believe in God because I love Him. But whats happening is: I want to believe in God because I want to be saved from the End of the World. AND. What scares me most is the fact that I dont think I can accept Jesus as my Lord Savior because Im not sure if he even actually existed. DDD: And I found some (mean) verses in the bible. Like Deut. 22:13-22. Please explain? (: This march, Im having a major operation (Double curve, 50 degrees Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis) and Im hoping it would be successful. What if something bad happens? Im not being negative, Im being realistic. And also my education. Because of my operation, the school is letting me take more work so that I can cope up with the things i will miss. It pressures me and usually triggers my epileptic migraine. The school knows about this, so they are helping me with it, which is really nice of them. But please also pray for my health(: Thank you for reading something this long. Please help me. Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

Kyle My Grandpa is on on a breathing tube because his heart stopped and his lungs are full of fluid and my dad doesnt think he can last much longer but there is a surgery the doctors are going to try to help but he could die on the table and I very sure that he doesnt know Christ and neither does my dad.

eve My Father Rudy Favela has been addicted to alcohol for 40 yrs. Found a program willing to help, Trying to get him to choose/try it. Sabine Since we moved into our home about 7 months ago, we have become friends with out neighbors. Their son loves playing with my children and we often look after him when they need help. The wife is east Indian and of Seek religion. But recently the opportunity has come up after all of this time that she is interested in knowing about Christianity. This is because her son who is 5 years old, is displaying a lot of jealousy, disrespect and self destructive behavior. Just recently I heard him saying things like "everyone hates me "and "I want to get hit by a car". She sees how my children behave and want her child to bee the same. I tell her that I raise them up using my teaching from Christ. Please pray for me that God will use me to help them and bring them them all to Christ.

Sabine I feel that ever since I found Jesus, my life has become a battle against the Devil. He has been working in my husband who is unsaved, my friends ( old ones unsaved) all new ones have turned out to be Christians, my family (all unsaved). Rejection, isolation, slander and terrible acts have come against me non stop. It seems the more I walk with Jesus the more it comes against me. I had no friends for a few years after I had children but I prayed about it and God has sent me wonderful people in my life. Despite this my ex best friend of many years has been trying to destroy all my work connections in my modeling. I am starting the path of learning how to act for the past two years now - she already knows all the casting directors in the city and is trying to sabotage my chances wherever I go. I know when she has influenced others because they are so different with me. She tells people that "I think I am so holy". Its easy for her to do this since all the people we know are either gay and or non Christian. I ask for someone to pray that she will cease trying to destroy me in my line of work and to people. I dont have her ability to win friends and influence people (her favorite book.) which I told her is very evil. I honestly think that something in her hates me and Jesus in me. My Christianity bothered her soooo much. But when she couldnt snare me with deliberate acts of trying to offend me while we were friends, she just one day started avoiding any contact with me. The next time I saw her I was left with a horrible sick feeling in my stomach for days. Then she told me that I have changed and that I am crazy (she was so full of hatred). All of this took place over two years ago and is still affecting my work because she does not stop .Please pray for her that she will come to know Jesus and that any evil working in her will be bound through the name Jesus. Please pray that my husband will come to know Christ and be baptized. The same goes for the rest of my family and in-laws. Pray for me that God will use me for his purpose wherever and whatever I am doing, and that he will turn all my curses into blessings, in Jesus name.

Shell'a S First off I want to thank you for taking the time out to look at my prayer request. I would like to thank God first and formost for all the amazing blessings he has given me. I am thankful for everything I have, for because of God it is all possible. My prayer request is.. I would love for you guys to pray that I continue to recieve my blessing, pray for my family, and friends, that they get directed in the right direction, in Gods direction. I pray that God watches over my brothers and sisters, my parents, my siblings, my family of God. I pray that God rebukes the negative words, actions, people, and thoughts out of my life. And keeps me involves with and surrounded with annointed people of God. Friends that keep me on the right track and keep me involved with the Lord. I pray that God keeps all jelous and anger away from me. I remember reading in my prayer book that "Anger is dangerous, but jelousy is even worse." I tend to find myself being very jelous and insecure about very little things. Thats something that changes my mood and my personality on a daily basis. And I asking for prayer about that. Elena I would like someone to agree with me in prayer for the salvation of my 3 young adult children (2 sons and a daughter), all of whom at one point were believers, but were drawn away, the youngest on (18 yrs) just very recently changed. The enemy now has a hold on one of them with alcohol addiction, one with pot use, and the third with pot and other addictions. I would like prayer for their salvation and freedom from the enemys grasp.

Linda sarah I am married to a non believer its very hard I was not a very strong christian when I married him. I did not realize how much I would have to suffer. I would advise you to keep praying for his man share the gospel with him if possible even if he gets mad and then find a christian man ask God to help you find him, because you can not change his man by your example God will and can but you would be better off with someone else. sorry but this man will drag you down I was told his about my husband and did not listen now I wish I had God bless you

Joe I need help building a relationship with God. I find it hard to make him my priority. I want him to be in my life everyday not just a once-a-week thing. I dwell on my past too much and feel like God wouldnt have a relationship with me. I keep falling and its hard to get back up. I dont want to keep sinning and I need help so God can change my HEART. Brittany Long request short(ish), my unsaved father has been suffering with trigeminal neuralgia (basically severe nerve pain in the face) for years. He has been prescribed many medications some have given him terrible side effects and others have ceased being effective. The severity of this problem varies throughout the year. I have prayed and cried out to God until I had no more tears to shed or energy to waste. When I get excited that my dad is healing and I praise God it seems like right after his pain is back. I have posted this request on multiple sites, my church family has prayed and I cant help but feel like God wants my Dad to suffer and that just doesnt sit right with me. Spiritually I know that doesnt make sense but the human side of me is at times resentful. Like if I had a child and I saw them in pain I would help them without thinking twice. When my dad groans in pain just from taking a bite of food I find myself looking up thinking, "SERIOUSLY GOD?!" As if hes dangling my dads pain in front of me and again I understand it doesnt make sense and I dont want to feel that way. I just wish a miracle could happen so that maybe my dad could see it and believe God loves him and is real. But why should he have any beliefs? If he knew how much he was prayed for and saw it being ineffective it would just solidify his unbelief. Thoughts of my dad dying from TN or complications surrounding treatment terrify me because hed be going to hell and I would know that God could have done something when he didnt no matter how many prayers were sent. So please, pray for my dads spiritual and physical healing and pray for me also as this whole thing puts me on an emotional and spiritual roller coaster.

Sheryl I havent received an answer yet, however, I want to thank you all so very much for your much needed prayers. I will continue to pray for your staff and for all the wonderfull things you have done. Not only do you have your fulfillments to do at your office, the missionary work you do and all the otheer things that are to numerous to write about, but you still have the intimate pleasure of doing so many other duties, which in itself is amazing how you manage it, but you also answer peoples questions. It gives me shivers down my spine just knowing that there stil are people with the Holy Spirit working in them and showing you all how to be witness for Christ Jesus. Just pray that the Lord truely convicts her, and that she doesnt wait any longer to give her life to Him.

Mia Thank you all for your prayers! God is truly working in my sons life. He has such peace in his heart. God is using him to minister to others and hes leading daily morning prayers...THANK YOU JESUS! Please continue to pray for my son, that the Lord will continue to use him to bring others to Jesus. I just got laughed at in my face, by someone who was once close to me, i asked him for forgiveness and i said i forgave him for what he had done to me, we have both done hurt to each other, but i seem to be the one who was wrong and he is not to blame for anything. although he hurt me and used me i forgive him and i still love him. hes not a believer, so when he heres me speak of God, he thinks im crazy. i know im doing the right thing by asking for forgiveness and forgiving him, it makes me a bit sad to know that it is funny to him, but i also gotta remember that he does not know God as i do. I ask you to pray for this brother, may he find Jesus in his life before it is to late. May he find it in his heart to forgive me as well.

Reagan So today I was talking to my Buddhist friend that I was telling yall about last week. I asked him how he liked school and he said Bible was going to be his hardest because he didnt understand anything. So I told him that anytime he needed help I would be here and he really appreciated it! I then asked him if he would like a Bible. He said he would love one, so I went out and bought him one. He said he would pay me back and I said no because I love giving people stuff.
Thanks for the prayers! Please keep praying I really appreciate! Its opened up a lot of doors!

He is Buddhist and lives in a Buddhist monasteryand today I got to share Jesus with him! Someone told him that he could get the Bible in Thai and he sounded interested. So now Im trying to find him one...so hard! So I would love for yall to pray with me and for him that everything will go well!

URGENT! Please pray for my grandmother, Joan. She has COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), and pneumonia, and they just did a temporary procedure placing a stent in her heart valve. They are hoping in doing this she will be able to gain enough strength to do a permanent surgery replacing the heart valve. Right now she is TOUCH AND GO. Somewhat stable, but the next 24 hours are crucial. Please pray for her healing and most importantly for Salvation for her! She really needs the prayers. Shes been in ICU since July 20th. Thank you!

My brothere had cancer throughout his whole body not just his lungs and the latest report from the doctor is all the cancer is gone from his bones Praise the Lord!! Aggie Well, am writing about my prayer request i made a few weeks back. I have two friends who are in the process of coming to Christ so we need to pray more. my past still lives with me but not so much, i just cant forgive myself for having ignored Christ for that long. My lecturer is trying to work on my proposal but he is still hesitant. Am still keeping my pledge and everyday i find reasons to keep it more than ever. Am getting strong in Christ and every time i thing of something, i talk to him first if he thinks the same way too or ask him for his opinion, he always answers in his own ways but i know its him. Heidi Aden Update: The Doctors have finally figured out what was causing the weakness in Adens legs! It is something called Guillain-Barre syndrome. They have started treatment and my brother says Adens legs are getting loads better and that he is about 70% of what he use to be. It may take a while but he should make a full recovery. Praise God! Siri My son made it through the surgical procedure without any complications - praise God! Thank you everyone for your prayers! He is in ICU overnight (at OHSU in Portland, Oregon) and will need a follow-up cerebral angiogram in 6 months to see whether or not the problem is "cured." I am still hoping and praying for his salvation....

Derrick God is molding me daily...and if you check out my recent thread "hii this is how im doing!=)" Nd i am soo hyype i no longer stay on the computer that long or even have a desire to stay up late on the computer or tv....but my nights are now spent listening to Gods voice as i lay in my bed talking to him. Nd my morinings are spent mostly meditating on Gods word and talking to him. Dont get me wrong. Its a process and God has moved one mountain out of my life now i am waiting for God to help me overcome lust of girls and guys that i see when i walk in the street. I need a lot of prayer and help. Honestly it is a miracle the fact that i am typing on this website. I have been struggling with an addiction with pornography. Well i wouldnt say struggling because God has already delievered me i just keep acting stupid and going back please pray that GOd will restore my faith and i will grow closer to him. Nd my computer is really messing up. Because of this porn mess. I no longer have an intrest on going back to those sites...God has healed my heart and i have such a disgust for sin. Its 3:00 in the morning and i have been on the computer since twelve...and i was trying to watch this movie called preachers kid....its a christian movie rather then beeing on some porn website. I am really emotional right now because i am fighting this sin. and i am also trying to guard my heart and check it to to make sure i am not on a performance tredmill with God but rather i am staying humble and holding onto the cross. Please pray that i will let go of my idolatry of beyonce and my love and pull to want to listen to secular music. Thank you. God bless please agree with me =)

Just heard some devastating news this afternoon! My 47 yr old cousin announced that she was diagnosed with 1st stage breast cancer. Shes the 1st in the family to have it! She had her biopsy and I think surgery, and is now scheduled for chemo this week! She has a VERY POSITITVE attitude on this. She said she did her crying and her studying and is ready for treatment since she has the drive to live longer. She also found out that one of her best friends was also diagnosed with it (stage and her name unknown). So the two are going thru treatment together. Will you please join me, my family, and her friends to pray for Lorraine and her friends recovery?

Sarah God is faithful. Leah, Ericka, and Marlena are slowly coming around. God has been using my friend to speak to them about forgiveness. Also, I have found some answers that I have been able to share, and so I think they are coming around here. Obviously abuse is painful, and the road ahead will not be easy for them. With Gods help, they can do it, and I really want to thank you all for praying for them.
Brandon is still having issues, but he is currently relatively stable, I think. I can tell that something is still bugging him, but hes out of the hospital (he was admitted for suicidal tendencies). Please continue to pray for him.
