I prayed last night to god that I could quit.Well today I fell into temptation again and bought a pack and its caused alot of problems with my mom and stepdad. Linda sarah I am married to a non believer its very hard I was not a very strong christian when I married him. I did not realize how much I would have to suffer. I would advise you to keep praying for his man share the gospel with him if possible even if he gets mad and then find a christian man ask God to help you find him, because you can not change his man by your example God will and can but you would be better off with someone else. sorry but this man will drag you down I was told his about my husband and did not listen now I wish I had God bless you

Joe I need help building a relationship with God. I find it hard to make him my priority. I want him to be in my life everyday not just a once-a-week thing. I dwell on my past too much and feel like God wouldnt have a relationship with me. I keep falling and its hard to get back up. I dont want to keep sinning and I need help so God can change my HEART. Cynthia My son-in-law lost his job last month, and though it has drawn him closer to the Lord, the strain on my daughter, with a baby and no income coming in, is overwhelming her. On top of that, my husband signed for the loan for their car, which we are now responsible to pay since they cant, so our finances are also hurting. Please pray for a good job for my son-in-law and peace for my daughter, as well as provision for both families.

Robert Three years ago my wife of 13 years, and mother of our six year old boy (six at the time) went through a dark period and possibly a mid-life crisis. She did things that were ungodly and not wife-like. I overcame that, but she couldnt but she couldnt and she divorced me a year ago. We are still in daily communication and committed to our son. I have kept our communication open and have tried to be an example of acting Christ like, with forgiveness and showing love. She knows she is wrong, but is struggling with feeling that closeness to God. I have two prayer requests. it is very difficult at times to not be bitter and I could use some prayers to keep me strong in those times, to keep my focus on God and not circumstance. Also, for her, she is struggling with our enemy and needs to come back to being committed to God and our family.

Brittany Long request short(ish), my unsaved father has been suffering with trigeminal neuralgia (basically severe nerve pain in the face) for years. He has been prescribed many medications some have given him terrible side effects and others have ceased being effective. The severity of this problem varies throughout the year. I have prayed and cried out to God until I had no more tears to shed or energy to waste. When I get excited that my dad is healing and I praise God it seems like right after his pain is back. I have posted this request on multiple sites, my church family has prayed and I cant help but feel like God wants my Dad to suffer and that just doesnt sit right with me. Spiritually I know that doesnt make sense but the human side of me is at times resentful. Like if I had a child and I saw them in pain I would help them without thinking twice. When my dad groans in pain just from taking a bite of food I find myself looking up thinking, "SERIOUSLY GOD?!" As if hes dangling my dads pain in front of me and again I understand it doesnt make sense and I dont want to feel that way. I just wish a miracle could happen so that maybe my dad could see it and believe God loves him and is real. But why should he have any beliefs? If he knew how much he was prayed for and saw it being ineffective it would just solidify his unbelief. Thoughts of my dad dying from TN or complications surrounding treatment terrify me because hed be going to hell and I would know that God could have done something when he didnt no matter how many prayers were sent. So please, pray for my dads spiritual and physical healing and pray for me also as this whole thing puts me on an emotional and spiritual roller coaster.

Tracie We are still in the process of adoption but we have had a change of heart and will be doing foster to adopt...please pray that if/when we get these children that we can be a good Godly presece in their life. Pray for my parents and I, that God would reveal His will about whether or not He would like us to stay here or move closer to my sister. I pray that the Lord would reveal His will for me about Bible College. Im positive that He wants me to go and become a missionary in another country. But my finances make it seem so impossible and sometimes I just feel so alone in this. Elena Thank you for your prayers and sorry for the late update. Kimberly had passed away this past summer. Of course it was hard on her friends and family, but they continued to look to the Lord for comfort. She knew Jesus and so that also gave them peace, she is now with her creator and is suffering no more. Thank you again, God bless :)

Please just pray that I would get out of this state of being lazy. I know its a small thing compared to what a lot of people are going through. But Id really appreciate it! I struggle with depression and I dont know if that is the problem or its just pure laziness, idleness or whatever. All I know is that I should be doing something else instead of staying up late, waking up late, and getting nothing done during the day. Im very health conscious, but lately I just dont care and my flesh has just been very weak in general. It seems that things keep happening, so that I cant make it to church. I know that I can listen online, but I never do! Im not where I want to be at spiritually and I feel like I am missing out at church. I want to get back into volunteer cleaning at my church, but I have to wake up so early! Its that or I dont have enough gas in the car or my dad has doctors appointments (we only have one car), or me just being too tired. I would like to connect with more people my age in my church, but I have terrible social anxiety and I feel like it pushes everyone away. Pray for the Lord to send me someone who will help me break down these walls! Thank you so so much! Blessings.

I need prayer to be more motivated in life. I have a lot of things Ive fell behind in and Im overwhelmed, pray that I get things done! Also, please pray for my parents health and safety. I worry about them a lot, especially my Dad. I need to spend more time with them. Im supposed to help them get their place together, but Ive procrastinated with that too :( I have job applications to be done, college application, people to get back to and I also need to get my own stuff together since I moved. I am living in a pigsty! Im self employed and right now Im paying out of my own pocket so I need to change that. There is just so much to do! I dont know if anything will ever get done! I would appreciate your prayers! Thank you :)

Clint Lucas Williams Father in heaven, we lift up Elena and her need of motivation. Father, it’s apparent that Elena has a lot going on in her life and we pray that You would bless her with a strength to get things done. Remind her of Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” We pray that You would free her of the burden’s she is carrying and allow her to find clarity so that she would be able to honor You to a greater degree. We pray for her parent’s health. We pray that You would bless Elena with the time to help them get their place together. Ive been struggling with a lot of anxiety issues. It really affects me and I am so afraid of what people think because of the way I act. My anxiety makes me irritable and depressed because it takes a lot out of me to be social and to just be around a group of people. Especially those I dont know or feel comfortable around. Vanessa Hi Elena, Praying that the Lord would guide you to the right Christian counselor or pastor to help you work through this rough patch. I know how you feel as I have battled depression and social anxiety before. God can and will help you through this! Keep looking up.?

I noticed this morning that I had a lump on the side of my neck. Actually I cant see it, but somehow I felt it. Its a soft kind of lump, no pain, but its starting to worry me. I think I may have felt it some weeks ago, I dont know I just ignored it and thought it was apart of my neck, lol. I dont have health insurance and that worries me. And I still have huge bills from a hospital stay when I was sick back in 2009. I guess Ill give it a week or two, do some research and see how long this lump lasts, if it gets bigger or begins to hurt... Please just be praying for me. Thanks.

Stefanie Thanks for everyone that committed to pray. The benefit concert my friend hosted was a success. Things didnt run as smoothly as we would have hoped and we could have had more people come out but in the end we raised around $1000 to go towards the Children In the Son organization!

One of my best friends is putting on a benefit concert to raise money for the Children In The Son foundation. This concert is part of her high school senior project and I know she has been stressing out lately! I would love for everyone to pray for her and this concert. They called me back today and asked if I could come in again tomorrow for some testing and then again on Friday to do a second interview. Please pray that I can have the strength, confidence, and wisdom to get this job. I am a single mom, struggling for my kids, and finding a job is hard with this economy. Im stressed to the max trying to make a better life for my kids.

My fiance, Justin, recently started attending Adelphia Bible College and is having trouble receiving finances for the school year. He wants to be able to have the courses he takes accredited, which costs more per term. He already has scholarship and donation money, but it is just not enough to be able to pay the extra fee. My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

Joseph Its not over yet, however, she called me to tell me that she went to church Wednesday night, which is an answer to prayer and also the "person of bad influence" has been separated from her, possible for a long, long time. thank you to all who have taken time in your life to lift her up in prayer. April My husband has stage 3 testicular cancer. 70% cure rate is what they say. He started chemotherapy on October 1st and has been a superhero through it all! No sickness, only fatigue. I try to keep everything in Gods control as I know He made me specifically for this man I call my soul mate. Continue to pray I keep all faith in Jesus and that my husband kicks cancers behind!! :)
