Thirst Ok, so this is a long story but well worth the time. Its also all completely true, which is incredible now that I recount it, but then, God is incredible. I have a friend named Ben, whos a soldier for the British army, a veteran by any account, very experienced at the young age of 27. Hes traveled all over the world in his duties, including Saudi Arabia (and has used his experience to be a huge help for my future career of being a missionary). While in Saudi Arabia he met one of the princesses there, and the two fell in love. However, due to she being a Saudi Arabian princess and him being a British soldier, they would have both died if her father didnt approve, and he didnt. So they broke it off to keep each other safe. This all happened a couple years ago. Today, Ben told me he recently found out she was getting engaged in two weeks, through her sister e-mailing him. The gist of it was "Nobody likes the guy, and shes still in love with you (Ben)." So Ben is taking a bit of leave to make his case to the princesss father before the engagement happens. Im asking that you pray for him to succeed and that God wills for the two of them being together, and of course that they both come to know Christ through this relationship. I fear for Ben if God does not will this to succeed, so I also ask that should this not happen, Ben finds peace without committing suicide, and that his heart is healed. I care about this man a lot, hes one of my closest friends and I appreciate any prayer support you guys can give, for this incredibly true story. Finally, I ask simply that the Lords will be done, as He knows better than any of us. Thank you guys

Senzy My fiance and I have been engaged for more than two years now. At first he lost his job and couldnt save for the bride price. We prayed and waited until he got a job earlier this year but the job doesnt pay enough to even save a little. He can only pay for transport and rent and it keeps getting cut. Last week his room was broken into his belongings were stolen. Its like all the negative things are happening to him, to us now and it steals our joy and hope of making it to marriage.what we are asking for is for him to get a good job that pays him well enough to pay lobola and to get married soon.

D A lot of my friends, including my best friend, are really into a blasphemous webcomic called Homestuck. The comic as based around zodiacs, witchcraft, and characters becoming gods, among many other evil themes. My friends dress up and mimic the demonic-in-appearance characters. I really need them to see the true light of the Lord and that the comic is evil and stop their obsession with it. This comic has caused quite a few fights between my friends and I, and among them, and these fights need to end.

Grant I would like for you all to pray for my best mate, Peter Glynn. He lives in Victoria, Australia. He is lost and in the wilderness, metaphorically. I ask you to join me in praying that the veil is lifted from him and that God strikes the enemy from his life. That he can see that he is forgiven and that he only needs to ask for Jesus to come into his heart and that he can be reborn. Andreas I would like if you could help me to pray for one of my best friends. She is pretty broken right now since her boyfriend broke up with her today. She says that she dont want to wake up tomorrow and face the fact that its over so shell probably not even go to sleep tonight (its 0.15 AM over here in Sweden right now). Ive been praying for her the last couple of days since she told me that it was a risk that it would end up this way. Please pray that shell be fine pretty soon and that shell find new strength to carry on. Shes not a christian in that meaning, so please pray that God will show her his neverending love too. Judiann First of all, please pray for our Nation....we are in very troubling times with unemployment, homelessness, hunger, financial woes, healthcare issues, etc. Secondly, please pray for the continued health and healing of my children (blood relative and not), that they may stay healthy, leaving all major health issues behind, that my grandchildren may not inherit the Marfan Syndrome that has attacked my youngest son, Ian. That Erik, my oldest son, may overcome the issues with his eyesight, that the kerataconis will be healed by Jesus and there will be no need for surgery. Lastly, please pray for guidance and wisdom concerning our impending move back to Tennessee. Praying that my health will be better there, as Ive chronicled. Sue I lost my 18 yr old son in a car crash on Jan. 14, 2012. This tragedy has brought me closer to God as He is the source of all my strength and has given me peace beyond ALL my understanding. I wish I could say the same for my husband and older son. They are both very angry with God. I want them to come to church with me and find the peace and comfort Ive been blessed with, but both of them refuse. I pray that God will soften their hearts and that they will look to Him for help in this very difficult time. b n My husband was falsely accused of something at work which led to him being fired. I dont even know where to begin on handling this. There is so much being thrown in our faces and it feels as though the world is out to get us at whatever cost. Im currently 7 months pregnant and both of us are full time students which is making this so much harder. Sharon Please pray for truth to show itself for the Presidential and Vice Presidential debates.Obama is the modern day "Moloch" seemingly no regard for the life of the unborn. He had also opposed a bill allowing failed abortion survivors to be saved. He has expanded Planned Parenthood on the taxpayers dime. He is trying to take away the tax benefits for churches and religious affiliated agencies/schools. He has turned his back/us againest Israel. We are to stand with Israel as per our God. Revelation appears to be unfolding. We need to stand with God and his Word. We his people need to see that His Word, His family, our Family is heard. Stand for the unborn, those born alive and left for dead, for Israel. We need a President whose platform represents Gods platform. There has been no transparency as promised (1.7 million tax dollars spent in legal representation (DOJ) to keep personal documents out of the publics veiwing), the poor numbers dont lie either. Lets hold off the end times-vote. A one world government is on its way (some rights in the hands of the UN), we are monitored, and as we know should we not acept the mark of the beast there will be no goods.Obama had flags made; it was an american flag only his face was placed where the stars were, and the red lines were fainter and broken. He is portraying himself as a God, we have only one. Please pray for truth from the canidates, and the horribly biased media, which seems to be controlled by the President. Stand for our brothers and sisters, our God, the unborn, Israel, the poor, the Christian schools/churches losing and have lost their tax benefits. Its just so very scary.

Lucy My daughter is expecting her first baby in January and her husband just got accepted to medical school. They will have to move from NJ to Virginia by next July. Right now he is the only one working and finances are very tight. Moving means being away from friends and family. With no savings to speak of this is causing my daughter a lot of stress. God has been faithful to our family and I just ask for prayer for them to continue to believe that God will supply all their needs and that my daughter can have peace in her heart about this.

mary we are in a financial struggle that we have never been in before. we have a toddler and can barely provide for her. we have been paying bills late and at a minimum. we were so blessed with our first home in april but the last two months we have been paying mortage late. i know our god is bigger and better then this and doesnt want us to struggle. please pray for strenght and guidance to get through this time as well as a financial miracle and healing.

Rachel I had dated this guy for a year, but I made the difficult decision to end it last week. When I did he was fine at first but then he started calling me non-stop even though I didnt answer. It got to the point where I had to block his number. But before I did he started texting me saying that he was going to kill himself.because he didnt want to live without me, basically threatening to take his life if I didnt get back together with him. Im concerned that he might actually try to harm himself. Im racked with guilt right now because I feel bad for causing him pain and making him go through this. But the relationship was toxic and I had to do whats best for me. Please pray for him. And pray for God to give me strength. Thank you.

Kailey she hasnt been completely healed but she is taking chemo and radiation. The good news is its only in stage 1 and its not in the bone marrow which we thank god for. Thank you everyone 4 praying

She has to take chemo, radiation and some medicine that will make her face puff up. I am really depressed that she has cancer and I have been really down lately since i found out. I just need people to pray thar her cancxer will get healed. The good thing is its only in stage one.

Kim Kailey- I feel your pain my best friend of 20 years lost her Son this last June after battling Leukemia. God is awesome!! He is a God of miracles and I will add her to the prayer chain at my church. Just keep reading the word and pray. God bless you and your family.

My grandma had a seizer this morning and has been in th hospital since about 8 this morning. she has survived one before but it made her diabled, if she survives another one then she will be nothing but a vegtable. If she doesnt well, we all know what that means. Please, shes the only grandma i have left. I would love for her to see me graduate. She means the world to me, I cant imagine a world without her. Please pray that she makes it through without any complications. Thanks, Jenn

sophia Della is out of the hospital after brain surgery. She had the surgery on Tuesday, woke up Wednesday...and was released today. I spoke to her yesterday:)) she sounded great. Thank you for your prayers. To God Be The GLORY!!!

Della, she is 39yrs old and has a brain tumor that is on a main nerve. She had it operated on 6mos ago and it has grown back. She was facing death during surgery and brain damage. Her speech is slow and memory is not the same. The tumor has grown back and drs in Colorado will not perform another surgery. She found dr who will but is in Arizona on May 18th. She had to rent a car because hers was totalled last week, a car with bad breaks ran into them. She is fiancially struggling. Her doctor put her out on medical leave, if she does not get back to work within 6mos she will lose her job. She suffers terrible headaches and is tired much of the time which is unusual for her. She is the only one working, her husband has a back injury. She has a beautiful heart, she moved her mom in and took total care of her when her mom was diagnosed with cancer. Anytime she hears of someone being sick, she makes sure there are people praying for them. She fears leaving her husband, boys, and 3 grandchildren. Please pray for her. Della, she is 39yrs old and has a brain tumor that is on a main nerve. She had it operated on 6mos ago and it has grown back. She was facing death during surgery and brain damage. Her speech is slow and memory is not the same. The tumor has grown back and drs in Colorado will not perform another surgery. She found dr who will but is in Arizona on May 18th. She had to rent a car because hers was totalled last week, a car with bad breaks ran into them. She is fiancially struggling. Her doctor put her out on medical leave, if she does not get back to work within 6mos she will lose her job. She suffers terrible headaches and is tired much of the time which is unusual for her. She is the only one working, her husband has a back injury. She has a beautiful heart, she moved her mom in and took total care of her when her mom was diagnosed with cancer. serena oh hunny, you are so precious to God, and he loves you beyond words. the bible tells us in romans 8:27-30 that the Holy spirit prays for us always beyond words. Another comforting verse is Psalm 34:17-18, it has helped me and reminded me that everything that goes on in my life means everything to the Lord, Jesus cares about every detail in your life sweety. though there are some seasons in life where we go through so much pain, confusion, rejection and fear, we can take comfort in God, he is the same yesterday today and forever. Though circumstances change in our lives, God doesnt. pray that God will open wide the doors he wants open to you, and shut tight the ones he doesnt want you to go through. pray he will reviel this to you. life can be hard but God is MUCH bigger than anything we may encounter :)

sophia For all you who prayed for Della with the brain tumor...thank you! She made it through surgery. The surgery was on Monday, she woke up yesterday..and today I spoke to her on the phone. This was second brain surgery, doctors in Co gave her no hope. Dr in Arizona removed a good portion of the tumor, please continue to pray for a creative miracle. We need this tumor to go away. Also she has a swollen shut bruised eye, and now the other eye has some swelling, so please keep her in your prayers. I do not think she would have made it through surgery if it was not for your prayers. God Bless You All. Thank You C28 for this prayer line.

He also bought a car so he could have transportation to work and someone stole it last week. He is depressed that he has a baby on the way, no job that will support his family, and no car. Rodney Another member of C28 was kind enough to suggested a website, Setting Captives Free. This website has a 60 day program that helps people escape impurity, over-eating, substance abuse, gambling, smoking and more. I cannot believe it, but by the end of day 1 of my 60 day commitment I can already see a difference on how I view my life with Christ and the change I need to make to succeed.

Esther God answers prayer, first I want to thank people that have been praying for me, THANK YOU. Thank you for your commitment. Matt.7:7; I have a temporary job, and I am thankful to God, bc I really was in need of a job. I also want to ask if you continue praying for me bc it is temporary. 12 Comments I used to play basketball with a gentleman who was in his seventies. He was in great shape. He could run up and down the court with the twenty year olds. One day, we were talking and he said, "Joel, its kind of funny. When I was forty, my doctor told me that my knees wouldnt hold up with me playing as much as I do, but I just kept playing. At fifty, my doctor told me my back would start hurting if I kept running and jumping like this. But I just kept on. At sixty, he told me I could never keep up physically, but I could still run with the young guys. When I hit seventy, finally he told me to just keep playing as much as I wanted to." I laughed and said, "How long are you going to play?" He smiled and replied, "Im going to play until I get old."
I like his perspective because really, old is in your mind. Your body may age, but if youll stay young in your heart, itll help your body to age even better. The scripture says that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. This man had the heart of a twenty-five year old physically and mentally. He was always grateful, always happy, always in a good mood. You could tell he wasnt making plans to get old and worn out; he was planning on living out his life joyful, vibrant, and in good health.
Today, I encourage you to examine your outlook on life. Are you making plans to be healthy, strong, and vibrant? Are you making plans to be all that God has called you to be? Remember, your life will go in the direction of your thoughts. It all starts in your mind. Make the decision today to set your mind in the right direction so you can move forward into the destiny God has prepared for you

rose thank you for all the people that are praying for me. The situation in the workplace is still the same but with the help of god i am able to get thru the difficulties that are present there. when i leave i do feel a lot better from the worksite.

Excellent news per the social worker we are getting my baby boy back with by the end of the month.
my wife is still little hesitant at work now she is really thinking about quitting her job.
this does not feel right.
Still working on my daughter.
As for me still having those thaughts, not as bad but still contiplating if i should or shouldnt go out of our my marriage. it is very hard. Women dressing very provacative and talking about what they can do and not do , etc. Please keep praying for me thank you all

good morning my bothers and sisters,i have several request for prayer please. 1st prayer for my foster son to be back with us in tx, we were fostering him in our home back in oceanside and my company was closing its doors and had to relocate to Dallas, TX, and we were not able to bring him with us, so on May 17, 2010 is the court date to see if we get him back to our loving family and home, Social worker states possiblilty we might be put up for adoption, which means he might not come back to us,and the babies own family does not want him. So please Pray for that . 2nd my lovely wife is struggling with work and no one is listending to her she feels all alone and we pray together and leave it in the hands of our Lord and savior, and i now we should wait for him , but my wife is ready to walk out and i totally will back her up on this, please pray for her, my 12 yr old daughter is starting to use foul language at home and school and is hanging out with the wrong crowd, he have put a stop to this, but i want her to keep straight in the eye of Jesus Christ like she was back in Oceanside. Now myself, i have steered away a from the Lord, i still believe in him and he has provided so much for us, thank you. But i am not walking straight i have not read my bible, have not kept him in pray i have lusted after other woman , have not gone to the pronography and dont plan too, I want my heart to be pure again and to always rely on God, I am scared that i cannot provide for my family, i have thought on cheating on my wife and at times divorcing her, but i lover her so much and i know she loves me too. Lea I want to thank everyone who is praying, I pray that God blesses you and answers all your prayers as well. I can tell you that it is working, my boyfriend has committed to working on his weaknesses and his friends are following him. I didnt have to nag him, push him or threaten him; he did it on his own. I just mentioned my concern and he just decided on his own and started walking it. I knew it was God and all your prayers going up for us. Part of me thought it would be difficult but I just kept my compassion for him and his friends and when he told me today what he is doing I knew it was God and all the prayer warriors. Thank you!!! I really needed the help. As for myself I am gaining strength everyday and not suppressing who i am in Christ. God is Good! Please keep us in your prayers we have jumped a major hurdle I know he will give his life to Jesus in God timing and again thank you.

Doctors werent sure how shed pull out of the surgery due to her age. Shes a recent widow, and her children (adults) are taking care of her. Id take care of her but Im sick with bronchitis now. They dont hurt and I am thanking God for that because the pain was unbearable. p e Yes it was. I believe your prayers have brought me to were I am now. I know Im saved!!! and I dont doubt it. Its so simple the plan of salvation, but I think some times we try to make it too complicated. It is simple, a child can understand it or someone that is not the smartest person. Thank you Jesus.
