Veronica One and a half years after moving 3500 miles across the country, my husband, along with 279 other employees were laid off...without notice. Many of his former coworkers are struggling. The majority of them sold everything and packed up their lives to move to another state and start a new life. By the grace of God, we have not been put in a situation where we have to worry or wonder where our next meal will come from or how well pay rent...but unfortunately I cannot say that for everyone else. I ask that you pray with me, that during this trying time those displaced employees find Jesus. That they call upon the Lord and see that can trust Him and lean on Him. I pray that through this, they can grasp an understanding on how much God loves them and how he wants to help them...they just have to let Him in. I pray that everyone affected by this recovers quickly and that depression does not sink in.
I also ask that you pray for my family. My husband does need work, yes. But I pray that the Lord leads us to the place where we can make the most impact for Him. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to pray with me. We appreciate it. God bless you and yours!! :)

Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. josh Thank you Father God for him to confess his faults to you and to us his family in Christ. You tell us to confess our faults one to another and to pray for one another. Thank You Father God for His breaking heart. I pray Lord that you will continue to convict us of all the things we do or dont do that displease You. We thank You for loving us enough to reprove us. I ask You God to please give this brother enough strength to overcome this compulsion and not only him but to any of us who struggle with sexual sins. Crucify our flesh Father God and be merciful to us. Derrick Praise God he is faithful and delivered me once again...WOW and what the enemy meant for evil God is turning around for good. Because now I am able to talk to people in my school they are able to see my struggles and realize that there is nothing to big for God and if they believe they can have not just salvation but the peace,and joy that comes with as well! And one of the scriptures that blessed my life was 1 peter 1:17 & Jeremiah 18:4-16

And I had went to church and this lady who was prophesizing said a word that really touched my life she said "Many christians are giving up dere birth right. Just like Esua did and the devil is saying to dem give up your birthright for sin,anger,lust...." And she was pleading with the church that we would not be foolish like in the story with jacob and esua and how he gave up his birht right for a bowl of lentils and soup. Yet when it came time for Isaac to bless his first born child Esua could not recieve it back even when he came to his father in tears. I also learned that you must cry out to God and God use broken people so that he will get all of the glory

Yet over the weekend I got tempted and had indulged in that temptation....I was watching videos of beyonce and you know in her videos she has a lot of idolatry, lust, and sex in her music and I repented but when I went back to school I started lusting after woman and guys but mostly woman......And Its crazy because before and after i did this i had such a strong conviction from the holy spirit...But why dont I feel washed away from my sins?....Also im not bi-sexual or lesbian or anything I just wanted pleasure and I wasnt really thinking about gender except when I was looking at beyonce....So Please pray for the renewing of my mind and a clean heart. Katie WELL! He has stopped drinking everyday like he used to, and only drinks on the weekends which is a huge improvment from before!!! He says he believes in God and that Jesus was the Son of God, but he doesnt believe anything else in the BIble! he spends most of his nights drinking heavily. He says he believes in God and that Jesus was the Son of God, but he doesnt believe anything else in the BIble! he spends most of his nights drinking heavily. I have been trying to talk to him about these things but he keeps saying that he doesnt think those things in the bible could happen. God is great and can work wonders on him, please pray for him!!!!

Kasey God has worked through this situation and resolved me and my girlfriends arguments. We are now happily together again, and are thankful for the fact that God answered our prayers. Who knows where we will end up in the future, but for now, Im glad that Gods will was for us to be together for now. Its definitely a Jesus-centered relationship. :) Thank you guys for praying.

Darcy Father God, I understand the trials and pain, confusion and many other things that Kasey is describing. And Lord you know where Kasey is at and what needs to be done. So God, I pray that you would guide and direct Kasey and his girlfriend down the right path, That they would continue to both be faithful to you even if they part. She had what you call a "mini stroke". it could have been a full blown stroke if she had not got to the hospital when she did. She got the care she needed and disaster was avoided, Hallelujah!

I have a Masters degree in counseling, and am afraid a lot of employers may think I have too much education for just any job. I am on unemployment, but who knows when that could end. My dream is to move to Los Angeles, CA, but I live on the east coast, and probably a lot of employers wont give me a chance because of my location. Please pray for my grandfather. He had some cancer in his lung, and when they went to take it out, they found more. So they had to take more out which caused him to only have one working lung. So hes recovering from that surgery and they I think are still deciding on what to do next with more cancer being in him. But then he got pneumonia. So now his body is trying to recover from a surgery, he still has cancer in him we think, and hes got pneumonia on top of that. His heart rate has been kind of out of whack too. Hes stronger than most older guys the nurse said, were thankful for that, but hes still old. Theyre not sure if he will make it or not. They were waiting for a "break" for something to happen but last night it got worse, so. Please pray for his healing. His wife is very emotional about it, so are the rest of us, but especially her. Michele Oh gracious Father, You love us so much. It breaks your heart when one of your sheep forgets how special she is and uses her body in a way that does not glorify you. Lord, we ask not for judgement, but for forgiveness for Katies friend. Lord, reveal to her that You are close to her, that you want to be her friend. Im worried about my husbands health he has been working so hard and long trying to catch up on bills he has headaches everyday, Im trying to look for a job to help him out but it is very difficult because I willl have noone to take care of them afterschool. I have been working for the Lord for many years Im a childrens advocate for foster children, all I do is volunteer at church and my childrens school. I dont know what to do anymore Im so deppressed and I dont understand why. It very difficult especially when there is hardly any support system . I pray for justice to be served for my husbands lawsiut , health, protection, finacial and for my family to continue to move forward with the Lord.
