Jonathan Well, for more than 11 years, Ive known this lady and in Decemeber, we finally started to elevate our friendship to beyond that. During this transition, Ive asked friends to pray for me that God would help me be ready for it and to give me the wisdom and guidance to hold it down, because I know what its like me to mess things up due to my comfort in my confidence of not worrying about things falling apart. Lately, Ive sensed some lack of interest since this has been going a little lightly.. some examples could be her acting all germaphobe when I kiss her on the cheek or put my arm around her... and let me stop in the middle of this to just point out that in Brooklyn, most Christians in relationships are usually NOT the most conservative in case thats what some reading may be thinking first hand before they can even understand my point.... Other recent examples were me texting her I love you which we usually tell each other, and she replied with Ditto... I replied back with OK Demi lol as an indication from the Movie Ghost where that phrase was made famous which Im not even sure she saw it... Most recently, I told her I love you over the phone, and she said OK though she was very tired at the time, and on our last phone convo I told her I missed her and she told me I saw her The Other Day.... Today is Wednsday... The other day she is talking about is last week Thursday. Please understand that this relationship is a huge transition for me and I dont want to mess this up, so please pray for wisdom and guidance throughout this, and if I may be concerned over NOTHING, which I would LOVE to find out, then please pray that God would confirm that to me if so, because Im a bit afraid. Even as I trust in the Lord, I can still be afraid because he may have will that I dont understand and that has happened to me more than once before. So please keep me in prayer regarding this. God bless yous all, and stay safe this Valentines Day...

Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

Zoe Ann My husband moved out of our house last April....long, painful story. Two months ago he admitted to a forty year addiction to pornography. I am numb, angry, poured out. 6 kids. Homeschooling. In ministry with evangelism, outreach, prayer. I am in constant pain with headaches, tinnitus, fatigue. My mother died in front of my eyes of a massive heart attack a few months ago. My best friend, my grandma, died five months prior to that. I am so very done with this life. Jesus somehow keeps my heart beating....please pray for me and my marriage and my kids, and for the testimony of Gods grace. Oh, and please pray for finacial matters. Due to his severe Adult ADD, my husband has lost 3 jobs in 4 years.

I am so blessed to share my life with these extraordinary people and I thank you for this continued blessing. Heavenly Father, I would like to pray for my partner who is in a detention centre in Australia. You have blessed me with finding this beautfiul and amazing man and am asking for your power and stength to help me release him from his current nightmare which he has been enduring for the past two years coming. J & J My (29yo) Husband was offered an expensive procedure to insert permanent teeth implants, pro-Bono(free) which is a HUGE blessing; now we have to come up with the funds for the trips down south (6 hour drive, that weve made twice now and will again 2 more times) and the expensive teeth in the next 4-6 months. He is also having two wisdom teeth removed before the implants are done, and because of their location near the nerve there is cause for concern - but we are giving this to God to handle. We are so very thankful to the Dr for offering this procedure and to the Heavenly Father for blessing us with this incredible opportunity! We have signed the release forms for the video interview, photographs and procedure video to be published. My husbands case will be made public to a medical study group (In Sacramento, CA) and online on the Doctors site, filmed and other Doctors will be in the room during the procedure for educational purposes. We are excited; not nervous or worried about the procedure but are focused on saving money to co-labor with God on this blessing. God has been calling my Husband and myself to a mission trip to Rwanda Africa with our church later this year, we want to go but will have to see how the Father has everything planned for us. All prayers are greatly appreciated. We cant wait for this to be done so we can share an incredible testimony of the Fathers grace and love. Thank you for your time! - The Hoovers

Jessica My daughter is a year old and has severe eczema. She is highly allergic to a lot of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, bananas and every time she eats them, her lip starts to swell and she gets itchy everywhere. She is still highly dependent on her soy milk formula, but she doesnt receive the proper nutrients she needs to grow up healthy and strong. Please help me pray that either she grows out of these allergies or we find a medication she can take so she can tolerate eating.

Sara My prayer is for my friend who is now in the state prison for a foolish thing he did while he was young. This crime wasnt violent What so ever. It was for stealing a pair of speakers. And now Hes doing a year in prison just because he was linked with other charges that they cant prove. I know his heart, hes honestly a sweet guy and would do anything for me an for his family an other friends. Hes been my call in the middle of the night on more than one occasion just to hear him say its gonna be okay. I havent gotten a letter back since hes been transferred and I just pray today is the day I get a letter and hopefully some good news. Please pray for his protection while hes in and pray he stays in touch the best he can.

xenophile I recieved a message today in my e-mail asking how my prayer had been answered.I just walked in the door from going to church this morning and as i was re reading my original prayer request
it dawned on me, or i had a revelation, that in one way my prayer had been answered, Today as i was driving to church i noticed my gas guage was getting very low,and remembered i had only $11
in my wallet. as i parked the truck i was "worried" about what to do,either get gas on the way home or put it all in the offering plate or should i keep 2 dollars to make it home or give two dollars to the church and get 10 on the way home all these thoughts went through my mind in an instant..so you can see i was "worried" about it.. well as i was walking towards the church i happened ro reach in my pocket and immediatly recognised the feel of money in my pocket as i pulled it out expecting to see my last 11 dollars imagin my suprise when there was a 20 dollar bill there where there should have been nothing.. i keep my money in my wallet.
well as suprised as i was i still knew that i had been given something i wasnt expecting or looking for so to make a long story short when the plate came by i dropped the 20 in there knowing that God had supplied my needs and wants without even asking i was only " worried" about what to do and God being the God he is knew my heart and provided my needs without even asking.. well what i realized through this is that no matter how much i worry about things and ask God for someone to share my life with, all is in vane because God knows my heart and wil provide for me when the time is right in his perfect timing and that is not the same as what we believe to be "perfect timing"so the revelation of the morning is to stop "worrying" about who she will be,where i will meet her,when i will meet her,if she will have as much faith as me,hopefully more..... just keep on doing the right thing knowing God has it all in his hands
and to stop worrying about this or complaining about it God knows already!!!!!
I hope this makes since to whoever reads it but please dont get me wrong on a few points i have made 1-i would never put only 2 dollars in the offering plate unless it was all i had lol its not what you give its how you give-from the heart.,2 i am not saying to not pray because God already knows,God uses our prayer time to allow us to draw closer to him, and for me, as a faith builder and test or show of dependance trust and faith!!! and please know that for me it is all about your love for God and others that really matters. remember what the bible tells us., love each other deeply because love covers over a multitude of sins. I love all of you who have been praying for me and please dont stop because i know God has someone for everyone and right now is a time of preperation and test of faith for me and ill remember what someone close to me, Pastor Anthony Mueller,once said Blair the only way to learn patience is to be patient so ill keep waiting patiently for this prayer to be answered!!

to learn about Him!!!! Satin did throw a lot at us on this trip
but God pulled us through and saved us from evil!!!!!!

Sarah God is faithful. Leah, Ericka, and Marlena are slowly coming around. God has been using my friend to speak to them about forgiveness. Also, I have found some answers that I have been able to share, and so I think they are coming around here. Obviously abuse is painful, and the road ahead will not be easy for them. With Gods help, they can do it, and I really want to thank you all for praying for them.
Brandon is still having issues, but he is currently relatively stable, I think. I can tell that something is still bugging him, but hes out of the hospital (he was admitted for suicidal tendencies). Please continue to pray for him.

I just wanted to say that I will have my interview in a few weeks but we figured it out, financially, how to get me down to Texas! God is good! I recently got a job interview at a residential camp and I am really excited about it. It would be a challenging but amazing job. Please pray that the interview goes well. Also. the camp is in Texas and I live in Colorado so getting to Texas financially will be difficult so please pray for that aspect of it too!

Hey everyone! Im new on here. I am having problems from my past--my brother abused me and I cant forget it. I unknowlingly blamed my dad for it. Please pray!
Sarah Haha, okay. Im not totally sure how this works, because my brother isnt a Christian yet... I take it there is a time-limit on prayer requests? Zach What an amazing outpouring of support, thank you to everyone who committed to pray and did just that. But above all, praise God. I just want to say a true heartfelt thank you to everyone who took time to pray for me, a perfect stranger, and asked for Christs hand in my life to bless me. More than anything, God has done mighty works in my life. While there is still much to be done in my heart (as with us all), I now feel the Lord more present in my life than I ever have. Recently, Ive asked God to help me "let go" of this woman if she no longer has any purpose in my life. No man knows the will of the Father, and I dont claim to, all I know is I no longer sit and wonder and silently hope she returns to me. The Lord is taking care of her and I dont need to stress; if its in His will, it will be. Letting go of not only her, but her son as well, has been a huge relief and weight off my shoulders. While it hasnt been the easiest thing in life, in fact its been the exact opposite, I take comfort in knowing that God is in control. I continue to gain encouragement from Gods Word and that is truly what Ive needed. I continue to pray for those who requested it, and each of my brothers and sisters in the Lord. Your prayers have certainly encouraged me and have meant so much!
Again, thank you!! And praise God for He is truly amazing and capable of ALL things. Without Him and our Savior Jesus Chris, we would all truly be lost. Praise His holy name!

Im really struggling in my life right now. Ive had the strongest feelings Ive ever felt for another human being for this woman for just over 7 years. Weve dated and broken it off, but always stay in contact. For some reason, we always find our way back to one another. Without getting into too many details, we went a great span of months without talking. This past Christmas, I spoke to her for the first time and at first we just spoke as friends. As time went on, we began getting more and more comfortable until we decided to give things another shot. We did well for about 4 months and recently she decided to drop me for no reason. She hardly speaks to me, is very rude when we do speak, and genuinely seems to want nothing to do with me. Its extremely hurtful, more so this time than ever before because she has a son, and a he is one of the most amazing little boys Ive ever had the pleasure to know. Over the four months, we developed quite a bond and now she has taken both herself, and her son out of my life. This is extremely hard for me to deal with as I love them both dearly. Ive been praying for Gods will in my life, been praying for strength and just the courage to carry on. I know God loves me and Jesus is with me, and I know where God guides, he provides. I also remind myself that if God brings me to something, He will bring me through it. Some days are easier than others. I came here just to browse the shirt designs and saw the prayer board and thought "Why not?" I know Gods will is sovereign and I cannot question what He does. I would be overjoyed to have her and her son back in my life...every time I think to myself "Why would God bring me to be so happy with her, only to break us away?" Its a tough question and one I have a tough time finding the answer to. There are times when I begin to pray and I dont even know where to go with things anymore. I just need help and guidance on this, and other things. I appreciate any prayer that anyone is able to offer, it is such a blessing to be able to come here. God bless.

He went back into the hospital today for observation for a bruise on his new pancreas. They are still hopeful that he will not reject the new organ. She considers herself a Christian, but i dont understand that if she doesnt want His will for us. Sara First off I would like to thank everyone who prayed for me. I praise God for all of you! We got back from the mission trip this past Friday. The trip was amazing!!! It went nothing the way we thought it would, but God used us in a big way! The second day we were there the town was hit by 10 tornados. We all had to take cover in the town courthouse with most of the the towns people. While in the courthouse one of our students was able to witness to a young man his age. In the middle of this huge storm the young man came to Christ! After the tornados were over we were sent out into the town to help clean up. There was so much damage and debris everywhere. It was so amazing to be able to help out!!! When we got back Friday we were told that the people of the town were still asking for us and wanting us to help! Praise Jesus that we were such an amazing witness to that town!!! Also, I forgot to mention, the day before we were set to leave for our trip I was called for an interview for a job at our local university. They told me that they would call me and let me know if I got the job. The Friday we were driving home I got a call from them. I GOT THE JOB!!! God is so good!!!!!! Even though He made me wait to the very last day of our trip to show me that He has everything under control, I know that He has my life in His hands, and I know that whatever He has for me will be amazing! Again, thank you all for your prayers! You all have a special place in Heaven! :)

I have been very highly involved in all of the preparation for the trip, as well as all of the team meetings and team building. I was given permission months ago from my job to go on the trip. A week before we are to leave for the trip I get called into the HR office at work. I was told that because I did not have any vacation time they were not going to let me use leave without pay for my trip. So, if I went, it would be counted as a no call no show. I was forced to chose. We leave for the trip on Friday. Thursday is my last day at my job. Please just pray that God would guide my footsteps and help me to find a new place of employment where I can serve him to my fullest capacity. I know that I am doing what He has called me to do. I want to be the best example and servant to those middle school kids as I possible can!
