Kaitlin My mother and my stepfather both smoke cigarettes. They are in their 50s, and it is strongly affecting their health. They are constantly coughing. I have asked them to quit on multiple occasions, but it is not enough for me to ask them. I need Gods help to get through to them that they do not need cigarettes. Thirst Ok, so this is a long story but well worth the time. Its also all completely true, which is incredible now that I recount it, but then, God is incredible. I have a friend named Ben, whos a soldier for the British army, a veteran by any account, very experienced at the young age of 27. Hes traveled all over the world in his duties, including Saudi Arabia (and has used his experience to be a huge help for my future career of being a missionary). While in Saudi Arabia he met one of the princesses there, and the two fell in love. However, due to she being a Saudi Arabian princess and him being a British soldier, they would have both died if her father didnt approve, and he didnt. So they broke it off to keep each other safe. This all happened a couple years ago. Today, Ben told me he recently found out she was getting engaged in two weeks, through her sister e-mailing him. The gist of it was "Nobody likes the guy, and shes still in love with you (Ben)." So Ben is taking a bit of leave to make his case to the princesss father before the engagement happens. Im asking that you pray for him to succeed and that God wills for the two of them being together, and of course that they both come to know Christ through this relationship. I fear for Ben if God does not will this to succeed, so I also ask that should this not happen, Ben finds peace without committing suicide, and that his heart is healed. I care about this man a lot, hes one of my closest friends and I appreciate any prayer support you guys can give, for this incredibly true story. Finally, I ask simply that the Lords will be done, as He knows better than any of us. Thank you guys

Senzy My fiance and I have been engaged for more than two years now. At first he lost his job and couldnt save for the bride price. We prayed and waited until he got a job earlier this year but the job doesnt pay enough to even save a little. He can only pay for transport and rent and it keeps getting cut. Last week his room was broken into his belongings were stolen. Its like all the negative things are happening to him, to us now and it steals our joy and hope of making it to marriage.what we are asking for is for him to get a good job that pays him well enough to pay lobola and to get married soon.

D A lot of my friends, including my best friend, are really into a blasphemous webcomic called Homestuck. The comic as based around zodiacs, witchcraft, and characters becoming gods, among many other evil themes. My friends dress up and mimic the demonic-in-appearance characters. I really need them to see the true light of the Lord and that the comic is evil and stop their obsession with it. This comic has caused quite a few fights between my friends and I, and among them, and these fights need to end.

Andreas I would like if you could help me to pray for one of my best friends. She is pretty broken right now since her boyfriend broke up with her today. She says that she dont want to wake up tomorrow and face the fact that its over so shell probably not even go to sleep tonight (its 0.15 AM over here in Sweden right now). Judiann First of all, please pray for our Nation....we are in very troubling times with unemployment, homelessness, hunger, financial woes, healthcare issues, etc. Secondly, please pray for the continued health and healing of my children (blood relative and not), that they may stay healthy, leaving all major health issues behind, that my grandchildren may not inherit the Marfan Syndrome that has attacked my youngest son, Ian. Sue I lost my 18 yr old son in a car crash on Jan. 14, 2012. This tragedy has brought me closer to God as He is the source of all my strength and has given me peace beyond ALL my understanding. I wish I could say the same for my husband and older son. They are both very angry with God. I want them to come to church with me and find the peace and comfort Ive been blessed with, but both of them refuse. I pray that God will soften their hearts and that they will look to Him for help in this very difficult time. He had also opposed a bill allowing failed abortion survivors to be saved. He has expanded Planned Parenthood on the taxpayers dime. He is trying to take away the tax benefits for churches and religious affiliated agencies/schools. He has turned his back/us againest Israel. We are to stand with Israel as per our God. There has been no transparency as promised (1.7 million tax dollars spent in legal representation (DOJ) to keep personal documents out of the publics veiwing), the poor numbers dont lie either. Lets hold off the end times-vote. A one world government is on its way (some rights in the hands of the UN), we are monitored, and as we know should we not acept the mark of the beast there will be no goods.Obama had flags made; it was an american flag only his face was placed where the stars were, and the red lines were fainter and broken. He is portraying himself as a God, we have only one. Please pray for truth from the canidates, and the horribly biased media, which seems to be controlled by the President. Stand for our brothers and sisters, our God, the unborn, Israel, the poor, the Christian schools/churches losing and have lost their tax benefits. Its just so very scary.

Lucy My daughter is expecting her first baby in January and her husband just got accepted to medical school. They will have to move from NJ to Virginia by next July. Right now he is the only one working and finances are very tight. Moving means being away from friends and family. With no savings to speak of this is causing my daughter a lot of stress. God has been faithful to our family and I just ask for prayer for them to continue to believe that God will supply all their needs and that my daughter can have peace in her heart about this.

Bradford people told me how the day after getting the teeth pulled is the worst day but this is day 1 of me living life without my wisdom teeth and i feel a whole lot of pain so praise God for that and Im hoping for part 2 of my prayers,which is my face shrinking back to normal size by Sunday

Heidi Aden Update: The Doctors have finally figured out what was causing the weakness in Adens legs! It is something called Guillain-Barre syndrome. They have started treatment and my brother says Adens legs are getting loads better and that he is about 70% of what he use to be. It may take a while but he should make a full recovery. Praise God! Thanks so much for all your prayers

The doctors have no idea what is causing this and are doing more testing on him today. Please be praying the find out what the problem is quickly and that he makes a full recovery. My Brother Jim is also a recovering drug addict and has been clean for 3 years but, I worry that if Aden doesnt make a full recovery that it may push Jim back down that slippery slope of addiction. Aden and his sister Heaven are my Brothers reason for living a drug free lifeSo I guess Prayer for all possible outcomes is requested

Bee-Shizzle! Thank you all for your prayers. I turned in part of my community hours that were due on this case. I thought I was gonna have to make two trips, which would take away my hours at work, but turned out I did not have to make that second trip. Thank you all again, God is great!

Joshua Thanks to all of you for all of your prayers and thanks to our loving God! After I posted the prayer request, my sons motivation to stop wetting at night increased dramatically. The last few weeks, he has wet maybe every other night or less. This is a wonderful improvement compared to several times every night. Thanks again so much for you prayers! We love you all!

I am asking if a few of you guys could join me in prayer for my 10 year old son, Isaiah. Its a small problem really; he wets the bed at night. We have seen two dr.s about the issue and they said kids will usually grow out of it by twelve. The prob is we are currently living with my 75yr old grandma and she is a little more old fashioned, I guess, and doesnt believe the dr.s. It is causing problems within the house between her and my wife and I. We have tried many things to help limit his fluid intake before bed, but now the prob is my gma is wanting to go to more extreme mesures of not letting him drink fluids 5 hrs before bed. I think that is a little harsh since I would have a hard time not having anything to drink for that amount of time. I was sitting at my desk, upset over the recent argument, and the Lord put it on my heart to pray for him.....so here I am.Thank you so much,Joshua

Chris My prayer has just been answered. My test has come back negative! One of the hardest/most stressful five days of my life. I have been praying to God and reading the Bible and I see this as a wake up call and Gods way of bringing me back into living a life with Him as the center of my life. Siri My son made it through the surgical procedure without any complications - praise God! Thank you everyone for your prayers! He is in ICU overnight (at OHSU in Portland, Oregon) and will need a follow-up cerebral angiogram in 6 months to see whether or not the problem is "cured." I am still hoping and praying for his salvation....

After undergoing MRIs, a lumbar puncture, and a cerebral angiogram, it was determined that he has a dural arteriovenous fistula in the posterior region of his head. This condition requires a surgical procedure (embolization) under general anesthesia which will occur on the morning of Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Of course, this procedure does not come without risks (e.g., stroke). Also, I pray that the Lord would reveal Himself to Devrin so that he may be saved and become a believer. Thank you.

Im a teenager in a christian family. My mom is due in the beginning of July with her seventh child. At the beginning of the pregnancy, she went in for a routine ultrasound, but it turned out to be anything but routine. The doctors told us that the baby had trisomy 13, a chromosomal abnormality. They said that she would not live more than a few hours after birth, if that much. Other ultrasounds through the months have rendered much the same result, we learned that she has many of the abnormalities common to trisomy 13 babies, including that her kidneys did not appear to be functioning properly, therefore there wasnt enough amniotic fluid and she was breach. The latest two ultrasounds however, show some improvement, the doctor says that the amniotic fluid is up, the babys head is down, and they are confident shell make it to birth, and even think she could very well live several years. Im a teenager in a christian family. My mom is due in the beginning of July with her seventh child. At the beginning of the pregnancy, she went in for a routine ultrasound, but it turned out to be anything but routine. The doctors told us that the baby had trisomy 13, a chromosomal abnormality. They said that she would not live more than a few hours after birth, if that much. Other ultrasounds through the months have rendered much the same result, we learned that she has many of the abnormalities common to trisomy 13 babies, including that her kidneys did not appear to be functioning properly, therefore there wasnt enough amniotic fluid and she was breach. The latest two ultrasounds however, show some improvement, the doctor says that the amniotic fluid is up, the babys head is down, and they are confident shell make it to birth, and even think she could very well live several years. However, we are still hoping and praying for complete healing. Thank you to everyone that prays for this. God bless you all.~Emily

Gina I asked c28 to continue praying for me to get a job. I was unemployed since December 2009. Well, I start my new job as an Office Assistant on August 2nd. Im taking a $7 cut in pay but I know my God is faithful and He always provides for me and my family. I do trust in God and I thank Him for all the faithful prayer warriors who have interceded for me! We are a family of 8 and our health insurance was denied, and we need insurance. My empolyer does not offer it because we are a company of less that 40 employees, my wife works part time so she does not qualifiy. The govt issued insurance says we are over qualified. Derrick God is molding me daily...and if you check out my recent thread "hii this is how im doing!=)" Nd i am soo hyype i no longer stay on the computer that long or even have a desire to stay up late on the computer or tv....but my nights are now spent listening to Gods voice as i lay in my bed talking to him. Nd my morinings are spent mostly meditating on Gods word and talking to him. Dont get me wrong. Its a process and God has moved one mountain out of my life now i am waiting for God to help me overcome lust of girls and guys that i see when i walk in the street. I need a lot of prayer and help. Honestly it is a miracle the fact that i am typing on this website. I have been struggling with an addiction with pornography. Well i wouldnt say struggling because God has already delievered me i just keep acting stupid and going back please pray that GOd will restore my faith and i will grow closer to him. Nd my computer is really messing up. Because of this porn mess. I no longer have an intrest on going back to those sites...God has healed my heart and i have such a disgust for sin. Its 3:00 in the morning and i have been on the computer since twelve...and i was trying to watch this movie called preachers kid....its a christian movie rather then beeing on some porn website. I am really emotional right now because i am fighting this sin. and i am also trying to guard my heart and check it to to make sure i am not on a performance tredmill with God but rather i am staying humble and holding onto the cross. Please pray that i will let go of my idolatry of beyonce and my love and pull to want to listen to secular music. Thank you. God bless please agree with me =)

Kaitlynn J God is healing my jaw. its just a time thing. it takes time to heal just like anything else. i finished my therapy that was laser treatment and now im just wearing my appliances like i should be. and will see how that does.

Darcy A week after I posted this Prayer request, My boyfriend broke up with me over the phone. During that week, that I had posted his prayer request... Cody had wanted me to have sex with him and I told him no. I told him also that because of my past with sexual abuse, I fel like I couldnt say no in that situation anyway and I built up enough courage to actually tell him I didnt want to. He told me that He learned a lot dating me about his self, that he had a great time everytime he spent it with me, he wont forget what we had, but he said I am just not ready for this and I dont even know if I am going to spend the rest of my life with you, I might meet someone else down the road and this would have hurt you a lot more if I did this any later than now. I still want to be your friend. I was crying, and his mom said she needed to use the phone so he had to get off it. He then said that it was his time now to go cry and I said Dont go Please and he said I have to. We dicussed that I should be safe too, so I didnt do anythings stupid like hurt myself or kill myself and at first he didnt want me to go to the hospital or Fourwinds. But I asked him to please let me go. So, he did. We both thought it was a good idea so I went to Saratoga Mental Health that night. I stayed there over night, they took some blood, asked questions, and sent me and my mom home at like 4 in the morning in a Taxi. I cried for 6 days straight after the Break up. I didnt go to School for a couple of days and I didnt eat anythink for like 3 or four of those days. I lost wieght, I hardly could sleep, and I miss him a whole lot. I hate it when you break up and continue to remember the time spent having fun with one another,the time spent just being goofy together and how you felt when he said he loved you or just the fact that he liked you,the times when he made you laugh,gave you butterflies,Kissed you,those times he held you when you cried,the secrets you shared,the many hours you spent talking on the phone,and waking up in his arms. I was hurt, but I am learing to move on. I know he wasnt the right guy for me and that I do deserve so much better than him. Thank you all for all of your prayers, it really helped!

My Boyfriend had went to my best friends Prom with her far from Home and stayed the weekend at her house. She had told me that, he ruined Prom for her, because he was rude, obnoxiuos, disrespectful and Complaining a lot all night and pretty much dicthed her to go play Pool with two other guys. She also proceeded to tell me that he continued to tell her that he loved her 4 or 5 times well at her house. She had asked him, Well why are you telling me this? Dont you love Darcy(me)? And he said No I dont love her. And so Christina asked him then why do you tell her you love her then if you dont? And he lied to her and told her because I(Darcy) said it first. Cody has been lying to me, flirting with girls right in front of me, and now telling my best friend that he loves Her! Idk know what to do and where to begin to talk to him about it. So, I called boyfriend tonight and he was really mad and said that he didnt want to talk about it. He was being really mean and as I was talking to another friend about the situation and Cody said dont tell him nothing if you do I will punch you both I am not scared. And kept saying I dont want to talk about it and hung up on me. I called back and he hung up again, then I called a third time and he said are you done talking about it? I said Are you done hanging up on me? I do so much for and with Cody. We have went to far physically and He bosss me around and tells me what to do and I do it. I do everything he tells me to. Sarah Well...I was told that the whole "Cheesus" thing was just someone being silly. I still think we need to pray for the person. Its not exactly something to joke about, and it shows that the person needs God in their life.
However! I also think we should continue to pray for all who are contemplating abortion; that they will choose life.

well i have alot going on first off my husband is going through a legal battle over somthing that happened a yr ago before we were together. He is having to serve a 14 days in a detention center and this is very hard for us since weve only been married a month and now we have to be separated. Also ive been having a health issue for almost a yr now, i have a lump in my breast which drs say is mastitis but im not nursing or pregnant and havent been either of thse for many yrs so they dont know why i have it and they cant seem to get rid of it. Ive had 3 surgeries in the or and 1 minor surgery in the drs office. Please just say a few prayers for my family so that God will be glorified in all our troubles and that our family will be strengthened. Thank you

JaNique So how about my missions trip is payed for!!! only $400 had to come out of my pocket. God provided me with the strength to do fund raisers for the trip and I raised all the money I needed.
We will be leaving next weekend and I am super excited! God has been preparing my heart and mind and soul for this trip!! I am sooo ready!
