Leigh Please pray for my mother. She is 70 years old, and is very depressed, having some stomach pain, racing heart, and panic attacks. She had a bad panic attack earlier tonight, and was very upset, and crying. She never wants to see a doctor. My brother, my only sibling, disowned her over 20 years ago, when my parents divorced, and it also hurts her greatly. Not a day goes by that she doesnt grieve over him not talking to her. She cried about him tonight, saying how much it hurts that he hates her. She says she feels useless, and wants to be able to do everything she did before. Said she wants to help me, but cant. She is in a severe depression, and I dont know what to do.
She lives with me and my 4 children. I am a single mom, after my husband abandoned us 6 years ago. I work very long hours to be able to take care of all of us. Sometimes I have to stay awake for 2 days at a time, and my health isnt the greatest. I have to work, and it is becoming very hard to function at all, because Im so worried about her. I feel like Im about to fall apart.
Please pray that if there is anything physically wrong with her, that God will heal her, and take any sickness away from her. Please also pray that she will not feel depressed anymore, or hopeless. Pray that she will enjoy life again.
Please pray for all of our health, so we can be strong, and happy. Please also pray that somehow, work will become a little easier for me, so that I wont have to skip a night of sleep, and have a few days off once in awhile to spend with my family.
I believe that the power of prayer is very strong, and I have witnessed it work miracles before. So I would be so grateful for your prayers. God Bless.

A Captivated Heart I would like prayer for people in other places of the world where hunger and poverty is stark. I want to make a difference in the lives of people who are faced with struggles us American do not usually have to face. Knowing that other people in the world, especially in poor countries, pay the price of our luxurious lifestyles drives me with this passion to give them the life promised in John 10:10 . If you truely believe in Christ Jesus, that He is the Son of God, one with the Father, and that you have accepted Him into your heart, He will never let you go, He died for us to wipe our slates completely clean, there is not one thing we can do to lose our salvation. No matter what we do, He has already forgiven, and forgotten past present and future. Do not fear, but remember satan always tries to find a way to bring a believer down, and spiritual warfare is a major struggle with many Christians. Alan I would also like a prayer for strength and full deliverance...I am one of the worship leaders in our church, and sometimes I hold back myself because I know Im still not yet fully delivered from my old self...I was born and raised as a Christian... My parents met and grew up on a church and has a very strong foundations of faith... Mo Ive been married to my husband, Steve, for almost 15 years and for that entire time, my in-laws have been a huge problem in our marriage. They are still attached to my husbands ex-wife, who although she left him for someone else, they still have her over and include her in family functions. My husband doesnt seem to have a problem with it, but I do. They have not warmed up to me, even though Ive been in their family for 15 years. Theres been so much tension and its really driven a wedge in our marriage. Steves daughter has also resented me, and thats been another source of friction in our marriage. Now that my husbands daughter is getting married this year, his ex-wife seems to be everywhere and since my husband knows it bothers me, hes being secretive about his meetings and conversations with her and it has been hurtful and really bothersome. I would really appreciate your prayers that God would intervene in my marriage and solve this problem for us. Thank you so very much.

Gemy Hello(: Its been a really long time since Ive posted a prayer request here. Probably because I lost my faith. D: Maybe there is a bit more, because Im asking for your help here. But Im just VERY confused right now. Some of my friends told me that it isnt an overnight thing and it will certainly take time. But thats something else: What if there isnt much time left? We all know that the end of the world is pretty near. The fact that Im scared of it make me a lot more scared because my teacher said that if you are scared of the end of age, you are not saved. I want to be saved. I want to believe in God because I love Him. But whats happening is: I want to believe in God because I want to be saved from the End of the World. AND. What scares me most is the fact that I dont think I can accept Jesus as my Lord Savior because Im not sure if he even actually existed. DDD: And I found some (mean) verses in the bible. Like Deut. 22:13-22. Please explain? (: This march, Im having a major operation (Double curve, 50 degrees Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis) and Im hoping it would be successful. What if something bad happens? Im not being negative, Im being realistic. And also my education. Because of my operation, the school is letting me take more work so that I can cope up with the things i will miss. It pressures me and usually triggers my epileptic migraine. The school knows about this, so they are helping me with it, which is really nice of them. But please also pray for my health(: Thank you for reading something this long. Please help me. KingsKid2 Dear Lord, I know that You do not want anyone to perish. (1 Tim. 2:4) Thank you for Jenns perseverance with prayer. Help her to not give up but to keep believing in Your Word and Your promises. I pray that her family would open their hearts to You. Show them how desperately they need a Saviour. In Jesus Name, AmenJenn, did you ever hear about George Muller? He was the man who had many orphan houses in England in the 1800s. He was a great man of prayer. He prayed for the salvation of 5 people for years before they accepted Christ. In fact, the one man never got saved until Georges funeral! But he was faithful to bring his requests before the Lord. Persistent prayer matters; keep trusting the Lord.

ANGELA God is indeed answering my prayer...my faith has been strengthened and i have overcome the habits I had been allowing to overcome me; my husband and i are slowly but surely being brought into right relationship with each other. shaun My friends biopsy came back inconclusive but that is also good news. That means if there is cancer, it is still precancerous and very easily treatable. She has told me her finances are also improving and she was able to get health insurance starting December 1st. Thank you for all your prayers. God has answered them!

I need prayers for my friend who is undergoing a biopsy today for early stage cancer. She was diagnosed with early stage cancer and is having this procedure today to diagnose if she has cervical cancer or not. If she does have this disease, I pray she will have the finances to pay for its treatment. She is uninsured and is struggling with all of her finances. Her home is currently in forclosure, struggles for food and gas, and her health insurance which does go into effect on Dec. 1 may exclude this condition as a pre-existing condtion. I pray she may look to God for guidance as He has always provided for her needs in the past.

Im applying to colleges right now and Im afraid I may not be able to get into any of the schools Im applying to. Im also taking the SATs for the third time. I pray that God will aid me through my college admissions and my SATs. I also pray that I may have a better relationship with my family. Especially my mother and brother. I pray that my dads anger will cool down, and that my family may finally live in prosperity. I want to pray for all the people who have hurt me and the people I have hurt. Alison Well the time has finally come when I am moving out next week! God has definitely been present this semester giving me patience, love and grace for my roommates that was from Him. I know I could not have done it on my own! As this new chapter starts in my life, I hope to stay committed to pray for my roommates who are still very lost. Thanks so much for all your prayers!!!

Patricia Sadly my prayer was not answered nor have most who answered agreed to pray for my request. It seems that many believe they can speak for God when he has already told me he loves me simply for I am and how I am devoted to helping his undersereved children.

Now, because some people live with a fear of things they dont understand, it is illegal for us to marry as two women. And so we wait...Please pray that soon this country will come together peacefully in support of gay marriage.

Patricia Ah Sabine, I wish you were right. Unfortunately I am not trying to choose, not trying to be anyones boss and have no negative pride. I am simply head over heels, sweetly in natural love with this woman and have been for years. You are right I think in one sense - that nothing can be created w/o gods awesome power. Sarah The past few days have been quite an ordeal for me. I still dont know whether what I experienced was a late and very strange period or a three-week miscarriage, but things seem to be settling down and working out.
That being said, while my boyfriend and I have never had sex, weve obviously been way too intimate recently and definitely need God`s strength.

Sarah Wow, I should have updated this long ago! Anyway, thank you all very much for your prayers. I was finally able to let go this past April, after a heart-to-heart talk with both a close friend and my aunt, and I am so thankful that I have been able to move past him. My heart still aches, knowing how desperately he needs the Lord, but I am so thankful that I am out of that relationship and relearning how to love God fully.

judy I want to thank God for my sons quick accident recovery and all my C28 friends who committed to praying for him. He is doing much better now. Next Monday I take him back for his final check-up. Last week the doctor was astonished to see how fast hes recovered. To God be the glory!

my 14 yo son was recently in a bicycle accident and has 3 fractures on his face. he will be undergoing surgery today and I ask that you help me pray for him and his doctors, that god will guide the doctors hands for a successful surgery and for my childs quick recovery. Tonya Update:Went to thyroid specialist and they found a growth on the Thyroid gland. We have to follow up in 6 months. If it has not gotten smaller or completely gone they will do a biopsy to rule out cancer. Keep on praying please for both situations!!

Tracie We are still in the process of adoption but we have had a change of heart and will be doing foster to adopt...please pray that if/when we get these children that we can be a good Godly presece in their life. I know it will be very hard if we have to give these child up...so i pray that God will bring us the right children for us. thank you all for praying for us.

The Lord made His will known and we just took that step of faith and followed Him. Pray for my parents and I, that God would reveal His will about whether or not He would like us to stay here or move closer to my sister. I pray that the Lord would reveal His will for me about Bible College. Im positive that He wants me to go and become a missionary in another country. But my finances make it seem so impossible and sometimes I just feel so alone in this. Elena Thank you for your prayers and sorry for the late update. Kimberly had passed away this past summer. Of course it was hard on her friends and family, but they continued to look to the Lord for comfort. She knew Jesus and so that also gave them peace, she is now with her creator and is suffering no more. Thank you again, God bless :)

Please just pray that I would get out of this state of being lazy. I know its a small thing compared to what a lot of people are going through. But Id really appreciate it! I struggle with depression and I dont know if that is the problem or its just pure laziness, idleness or whatever. All I know is that I should be doing something else instead of staying up late, waking up late, and getting nothing done during the day. Im very health conscious, but lately I just dont care and my flesh has just been very weak in general. It seems that things keep happening, so that I cant make it to church. I know that I can listen online, but I never do! Im not where I want to be at spiritually and I feel like I am missing out at church. I want to get back into volunteer cleaning at my church, but I have to wake up so early! Its that or I dont have enough gas in the car or my dad has doctors appointments (we only have one car), or me just being too tired. I would like to connect with more people my age in my church, but I have terrible social anxiety and I feel like it pushes everyone away. Pray for the Lord to send me someone who will help me break down these walls! Thank you so so much! Blessings.

I have a habit of pushing people away or acting standoffish. Its only because I am uncomfortable being myself around people and I am just awkward and shy... Please just pray that I have not offended anyone today at church. And that they will love me anyway and make me feel welcome again the next time I see them.
