christopher david This is a follow up prayer request for Lorinda Quest...Ive been talking to Lorinda for about 9 months on the phone, chatting online,etc. Weve gotten to know each other as well as we possibly can without actually being together. We have basically fallen for each other and have been praying for the Lord to do His will in our lives. We have both expressed the desire to get married. We have been praying together and asking God for guidance. This is probably the strangest thing God has ever done to either one of us and we are actually enjoying each others company even though we have never even touched. We both desire for our relationship to go in the direction that He wants it to. We have agreed not to put each other before Christ. Jesus Christ comes first no matter what happens. Unfortunately, I am just a poor college student going to Victory University for my ass. degree in Christian Ministries. She is a student in Africa and she can always attend school here if she can get here. Not only is it killing me that shes in such a dangerous country, but also I forsee no way to get her here nor how to take care of her if/when she does.I am a certified chef, but I have chosen to go back to school to serve Christ. Micah Please pray for my family we all seem to be under attack, mostly health/medical issues. Me financial and job wise I am in the final four weeks of school and all this trouble is keeping me from studying and completing assignments. My fam that i am living with are still pushing me out the door even though i have no place to go and no job. As soon as school ends i dont know what will become of me. Yet they still ask for favors and expect me to do things for them even though they still want me out by the 3rd week of May. John Me and my wife made the decision to put our children in a Christian school 2 years ago. We have been doing our best to make ends meet but the tuition leaves only $6.50 left every month after the bills are paid leaving nothing for emergencies or any repair. I ask for prayer for us to have wisdom and understanding to do what is right for our kids and our family and that God will lead us in that direction. I as a dad want the best for my kids but I cant have my decisions take a toll on them. Please pray for us... God be with us all...

Gemy Hello(: Its been a really long time since Ive posted a prayer request here. Probably because I lost my faith. D: Maybe there is a bit more, because Im asking for your help here. But Im just VERY confused right now. Some of my friends told me that it isnt an overnight thing and it will certainly take time. But thats something else: What if there isnt much time left? We all know that the end of the world is pretty near. The fact that Im scared of it make me a lot more scared because my teacher said that if you are scared of the end of age, you are not saved. I want to be saved. I want to believe in God because I love Him. But whats happening is: I want to believe in God because I want to be saved from the End of the World. AND. What scares me most is the fact that I dont think I can accept Jesus as my Lord Savior because Im not sure if he even actually existed. DDD: And I found some (mean) verses in the bible. Like Deut. 22:13-22. Please explain? (: This march, Im having a major operation (Double curve, 50 degrees Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis) and Im hoping it would be successful. What if something bad happens? Im not being negative, Im being realistic. And also my education. Because of my operation, the school is letting me take more work so that I can cope up with the things i will miss. It pressures me and usually triggers my epileptic migraine. The school knows about this, so they are helping me with it, which is really nice of them. But please also pray for my health(: Thank you for reading something this long. Please help me. Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

With Love On Your Arms I am really worried about some things in life and being a teen. Im 16 and I dont have a drivers license yet or even have my slip/permit. I dont have a job yet also and my grades werent so good. I have someone in my family who tells me that I need to get my license and a job because I am making people have a hard time. Judiann First of all, please pray for our Nation....we are in very troubling times with unemployment, homelessness, hunger, financial woes, healthcare issues, etc. Secondly, please pray for the continued health and healing of my children (blood relative and not), that they may stay healthy, leaving all major health issues behind, that my grandchildren may not inherit the Marfan Syndrome that has attacked my youngest son, Ian. That Erik, my oldest son, may overcome the issues with his eyesight, that the kerataconis will be healed by Jesus and there will be no need for surgery. Lastly, please pray for guidance and wisdom concerning our impending move back to Tennessee. Praying that my health will be better there, as Ive chronicled. Topaz Hi, my fellow sisters and brothers in Christ :) I would be very grateful if you could pray for me right now. Recently the Lord challenged me to change my perspective on what Im going to do after I graduate. As a result, I have to switch courses around, obtain a co-op placement in a competitive field, and go against the negativity and pessimism that my guidance counsellor is projecting onto me. This is hard, as I have always been the kind of person to go with the flow, and while I frequently defend others, I rarely stand up for myself. Thanks for any and all prayers. Gilbert My prayer request wasnt entirely answered but some of it was. I am less stressed about school and seem to be doing a little bit better, I got a good enough grade on the ASVAB to join the Navy as a corpsman, I picked up some new friends and I am enjoying volunteering as an EMS. I still need a job, still need help with my faith and also need to lose some weight for the Navy. Thanks for all the prayers and please continue to pray! :)

I basically feel alone. My father and his side of the family need Jesus in their lives. I need a job to help pay off bills and to support my mother and little brother and sister. I have severe problems with cursing, anger and other personal issues that I need prayer for strength to overcome. I dont want to be this way and to stop feeling to alone. Early morning our time ( 2 am our time 8 am German time ).He took the written part and did not do well ( his handwriting is simply horrible and very difficult to read! ) . Tomorrow is the verbal part. Please pray he does well. According to their scoring he has to make at least a 3 to pass the whole course. Perfect score is a 1. I know it is weird. Please pray for him he is very down about this.

Daena Half of my prayers answered maybe... Im not sure. But God has been working through my life right now and I feel like hes like somewhere here with me. I dont know exactly where, but it feels like hes always around my heart. :) I am very happy right now and its not just because its almost Christmas. Part of it is that. Im 20 and I have been in the deepest relationship Ive ever had, just over the past year. Theres a lot of betrayal and heartbreak Im still trying to recover from by the people involved, and... I get depressed, angry, i cry, and I am so sick of it and i just wish i could be done with this pain already... I feel ugly and worthless and unwanted and school isnt helping. im a sophomore at SDSU and i walk from class to class all by myself day-to-day and i feel so alone, like the only person who sees or hears or loves me is God...and hes all i can hold onto right now. <3

Jemma I know how difficult this is.. went through a similar situation myself and i was just amazed at how easy it actually was to move on. God was strengthening me each day and it did not hurt anymore. Its true that memories remain and true they still bring about some saddness but remember God is on your side always..in trial or pain, he is the God who provides. Put your trust in the Lord and you will be refreshed with His wonderful love. Ill pray for you darling. For courage, faith, peace and that you may have the wisdom to see Gods plans for you. Remember you are precious for the Lord. See he sent so many people to encourage you.

Rosemarie Cross country is finally over and even though we all wanted to advance to the next level... I think we werent meant to. For once, were actually able to take a break and let everyone heal up. I dont know what the future holds.. All I know is we ran our hearts out and came out short so theres a chance if we would have traveled to run the next week then wed become far more injured. :) The volleyball team is pulling back together and several are starting to show great amouts of improvement along with football.

Rosemarie Hes still as strong as ever and is constantly trying to find new ways to reach out into the youth. Tonight he hosted a movie night where we all watched letters to god under the stars. :)

Id like to ask everyone to keep Reagan Sewell in your prayers. Hes the greatest coach I could have asked for. He took a big risk moving from a town where he knew EVERYONE to a place where he believed God needed him. Now, not only is he teaching students and coaching atheletes. Hes taken the job of Youth leader in our local Church. Hes such a blessing in my life and Im sure in many others whether he realizes it or not. The most amazing trait about him is how hes not afraid to show his faith. He writes scriptures on our boards in the lockerrooms for motivation. He occasionally closes us out in prayer and ALWAYS prays over us before games. I hope and pray that he will stay good and well enough to continue to change lives for many years to come.

Though there is still more the be praying for, but it keeps me feeling bless with what I do have and keeps me focused on God and giving things to him because he is control! God has blessed me with the opportunity to reach others for Christ by starting a on campus chapter of Campus Crusade for Christ!!! So be praying for that!! My Uncle is doing tons better, only a few more Chemo treatments to go so Thank you for your prayers!! My Aunt is happy where she is now and my cousin is moving into her old house so it worked out great for the family! Thanks again! God is Truly amazing!!

It has taking me a month but now I found a church and amazing christian friends so PRAISE God for that but prayer that I continue to focus on God and school and not anything else that is of the world. My family needs prayer, and guidance. With the Loss of My 37 year old cousin passing away last year from cancer my aunt has decided to move and it is hurting a lot of us. Now my other cousin a little younger has rectal cancer and he is expecting his 2nd daughter, pray for his healing. My Uncle has been struggling with cancer as well, he went through Chemo for lung cancer, then lymphoma, and now they found a brain tumor. Thank God they were able to remove it with out any damage, but prayer is still needed for he might still need more treatment. There is so much more that needs prayer for, but just lift up my name God will now :) Thanks to all!

Today at school I approached 2 people to invite them to church. People you wouldnt except to come at all but one agreed willingly and another is sort of edgy. I know thats not many at all but its a start. I can feel my courage and boldness build up.
Here recently my mother purchased me two necklaces from this website that had bible verses I hold very close to my heart. I wear it around proudly and feel a piece of excitement when anyone reaches for it to read it. Its a great way to start up a conversation or invite anyone to church. Im hoping there will be a few items on my wishlist that Ill save up money to purchase that will have the same effect as the necklace. :)

Ive noticed many adults overlook teenagers and their problems because theyre young. The reality is theyre faced with many issues that are in need of solving also. My name is Rose and I attend highschool in a very small unknown town. People really seem to have lost their morals. Theres several homosexual children in most grades that consist of less than 50 kids. Theres been a teacher that would bring up buddah. Most students minds are corrupted with dirty thoughts or jokes they hear from their classmates. I know this is nationwide. Angela Dear C28 ~ Prayer for immediate restoral of CAL Grant was denied by State of California. Therefore, I believe that answer then would be found in Proverbs 3:5,6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. That is what I must do as God is in control and knows the plans he has for our sons & daughters. This has been a challenge & a test. However, We walk by faith and not by sight...All the priceless jewels/scriptures come rushing in my life to provide comfort... That it will be alright! God never breaks a promise & I must lean not unto my own understand...TRUST God! That is the answer I believe. Amen.

Kat God is doing amazing things at my college bible study Im leading with one other person. Weve had bible study every week for a month so far and its been challenging, but great. Weve been able to form a community a students that provide dinner once every other month so they can have a dinner meal with each other every week before the bible study. Ive seen god work through both my co-leader and I, but also through our study. Its only been a month and weve seen vulnerability, patience for each other, and prayer for one and other. Even more importantly, weve created this community that is welcoming and enjoys for others and we seem to grow every week. Praise God!

Deborah I know that I did the correct decision regarding a class....As I read the bible I came across a verse that really stuck out to me and I applied it to the decision i needed to make! God has a purpose and reason for everything! and we as Christians need to stand up for what we believe in: JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR!
