Cheryl We adopted a sibling group of 3, 15 months ago. While most of them are settling in, we have one who is very challenging to parent. We face 6-8 tantrums a week and I have no idea how to parent that. He will not respect my authority over him. He rejects me and lashes out at me. He has a deep mother wound and I am the focus of all his pain and anger. Please pray for his heart and his brain to heal so that he can become the man of God he was created to be. I am a very strong willed person. I believe that God gave me my will. As long as I use it to work for Him. I am strong enough to love my son to heal, but I grow weary. I am under so much stress that I dont sleep well. I just need a break. I need to see results from all the hard work that I am pouring into my son. He needs more than I can give. I have tried many avenues to get help and I run into road blocks all the time. One counselor threatened to turn us in to Childrens Service because he didnt agree with our parenting style. It was a blow and a betrayal. I was deeply hurt. And I often despair. Thank you for your prayers and support. I can use all the help I can get in this endeavor of parenting......

God has been showing me how important family is and my youth leader told me that when it comes to evangelism, family should always be the first people one must share Christ to. God has been calling me to go on missions trips but I know that before I start sharing the Gospel to my friends, classmates and strangers, I must set my priority straight and plant the seed in their lives, giving them up to God and trusting in Him to work in their hearts. So please pray that my mom would come to have a closer relationship with the Lord and that my other family members would come to accept me as a believer pursuing the Lord. home I have been praying for my ex-husband for years, praying that he will find God, hoping that we could finally overcome our differences and put our family back together.He dealt me such a horrible blow last week that he is getting back together with the woman who broke up our marriage in the first place, after we had been discussing us dating again. I am so angry and hurt, and I dont know how to speak to him or be around him. I know its necessary for the kids sake, but I just dont know how.I dont know how to let go of the hurt, forgive him, and move forward, much less pray for him. But as my childrens father, I believe he is still part of my family, even if he has another family, and it is still my job to pray for him.I would so appreciate prayers to fight the good fight.

Lamar Hello my name is Lamar Pugh and I really need to pray with some body and get this prayer out. Im volunteer at H.A.L.O. here in Oakly and we are under some heavy battles right now and we just need prayer help. Please pray for are former president Tam Reed. She has been voted off the board because of the wicked people that control half of the board.They are like wolves attacking sheep ,Tam has work over 60 to 80 hours during the week severing the animals and giving the animals the best life they can ask for.She gives her heart and soul to the animals and half the board does not care about the animals but the money they get from them. Tam has had three surgerys and one more coming up on Monday. She has put up with so much drama and games from these people. They have totally have wipe her out, top the stress from running a place like H.A.L.O. ,add the emotional pull from saving animals that almost could died. Taking from animals shelters where they come close to being putting down. So it has been a rough year for tam and to add to tough year, her son Nick Reed became Marine and is now in Hawaii severing and protecting our country. Please pray for her stress ,for a good surgery,please pray for comfort and love.Please pray for Godly people to be round her and support her. please pray for the volunteers at halo and pray for comfort .Pray for the lord to take their pain so they can keep doing his will. Pray for wisdom and strength so they can help the lord .Please also pray for Renee tam sister , she also being attack by these boards members. Renee is the caregiver for halo and lives on site. She has been working vary hard and goes out of her way for the greater good for H.A.L.O. Always being a good teacher for the young and being a good example of Godly women. She has done more then what she was to suppose to do. She now being face with being homeless and having no where to go.because the evil board members has kick out her and now the battle has began. Nicole I know that Ive come to this forum before with this, but here goes, I developed an eating disorder a few years ago, and Ive been in on and off recovery ever since. Not a whole lot of people know (my 3 close friends do but not anyone else) And I dont know.. Lately I just have no desire to get better. I think I just completely gave in. I dont care anymore. I told my friend Jane the other day that I have a goal weight and what it was and she said, youre going to be dead before you reach that weight. Im not suicidal but if I died in the attempt to get to this, I dont think I would care too much. I quit counseling. I just wish I could be normal. I guess I need prayer for the desire to recover first, and then the strength. I need God so much right now. Thanks guys for your prayers.

Eliza My husband goes to court today. Please pray that they give him a chance. We had a arquement in the past that they are trying to put him in jail for. WE both were at fault but he is paying the bigger price. We could lose everything because of it. The arquement wasnt that bad but now its against the law to have arquements. diana i actually have 2 prayer requests.1. is that once our house sells me aunt Christina) who is the trustee distributes the funds evenly instead of holding onto the money like shes trying to do. That she distributes all the funds including buying my dad (wolfy) out on the house that she wants to liv in instead of selling.that my husband kids and I get approved for the mobile home we are trying to purchase and my parents find a mobile home in their price range and get approved. that we get the extra funds to pay off bills purchase cars, furniture and all the other items we need to purchase, as well as having the funds to get my teeth taken care of.2. My second prayer request is for my teeth for the past year i am having teeth problems and have several teeth that need to be pulled however I do not have the funds to get them pulled and my fear keeps overwhelming m, and I can not seem to find a decent dentist.

jennifer Hello everyone, and thanks again for your prayers for Mary Cengic in Tucson, Az. She has not let anyone take her to her appointments for radiation, and seems to think God has forgotten her. She also is drinking heavily, and is pushing us all away. She does not want to hear the name of Jesus , and I think the enemy is very angry at all of our prayers going up to the King Of Kings on her behalf.Please dont stop praying, my daughter Vanessa is very thankful and her husband Emil also. Caitlyn Thank you everyone for praying with me. Othello is doing a lot better. He is home adn playing and as sweet as ever. I have known for a long time that God answers prayers in mysterious ways but this was one of the times that he shows us exactly his power. Continue to pray that othello (our puppy) continues to grow strong and for my husband and myself. But I thank everyone for there prayers because he is doing much better.

I know that this is not the typical prayer request, but I really need prayers for my 16 week old puppy. His name is Othello and he is a sweet, loving, beagle puppy. He is in the hospital right now in an oxygen tank because his lungs were full of fluid and he needs help breathing. My husband and I are trying everything we can to help him, but we are both students and both work to pay the bills. His treatment is very expensive but we are doing all we can. I know that God only puts obstacles in our lives that we can handle and that will make us better people but it is still heartbreaking when something so innocent is struggling so much. Please pray that we are able to pay for his treatment and that he recovers and that we come closer to God in this tough time. Thank you.

Rachel About a week after I posted this I did fall back into my old ways. And doing that really sent my whole world crashing down. I had never felt so cold to God and so lost before in my life. But God restored me. It almost feels like starting over, but I think starting over is a good thing in this case. In a very strange way...my prayer was answered.

Christopher Wow the big man upstairs sure works fast when you just believe and trust in him. I barely posted my prayer request yesterday, and my wife just found out that her work contract will be extended until December 31st, and possibly until June 30th. Praise be to the Lord and his Holy son.

My grandpa is in the hospital with health problems. He had two strokes in about a year. he had the strokes back to back. He was close to dieing but our friends and family members prayed alot. the lord answerd our prayers. He began to walk and talk normaly again. but now he is having some more health problems. My grandpa is in the hospital with health problems. He had two strokes in about a year. he had the strokes back to back. He was close to dieing but our friends and family members prayed alot. the lord answerd our prayers. He began to walk and talk normaly again. but now he is having some more health problems. I ask for people to prey for my grandpa evans. Thank you, God bless!!
Deborah I know that I did the correct decision regarding a class....As I read the bible I came across a verse that really stuck out to me and I applied it to the decision i needed to make! God has a purpose and reason for everything! and we as Christians need to stand up for what we believe in: JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR! Thank You, GOD because you speak to us and tell us what to do..... and Father God please all those that have been praying for me!

Deborah To God be all the Glory!!!! God is always there for HIS children!! Just like the scripture says "I have never seen the Just forsaken....." God was with us in the courtroom as HE is ALWAYS with us no matter what happens!!! I just need to give thanks and Glory to God for what HE did! HE IS ABLE!!! Kimberly I would to thank each and everyone that prayed for me and my husband. The situation has gotten better. We still have work to do but I see improvement.

marsha Unfortunately, this prayer has not been answered. After several frustrating phone calls to the hospital, which is about 4 hours away, I am no closer to getting there for the medical care than I was before. There is no help available to me and I cannot afford to go there on my own. Still praying for a miracle.

Judith Please continue to pray. We got change of venue to the Los Angeles Federal Court. Jim will be arraigned in that court on Sept.13th 8:00 A.M. Our attorney will ask for certain measures of pre-trial services to be discontinued such as removing the EMD and end the court ordered counseling. The counselor said that Jim is stable and shouldnt have to be going thru that. At this arraignment a judge will be assigned in this District and then probably in 30-60 days we will go before that judge and ask for dismissal. Please keep praying. I am so thankful for all of your prayers. God has given us peace in our souls

Lavinia Thank You Everyone! (for continually praying for me. i get my emails sent to my phone and the constant reminder that there were people praying for me is extremely helpful and great for courage and perserverance boosters!)
Well I talked to my counselor at school and she says that she has a very involved test that she can give me to help me find out what would be a good career for me. I personally think that this is the way that God is going to show my career to me, i am worried but strangely excited. Also for my lugubrious outloook on life. I have decided and am trying my best to change and just do everything I do for God. Its extremely difficult but I also have noticed a little more pep in my step and just the deeds that I have been doing (cleaning and helping people out more) thank you so much again. for praying for me and just being there spiratually for me through everything that i needed on my path this past few week/weeks.

Im confused with what God wants me to be. Im thinking a missionary, but I know that in my family I am more expected to go to school and have a conventional job even though we are all Christian. I want to give my all to God but I dont know if missionary work is what is for me. Although I dont know whawt it is. In addition, I get stressed easily and frustrated easily. I think that depression runs in my family, but its hard to tell because most peoople are dead. I am slightly depressed (really depressed) when confused or frustrated. I have contemplated suicide and when I get angry I also feel those feelings. Please pray for me to find what I need to do to honor God with the remainder of my life and for Him to come and be with me when I am feeling lugubrious. Thanks so Much?

Rebecca Part of it has been ! He is out of the hospital and doing better !! That I thank God for very much ! As for us Im still unsure, I know in my heart that we are still meant to be and Im not giving up after 23 yrs. God knows Im not giving up ! Thank u to all that r praying for us and please dont stop !

Sarah Hannah had a healthy baby boy the end of July (I was just now informed). All went well, and I thank you for your prayers.
Helena has had some issues, but so far both she and the baby are okay and have made it through a car accident. She is due in December.

Her husband of, like, 2 years has been charged with drug abuse, and now people are questioning her too, but shes innocent. Alicia My boyfriend, Has come back home. In fact he came back one that very night. We were able to communicate and get things off our shoulders. PLease continue to pray for us, communication, trust, salvation for him, for him to rely on God, God to reveal himself to him, etc!

John In the name of Jesus, I pray that God eases the tension between your boyfriend and you. I pray that the Lord gives you the strength and humility to maintain your composure while He shines His light on your boyfriend to better understand your feelings. I pray that Gods guiding light will help your boyfriend understand why you are feeling the way you do or ask why you do so that both of you can open up those important channels of communication.
