Veronica One and a half years after moving 3500 miles across the country, my husband, along with 279 other employees were laid off...without notice. Many of his former coworkers are struggling. The majority of them sold everything and packed up their lives to move to another state and start a new life. By the grace of God, we have not been put in a situation where we have to worry or wonder where our next meal will come from or how well pay rent...but unfortunately I cannot say that for everyone else. I ask that you pray with me, that during this trying time those displaced employees find Jesus. That they call upon the Lord and see that can trust Him and lean on Him. I pray that through this, they can grasp an understanding on how much God loves them and how he wants to help them...they just have to let Him in. I pray that everyone affected by this recovers quickly and that depression does not sink in.
I also ask that you pray for my family. My husband does need work, yes. But I pray that the Lord leads us to the place where we can make the most impact for Him. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to pray with me. We appreciate it. God bless you and yours!! :)

Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

DIANE I pray for my Mum that she feels peace, love, and healing from physical and psycological pain. Please give her strengthi and confidence in her quest to train to be a preacher. Would you please pray that my upcoming surgery willl be a complete success as it is very high risk surgery. I also pray that my shoulder will soon be healed and that I will enjoy good health and no pain. I pray for inner confidence, self esteem and to feel valued and loved. L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. He WONT seek Gods will. He can only see the fear that satan has put before him. He is a good man, but is being absolutely spiritually attacked. jennifer Hello everyone, and thanks again for your prayers for Mary Cengic in Tucson, Az. She has not let anyone take her to her appointments for radiation, and seems to think God has forgotten her. She also is drinking heavily, and is pushing us all away. She does not want to hear the name of Jesus , and I think the enemy is very angry at all of our prayers going up to the King Of Kings on her behalf.Please dont stop praying, my daughter Vanessa is very thankful and her husband Emil also. Thanks for being on the frontlines of this spiritual attack.....ephesians 6:12 For we battle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,against the rulers of the darkness of this world , against spiritual wickedness in high places....Thanks to ALL OF YOU, we are in a battle bigger than we ever could realize with our finite minds. Caitlyn Thank you everyone for praying with me. Othello is doing a lot better. He is home adn playing and as sweet as ever. I have known for a long time that God answers prayers in mysterious ways but this was one of the times that he shows us exactly his power. Continue to pray that othello (our puppy) continues to grow strong and for my husband and myself. But I thank everyone for there prayers because he is doing much better.

I know that this is not the typical prayer request, but I really need prayers for my 16 week old puppy. His name is Othello and he is a sweet, loving, beagle puppy. He is in the hospital right now in an oxygen tank because his lungs were full of fluid and he needs help breathing. My husband and I are trying everything we can to help him, but we are both students and both work to pay the bills. His treatment is very expensive but we are doing all we can. I know that God only puts obstacles in our lives that we can handle and that will make us better people but it is still heartbreaking when something so innocent is struggling so much. Please pray that we are able to pay for his treatment and that he recovers and that we come closer to God in this tough time. Thank you.

Rachel About a week after I posted this I did fall back into my old ways. And doing that really sent my whole world crashing down. I had never felt so cold to God and so lost before in my life. But God restored me. It almost feels like starting over, but I think starting over is a good thing in this case. In a very strange way...my prayer was answered.

Christopher Wow the big man upstairs sure works fast when you just believe and trust in him. I barely posted my prayer request yesterday, and my wife just found out that her work contract will be extended until December 31st, and possibly until June 30th. Praise be to the Lord and his Holy son.

My grandpa is in the hospital with health problems. He had two strokes in about a year. he had the strokes back to back. He was close to dieing but our friends and family members prayed alot. the lord answerd our prayers. He began to walk and talk normaly again. but now he is having some more health problems. Deborah I know that I did the correct decision regarding a class....As I read the bible I came across a verse that really stuck out to me and I applied it to the decision i needed to make! God has a purpose and reason for everything! and we as Christians need to stand up for what we believe in: JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR! Kimberly I would to thank each and everyone that prayed for me and my husband. The situation has gotten better. We still have work to do but I see improvement.

marsha Unfortunately, this prayer has not been answered. After several frustrating phone calls to the hospital, which is about 4 hours away, I am no closer to getting there for the medical care than I was before. There is no help available to me and I cannot afford to go there on my own. Still praying for a miracle.

Judith Please continue to pray. We got change of venue to the Los Angeles Federal Court. Jim will be arraigned in that court on Sept.13th 8:00 A.M. Our attorney will ask for certain measures of pre-trial services to be discontinued such as removing the EMD and end the court ordered counseling. The counselor said that Jim is stable and shouldnt have to be going thru that. At this arraignment a judge will be assigned in this District and then probably in 30-60 days we will go before that judge and ask for dismissal. Please keep praying. I am so thankful for all of your prayers. God has given us peace in our souls

Lavinia Thank You Everyone! (for continually praying for me. i get my emails sent to my phone and the constant reminder that there were people praying for me is extremely helpful and great for courage and perserverance boosters!)
Well I talked to my counselor at school and she says that she has a very involved test that she can give me to help me find out what would be a good career for me. I personally think that this is the way that God is going to show my career to me, i am worried but strangely excited. Also for my lugubrious outloook on life. I have decided and am trying my best to change and just do everything I do for God. Its extremely difficult but I also have noticed a little more pep in my step and just the deeds that I have been doing (cleaning and helping people out more) thank you so much again. for praying for me and just being there spiratually for me through everything that i needed on my path this past few week/weeks.

Im confused with what God wants me to be. Im thinking a missionary, but I know that in my family I am more expected to go to school and have a conventional job even though we are all Christian. I want to give my all to God but I dont know if missionary work is what is for me. Although I dont know whawt it is. In addition, I get stressed easily and frustrated easily. I think that depression runs in my family, but its hard to tell because most peoople are dead. I am slightly depressed (really depressed) when confused or frustrated. I have contemplated suicide and when I get angry I also feel those feelings. Please pray for me to find what I need to do to honor God with the remainder of my life and for Him to come and be with me when I am feeling lugubrious. Thanks so Much?

Rebecca Part of it has been ! He is out of the hospital and doing better !! That I thank God for very much ! As for us Im still unsure, I know in my heart that we are still meant to be and Im not giving up after 23 yrs. God knows Im not giving up ! Thank u to all that r praying for us and please dont stop !

Sarah Hannah had a healthy baby boy the end of July (I was just now informed). All went well, and I thank you for your prayers.
Helena has had some issues, but so far both she and the baby are okay and have made it through a car accident. She is due in December.

Alicia My boyfriend, Has come back home. In fact he came back one that very night. We were able to communicate and get things off our shoulders. PLease continue to pray for us, communication, trust, salvation for him, for him to rely on God, God to reveal himself to him, etc!

John In the name of Jesus, I pray that God eases the tension between your boyfriend and you. I pray that the Lord gives you the strength and humility to maintain your composure while He shines His light on your boyfriend to better understand your feelings. I pray that Gods guiding light will help your boyfriend understand why you are feeling the way you do or ask why you do so that both of you can open up those important channels of communication.
