Veronica One and a half years after moving 3500 miles across the country, my husband, along with 279 other employees were laid off...without notice. Many of his former coworkers are struggling. The majority of them sold everything and packed up their lives to move to another state and start a new life. By the grace of God, we have not been put in a situation where we have to worry or wonder where our next meal will come from or how well pay rent...but unfortunately I cannot say that for everyone else. I ask that you pray with me, that during this trying time those displaced employees find Jesus. That they call upon the Lord and see that can trust Him and lean on Him. I pray that through this, they can grasp an understanding on how much God loves them and how he wants to help them...they just have to let Him in. I pray that everyone affected by this recovers quickly and that depression does not sink in.
I also ask that you pray for my family. My husband does need work, yes. But I pray that the Lord leads us to the place where we can make the most impact for Him. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to pray with me. We appreciate it. God bless you and yours!! :)

Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. He WONT seek Gods will. He can only see the fear that satan has put before him. He is a good man, but is being absolutely spiritually attacked. if you guys are into praying for animals, we brought our 2 rams(billy and bob) home yesterday and they started fighting over the female sheep, they were backing pu like 20 feet and slamming into each other. they hit one last time and bob walked away the victor and billy hasnt gotten up since. he is still breatheing and his heart is still beating but he wont get up and i have no idea what is wrong with him. :( please pray that god will either heal him or end his suffering.

Zombie Pickles A few weeks ago at church, My friend told me she had stopped cutting becuase she realized it was bad for her. She talked it out with her parents adn they apologized for adding stress to her life and she said sorry for being mad at everyone. Thank you for all your prayer. She is still has issues, but I know that she has been way happier now.

I have a friend who cuts. It is really hard on me because she come to church and all, but she never listens. I think "If your going to come to church for show, then dont come to church!" But then I think that God has way of getting to people even if they dont want to listen. On day, we were at a youth event and she showed her scars. She told me that everyone think she is a failure and that, because of the music she listens to and the way she dresses, people tell her that she is a daughter of Satan. It hurts her alot and she wont realize that God is the only way to heal her. She also has around five bf. at least that is what she tells me. Almost every day she comes into church and is like "My boyfrined broke up with me."

Don My son dedicated his life to Christ yesterday. Im very proud of him and overjoyed at the work our Lord is doing in his life. His walk has just begun and I pray I will be a strong spiritual leader in his life. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. The angles in heaven are rejoicing!!

My wife is battling with me over my sons desire to go to a Christian church instead the Catholic Church he was baptized in. She is a loving wife and great mother and a devout Catholic. My son as fought with her for as many years as I can remember bout going to Catholic Church saying I get nothing out of it One day he asked me if he could go to my Church. XDeadMan Praise God. One stronghold Ive been dealing with in this is the fact of my unwillingness to forgive and let go. It is true that one can preach forgiveness with ease and even ignorance until that person has actually experienced a hardness of heart himself. God sure teaches hard lessons. But I thank him for continuing to break me. This prayer request still needs much attention though :)

At one time we all shared and served at the same church but since have went our separate ways. I have never felt or experienced anything harder in my life with the exception of my sister and nephews death in 1992. Please pray for continued healing of hearts in this. This may seem hard to understand or not even worthy of prayer but if anyone has ever experienced separation at a church level, it can be one of the most difficult and heart wrenching things to go through. Senzy Thank you all so much for being with me in prayer. Last week my fiance received a vision from the Lord about us; it strengthened us so much and trust God to walk us through this journey. All has been well and we still pray that we remain stable until I finish school in May and head back home where everything will work out normally. I would like to pray that God makes the choice for him that is best for him...he has in the past gotten into drugs . he could go to treatment before he goes to the halfway house if that is what God chooses for him. Please pray that he gets the help that he needs to stay clean and go through life in the right direction. He has a bible and Im quite sure he reads it. But so far I dont think he has given himself to the lord almighty!! I continue to pray for what God thinks is best for him. Thanks to everyone for their prayers!!

Please pray with me for my grandson, Louis Abbs. He is locked up in jail on Franklin street in Houston, Texas. He has a court appointed lawyer that does not believe he is innocent. He was going with a young lady that has a little boy that Louis used to bring over and he would take him to church with us. Hes not with her anymore and they are saying the little boy claims Louis exposed himself to him. I told Louis if he didnt do it to not confess, but pray 3 times a day and I will be praying also. I went to court to be with him October 7th, but they never called him. He has been to court several times, but his lawyer keeps rescheduling it because the way she talks I think she wants him to plead guilty.

Bobby My marriage has slowly gotten back on track but the constant arguing over my newfound relationship with the Lord has actually stopped. Thank You Jesus for all you have done in me and my life!!

Since then Ive wanted to change all my former ways and be not only a better husband and father, but just an overall better person. Eric God Bless You Bobby! Dont faulter in your new life with Christ. Understand your wifes anger and listen to her, let her get it out. Pray with her and lay those hurt feeling and anger at Gods feet. He wants us to turn our struggles over to Him.

During my own marital issues I have just found out that my own father is considering leaving my mother. She has had multiple knee surgeries, has sleep apnea so she must sleep with a mask on her face, has fibromyalgia, and her anxiety causes her to need all sorts of anti-depressants and sleeping pills just to get some restless sleep. Well he says he cant take it anymore. She just told him she needs to have her other knee completely replaced (shes already had one). At that he told her "I cant do this anymore" and hung up on her. He is in the Navy and stationed in San Diego but she opted to stay here in Texas. She feels like its her fault hes considering it becasue SHES the one falling apart, physically. Please pray that my mother can find the healing that only Christ can offer and also that my father can feel the love that God has for us and returns to my mother. Also pray that my anger towards my father will be replaced with compassion and understanding, as all I can think about right now is how disgusted I am towards him.

Marieny well i was more comfortable around her and i gotta say i was really happy with the progress i made ,i think it was awesome. i didnt get to the point where im comfortable singing but i know that will take more time,so til then ill keep on trying. i do have one thing i need prayer for if you dont mind,this same cousin, ive told her i love her many times in my life and never have i ever gotten an i love you too or anything like it. i see that shes constantly telling her friends "love you" and stuff like that and it hurts me,she has no idea how much even though i have tried to let her know how that makes me feel. the other day when i said i love you to her she just laughed and i asked her why she laughs when i say that but she said she doesnt. in the end she said "you can be mad and hate me now,i dont care,same as everyone else" i couldnt believe she said that cuz i have always shown that i care for/about her so i told her "im not mad at you and i dont hate you,i just wanted to know,and you know im not like everybody else" she said nothing back. why does it feel like she doesnt love me:(

M F Father thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Thank You that You have blessed us with every spiritual gift from heaven through Christ.
