Jonathan Well, for more than 11 years, Ive known this lady and in Decemeber, we finally started to elevate our friendship to beyond that. During this transition, Ive asked friends to pray for me that God would help me be ready for it and to give me the wisdom and guidance to hold it down, because I know what its like me to mess things up due to my comfort in my confidence of not worrying about things falling apart. Lately, Ive sensed some lack of interest since this has been going a little lightly.. some examples could be her acting all germaphobe when I kiss her on the cheek or put my arm around her... and let me stop in the middle of this to just point out that in Brooklyn, most Christians in relationships are usually NOT the most conservative in case thats what some reading may be thinking first hand before they can even understand my point.... Other recent examples were me texting her I love you which we usually tell each other, and she replied with Ditto... I replied back with OK Demi lol as an indication from the Movie Ghost where that phrase was made famous which Im not even sure she saw it... Most recently, I told her I love you over the phone, and she said OK though she was very tired at the time, and on our last phone convo I told her I missed her and she told me I saw her The Other Day.... Today is Wednsday... The other day she is talking about is last week Thursday. Please understand that this relationship is a huge transition for me and I dont want to mess this up, so please pray for wisdom and guidance throughout this, and if I may be concerned over NOTHING, which I would LOVE to find out, then please pray that God would confirm that to me if so, because Im a bit afraid. Even as I trust in the Lord, I can still be afraid because he may have will that I dont understand and that has happened to me more than once before. So please keep me in prayer regarding this. Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

Zoe Ann My husband moved out of our house last April....long, painful story. Two months ago he admitted to a forty year addiction to pornography. I am numb, angry, poured out. 6 kids. Homeschooling. In ministry with evangelism, outreach, prayer. I am in constant pain with headaches, tinnitus, fatigue. My mother died in front of my eyes of a massive heart attack a few months ago. My best friend, my grandma, died five months prior to that. I am so very done with this life. Jesus somehow keeps my heart beating....please pray for me and my marriage and my kids, and for the testimony of Gods grace. Oh, and please pray for finacial matters. Due to his severe Adult ADD, my husband has lost 3 jobs in 4 years.

I am so blessed to share my life with these extraordinary people and I thank you for this continued blessing. Heavenly Father, I would like to pray for my partner who is in a detention centre in Australia. You have blessed me with finding this beautfiul and amazing man and am asking for your power and stength to help me release him from his current nightmare which he has been enduring for the past two years coming. Please my heavenly father, give him the strength and hope to see his future and please my father, give me the positive thoughts and strength to help him get through this time and help us be together as we should be so we can begin to enjoy our lives as we would so love to do. J & J My (29yo) Husband was offered an expensive procedure to insert permanent teeth implants, pro-Bono(free) which is a HUGE blessing; now we have to come up with the funds for the trips down south (6 hour drive, that weve made twice now and will again 2 more times) and the expensive teeth in the next 4-6 months. He is also having two wisdom teeth removed before the implants are done, and because of their location near the nerve there is cause for concern - but we are giving this to God to handle. We are so very thankful to the Dr for offering this procedure and to the Heavenly Father for blessing us with this incredible opportunity! We have signed the release forms for the video interview, photographs and procedure video to be published. My husbands case will be made public to a medical study group (In Sacramento, CA) and online on the Doctors site, filmed and other Doctors will be in the room during the procedure for educational purposes. We are excited; not nervous or worried about the procedure but are focused on saving money to co-labor with God on this blessing. God has been calling my Husband and myself to a mission trip to Rwanda Africa with our church later this year, we want to go but will have to see how the Father has everything planned for us. All prayers are greatly appreciated. We cant wait for this to be done so we can share an incredible testimony of the Fathers grace and love. Thank you for your time! - The Hoovers

Jessica My daughter is a year old and has severe eczema. She is highly allergic to a lot of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, bananas and every time she eats them, her lip starts to swell and she gets itchy everywhere. She is still highly dependent on her soy milk formula, but she doesnt receive the proper nutrients she needs to grow up healthy and strong. Please help me pray that either she grows out of these allergies or we find a medication she can take so she can tolerate eating.

Sara My prayer is for my friend who is now in the state prison for a foolish thing he did while he was young. This crime wasnt violent What so ever. It was for stealing a pair of speakers. And now Hes doing a year in prison just because he was linked with other charges that they cant prove. I know his heart, hes honestly a sweet guy and would do anything for me an for his family an other friends. Hes been my call in the middle of the night on more than one occasion just to hear him say its gonna be okay. I havent gotten a letter back since hes been transferred and I just pray today is the day I get a letter and hopefully some good news. Please pray for his protection while hes in and pray he stays in touch the best he can.

Rachel I was supposed to be one of those babies, but the Lord performed a miracle, twice. Neither abortion attempts thru meds worked. Im 50 and have been blessed with touching thousands of lives thru ministry. You never know what each life can do and who they can touch. May the Lord raise us all up to stop this tragedy. Lord please save babies from this and cradle those that have never been born to live this life...

They all went away and we have not spoken since I dont know why other than silly displaced anger but whatever the trouble, I miss them so much especially since my parents are gone and there is a great emptiness in my heart where they once where it is much like when my parents died my whole family died with them and now the pain is worst in all their loss. Nothing can seperate us from the Lord except our own self, our arrogance and stubbornness. Pray that the Lord may change this heart of his and open up his eyes to see the presence of God in his life. (Like right now for example) Im just filled with random rage and hate and sorrow. Nothing needs to happen to trigger an urge to cut. It just happens. Please, pray for internal peace, and for the strength to withhold from cutting. I dont want to go back to my old ways. Ive come too far to give up (over 1 year without cutting). Thanks, God Bless.

Satan is filling me with his lies and I feel like I have been letting him win, and sometimes have been believing his lies. It has gotten so bad that I have even doubted that he was there anymore and it made me really worried and scared. I dont want to go away from God and live for myself and Satan again. I wouldnt know what to do without Jesus. He has brung me so far and no I am getting attacked really bad by Satan, it hurts, and it scares me a lot. I feel like I Have just been ignoring God all day and then I read my Bible and pray at night. I do try to do what is right for God... But I have just been filling my day with not exactly things that dishonor God but things that make me so busy I dont take time to realize he is there and I want to be able to spend time with him all day and be close to him all day. So however you feel you should pray for my situation, please do. Thank You!

Darcy Well all of you who prayed for me... Thank you! I havent had cyber sex with the new guy in like a month and a half. I am starting to feel something again. I have learned that my Body and who I am are precious and that I dont have to feel like I have to give it to guys over the internet anymore. I am still learning to say no though. If you could please pray about that too, that would be fantastic! And so yea the guy I was having cyber sex with just asked me to stop and I was glad he did, cause I felt controlled and sometimes like I had to.

David God is crazy! and so good to us! I cant explain in words whats happened to me in more or less over night! I couldnt sleep. I couldnt do anything but seek Gods face! Once I admitted here on C28 and to my friends that I was breaking under the weight of this world. God came to me in such an intimate way. I sat at my table and just cried. I cried out to God for forgiveness. I cried out thanks to him. His presence is so pure! I think the best part is knowing that no matter how much we struggle. God wont let us suffer for too long. He knows us better then we know ourselves. I know now more then ever that its in Christ alone that I stand. And I really want to thank you all for your support through this tough time in my life. God is glorious beyond all comprehension! I love all of you so much! thank you and thank God!

I just want to give up. I remember life being so much simpler before I became a Christian. I know deep down that I can never deny Christ and truly mean it. But there is apart of me that wishes I never knew him or what he did for me. it hurts me so much to say that!!!! I love him too much to walk away. a part of me wants to. God only know how much I love him. And I need him now more than ever. I am loosing the battle and everyday it gets harder! God please save me from this world and save me from myself! you are the starter and the finisher! you dont have to do anything for us yet you do out of pure untarnished and undying love! Nira :) Father i pray that you bless DJ, give him strength right now Father for he needs you. Bless his mind that there may be peace and clarity, allow him to feel your presence allow him to yield and hear you voice Father. I ask that the Holy Spirit lead and guide him the way that you will have. Elena As of today, its a new low point. He stepped out to buy marijuana on chrismas eve, which i found, and now he says he wants very little to do with his family. I believe the issue is more than just marijuana, I believe hes under a severe spiritual attack, and Satan wants to estrange him from his family. He has friends who encourage his estrangement, and has dropped some old good friends. One of his 16 year old friends left his home just before Christmas, and my son wanted him to stay here, but I couldnt because I suspect this other boy uses a lot of drugs. Need more prayer, I feel helpless.

I would like prayer for my 16 year old son. Up until 9 months ago he was following God, had good friends and his personality was characterized by joy. I believe the enemy is attacking him through new so-called friends who are causing harm in every sphere of his life, and marijuana has taken hold of his life and his personality has changed and he is trying to distance himself from his family and everyone who truly cares about him. I am getting him counselling that he doesnt want, starting within a couple of weeks. I need prayer for him to return to God, his family and good friends, and for all those who are harming him to be removed away from his life, especially one particular person (God knows who that is, who is causing the most harm, and has an evil grip on him). I trully feel this is a heavy spiritual attack because the enemy is set on destroying the witnessing for God that my son used to do.

Michele PRAISE HIM! HE is soooo faithful to answer prayer! Back and forth to the endontist, finally endontist says, "were going to have to surgically remove the cyst". So I show up the day of the planned operation. Dr. says, "huh. dry as a bone inside the tooth. The cysts appears to be shrinking by itself. No need for surgery. The medicine I put in there must be working". I thought to myself, "No-- thats JESUS!" Thanks for all your prayers! PRAISE GOD!!!!

Because of the cyst, the bone in my upper jaw has been deteriorating and I have bone loss. Please pray that I be fullly healed and quickly. I am not in pain, praise God, but I am worried that it wont heal. I eventually need to have a root canal done on that tooth.

They recently moved into our house so they can get back on their feet, but they are depressed, and my moms sister cant find a job. My church is really small. It has beena round for 5 tears now and we have been doing nothing but pray that we grow. We usually ahve the same 15-20 people come every sunday morning, on a good day 30-40 (good days meaning holidays). I would just love if we can have more people pray for our church to grow and that we get so many people that we need bigger space and that we have the money for that bigger space. Thank you :)

Daena Half of my prayers answered maybe... Im not sure. But God has been working through my life right now and I feel like hes like somewhere here with me. I dont know exactly where, but it feels like hes always around my heart. :) I am very happy right now and its not just because its almost Christmas. Part of it is that. Please pray for my continued blessings. I was recently blessed with a beautiful baby girl, however she was stillborn due to a cord injury. While I dont understand why her life had to be so brief, my faith is stronger than ever. HE continues to walk with me and HE is my comforter. His healing is evident in my life. I have asked HIM, however, to restore his blessings to me so that maybe I can give birth to another little girl when the time is right. I believe that this will be so, however I would like to submit to the prayer board to please also pray with me for this and for my precious baby girls safekeeping. thanks.
