Sabine Since we moved into our home about 7 months ago, we have become friends with out neighbors. Their son loves playing with my children and we often look after him when they need help. The wife is east Indian and of Seek religion. But recently the opportunity has come up after all of this time that she is interested in knowing about Christianity. This is because her son who is 5 years old, is displaying a lot of jealousy, disrespect and self destructive behavior. Just recently I heard him saying things like "everyone hates me "and "I want to get hit by a car". She sees how my children behave and want her child to bee the same. I tell her that I raise them up using my teaching from Christ. Please pray for me that God will use me to help them and bring them them all to Christ.

Greg My 14 year old daughter is really starting to question God in light of the Connecticut shooting and a 16 year old boy at her high school took his own life. At first it broke my heart hearing her question God, but I quickly realized through God prompting me, that she is going to make this faith her own. She will no longer believe because dad believes. I just need prayer in helping her seek God out. She feels alone and I am trying everything to be there for her. Thank you, God bless.

None of the shelters seem to be accepting and I have no idea what to do. I have been hired at a job but have not started yet. With Love On Your Arms I am really worried about some things in life and being a teen. Im 16 and I dont have a drivers license yet or even have my slip/permit. I dont have a job yet also and my grades werent so good. I have someone in my family who tells me that I need to get my license and a job because I am making people have a hard time. Im worried that I will be stuck in home and not have freedom. I know I should be grateful for many things but there are times when I really dont like being here.

tiffani I recently returned from a missions trip abroad and all seemed well during my time away i.e., i was stress free, i sensed the presence of God everywhere, i felt a sense of community love with others. Since my return, i have been a little overwhelmed with work, school and a friendship relationship which i believe will lead to marriage but lately...ive been doubting. I have known my guy friend for almost a year and a half and due to distance, ministry, grad school and our busy work schedules we arent able to communicate as much as wed like. Please pray that i receive wisdom, patience and guidance as i work through my grad program, search for a new job and wait on marriage.

Sandy My husband of 22 years has left us on our sons 17 th bday for another woman he has started the divorce process 2nd court date is the 17th of January . He does not talk OT text our children they r ages 20, 17, and14 he shows up at my son basketball game to " look good" but he does not try to talk to him or text himHe works as a principal at a behavior program asNd has hired all 5 women he has had an affair with . The kids know because HE TOLD THEM HE DID THE AFFAIRS the co workers will not say anything because they say Egan will fire them - some are claimed to be Christians and they just watch my husband destroy 6 families . Vanessa My husband and I are hoping and praying for Christian friends. There are times when I feel a terrible jealousy rise up in me toward the friendships my brother and sis-in-law have, though I dont think they are always good friendships. My husband is lonely for a Christian man to grow with in Christ, to learn from/with, and just to have a good friend other than myself. What I ask above all is that any who are willing to pray for us, will ask our perfect Creator to make us worthy of having friends. Secondly, please ask Him to work His perfect will in our lives, in spite of our fallen-ness. (sp?) Third, if/when the Creator sees fit, that He would put us in the path of Christians he wants us to build relationships with, and that He will make it clear to us what He wants, as we can be so blind to Him sometimes. :-P Thanks in advance...Im glad to have found this little community where we can hold each other up :-)

Sabine Vanessa, if you are focused on any desire in your life other than serving God that is not Gods will. You are making your desire for Christian friendships your number one. Tying to fulfill the desires of your own heart to gain something - even something like friendship, is not Gods will. That is why you are feeling jealousy. You are allowing your desires blind you to what God has already blessed you with. Dont waste your talent, get out there help people without doing it to help yourself. Friendship is a by product of people doing good and helping each other regularly. Reach out to those that dont fit your profile of a good friend or based on the criteria of being christian. Rather look for people you can be a good friend to, that maybe really need a friend more than you. I pray you and your husband become servants of God rather than self servants. Look at your life and say where is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We must all do this. Then if we discover there is not much there we must change our focus back to God and his will in our lives. When he is there he works through us to make other peoples lives better. In turn we become happier or might even make a friend because it was created by Gods will at work.

Sabine I feel that ever since I found Jesus, my life has become a battle against the Devil. He has been working in my husband who is unsaved, my friends ( old ones unsaved) all new ones have turned out to be Christians, my family (all unsaved). Rejection, isolation, slander and terrible acts have come against me non stop. It seems the more I walk with Jesus the more it comes against me. I had no friends for a few years after I had children but I prayed about it and God has sent me wonderful people in my life. Despite this my ex best friend of many years has been trying to destroy all my work connections in my modeling. I am starting the path of learning how to act for the past two years now - she already knows all the casting directors in the city and is trying to sabotage my chances wherever I go. I know when she has influenced others because they are so different with me. She tells people that "I think I am so holy". Its easy for her to do this since all the people we know are either gay and or non Christian. I ask for someone to pray that she will cease trying to destroy me in my line of work and to people. I dont have her ability to win friends and influence people (her favorite book.) which I told her is very evil. I honestly think that something in her hates me and Jesus in me. My Christianity bothered her soooo much. But when she couldnt snare me with deliberate acts of trying to offend me while we were friends, she just one day started avoiding any contact with me. The next time I saw her I was left with a horrible sick feeling in my stomach for days. Then she told me that I have changed and that I am crazy (she was so full of hatred). All of this took place over two years ago and is still affecting my work because she does not stop .Please pray for her that she will come to know Jesus and that any evil working in her will be bound through the name Jesus. Please pray that my husband will come to know Christ and be baptized. The same goes for the rest of my family and in-laws. Pray for me that God will use me for his purpose wherever and whatever I am doing, and that he will turn all my curses into blessings, in Jesus name.

michael When I pray, I pray knowing that God will answer them and I feel the know in your prays. Thank you for your faith. Also for those who are struggling with whatever, receive the spirit, it will change your life. If you dont know what Im talking about research receiving the Holy Spirit in your life. A lot of churches dont emphasize the importance of the Holy Spirit, read 1 and 2 Corinthians if you want to learn more. Its changed my life, correction the Holy Spirit has changed my life!

Rachel Spoon Thanks everyone. I feel so much better. I dont feel as dirty and tainted anymore. I know that even though I made a mistake, God still loves me. It wont happen again. Pray for Kelly and Mike to have a yearning for the Word of God and the wholeness of reconciliation of all Mikes 4 grown children as they are meeting for the first time next week. The 4 grown children in their twenties have never met and the Dad is meeting them for the first time as adults..Pray Gods love will heal their lives please! The stepmother of all of them has two small children at home and is having trouble accepting the one girl out of the 4 children. The couple are both believers however are not in a strong Word based church. Thank you

Ruth Thanks for all of your prayers for our families move, it has gone very well! Our dog safely made it over on the same flight with no problems. Our vehicle was delivered to us today and our household goods should be delivered tomorrow. So we can finally get fully settled. I start my new position next Monday, so please continue to pray as I could really use it. I have been with the company eight and a half years but starting in a new office in the other side of the country is like starting a new job or so it seems, I am really nervous. But am so happy to be where we are. Lovin the new area and our new home! Thank you God for all of the blessings!

This move has been a deep desire for us for many years, and in 09 the Lord opened the doors for us to make the move. We spent several months praying about the move and honestly feel that it is Gods will for us to make this life-changing journey. Please pray for traveling mercies, our dog who will have to fly with our luggage (this is one factor that is making us very nervous, but we are trusting the Lord), and all will go well with the house, moving company, etc. Please also pray that either my brother, wife, or myself will be able to find work after we arrive. My mother is getting a transfer with her employer, but a second income will ease the burden on her. Thank you so much and God bless!!

Jessica The doctors got him stabilized and got his lung re-inflated and stopped the infection. They also got his wound closed and clean. The family is back home again and he is doing fine. Just continue to pray that the family and the baby are taken care of and that God continues to heal the child. Thank you so much for the prayers. I know that the family appreciates them so much!

My friends son who I asked prayer for last week b/c hes a five month old that had to have heart surgery was taken back to the hospital. Shortly after they released him to go home his lung collapsed and he has an infection. I just got updated today. They are doing more surgeries to help get rid of the infection and to make sure everything is ok. Hes going to be in ICU for a while. They had to put some sort of sponge around his heart to stop the infection. Please be in prayer for this family.

Michelle There was a skit at church last night that really moved me. A man walking along and several people would entice him to go drink, do drugs, go to women. Each time he went over to them, they would beat him down to the ground. He would leave and once again they would convince him to join them to only beat him down again. All along Jesus was standing by watching it all, waiting to rescue him. Things of this world will lead to destruction and ultimately spiritual death on this earth and for eternity. Dont let the enemy deceive you. You need real passion and real intimacy, God knows how to give it to you because HE CREATED IT! If you submit to Him! He will bring you true fulfillment but, you must first believe. Nothing is impossible with God but, he leaves the choice up to us. He doesnt want to take anything away from us, he knows there is no true fulfillment in sin. True intimacy is when the Lord brings you someone who truely loves you for you and you are both righteous in His sight and come together as man and wife, nothing is more beautiful. KingsKid Dear God, I pray for Gabriella`s friend. I ask that You would show him that You do forgive him for any sins he has ever committed. Show him how much You care for him and that You have an amazing plan for his life. I rebuke the guilt that the devil is trying to hinder him with. Please keep my boyfriend and I lifted in prayer. He has just recently given his life to Christ and joined the ministry that I am a part of. It has been fairly hard for us (especially me) to remain faithful to God and not be intimate with Him. I feel the need more so now than ever to keep our relationship free of intimacy so that God can truly bring him in. We have been to our leader at the church who has prayed and through God has given us the okay to marry and we are about to begin counseling. I am doing my best to remain faithful and he is really trying. We just really want to do things the right way and in Christ.

I am a mother of 3 small childeren my husband and I live in an 844 sq foot house. You can say we need more room. haha Our 3 lttle girls are sharing one very little bedroom Kennedy 5 Asher 3 and Israel 1. We are having a really hard time saving money we know the Lord will provide for us but it never hurts for some extra prays to go up to the thrown for this prayer. Thank u so much for taking the time to pray for other people.

Please pray for the family and friends that are going through this incredibly grieving time. Rachel Spoon Hey everyone! Our church has found a new youth pastor! I havent met him yet, but Im so excited to meet him and share some ideas I have for our youth group. Our group has also grown in size, and we had a few people give their lives to Christ last week!!! Thanks so much for your prayers! Nira :) Father in the name of Jesus i pray that God will Bless you and your youth group, that he will Bless you with a youth pastor like no other. allow more youth to come and want to hear your word, strengthen those that are a part of the youth group now that they will stay strong and read your word daily to show that they are trying to learn and understand. Father Bless them all let your protection rain over all in there church family mainly the youth. In Jesus name Amen. To God be the Glory :) Stay strong my sister keep the faith there is a reason for everything and you are that light of Christ to those around you :)

Rachel We have had some breakthru, but not all. Mother broken leg (tibia), has healed but her right foot is still swollen. It has healed on the skin surface, but it is questionable about underneath the surface. She may still be carrying infection and could still have to have amputated. She will be going back to the doctor in the next week or so...my husband has found a full time temp job that is helping with the finances. We are still having trouble with making both the mortgage and chapter 13 (bankruptcy) trustee payments. Getting both of them is the problem. We can get one or the other. We have to pay both to keep our home. Total needed just for them is about $1300 a month. Joe may have some side work this month to help, but everyone is delaying starting the projects for the second time. Even with this new temp job, he is only making half of what he normally was making...there is no change in my brother Paul or nephew Ian. So things are starting to be answered but more prayer is needed. Thank you all for praying for us and our familys needs. Will update again soon...Rachel

My prayer request is for my family. Some need salvation and others need to return to serving the Lord as they did years ago. They have allowed the things in life to make them grow cold in their walk. My brother, Paul, needs the strong hand from the Lord in his life, as he is in open rebellion and doing drugs, and drinking. My teenage nephew, Ian, is into smoking, drugs and drinking. His mom is very relaxed in discipline and allowing these things to happen. Ian and Paul have made a commitment to the Lord, but when they pray and dont see the answers they want from prayer, they rebel and turn away. They dont understand that the Lord has a plan for their lives and they have to pray in line with His Word and Will for them. Please pray for them to learn this lesson, and others, and that they will be delivered and return to serving the Lord. I would also like to ask prayer for my mom who has recently broke her leg, and may have to have part of her right foot amputated. She injured it 2 weeks ago when she broke her leg and has diabetes. Her sugar levels are fluctuating and she has passed out 3 times in the past 2 weeks, being found by another family member on the floor. Please pray that whatever is causing this is healed by the Lord and that she can keep her foot and that her leg heals completely and quickly. The only other person I would like to lift up is my husband, Joseph. He has been laid off for over 6 months this year. He is a carpenter. We need prayer that the economy will pick up, not only for him, but others who are also struggling. Sure would be wonderful if his boss, Dave, would call him with new work to do again. Thank you for praying...may the Lord richly bless you...

PTL, Ive had a chance to talk with him about his choices and not being unequally yoked as how we raised him, he sees that now, so I just pray and will continue to pray for him in making wise choices in the future!! Steven Heavenly Father, Your will be done in this situation. This young man could be a Huge blessing to this girl to lead her to Christ thru his actions. However, if he is not spiritually strong enough to resist temptation and she will cause him to pull away from You, I pray you remove this temptation from him. Your will be done. Donna Our son volunteered and did detox! Now he needs inpatient care to finish true recovery. Our daughter will be doing her jail time for her DUIs. I pray she can get therapy as jail does not rehab unfortunately. These are significant steps that have been years coming thanks to God.s plan and your prayers! My heart is full of thanks for all of your prayful efforts. May peace be with you!

Christina THANK YOU everyone for praying for my marriage. Its was a difficult journey but God is always faithful and always right on time. Just when my marriage was at the door of separation, and divorce, God has done an amazing restoration. I can testify that the process was difficult but the restoration was overnight.

I dont want her to begin to cut again, she cried with me and another girl at church for about ten minutes. She need to feel Christ in her life, she needs to know that he id there for her, even though she has sinned.
