eric I have made it through the entire process to become hired a sheriff. I am now at the last test, the polygraph exam. I am really nervous because I have heard they are extremely unreliable and the failure rate is high. Praying that I can pass it and start this new career. I really would like this career and feel it would give me the job security to start a family.

Barbara Just prayer that my kids, esp. my teen sons (one will turn 20 soon) will actually feel or hear from God. As they want to believe but say theyve not heard His voice or seen His hand in their lives. I have, but I know its different for each person and I know God loves them and knows them individually. Nathan I found out the other day that one of the guys that I know has turned atheist and said that he has lost all belief in that God thing completely a few weeks ago. And last year was when he got saved and he was really on fire for God and everyone could see a real change in him. But when I found out about him going to atheist and asked him why he said that he was tired of hypocrite Christians . Of them saying that Christians shouldnt go drink, have premarital sex, and living like the world but him knowing that they went out on the weekends and did the same things that they condemned. Pray that he would give his life back over to God and be on fire as much as when he first started. I invited him to a youth rally in a few weeks but he hasnt responded, pray that he would give it a chance because I believe that he would experience another encounter with Christ .

Servant of God Hi Rosemarie.I have been thorough this before also.Its time to clean house!Literally! Ask God to lead you through his Holy Spirit to lead you to those things in your house or room if living at home and reveal to you those things not of him. Including the jewelry you wear?After you do this pray to God to annoint you and your space you sleep in with his Holy Spirit.Before you go to sleep, read your Bible and afterwards praise God ahead of time for him releasing any spirits of darkness from entering you dreams and dont sleep with any music or TV shows on that are not blessed. Fear is not of God. Neither is anxiety.So I pray God leads you to follow some of my suggestions and pull down your shades tonight and say good bye to the darkness that has been interrupting your sleep.God bless you Rosemarie.Lisa

SkaterGirl Please pray for one of my parents. They are going through a personal crisis and have just started counseling (Praise God!!!). They are going to need all the help they can get, as it is a very big problem. This has put an enourmous strain on the family as well. SkaterGirl Please pray for my sister and me. We are going through a difficult time with a person in our lives who is going through a hard time and putting the stress on us. Even though we are sympathetic and try to be helpful, it has been difficult to deal with and sometimes we are at our wits ends. The strain is especially hard on the two of us, dealing with caring for him/her each day. We are having trouble finding ways to get time for ourselves and shake off the stress. I know there should be ways to do this, Ive just tried everything and sometimes I feel alone and dont know how. It seems like its always there and its really bad some days! Thank you. -SkaterGirl

christopher david There i s a little boy in Africa that was hit by a car (I found out from my girl) and its not like the U.S. there with free healthcare available to the poor. Pray for the boys recovery and for the lady that hit him, she was not at fault but, just the same both parties have ended up paying hospital bills that no one can afford. The price of the U.S. dollar there is almost double what it is worth here. So please keep them in prayer. The little boys name is Tim Welbeck. God Bless and thank you. christopher david This is a follow up prayer request for Lorinda Quest...Ive been talking to Lorinda for about 9 months on the phone, chatting online,etc. Weve gotten to know each other as well as we possibly can without actually being together. We have basically fallen for each other and have been praying for the Lord to do His will in our lives. We have both expressed the desire to get married. We have been praying together and asking God for guidance. This is probably the strangest thing God has ever done to either one of us and we are actually enjoying each others company even though we have never even touched. We both desire for our relationship to go in the direction that He wants it to. We have agreed not to put each other before Christ. Jesus Christ comes first no matter what happens. Unfortunately, I am just a poor college student going to Victory University for my ass. degree in Christian Ministries. She is a student in Africa and she can always attend school here if she can get here. Not only is it killing me that shes in such a dangerous country, but also I forsee no way to get her here nor how to take care of her if/when she does.I am a certified chef, but I have chosen to go back to school to serve Christ. Nathan I have a friend who is like a brother to me that is really needing prayers at this moment. I have been talking to him and he has started to go to church with me. Now he believes in God but I dont know if he KNOWS God. So pray that he would turn his whole life back around to Jesus. He also got laid off from his job a few weeks ago so pray that he might find one soon. He also has a few personal battles that he is going through with his family looking down on him because of his past. Jasper According to the people around me, I have two friends. But i dont feel that way. I started out with excitement. We are all Christians and I was so looking for a fellowship. But after 1 week, i got to know their true nature and now i am starting to develop resentment. I am doing medicine, 3rd year. I have been patient with them for 3 years. but now, whenever i see them, i will think "oh God, do i have to say hi?" They have mocked me, called me a traditional freak for the sake of asking them to read Bible everyday and not only on sundays, the "righteous" show-off and more. I have kept quiet. But recently, I am not able to do that. I feel like talking back to them harshly. One of them is always complaining, talking bad language, and has a bit of pride. the other one is always arguing and tries to prove that she is right and often makes fun of others. Now i am starting to think whether it is Gods will for me to be with them or not. I need your advice and prayer. And please do pray that the hurt they have caused would heal soon and that i would get the strength to forgive them

Jason My son has been in the USAF for almost a year and half now. He worked very hard throughout high school and went to basic training only 6 months after high school graduation. Since the age of 12 all he wanted was to join the USAF. Tomorrow he is taking what is known as his CDCs (Career Development Course), Basically a test about his job. He needs a 75.1 or better to pass. Its a 100 question test. If he fails this test he and his immediate Supervisor have to plead his case before the Base commander for a 2nd chance. If he isnt granted the opportunity at a retake he is discharged from the Airforce, If he is able to retake the test and still fails once again he faces a Discharge. My son Brendon is a hard worker with a strong work ethic, stays out of trouble, and has served well during his time in the service. He does not test well. He nerver has. He is one of those people that knows all the answers but when that piece of paper is set in front of him entitled Test he freezes up. I ask for your prayers in his time of need. Sarah32 Hey Phuti! I love your desire to be one with God, that is so awesome!! I know we all go through different seasons of our lives- sometimes God tests us by removing all those wonderful "feel good" feelings so that we have a choice to make- to grow closer to Him in spite of those wonderful feelings not being there, or to choose to believe that He simply removed His presence because He just doesnt care. Always know he cares for you dear, more than a mom cares for her babe. Feelings will come and go, but God is forever and ever the same! We can also go through these times when we distance ourselves from God, or bring something in thats unpleasing to Him. Whatever it may be, pray to God, scour the Bible for these examples (ie David in Psalms or Jeremiah). I pray that you will find the reason, Phuti,and I pray that you will enjoy this season of your life with Jesus...no matter how you feel. :)

Angel Thank You for all of your prayers, Pastor Emi currently at the border to enter Ghana, My congregation had spoken to him last night shortly after prayer and he stated that his wife and children had pass the Border and is with her sister to get the money to pay the excort, Pastor Emi is still by the border with the excort and will cross over to Ghana at 4:00pm today. Still no news on his congregation. He was crying thanking us and all of you guys for his prayers saying that your prayers kept them alive, that shortly after Emi and his family left their home the Military or the rebel force blow out there home. He thanks everyone who pray and he also ask to keep his daughter and brother in pray that they are still missing.

I need prayers for my father. Well my whole family, but mostly my father now. I am 17 years old in my junior year of high school. My father has bipolar disorder, aka manic depresive. He has manic episodes every now and then. sometimes he has to go to an institution. He is showing signs of going manic again, and at the worst posible tine. He is staring off into space, forgeting things he usualy remembers, becoming obsesed with his religion (in an unhealthy way), and Mom and I practicaly have to force him to eat or drink anything. Those are all the warning signs for him. We have recently aquired a new suv, which is Moms only transportation to dialisys. We live paycheck to paycheck, and that is not enough, we also get government support. If Dad cant work, we have to surrender the car. Without the car, Mom cant get to dialisys. If Mom cant get dialisys then shes dead. Our insurance wont cover transportation. Our family is in no position niether emotionaly nor financialy to go through another manic episode. Please pray for all of us. God bless.

Ernie I think I get what you are trying to do with your music, trying to reach the unsaved through "death metal", but you have to remember Tyler, Jesus Christ overcame death, and life is what Christ is all about. Why not re-name your title in order to represent the Truth of the Gospel, the Good News, why not call it "Life over Death Metal"!?!-or maybe that is in your music already?-just a suggestion, Tyler. Also:Ephesians 5:6-12 ESV Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Robert Things are getting better with Gods help. This week has been hard though and a bit of a set back. A neighbor friend, Steve who was 39, from my old church had been going through a similar problem which I didnt know about. Last Sunday at about this time of the day Steve took his life. He has left a wife, a 3 year old son and 22 month old twin boys. His wife is also expecting. This is very had to take. I pray for his wife and his mum, who had a heart attack on hearing of Steves passing. He was a good man who cared very much for not only his own children but also others. He sponsored 6 children through World Vision.

Erik Thanks to all who prayed, these past couple days have been better than i expected. my grades in school skyrocketed, and im slowly but surely starting to step outside of my comfort zone and talk to people in my classes and in my church; even though i stuttered alot when i was trying to talk.i also got the chance to drive my dream car the other day! man that was a blast. as for the girl, i still like her and im talking to her a little more, but im not in a rush. i figure you all are right and i should just wait for whoever god brings my way;)

To whoever reads this, i have had a rough life. right now my family is in financial trouble, and my dad is in the navy so he is always gone and when he is here the only memories i have of him are when he argues with my mom. this has been going on since as long as i can remember (4 yrs old). on top of that, i never really had a childhood. the extent of what i did have was throwing a foot ball around for a bit once, every other time i was learning about bills and taxes and doing yard work and just about everything else to help my mom out. because of this i have grown to be an out cast socially. i cant even hold a normal conversation with somebody. not to mention ive only had one girlfriend, and it lasted like 2 days so ive basically been single for all 16 years of my life. where as my only best friend has already found a girl that he wants to spend the rest of his life with. a little upsetting on this end. anyways i used to be an alcoholic, because of that i have lost a few brain cells. everyday for the last 4 weeks now something somewhere has gone wrong in my life and it just keeps piling up and its hard to deal with it alone. i like a girl now but i think that someone else is trying to go out with her, and i doubt she even likes me anyways.i feel as if im on the edge of being insane now and i want it all to stop. i need help but i dont really have anyone to help me. i need jesus to step in big time here before i loose it.

Caitlin this is an oppurtunity for you to put your faith to action. This is real, use your faith. The Holy Spirit produces faithfulness in our lives. I will pray for a healing and that through this healing God will reveal this persons purpose to them and that they will carry out what God has laid out for them.

He had a couple of inappropriate "friendships" with other women that have hurt me deeply (one of whom he still works with), and as a result, our marriage has suffered tremendous damage. He has a volatile temper and refuses to go to counseling, so we really need Gods divine intervention. Please pray that Steve will turn his life to Jesus, and that the Lord will heal our marriage, help us recover from the wounds weve suffered and help us return to a place of commitment and love toward each other. Christian God is certainly in the process of answering my prayers, and I would appreciate continued prayer for personal calling, ministry, and purpose along with the salvation of my family. I know now in part what He has told me He will do! It involves transformation in an unusual and purpose fulfilling way, and to use me and my family as an example to the whole body of Christ that He can turn around a seemingly hopeless situation and make it into a story for is glory. He wants us to believe Him for greater things than we have previously. Dont limit or confine Him! So many have endured terrible losses, and the enemy is relentless. Even in the current state of the USA, I believe God is going to revive and restore one more time, and that He desires that this generation is given to Christ, I am talking the whole generation and whole families. We are in the end times, but God desires that this last generation sound the shofar, go out with a bang! He wants none given into the hands of the Antichrist, and all men and women to repent and be saved. We can believe Him for great things, brothers and sisters. It aint over until God says so, and Hes still pouring out his grace and love in lavish amounts, signs and wonder, before the end of the age, as it says He will in the book of Joel, so it shall be! Keep believing in Jesus triumph at the cross qualifies us to receive Christs unsurpassed riches and full weight of His glory. Amen. Will notify you guys of pending breakthrough, but I believe God has already done it, and it will surely manifest in the physical realm according to is timing be blessed all of you, and thank you for praying! Wendy The court date has now passed, he was given 18m unsupervised probation before judgement. He reads his Bible everyday and is still attending all of his meetings. We pray together daily. He has being seeing a Christian Psychologist as well as attends 2 Celebrate Recovery meetings and 2 SA meetings weekly for the past 2 months. He said he never really let Christ into his life and has been trying to beat his abandonment and abuse from his Parents all by himself. I can see that he is forming a realtionship with Christ and I believe he truly wants to turn his life around. Could you please pray for his new relationship with the Lord and for renewal in our marriage. He has a court date on February 24th, could you please keep our family in your prayers. daretobeajesusfreak Dear Heavenly father I ask that you hold her son close to you. Just show your love to him. Pour it all onto him. Bring him to his knees Lord. Just hold Linda close to you. I know it must hurt her and make her sad but Lord let her know you are working in this. Love and bless her for her prayers and for caring. Most parents today dont care but she does. I thank you for that. Show her son how blessed he is to have her. Lord I love you. Lead that whole family to you and transform them into the image of Christ. Right now I am in the middle of a conflict with a very good friend of mine. I love my friend to death but something happened the other day and i was only trying to express my feelings towards the situation, Needless to say their defenses went up and now it looks like they arent talking to me. According to them I was being not entirely fair. I dont know what to do to fix this. I see them every week at church.

JamieLee Well, I didnt get the job with ther Christian Counseling group, but.... I am now the Manager for the Family Thrift Store in Clearwater, SC for the Salvation Army! The Lord works in mysterious ways! Thanks be to God and to everyone who was praying for me!

My current job recently cut me back from 40 to 20 hours. I cant afford to work part time, so I have been applying to many jobs. One that I would really like is with a Christian Counseling Center. Please pray that I get this job so that I may the opportunity to reach more people and bring them to Christ. Thanks.
