Rachel I had dated this guy for a year, but I made the difficult decision to end it last week. When I did he was fine at first but then he started calling me non-stop even though I didnt answer. It got to the point where I had to block his number. But before I did he started texting me saying that he was going to kill himself.because he didnt want to live without me, basically threatening to take his life if I didnt get back together with him. Im concerned that he might actually try to harm himself. Im racked with guilt right now because I feel bad for causing him pain and making him go through this. But the relationship was toxic and I had to do whats best for me. Please pray for him. And pray for God to give me strength. Thank you.

I know it is because she lost her Dad in a car crash two years ago,and her Mom has moved on to someone else. Veronica One and a half years after moving 3500 miles across the country, my husband, along with 279 other employees were laid off...without notice. Many of his former coworkers are struggling. The majority of them sold everything and packed up their lives to move to another state and start a new life. By the grace of God, we have not been put in a situation where we have to worry or wonder where our next meal will come from or how well pay rent...but unfortunately I cannot say that for everyone else. I ask that you pray with me, that during this trying time those displaced employees find Jesus. That they call upon the Lord and see that can trust Him and lean on Him. I pray that through this, they can grasp an understanding on how much God loves them and how he wants to help them...they just have to let Him in. I pray that everyone affected by this recovers quickly and that depression does not sink in.
I also ask that you pray for my family. My husband does need work, yes. But I pray that the Lord leads us to the place where we can make the most impact for Him. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to pray with me. We appreciate it. God bless you and yours!! :)

Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

shelbster92 Ive been prayin for a while over what to do about this relationship. I had alot of support and advice on what to do. After a few months i have learned that i really wasnt happy with him because i dont agree with his lifestyle and he only wants one thing. After him wantin me back for a while i decided to end it for good. Lookin at how my friends bf treats her, as in he treats her like a queen, i realized that i was missin out on what its supposed to be like to feel special. my ex never did anything for me, and only told half truths and i got tired of it. i now know what NOT to go for and how i should be treated.

Im sure your decision was hard but I think youve done the right thing. Im glad that you have the respect for your parents to listen to their concern for you. Youre blessed to have Christian parents who care for you. God may still lead your friend to Christ. Just remember that God does things according to His time and His time is always best. You may have planted the seed that the Holy Spirit will cause to grow. So please dont feel like you wish you did more. As you have put your trust in the Lord He will bring you and that perfect husband to be together. Just be patient as He knows what, and who, is best for you.

Hello all. If youre an active prayer board member, you probably know that I have posted prayer requests here concerning my boyfriends faith. Hes been growing in his faith so much, and through conversations we have, I can tell God is really in him. He admitted to walking away from Christ, but says that my encouragement and prayer helped him realize what was happening, and turn back to God. My parents still believe he can never make any changes with his faith. They think hell grow to only be a Christian by name, but never by action. Therefore, they still disapprove of our relationship. We never see each other anymore, because they dont like me seeing him much. They think hes a great guy, and they know he treats me well, but theyre afraid his previous lack of faith will end up hurting me in the long run. Hes growing, but they arent giving him a chance to see it. He plans on speaking privately with my dad, and hes very nervous about it. Hes unsure what exactly to say or when he should speak with him, but hes determined to do it. Please pray that God will give him the courage to do it, that the words will come to his mind, that our relationship can glorify God, and that we can grow together in Christs name. Oh, and that we will be able to meet on Valentines Day to take the Purity Pledge together. Its always been a dream of mine to take my pledge on Valentines Day with him. Thanks for everything! Sarah32 Hey Phuti! I love your desire to be one with God, that is so awesome!! I know we all go through different seasons of our lives- sometimes God tests us by removing all those wonderful "feel good" feelings so that we have a choice to make- to grow closer to Him in spite of those wonderful feelings not being there, or to choose to believe that He simply removed His presence because He just doesnt care. Always know he cares for you dear, more than a mom cares for her babe. Feelings will come and go, but God is forever and ever the same! We can also go through these times when we distance ourselves from God, or bring something in thats unpleasing to Him. Whatever it may be, pray to God, scour the Bible for these examples (ie David in Psalms or Jeremiah). I pray that you will find the reason, Phuti,and I pray that you will enjoy this season of your life with Jesus...no matter how you feel. :)

Angel Thank You for all of your prayers, Pastor Emi currently at the border to enter Ghana, My congregation had spoken to him last night shortly after prayer and he stated that his wife and children had pass the Border and is with her sister to get the money to pay the excort, Pastor Emi is still by the border with the excort and will cross over to Ghana at 4:00pm today. Still no news on his congregation. He was crying thanking us and all of you guys for his prayers saying that your prayers kept them alive, that shortly after Emi and his family left their home the Military or the rebel force blow out there home. He thanks everyone who pray and he also ask to keep his daughter and brother in pray that they are still missing.

RemiXx Thank you all so much for praying for me, I could not believe so many people cared. Some of you hit some really hard points, but I appreciate the direct bluntness. I bought 4 christian tees and wore them constantly and soon I started to hear people whispering about how the messages on my shirts effected them. Jokers Knight Out I managed to get a copy of my birth certificate in the mail less than a month ago and got the money to get a local drivers license yesterday! Now that I have those two, I can get my SSN card again!

Thank you for praying for K. Duncan. He called my husband and thanked him
for praying for him in the emergency room after x-rays. As far as we know
he had no broken bones. Just scratches on his motorcycle. Please keep praying
for L. Autwell and Ruth. L.Autwell is still in jail and the Holy Spirit has
told me he was sentenced to go to jail for his (L.Autwell) protection!

Sam It will not be answered until may, and until I board a plane bound for Los Angeles. I need prayers for my father. Well my whole family, but mostly my father now. I am 17 years old in my junior year of high school. My father has bipolar disorder, aka manic depresive. He has manic episodes every now and then. sometimes he has to go to an institution. He is showing signs of going manic again, and at the worst posible tine. He is staring off into space, forgeting things he usualy remembers, becoming obsesed with his religion (in an unhealthy way), and Mom and I practicaly have to force him to eat or drink anything. Those are all the warning signs for him. We have recently aquired a new suv, which is Moms only transportation to dialisys. We live paycheck to paycheck, and that is not enough, we also get government support. If Dad cant work, we have to surrender the car. Without the car, Mom cant get to dialisys. If Mom cant get dialisys then shes dead. Our insurance wont cover transportation. Our family is in no position niether emotionaly nor financialy to go through another manic episode. Please pray for all of us. God bless.

O.0 Thanks everyone for the prayers! :) The interview went well! I did not get the job however. Im not discouraged though, God has been doing things through all this and I just started noticing :D haha, so anyway, Im ready for whatever it is God is going to do in my life now/next... obviously this was not the direction He wanted me to go in! Praise God! :)

Ernie I think I get what you are trying to do with your music, trying to reach the unsaved through "death metal", but you have to remember Tyler, Jesus Christ overcame death, and life is what Christ is all about. Why not re-name your title in order to represent the Truth of the Gospel, the Good News, why not call it "Life over Death Metal"!?!-or maybe that is in your music already?-just a suggestion, Tyler. Also:Ephesians 5:6-12 ESV Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. .."-amen! It sounds like you have a heart for the Lord, Tyler, get together with fellow Christians, and your Pastor and pray over your desire to serve the Lord Jesus through your music, amen-amen!-love in Christ Jesus-Ernie B

Leilani Praise God my son has recognized he really needs Gods protecting love and has asked for prayer specificly for the problem the enemy had taunted him with! So prayer for me to do what I have to do when it needs to be done because I have a trouble time doing what needs to get done or else I just forget what needs to be done, but also that I can get organized. It has been so hectic and crazy Im up to HERE with it all. But mainly I wish I had better self-discipline, that would make things go a lot smoother :) I just sometimes get overwhelmed or lazy over it all and find myself behind in what needs to be done. I am going on a church retreat with my cousin tomorrow. It lasts 3 days-- Friday to Sunday. We, along with others from the church and surrounding areas, will be staying at participating families houses overnight, doing activities on Saturday, and going to church on Sunday. Robert Things are getting better with Gods help. This week has been hard though and a bit of a set back. A neighbor friend, Steve who was 39, from my old church had been going through a similar problem which I didnt know about. Last Sunday at about this time of the day Steve took his life. He has left a wife, a 3 year old son and 22 month old twin boys. His wife is also expecting. This is very had to take. I pray for his wife and his mum, who had a heart attack on hearing of Steves passing. He was a good man who cared very much for not only his own children but also others. He sponsored 6 children through World Vision.

I have suddenly been filled with a very intense fear of the Tribulation. I have horrific nightmares and often wake in a panic. I have panic attacks at night and during the day after I get flashes of terrible events. Everything feels very dark around me. I have gone to my doctor but Im still filled with dread. Please pray for me as Im burning out. I do trust the Lord and am saved so I dont understand what is happening to me. Im worried this will scare my kids and worry my wife as this is not like me.

Erik Thanks to all who prayed, these past couple days have been better than i expected. my grades in school skyrocketed, and im slowly but surely starting to step outside of my comfort zone and talk to people in my classes and in my church; even though i stuttered alot when i was trying to talk.i also got the chance to drive my dream car the other day! man that was a blast. as for the girl, i still like her and im talking to her a little more, but im not in a rush. i figure you all are right and i should just wait for whoever god brings my way;)

To whoever reads this, i have had a rough life. right now my family is in financial trouble, and my dad is in the navy so he is always gone and when he is here the only memories i have of him are when he argues with my mom. this has been going on since as long as i can remember (4 yrs old). on top of that, i never really had a childhood. the extent of what i did have was throwing a foot ball around for a bit once, every other time i was learning about bills and taxes and doing yard work and just about everything else to help my mom out. because of this i have grown to be an out cast socially. i cant even hold a normal conversation with somebody. not to mention ive only had one girlfriend, and it lasted like 2 days so ive basically been single for all 16 years of my life. where as my only best friend has already found a girl that he wants to spend the rest of his life with. a little upsetting on this end. anyways i used to be an alcoholic, because of that i have lost a few brain cells. everyday for the last 4 weeks now something somewhere has gone wrong in my life and it just keeps piling up and its hard to deal with it alone. i like a girl now but i think that someone else is trying to go out with her, and i doubt she even likes me anyways.i feel as if im on the edge of being insane now and i want it all to stop. i need help but i dont really have anyone to help me. i need jesus to step in big time here before i loose it.

tammy ERIC,i so wish you more smiles.I know what is like to have alife like that.i will be praying for you.it took me till i was 36 to get the man of my dreams and of God s for me.yes it was terrible but i am so beyond happt and all the family toughness you will get thru,just lean on God and he will get you to the best place in your life.trust me my family was so bad buit now that we are all older it is working out fine.i aslo was given a very Godly family with my husband.keep trusting and it will get better

Please pray for a miraculous healing, for wisdom for her husband if the decision should be necessary, and for strength and comfort for her family. Her sons names are Greg and Dave Abbot. michael These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: .......they will be able to place their hands on the sick and they will be healed. Mark 16:17-18. Caitlin this is an oppurtunity for you to put your faith to action. This is real, use your faith. The Holy Spirit produces faithfulness in our lives. I will pray for a healing and that through this healing God will reveal this persons purpose to them and that they will carry out what God has laid out for them.

LiveLifeToTheFullest Tyler Jesus loves you and His love is unfailing!....neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39... Jesus you are all and more powerful than any addiction. God I lift up Tyler and I pray that you would send followers of Christ to help him deal and recover from this addiction.

My sister-in-law, Erin is being induced tomorrow. Its exciting..... but the doctors have said theres something that looks suspicious in the sonogram. Pray that the baby (Harper) would be completely normal and healthy. A picture may show one thing, but I know God can do healing, even in utero!!
