Sabine Since we moved into our home about 7 months ago, we have become friends with out neighbors. Their son loves playing with my children and we often look after him when they need help. The wife is east Indian and of Seek religion. But recently the opportunity has come up after all of this time that she is interested in knowing about Christianity. This is because her son who is 5 years old, is displaying a lot of jealousy, disrespect and self destructive behavior. Just recently I heard him saying things like "everyone hates me "and "I want to get hit by a car". She sees how my children behave and want her child to bee the same. I tell her that I raise them up using my teaching from Christ. Please pray for me that God will use me to help them and bring them them all to Christ.

Greg My 14 year old daughter is really starting to question God in light of the Connecticut shooting and a 16 year old boy at her high school took his own life. At first it broke my heart hearing her question God, but I quickly realized through God prompting me, that she is going to make this faith her own. She will no longer believe because dad believes. I just need prayer in helping her seek God out. She feels alone and I am trying everything to be there for her. Thank you, God bless.

With Love On Your Arms I am really worried about some things in life and being a teen. Im 16 and I dont have a drivers license yet or even have my slip/permit. I dont have a job yet also and my grades werent so good. I have someone in my family who tells me that I need to get my license and a job because I am making people have a hard time. Im worried that I will be stuck in home and not have freedom. I know I should be grateful for many things but there are times when I really dont like being here.

tiffani I recently returned from a missions trip abroad and all seemed well during my time away i.e., i was stress free, i sensed the presence of God everywhere, i felt a sense of community love with others. Since my return, i have been a little overwhelmed with work, school and a friendship relationship which i believe will lead to marriage but lately...ive been doubting. I have known my guy friend for almost a year and a half and due to distance, ministry, grad school and our busy work schedules we arent able to communicate as much as wed like. Please pray that i receive wisdom, patience and guidance as i work through my grad program, search for a new job and wait on marriage.

Sandy My husband of 22 years has left us on our sons 17 th bday for another woman he has started the divorce process 2nd court date is the 17th of January . He does not talk OT text our children they r ages 20, 17, and14 he shows up at my son basketball game to " look good" but he does not try to talk to him or text himHe works as a principal at a behavior program asNd has hired all 5 women he has had an affair with . The kids know because HE TOLD THEM HE DID THE AFFAIRS the co workers will not say anything because they say Egan will fire them - some are claimed to be Christians and they just watch my husband destroy 6 families . The board will not listen to me because I am his wife and he states I am just mad at him they will not invest age the claim . Vanessa My husband and I are hoping and praying for Christian friends. There are times when I feel a terrible jealousy rise up in me toward the friendships my brother and sis-in-law have, though I dont think they are always good friendships. My husband is lonely for a Christian man to grow with in Christ, to learn from/with, and just to have a good friend other than myself. What I ask above all is that any who are willing to pray for us, will ask our perfect Creator to make us worthy of having friends. Secondly, please ask Him to work His perfect will in our lives, in spite of our fallen-ness. (sp?) Third, if/when the Creator sees fit, that He would put us in the path of Christians he wants us to build relationships with, and that He will make it clear to us what He wants, as we can be so blind to Him sometimes. :-P Thanks in advance...Im glad to have found this little community where we can hold each other up :-)

Sabine Vanessa, if you are focused on any desire in your life other than serving God that is not Gods will. You are making your desire for Christian friendships your number one. Tying to fulfill the desires of your own heart to gain something - even something like friendship, is not Gods will. That is why you are feeling jealousy. You are allowing your desires blind you to what God has already blessed you with. Dont waste your talent, get out there help people without doing it to help yourself. Friendship is a by product of people doing good and helping each other regularly. Reach out to those that dont fit your profile of a good friend or based on the criteria of being christian. Rather look for people you can be a good friend to, that maybe really need a friend more than you. I pray you and your husband become servants of God rather than self servants. Look at your life and say where is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We must all do this. Then if we discover there is not much there we must change our focus back to God and his will in our lives. When he is there he works through us to make other peoples lives better. In turn we become happier or might even make a friend because it was created by Gods will at work.

Chris Thank you for all your prayers! She has 12 more weeks of chemo, but after her 6 week CT scan the doctors were amazed that she is cancer free!!! Praise our Awesome God! It is amazing to some, but a miracle of God to those who believe!!!!

My wife was hired at our local gas station....less than 1/8th a mile away and my brother and I were both hired for a call center as at home agents! God is great! She just got a really neat job as a technical support specialist and technical writer, she has really be enjoying the job and i am so happy that you guys helped me pray for her. Michael Well, I decided that the best thing to do was to step away from that band. But that was a good thing because in the past few days, God has placed a few more band opportunities in my life. One of the them is on a worship team, with an outreach group as well. And another is building my own group of Christian musicians. I feel so blessed! Thank you all for all your prayers! God is great!

The other guy, however, is bossy and tells everybody what to play. Additionally, the house we play in is in serious needing of cleaning- almost to the point of being a health hazard. So my prayer is about what I should do. I want to confront them about the band dynamics and the state of the house. However, I dont want to appear judgmental. I want to approach them from a place of love, in order to make things better. Please pray that God gives me the courage and the right words to approach this situation. Thank you all!

Rachel Thank you for your prayers. Diana and Ben broke up yesterday. I really think its for the best. I dont want either one of them to stop coming to youth group because of the break-up so please pray that there could be peace between them. Ethan hasnt come to church in a while so I dont know how he is doing, please keep praying for him. And please keep praying for Megan, she has a verbally abusive dad and sometimes that takes its toll on her. Please pray for me to continue to grow close to God, and let His love change me. Ok, so I havent been on here in a while but I need prayer for strength, guidance, and freedom from fear. Strength against temptation. Guidance for my future. And freedom from the fear of ridicule; to speak up and step out in faith. Please also pray for my friends Diana and Ben. Needy Servant Sorry it took so long to update, i went on vacation. Well i didnt test into the advanced class as i had hoped, but God has provided the money for me to take the summer class. i am going to major in American Sign Language and i have an assessment coming up this monday, i am praying to test out of ASL Intermediate 2 and into ASL Advanced 1. i really cant afford to take intermediate one because of cost, and if i must take that then i have to wait to enroll in the program which could cost me a spot in the program and i would need to wait another year to enroll because they only accept in the fall semester. Prayer is much needed and definitely appreciated, im going to need God to take the assessment for me.

I am so glad your prayers have been answered! Keep praying! Keep believing and be determined to never give up on your marriage and family! God will bring you through. His will is for your family to be united. The enemy would like to steal kill and destroy but, The Lord has come to give you LIFE and to the fullest!!! So, you and your wife dont allow the enemy in, pray, read the Word together and both develop your walk with God. A three fold cord (with Jesus in the middle) is not easily broken. I am also praying for my marriage and my husband to come back to the Lord and then back to his family. Please pray with me for I am sure your Faith has increased! God bless you and your family.

The wife and I are ging to be meeting tomorrow night to discuss schedules for our children and time with each of us individually (joint custody). I setup a schedule that should do well for both of our work schedules and with the least amount of impact on the children. I also wanted to talk about the next steps toward what she wants to do. I dont want to throw out there, "when are you going to file?", questions but I want to guage where she is at and what she wants to do. I am so dead to this marriage right now, I really just want to move on. I feel so badly that I feel this way, that this is not the plan God layed out from the beginning. I cant make her try to work it out and I dont want to be hard and calused, but I dont want to be walked on. This is such a grace needed situation. I dont want to say the wrong things and I dont want to be pushing toward divorce either. I am having such a hard time right now, my heart is so heavy. I ask for guidance and words from the Holy Spirit, I need to be everything the Lord needs me to be and I barely have a grasp on that for tomorrow night. Just need a little bit of everything, grace, words, healing, boldness, wisdom, strength, love. Thank you all who have been following me, it has and continues to be a rough road.

We know that this is God and He will provide I am just asking that you pray and believe with us and pray for everything to open up and to give us peace.

Sarah32 Georgia is an awesome place to live.:) I lived there for the majority of my life, and will probably forever consider the peach state as home. Im so sorry youre having difficulties with the moving process though. That stinks.:-/ My prayer for you----Lord, I thank you for the words You still speak to us today. I pray that WOG and her family will still be sensitive to Your voice as you show them where to go next. You promise that if we acknowledge you in every aspect of our lives, You will direct our paths. That is a promise. Lord, I am claiming that promise over WOGs life and her family. I pray that if Georgia is really where they need to be, that you will knock down all of the hurdles standing in their way. I pray that You, my good Lord, would provide the right jobs and financial provisions for this family. My former co-worker asked for prayers for her step father: Steve Currence whos in need of a "liver transplant"! He doesnt have insurance which means hes not applicable for a transplant. Deborah Well we are still married and still living under the same roof! However, the feelings have gotten worse! He still refuses counseling and suggested I return back to counseling because he feels I need it more than he does since Im the one who wants the divorce. All Im asking from you my brothers and sisters is to pray for me! I have no job (Graduated as a phlebotomist last yr ) cuz everyone wants experience!! Were going to continue living in our house til we can actually sell it. All Ive been doing is crying and praying! I dont want to end up having a nervous breakdown. Sheri Well, there are times when she is on the right track then there are others when I can still see the grip that darkness has on her life. We are still struggling with her and would appreciate the continued prayer for her. I know 14 is a difficult age and she just seems to grow more and more negative by the day. michael You are coming at this the wrong way. You pray and expect everything to be perfect. Do you think that God is teaching you something by putting you through struggle or do you think he is going to give everything to you on dinner platter. Come on man, I know I should encourage you but you need to stop expected God to do everything for you. Pick up your cross, your sacrifises and he will meet you.

Rachel Spoon Please dont give up Anthony! It may seem like its getting worse, but maybe youre looking in the wrong direction. I had some really rough times before, and I wanted God to solve things my way. I wouldnt let him solve it His way, and that made things get worse. God would never just leave you stranded there. He will work in His timing and in His way. Just try to keep faith that He knows what Hes doing. Please, please dont give up. I;m still praying for you every night.

Alex Courtney is back safe and sound in my arms. Thank you all for your prayers for her. She is greatly appreciative for those prayers and she managed to have a half way decent time except for the food and sleep. Although she is in pain :( ....Thank you all again for your support n prayers. She had some hardships in there but she is out and safe.

Yesterday, I took my wife to jail for a sentence she obtained from a mistake she made months ago. The loneliness is eating me alive. I am trying to give it all to God and I have in a way but the human part of me wants to just lay in bed and wither away. Please pray for her safety, she wont be gone long she has four more days. And every day after the next get slower and slower. It seems like a lifetime. I need God to move for us both. For her safety and for my sanity. Now I know how God must have felt when he decided to make man. Loneliness is so silent and cold. Its amazing to think there was even a time when God was lonely himself. He made man in His image, I guess I answered my own question just now when I started to ask how are we supposed to deal with it if He created man and we cant create anything.. But I felt something with me and as soon as I felt it I thought, we are supposed to lean on Him because He is always with us. It makes me feel some better but it is gonna take a lot of prayer and for God to move for this horrible feeling to pass. Thank you all for praying for me and PLEASE continue to pray for my Courtney

Sarah32 Praying Alex.<3 Know that it is in these desperate times that we truly grow close to God. I could write out my own examples here, but, well, it would fill the page! In some ways, God loves when you have a moment of crisis- it gives us a chance to really throw our hands up in the air and say, "You know God, I cannot do this myself. Im too desperate! You are the One who is going to have to do the fighting through me." Guess what? He will. You do not have to rely on yourself to make it through, Alex. God wants to work THROUGH you and give you His own fighting spirit and His own character qualities. Remember- apart from Him, you can do NOTHING. (John 15:5) Also to what you said- God was never alone, even without man. He never needed us for companionship, He WANTED us! (I think that makes it all the better.:) He always had fellowship with well, as strange as it sounds, Himself! The Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit has always been united with one another in a harmonious relationship. Remember Alex, if God has that relational spirit intrinsically, He wants it for you too--to be in unity with Him. :):) Praying for Courtney too, as you know.<3
