Leigh Please pray for my mother. She is 70 years old, and is very depressed, having some stomach pain, racing heart, and panic attacks. She had a bad panic attack earlier tonight, and was very upset, and crying. She never wants to see a doctor. My brother, my only sibling, disowned her over 20 years ago, when my parents divorced, and it also hurts her greatly. Not a day goes by that she doesnt grieve over him not talking to her. She cried about him tonight, saying how much it hurts that he hates her. She says she feels useless, and wants to be able to do everything she did before. Said she wants to help me, but cant. She is in a severe depression, and I dont know what to do.
She lives with me and my 4 children. I am a single mom, after my husband abandoned us 6 years ago. I work very long hours to be able to take care of all of us. Sometimes I have to stay awake for 2 days at a time, and my health isnt the greatest. I have to work, and it is becoming very hard to function at all, because Im so worried about her. I feel like Im about to fall apart.
Please pray that if there is anything physically wrong with her, that God will heal her, and take any sickness away from her. Please also pray that she will not feel depressed anymore, or hopeless. Pray that she will enjoy life again.
Please pray for all of our health, so we can be strong, and happy. Please also pray that somehow, work will become a little easier for me, so that I wont have to skip a night of sleep, and have a few days off once in awhile to spend with my family.
I believe that the power of prayer is very strong, and I have witnessed it work miracles before. So I would be so grateful for your prayers. God Bless.

A Captivated Heart I would like prayer for people in other places of the world where hunger and poverty is stark. I want to make a difference in the lives of people who are faced with struggles us American do not usually have to face. Knowing that other people in the world, especially in poor countries, pay the price of our luxurious lifestyles drives me with this passion to give them the life promised in John 10:10 . All in all, I just want prayer with a faith that can help these people through their daily struggles. In addition, I want to have answers. Andrew Michelle, I just wanted to let you know that you can never lose your salvation. If you truely believe in Christ Jesus, that He is the Son of God, one with the Father, and that you have accepted Him into your heart, He will never let you go, He died for us to wipe our slates completely clean, there is not one thing we can do to lose our salvation. No matter what we do, He has already forgiven, and forgotten past present and future. Do not fear, but remember satan always tries to find a way to bring a believer down, and spiritual warfare is a major struggle with many Christians. Alan I would also like a prayer for strength and full deliverance...I am one of the worship leaders in our church, and sometimes I hold back myself because I know Im still not yet fully delivered from my old self...I was born and raised as a Christian... My parents met and grew up on a church and has a very strong foundations of faith... We moved to Japan 7 years ago(I was 10 years old...)For 5 years I was into lust, pain, heart break, lies,And Two years ago, we started a church and thats when I grew a lot. in two years I was closer to God than ever... I was stronger in Him than ever... and then I became one of the worship leaders in the team... Being one of the leaders in such a young age (17) gave me a great responsibility... And I want to serve him fully... With my WHOLE life... But my old self keeps haunting me... I want to change completely, for my family... Mo Ive been married to my husband, Steve, for almost 15 years and for that entire time, my in-laws have been a huge problem in our marriage. They are still attached to my husbands ex-wife, who although she left him for someone else, they still have her over and include her in family functions. My husband doesnt seem to have a problem with it, but I do. They have not warmed up to me, even though Ive been in their family for 15 years. Theres been so much tension and its really driven a wedge in our marriage. Steves daughter has also resented me, and thats been another source of friction in our marriage. Now that my husbands daughter is getting married this year, his ex-wife seems to be everywhere and since my husband knows it bothers me, hes being secretive about his meetings and conversations with her and it has been hurtful and really bothersome. I would really appreciate your prayers that God would intervene in my marriage and solve this problem for us. Thank you so very much.

Gemy Hello(: Its been a really long time since Ive posted a prayer request here. Probably because I lost my faith. D: Maybe there is a bit more, because Im asking for your help here. But Im just VERY confused right now. Some of my friends told me that it isnt an overnight thing and it will certainly take time. But thats something else: What if there isnt much time left? We all know that the end of the world is pretty near. The fact that Im scared of it make me a lot more scared because my teacher said that if you are scared of the end of age, you are not saved. I want to be saved. I want to believe in God because I love Him. But whats happening is: I want to believe in God because I want to be saved from the End of the World. AND. What scares me most is the fact that I dont think I can accept Jesus as my Lord Savior because Im not sure if he even actually existed. DDD: And I found some (mean) verses in the bible. Like Deut. 22:13-22. Please explain? (: This march, Im having a major operation (Double curve, 50 degrees Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis) and Im hoping it would be successful. What if something bad happens? Im not being negative, Im being realistic. And also my education. Because of my operation, the school is letting me take more work so that I can cope up with the things i will miss. It pressures me and usually triggers my epileptic migraine. The school knows about this, so they are helping me with it, which is really nice of them. But please also pray for my health(: Thank you for reading something this long. Please help me. (:(PS: Im thirteen years old) xx

KellieStine I have many health issues including severe scoliosis,I have also been fighting a respiratory infection since Oct. TestedAndTried no...my prayer for peace between my son and husband never happened...my husband and i actually separated as he would never accept my son..come to find out, my son has become very ill and needs medical attention the insurance will not pay for..we had to drop my daughter out of the christian school and put her into a public school..so far, nothing is easy and my body grows extremely fatigued with the working of 3 jobs for almost 3 years now...i grow more weary than you can imagine, especially not being able to come up with the $8,000.00 that is needed for my sons medical procedure that our insurance will not approve to pay for...need guidance...

Please pray for peace between my husband and my son....it never ends...also for financial security..my husband has been out of work for two years..he seems to have given up and I am working 3 jobs to keep us together..also, pls pray for me to be able to continue sending my daughter to a local inexpensive Christian school that we have been at for 6 years, it has been building her faith and character very strong over the years and I just cant imagine giving it up now, but God will make a way if he wants her to stay there...God Bless any of you that take the time to pray for our family!

Norge We have found meds that can reverse the problems my Girl Friend has been experiencing. But she is struggling with doctors that have diagnosed her wrong and are administering medication that is not what she is suffering from. It is making her really sick and they are considering upping her dosage or hospitalizing her and administering shock treatment. All of which will do nothing but fry her because she has Fibromyalgia and is not Phycotic. So still need pray and an intervention in a big way or these doctors are going to destroy a perfectly healthy women.

Norge I pray that the Lord embraces her life, opens up inroads to her torment and pain and shows her what encapsolating these emotions is doing to her. Glorisel Hey everyone! I just wanted to thank you all for praying! Since posting this, God has been ministering to my heart every day... Cant say that everything is perfect; some things are getting better (like I just did interviews at three med schools praise God and thank Him for His grace... now I just have to wait and see where he leads me) and some things are getting worse (my friends dad died and hes gotten worse; hes gotten into pills and is talking about going to work in the streets; frankly, im remaining in prayer for him but im breaking up that friendship because he doesnt want help... hes just devastated but he doesnt want change right now... so im just praying for him)... But my heart has changed. Now, I can say I have joy again... And though every now and then Im troubled by the situations surrounding me Im feeling God and His peace more than ever and Hes been letting me know "NOTHING WILL EVER SEPARATE YOU FROM MY LOVE"... Somehow, in every song, in every Scripture, in every sermon that keeps coming up... Gods love... GODS LOVE IS SUSTAINING ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY... Im sorry that its so long but Im desperate... The past 7 months have been very hard. I had to drop out of med school in June due to my grades (I am currently trying again to enter med school or study nursing because my passion and purpose is in serving people through medical services so I can help their physical needs and introduce them to God in the process). In June also my grandma entered the intensive care unit and was on and off the hospital which was a grueling process for us and her and she went with the Lord in August so this is our first Christmas without her and its been so hard... On September I came to know that I have a chronic heart thing going on and am currently on meds but so far theyve upped my dosis 4 times and it isnt working; the other option is an operation. On November I got very sick and had to go the hospital due to dehydration and am currently under studies to see if I have another chronic condition of the gastrointestinal tract. Also on November my best friend and the guy I love seemed to be getting more depressed, talked about suicide (he has already tried it twice by now) and said he was getting marry to a girl after less than two months of knowing her only to dump her and stop living with her last Tuesday and start living with another girl on Friday whom he says is the one. He (my friend) is far from God and I feel a lot of confusion in his mind and spirit but he says he feels good about what hes doing; but I learned two days ago that he started doing drugs again with the girl hes living with so I dont get how this girl could be from God like he says when they are nit living pleasing God or even looking for Him. We talked (and had a fight while he was on drugs) and I told him that we should stop talking because it isnt right for me to be talking with a guy I love while he is living with a girl. We have been best friends for ten years; and Ive helped him through a lot of rough spots so Im going to miss him a lot and a part of me feels this isnt fair and more so Im worried about his soul because he doesnt seem to see what hes doing wrong. On top of all this, the family that was left in Puerto Rico with me moved to the states in August so I feel alone and my two best friends who are Christians are going through their own stuff (one was depressed and the other one is studying in med school) so theyre too busy to talk when I need it. Im also looking for a job since October, but to no avail. I write to ask for prayer for all my friends; specially Gabriel (hes the guy who isnt in a relationship with God yet) for his eyes to be opened to Gods truth and that he will receive conviction in his spirit about what Gods will truly is. I want him to be saved. I want to pray for my family as we pass through our first Christmas without grandma; specially my grandpa (they had been married for 54 yrs) and my mom and aunt and uncle (also pray for his salvation cuz hes the only member of the fam who isnt saved yet). Please pray for me.I work in a school for damaged teenagers who have problems with aggression. My problem has been with the staff however. They constantly bully me in insiduous way. The say Im not pulling my weight and criticise the work I do. I teach English and literacy and as its a mainly boys school I have had lots of trouble raising standards but I have - greatly. Instead of being praised for this, I am ignored and not included in the little clique of teachers who drink together. The last straw has come when I have put in a grievance procedure against a member of staff who kept removing my posts from the school website with no explanation. This person is a pagan and the first thing she ever said to me is There is no God, despite the fact she knew I was a Christian. The management listen to everyone but me and I have no voice in this place. There are many discrepancies in this school and I am worried about the students. I almost got another job recently. Just missed it! Is it the Lords plan I should stay here, despite the stress affecting my health. Help me Lord please....if you want me here open some doors, if not...PLEASE show me the way out with another position. Its taking over my life and getting out of hand.

Louise Thank you for your prayers on my behalf. My neck surgery has been delayed from 1/3/13 due to a decreasing white blood count that has gone well in to the abnormal range. So, Ive been sent to an Oncologist for evaluation. Im drinking organic fruit & vegetable drinks with seeds & nuts blended to hopefully help boost my WBC. Gotta get that WBC up so, I can get this surgery and move forward. Thank you again for your prayers. God bless, Louise

I am always praying for others, as do my children, and now I please need a prayer chain for myself and my 3 children. I trust in God to help me through an upcoming major neck surgery on January 3, 2013. I will be in a neck brace for 3 months and Im currently on Family Medical Leave Act from work which means Im not getting paid and Im the sole supporter of my 18 yr. old son in HS. I need a "sooner than expected" 3 month recovery so I dont lose my job on 2/28 if I cant be released by the Neurosurgeon for work. Also, my other 2 children 23 (son is a Chef in Chicago), and 31 (daughter is the Director of a non-profit Geriatric Center), as well as my 18 yr. old son, are stressed out over this surgery and my well-being. I would appreciate any prayers for my speedy, full recovery and most importantly my childrens well-being. Thank you so much for your support. Merry Christmas!

He has a doctors appointment today to find out what surgery he needs to have to hopefully once and for all fix a problem he has had for years. As far as we know there are 2 options for him and one is brain surgery and the other is less invasive as its in his face, not his brain. Jonathan It turned out to be a group interview, to which one man asked questions that each of us took turns to answer in our own way, and though Ive knocked out all questions, I did not recieve a contact for a second interview. I am currently still unemployed and I ask that you please pray that I find SOME source of consistent financial income.

My husband just got found out he has diabetes and he had a job where he was on his feet 12 hour days so God lead him to a career change to truck driving school so he wont be on his feet for hours at a time but my prayer is that God will give him wisdom and favor to obtain his CDL and for God to heal him of health issues and for our finances to be restored and for God to help my daughter get into the Air Force because thats what she wants to do and God has led her that way. My husband just got found out he has diabetes and he had a job where he was on his feet 12 hour days so God lead him to a career change to truck driving school so he wont be on his feet for hours at a time but my prayer is that God will give him wisdom and favor to obtain his CDL and for God to heal him of health issues and for our finances to be restored and for God to help my daughter get into the Air Force because thats what she wants to do and God has led her that way. Tomorrow morning (Friday) my husband goes to his court hearing due to a situation from the past. Please pray it goes well. Also, I am 36 weeks pregnant and having sever swelling in my hands... its finals week in college so prayers that I will be able to have less pain and to finish the semester strong before our son arrives. One last thing, I have been out of work due to my pregnancy and my husband hasnt been able to find a job outside of his small part time one at the bowling alley which barely covers our rent. Prayers he can find another job would be amazing. Thank you so much and God bless.

HI everyone. Lately I feel like Ive been slipping in my faith. I dont read my Bible as regularly as I used to, and I just dont feel like I have a group of Christians to connect with on a spiritual level. I go to church every week, I play in the worship band, I help out in the youth ministry, Im reading my Bible maybe 4/7 days a week... and I still feel like Im lacking. Maybe Im just caught up with life, maybe its because Im not reading every day, maybe its because something is replacing God, but I need to figure it out and I need to do it soon. Without God, I am a mess, and I cannot go back to that. I feel like Im letting go of my relationship with HIm, please pray. Thanks, God bless.
