Fartina I am a mother of one child who has lost her job in October and is about to be put out of my place and be homeless. I need a miracle and a place to go. None of the shelters seem to be accepting and I have no idea what to do. I have been hired at a job but have not started yet. Please stand in agreement with me that me and my daughter will have secure housing and will not be on the street. Please. Thanks.

With Love On Your Arms I am really worried about some things in life and being a teen. Im 16 and I dont have a drivers license yet or even have my slip/permit. I dont have a job yet also and my grades werent so good. I have someone in my family who tells me that I need to get my license and a job because I am making people have a hard time. Im worried that I will be stuck in home and not have freedom. I know I should be grateful for many things but there are times when I really dont like being here.

tiffani I recently returned from a missions trip abroad and all seemed well during my time away i.e., i was stress free, i sensed the presence of God everywhere, i felt a sense of community love with others. Since my return, i have been a little overwhelmed with work, school and a friendship relationship which i believe will lead to marriage but lately...ive been doubting. I have known my guy friend for almost a year and a half and due to distance, ministry, grad school and our busy work schedules we arent able to communicate as much as wed like. Please pray that i receive wisdom, patience and guidance as i work through my grad program, search for a new job and wait on marriage.

Sandy My husband of 22 years has left us on our sons 17 th bday for another woman he has started the divorce process 2nd court date is the 17th of January . He does not talk OT text our children they r ages 20, 17, and14 he shows up at my son basketball game to " look good" but he does not try to talk to him or text himHe works as a principal at a behavior program asNd has hired all 5 women he has had an affair with . The kids know because HE TOLD THEM HE DID THE AFFAIRS the co workers will not say anything because they say Egan will fire them - some are claimed to be Christians and they just watch my husband destroy 6 families . The board will not listen to me because I am his wife and he states I am just mad at him they will not invest age the claim . Vanessa My husband and I are hoping and praying for Christian friends. There are times when I feel a terrible jealousy rise up in me toward the friendships my brother and sis-in-law have, though I dont think they are always good friendships. My husband is lonely for a Christian man to grow with in Christ, to learn from/with, and just to have a good friend other than myself. What I ask above all is that any who are willing to pray for us, will ask our perfect Creator to make us worthy of having friends. Secondly, please ask Him to work His perfect will in our lives, in spite of our fallen-ness. (sp?) Third, if/when the Creator sees fit, that He would put us in the path of Christians he wants us to build relationships with, and that He will make it clear to us what He wants, as we can be so blind to Him sometimes. :-P Thanks in advance...Im glad to have found this little community where we can hold each other up :-)

Sabine Vanessa, if you are focused on any desire in your life other than serving God that is not Gods will. You are making your desire for Christian friendships your number one. Tying to fulfill the desires of your own heart to gain something - even something like friendship, is not Gods will. That is why you are feeling jealousy. You are allowing your desires blind you to what God has already blessed you with. Dont waste your talent, get out there help people without doing it to help yourself. Friendship is a by product of people doing good and helping each other regularly. Reach out to those that dont fit your profile of a good friend or based on the criteria of being christian. Rather look for people you can be a good friend to, that maybe really need a friend more than you. I pray you and your husband become servants of God rather than self servants. Look at your life and say where is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We must all do this. Then if we discover there is not much there we must change our focus back to God and his will in our lives. When he is there he works through us to make other peoples lives better. In turn we become happier or might even make a friend because it was created by Gods will at work.

Sabine I feel that ever since I found Jesus, my life has become a battle against the Devil. He has been working in my husband who is unsaved, my friends ( old ones unsaved) all new ones have turned out to be Christians, my family (all unsaved). Rejection, isolation, slander and terrible acts have come against me non stop. It seems the more I walk with Jesus the more it comes against me. I had no friends for a few years after I had children but I prayed about it and God has sent me wonderful people in my life. Despite this my ex best friend of many years has been trying to destroy all my work connections in my modeling. I am starting the path of learning how to act for the past two years now - she already knows all the casting directors in the city and is trying to sabotage my chances wherever I go. I know when she has influenced others because they are so different with me. She tells people that "I think I am so holy". Its easy for her to do this since all the people we know are either gay and or non Christian. I ask for someone to pray that she will cease trying to destroy me in my line of work and to people. I dont have her ability to win friends and influence people (her favorite book.) which I told her is very evil. I honestly think that something in her hates me and Jesus in me. My Christianity bothered her soooo much. But when she couldnt snare me with deliberate acts of trying to offend me while we were friends, she just one day started avoiding any contact with me. The next time I saw her I was left with a horrible sick feeling in my stomach for days. Then she told me that I have changed and that I am crazy (she was so full of hatred). All of this took place over two years ago and is still affecting my work because she does not stop .Please pray for her that she will come to know Jesus and that any evil working in her will be bound through the name Jesus. Please pray that my husband will come to know Christ and be baptized. The same goes for the rest of my family and in-laws. Pray for me that God will use me for his purpose wherever and whatever I am doing, and that he will turn all my curses into blessings, in Jesus name.

Sonya I am in the middle of probably the most trying time of my life, It is Christmas time which adds to the sadness. Recently I had invited a sister to move in with me until she got back on her feet. Big problem, she was not trying, and I felt taken advantage of at the end. My daughter also moved in with me for a month without asking but I took her in without a word. Yesterday at work my faith was for lack of a better word attacked. I was called to HR for giving out Jesus is the reason for the season buttons, and told I talk about faith all the time. Not true, I only tell about faith when asked. I know the boundaries and rules of my work place. I was and am so hurt. I cried all the way Home driving in a blizzard while praying for guidance from Him. I get home and think things are calm. But I get two phone calls one from my daughter chewing me out about Christmas, I said whoa what a minute this is the first I had heard of what you are talking about. My door is open to your aunt and I have made that clear. The second was from my other sister. Not chewing me out but telling me she was not coming to moms for christmas and neither were her kids. My world is an ultimate mess, I cannot fix this alone. I am also in the middle of a nasty divorce after 23 years of marriage. It looks like i may well be spending the holiday alone. Please pray for me. I feel so weak and heavy laden right now.

GB Please pray for my two nephews who have fallen for Satans trickery and one has proclaimed to be a nonbeliever and the other some new age universal God belief. They are good boys who were raised Christian but have let the evils of this world take hold of them. They are both in their early 20s and their mothers are both torn apart by these admissions. Please pray God removes the blinders from their eyes and shows them the truth. This is not an easy case for us (you and my family) as they are very set in these false beliefs. We need lots of round the clock prayer, as relentless as Satan is with them now. TestedAndTried no...my prayer for peace between my son and husband never happened...my husband and i actually separated as he would never accept my son..come to find out, my son has become very ill and needs medical attention the insurance will not pay for..we had to drop my daughter out of the christian school and put her into a public school..so far, nothing is easy and my body grows extremely fatigued with the working of 3 jobs for almost 3 years now...i grow more weary than you can imagine, especially not being able to come up with the $8,000.00 that is needed for my sons medical procedure that our insurance will not approve to pay for...need guidance...

tim The Lord has answered our prayer by providing the funds to pay our debt through our family members. It has been through much prayer that this decision was reached. I still am unsure of the future of our business and where it is heading, but that has always been the case, even when it was prospering. The Lord is in control! Norge We have found meds that can reverse the problems my Girl Friend has been experiencing. But she is struggling with doctors that have diagnosed her wrong and are administering medication that is not what she is suffering from. It is making her really sick and they are considering upping her dosage or hospitalizing her and administering shock treatment. All of which will do nothing but fry her because she has Fibromyalgia and is not Phycotic. So still need pray and an intervention in a big way or these doctors are going to destroy a perfectly healthy women.

Norge I pray that the Lord embraces her life, opens up inroads to her torment and pain and shows her what encapsolating these emotions is doing to her. I also pray that she gets a handle on any medical issues that could be distracting her from realizing her true life and to giver her strength to change her life to feel better.

Make yourself real to them in a way that is undeniably you. Restore unto them the joy of their salvation and renew a right spirit within them. I need prayer for myself... Ive been praying for a very bad situation over a friend (were talking life and death of not only the soul but also of the physical body; drugs and alcohol, depression, panic attacks, etc.)... Glorisel Hey everyone! I just wanted to thank you all for praying! Since posting this, God has been ministering to my heart every day... Cant say that everything is perfect; some things are getting better (like I just did interviews at three med schools praise God and thank Him for His grace... now I just have to wait and see where he leads me) and some things are getting worse (my friends dad died and hes gotten worse; hes gotten into pills and is talking about going to work in the streets; frankly, im remaining in prayer for him but im breaking up that friendship because he doesnt want help... hes just devastated but he doesnt want change right now... so im just praying for him)... But my heart has changed. Now, I can say I have joy again... And though every now and then Im troubled by the situations surrounding me Im feeling God and His peace more than ever and Hes been letting me know "NOTHING WILL EVER SEPARATE YOU FROM MY LOVE"... Somehow, in every song, in every Scripture, in every sermon that keeps coming up... Gods love... GODS LOVE IS SUSTAINING ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY... So, if you guys can keep me and my fam and my friends in prayers Ill thank you again, know that God is at work. GOD IS NEAR AND HEARING. PRAISE HIM! Im sorry that its so long but Im desperate... The past 7 months have been very hard. I had to drop out of med school in June due to my grades (I am currently trying again to enter med school or study nursing because my passion and purpose is in serving people through medical services so I can help their physical needs and introduce them to God in the process). In June also my grandma entered the intensive care unit and was on and off the hospital which was a grueling process for us and her and she went with the Lord in August so this is our first Christmas without her and its been so hard... On September I came to know that I have a chronic heart thing going on and am currently on meds but so far theyve upped my dosis 4 times and it isnt working; the other option is an operation. On November I got very sick and had to go the hospital due to dehydration and am currently under studies to see if I have another chronic condition of the gastrointestinal tract. Also on November my best friend and the guy I love seemed to be getting more depressed, talked about suicide (he has already tried it twice by now) and said he was getting marry to a girl after less than two months of knowing her only to dump her and stop living with her last Tuesday and start living with another girl on Friday whom he says is the one. He (my friend) is far from God and I feel a lot of confusion in his mind and spirit but he says he feels good about what hes doing; but I learned two days ago that he started doing drugs again with the girl hes living with so I dont get how this girl could be from God like he says when they are nit living pleasing God or even looking for Him. We talked (and had a fight while he was on drugs) and I told him that we should stop talking because it isnt right for me to be talking with a guy I love while he is living with a girl. We have been best friends for ten years; and Ive helped him through a lot of rough spots so Im going to miss him a lot and a part of me feels this isnt fair and more so Im worried about his soul because he doesnt seem to see what hes doing wrong. On top of all this, the family that was left in Puerto Rico with me moved to the states in August so I feel alone and my two best friends who are Christians are going through their own stuff (one was depressed and the other one is studying in med school) so theyre too busy to talk when I need it. Im also looking for a job since October, but to no avail. I write to ask for prayer for all my friends; specially Gabriel (hes the guy who isnt in a relationship with God yet) for his eyes to be opened to Gods truth and that he will receive conviction in his spirit about what Gods will truly is. I want him to be saved. I want to pray for my family as we pass through our first Christmas without grandma; specially my grandpa (they had been married for 54 yrs) and my mom and aunt and uncle (also pray for his salvation cuz hes the only member of the fam who isnt saved yet). Please pray for me; my health, me finding a job to help out my family and be able to take care of myself better, my emotions because its a lot and I have Gods joy but some days are better anf some days are just horrible, my carrer and most of all that God will give me direction and strength to do His will wtv it may mean to sacrifice; even 10 yrs friendship or being healthy or the dream of being a doctor. Please pray for me.I work in a school for damaged teenagers who have problems with aggression. My problem has been with the staff however. They constantly bully me in insiduous way. The say Im not pulling my weight and criticise the work I do. I teach English and literacy and as its a mainly boys school I have had lots of trouble raising standards but I have - greatly. Instead of being praised for this, I am ignored and not included in the little clique of teachers who drink together. The last straw has come when I have put in a grievance procedure against a member of staff who kept removing my posts from the school website with no explanation. This person is a pagan and the first thing she ever said to me is There is no God, despite the fact she knew I was a Christian. The management listen to everyone but me and I have no voice in this place. There are many discrepancies in this school and I am worried about the students. I almost got another job recently. Just missed it! Is it the Lords plan I should stay here, despite the stress affecting my health. Help me Lord please....if you want me here open some doors, if not...PLEASE show me the way out with another position. Its taking over my life and getting out of hand.

Louise Thank you for your prayers on my behalf. My neck surgery has been delayed from 1/3/13 due to a decreasing white blood count that has gone well in to the abnormal range. So, Ive been sent to an Oncologist for evaluation. Im drinking organic fruit & vegetable drinks with seeds & nuts blended to hopefully help boost my WBC. Gotta get that WBC up so, I can get this surgery and move forward. Thank you again for your prayers. God bless, Louise

I trust in God to help me through an upcoming major neck surgery on January 3, 2013. I will be in a neck brace for 3 months and Im currently on Family Medical Leave Act from work which means Im not getting paid and Im the sole supporter of my 18 yr. old son in HS. I need a "sooner than expected" 3 month recovery so I dont lose my job on 2/28 if I cant be released by the Neurosurgeon for work. Also, my other 2 children 23 (son is a Chef in Chicago), and 31 (daughter is the Director of a non-profit Geriatric Center), as well as my 18 yr. old son, are stressed out over this surgery and my well-being. I would appreciate any prayers for my speedy, full recovery and most importantly my childrens well-being. Thank you so much for your support. Merry Christmas!

He has a doctors appointment today to find out what surgery he needs to have to hopefully once and for all fix a problem he has had for years. As far as we know there are 2 options for him and one is brain surgery and the other is less invasive as its in his face, not his brain. Please pray for the less invasive surgery for him as he is not a man of faith and wont be praying for himself.

Jonathan It turned out to be a group interview, to which one man asked questions that each of us took turns to answer in our own way, and though Ive knocked out all questions, I did not recieve a contact for a second interview. I am currently still unemployed and I ask that you please pray that I find SOME source of consistent financial income.

My husband just got found out he has diabetes and he had a job where he was on his feet 12 hour days so God lead him to a career change to truck driving school so he wont be on his feet for hours at a time but my prayer is that God will give him wisdom and favor to obtain his CDL and for God to heal him of health issues and for our finances to be restored and for God to help my daughter get into the Air Force because thats what she wants to do and God has led her that way. Tomorrow morning (Friday) my husband goes to his court hearing due to a situation from the past. Please pray it goes well. Also, I am 36 weeks pregnant and having sever swelling in my hands... its finals week in college so prayers that I will be able to have less pain and to finish the semester strong before our son arrives. One last thing, I have been out of work due to my pregnancy and my husband hasnt been able to find a job outside of his small part time one at the bowling alley which barely covers our rent. Prayers he can find another job would be amazing. Thank you so much and God bless.

Hey everyone. Ive recently turned 18, graduated high school, and have started my sophomore year in college since I took early college classes. I am, as far as society is concerned, an adult. And that scares me. I still feel like a kid and the thought of being out there on my own scares me. Im still trying to adjust to the fact that Im really an adult now. My parents keep saying that I should "know better since Im an adult" but it doesnt feel that way to me. Im still living in the same house, still attending the same campus, still going to the same church... so I should feel totally normal, but I dont. I feel overwhelmed with all these sudden expectations of me. And to be honest, I dont even know if I want to be an adult just yet. I almost feel like I want to go back to being 16 and just have a redo of my teenage years. Please, pray for me, as Im scared right now. I dont know what Im supposed to be doing, I dont know what I want to do for the rest of my life, I dont know what direction I need to go. I need direction and guidance.Also, please pray that I make more time to take in Gods word. Ive been skipping days in my Bible reading and I still really need to plug in with a college church group. Im dying for some Christian friends my age. Thanks for the prayers, God bless.
