christopher david This is a follow up prayer request for Lorinda Quest...Ive been talking to Lorinda for about 9 months on the phone, chatting online,etc. Weve gotten to know each other as well as we possibly can without actually being together. We have basically fallen for each other and have been praying for the Lord to do His will in our lives. We have both expressed the desire to get married. We have been praying together and asking God for guidance. This is probably the strangest thing God has ever done to either one of us and we are actually enjoying each others company even though we have never even touched. We both desire for our relationship to go in the direction that He wants it to. We have agreed not to put each other before Christ. Jesus Christ comes first no matter what happens. Unfortunately, I am just a poor college student going to Victory University for my ass. degree in Christian Ministries. She is a student in Africa and she can always attend school here if she can get here. Not only is it killing me that shes in such a dangerous country, but also I forsee no way to get her here nor how to take care of her if/when she does.I am a certified chef, but I have chosen to go back to school to serve Christ. Micah Please pray for my family we all seem to be under attack, mostly health/medical issues. Me financial and job wise I am in the final four weeks of school and all this trouble is keeping me from studying and completing assignments. My fam that i am living with are still pushing me out the door even though i have no place to go and no job. As soon as school ends i dont know what will become of me. Yet they still ask for favors and expect me to do things for them even though they still want me out by the 3rd week of May. John Me and my wife made the decision to put our children in a Christian school 2 years ago. We have been doing our best to make ends meet but the tuition leaves only $6.50 left every month after the bills are paid leaving nothing for emergencies or any repair. I ask for prayer for us to have wisdom and understanding to do what is right for our kids and our family and that God will lead us in that direction. I as a dad want the best for my kids but I cant have my decisions take a toll on them. Please pray for us... God be with us all...

Gemy Hello(: Its been a really long time since Ive posted a prayer request here. Probably because I lost my faith. D: Maybe there is a bit more, because Im asking for your help here. But Im just VERY confused right now. Some of my friends told me that it isnt an overnight thing and it will certainly take time. But thats something else: What if there isnt much time left? We all know that the end of the world is pretty near. The fact that Im scared of it make me a lot more scared because my teacher said that if you are scared of the end of age, you are not saved. I want to be saved. I want to believe in God because I love Him. But whats happening is: I want to believe in God because I want to be saved from the End of the World. AND. What scares me most is the fact that I dont think I can accept Jesus as my Lord Savior because Im not sure if he even actually existed. DDD: And I found some (mean) verses in the bible. Like Deut. 22:13-22. Please explain? (: This march, Im having a major operation (Double curve, 50 degrees Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis) and Im hoping it would be successful. What if something bad happens? Im not being negative, Im being realistic. And also my education. Because of my operation, the school is letting me take more work so that I can cope up with the things i will miss. It pressures me and usually triggers my epileptic migraine. The school knows about this, so they are helping me with it, which is really nice of them. But please also pray for my health(: Thank you for reading something this long. Please help me. (:(PS: Im thirteen years old) xx

Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

With Love On Your Arms I am really worried about some things in life and being a teen. Im 16 and I dont have a drivers license yet or even have my slip/permit. I dont have a job yet also and my grades werent so good. I have someone in my family who tells me that I need to get my license and a job because I am making people have a hard time. Judiann First of all, please pray for our Nation....we are in very troubling times with unemployment, homelessness, hunger, financial woes, healthcare issues, etc. Secondly, please pray for the continued health and healing of my children (blood relative and not), that they may stay healthy, leaving all major health issues behind, that my grandchildren may not inherit the Marfan Syndrome that has attacked my youngest son, Ian. That Erik, my oldest son, may overcome the issues with his eyesight, that the kerataconis will be healed by Jesus and there will be no need for surgery. Lastly, please pray for guidance and wisdom concerning our impending move back to Tennessee. Praying that my health will be better there, as Ive chronicled. Topaz Hi, my fellow sisters and brothers in Christ :) I would be very grateful if you could pray for me right now. Recently the Lord challenged me to change my perspective on what Im going to do after I graduate. As a result, I have to switch courses around, obtain a co-op placement in a competitive field, and go against the negativity and pessimism that my guidance counsellor is projecting onto me. This is hard, as I have always been the kind of person to go with the flow, and while I frequently defend others, I rarely stand up for myself. Thanks for any and all prayers. Rachel Spoon I am feeling SO MUCH BETTER! =] I dont even feel sick anymore. I woke up early to prepare everything for my test, but when I went to go take it my calculator failed. I changed the batteries before going, but for some reason it still wonked out on me. My parents have been pushing my towards engineering and that used to be my goal, but lately Ive been getting the feeling that God has other plans for me. I was only taking this test (SAT Math2 Subject Test) because it was necessary for engineering majors. I dont know for sure, but I think maybe this calculator failure was Gods way of telling me that my path is something different. So, Im still looking around for His will for me, and Im still interested in music and youth ministry. Im just gonna leave everything to God, because He knows His plans for me. =] Thanks for the prayer and support guys! God bless!

Elena Thank you for all your prayers! I was mostly worried about my math here, but it turned out OK. Got all my homework done by midnight, (it is online class) and took my test, not the best score, but not the worst, it didnt affect my grade too much. I still have a B, but hope to bring it up. I have two more chapters to do! My teacher is giving us until Dec. 2 to finish it, which is good because now I can focus a little more on reading for my Theology class. Pray for strength for my reading in my Theology class. And that I would do a good job in getting to my Math earlier. Thank you! God bless.

ok. so in sptember (actualy aufust 31st) im starting school.. yeah! -.- the thing is thats i was homeschooled (even bigger yeaah :p) from kindergaten to 7th grade, then went for two years in a christian school... now im starting the "real deal" ... im affraid i wont be strong enough to stand my ground... =( id like to be "the lil christian girl" as were joking here... but its my biggest fear... to be conformed, not be strong enough and being intimitaded. and i knw nothing could be better than my bros ans sis in Christ to support me!! =) thx yall

Rachel Spoon Hey, I see why youre worried, and I suggest that you try to find a group of strong Christians teens to befriend. Its much easier to stand your ground when you have Christian friends with you at school.

Jasper Thank you so much for all your prayers. The results will come only at the end of September. I did my exams well and I await good marks. I will definitely post my marks to you all, because, without your prayers, I dont know whether I really could have written all those exams. The question pattern was suddenly changed and they didnt even inform us. The professors were themselves shocked to see it. But God was with me. He helped me. Even now when I think about it, tears are pouring from my eyes. Thank you so much for your prayers. God loves you all!

Please pray for me. I am doing my first year in Dental Science. I have studied hard and was aiming for distinction to glorify my Lord. But today, was the most horrifying day in my life. I couldnt write fast, I was so blank and it felt like like I couldnt finish my paper (I wrote Anatomy today) . And in the end, I left one question, mistook one question for another and wrote the wrong answer, and for the last question, I didnt complete it because I ran out of time. In my house, my mom, aunt and my cousin brother were praying for me and my brother had a vision and saw an angel standing next to me. I dont know what really happened. I was once made a target by some witches in my area and I messed up in my exams during my final year in school. And now....... I am confused... But I know something big came against me but was turned to nothing through Gods grace. I am facing the rest of my exams tomorrow (Biochemistry and Physiology) and day after tomorrow (Tooth Morphology and Oral Histology). Please pray for me. I am desperately in need of some encouragement. Tears are running down my cheek as I write this. My heart is shattered. All I am aiming for now is to just get pass mark in Anatomy and to do well the rest. Lord, help me.

AJ I commit to pray! But I encourage you...Relax. Not because that means youre problems will go away and God will handle it, but because YOU CAN BE CONFIDENT that whatever happens, God has youre back. The understanding of this is why Paul was so peaceful even as he wrote his epistles while in prison. You can learn what you need to learn, thats easy..even though its contrary to how you feel right now. But learning to have peace in the storm and trust while you do all you can do...that is a learned skill that only be learned by going through something. So no credit goes to defeated witches, but instead Romans 8:28, recognize that all things work to the good of those that love God. Ill be praying for you.

I lost my federal funding for the Bible College I am attending... due to my situation the school cannot override my fafsa and therefore I dont have a penny for college. I feel God wanting me to go back for my 2nd year and need prayer that somehow the money will be provided. hello i need prayer for my body i broke my neck and back at work also my insurance cut me off and i still cant work i also am going through a divorce battle and custody battle with my daughters mom and my daughter lives ith me right now and my mother in law is on my side about the custody and i would like god to be on my side as well i also have a lawyer working on my insurance case to try and start up my pay check again and get the treatment i need i am in washington state trying to be good father to my daughter and i need help with all of this i also live out of my daughters school district and have payed for a cab to pic her up and drop her back home for the last 6 month I need to move closer to her school before school starts but i dont have the money to move please i have no family just me and my daughter i need prayer please this is to much of a load i am in pain daily

Bill Today was the day of my test. I felt a tremendous peace upon sitting at the test center. The test went really well. I will not know the test results for 3 weeks but I feel confident that I did my best and that the Lord blessed me during this time. Thanks to all who prayed for me. I can tell you that the Lord moved in my life in this event and that your prayers were answered. I said a prayer that our Lord would bless each one of you. Thank you for supporting me in prayer.

I am taking a big test on Saturday, July 9th so that I can become a teacher. Im really stressed and have much anxiety about the test. Im trying to release it to the Lord but Im having a hard time doing so. Please pray that I would completely release this to the Lord, that God would grant me peace and help me to succeed when I take the test, and that I would give God the glory through it all.

Yoly Lord, cover Bill with peace. Allow him to feel Your presence when anxiety threatens to take over. I pray he knows that You are in control and Your will be done. Give him the knowledge he needs for the test. Let You alone receive the glory. In Jesus name.

I feel like Im drifiting away from God. I dont know what to do. Lately, I find it hard to start praying, or reading the Bible. Im not moving anywhere in my walk with God, and its like I dont know how to start walking again. Im also under a lot of stress from school, I have a deadline coming up in about a month and still have tons of work to do. Ive also been having some health issues lately. And things at home are not so bad, just a bit uneasy. Please pray for me, thank you.

I am applying to a medical program this year and its my second time applying and I am very discouraged and anxious and afraid of all the uncertainty. I am 23 and I want to begin my life as an independant person and I live with 6 other adults and life at home can be very challenging and because I am in school full time, I cannot afford to move out until I get my degree. If I dont get in, I have to wait a whole year to apply again and will set me back! I have worked so hard these past 6 years in college and I really want this. If you could offer up two prayers for me I would be so very grateful. Prayer number one: To please ask that I am ready to get into this surgical technology program in Gods eyes. Bryce Thank you so much for praying for our trip to Cuba! It was a huge success, and though we couldnt tell people about Christ outside Church buildings we did get to show Christs love through our actions and through our giving. Despite the overwhelming poverty there are still people who love God with all their hearts and arent afraid to worship Him. Please continue to pray for Cuba, that the seeds that were planted on our trip begin to grow and the people of Cuba keep wanting to know God more and more.

Darcy I am going to the Word of Life Bible Institute in the fall!!!! I have been accepted the Nyack college and The Word of Life Bible Institute and just got two scholorships of 1,000.00 each and a Pell Grant of $5,550 dollars!!! I am so excited and ready to serve God and grow in the Lord during my time at College! Thank you all for praying and the advice!

I have filled out all the applications for Colleges I want to attend. Like Nyack NY where I really, really want to go to, and Houghton NY, Gordon MA, Roberts Wesleyan NY, and Elizabethtown PA. I finally have gotten the papers and everything to where they need to go and be, but I checked online on different websites and to all of the colleges that I applied to... It says I have like only a 30 chance of getting into any of them. :( I am trying to trust God and his plan for my life... Its really hard right now to do that because I want to go to College and be somebody, but I just keep feeling like a failure, like I havent done good enough. I am just so stressed with College stuff and I just cry over it all the time.
