Leigh Please pray for my mother. She is 70 years old, and is very depressed, having some stomach pain, racing heart, and panic attacks. She had a bad panic attack earlier tonight, and was very upset, and crying. She never wants to see a doctor. My brother, my only sibling, disowned her over 20 years ago, when my parents divorced, and it also hurts her greatly. Not a day goes by that she doesnt grieve over him not talking to her. She cried about him tonight, saying how much it hurts that he hates her. She says she feels useless, and wants to be able to do everything she did before. Said she wants to help me, but cant. She is in a severe depression, and I dont know what to do.
She lives with me and my 4 children. I am a single mom, after my husband abandoned us 6 years ago. I work very long hours to be able to take care of all of us. Sometimes I have to stay awake for 2 days at a time, and my health isnt the greatest. I have to work, and it is becoming very hard to function at all, because Im so worried about her. I feel like Im about to fall apart.
Please pray that if there is anything physically wrong with her, that God will heal her, and take any sickness away from her. Please also pray that she will not feel depressed anymore, or hopeless. Pray that she will enjoy life again.
Please pray for all of our health, so we can be strong, and happy. Please also pray that somehow, work will become a little easier for me, so that I wont have to skip a night of sleep, and have a few days off once in awhile to spend with my family.
I believe that the power of prayer is very strong, and I have witnessed it work miracles before. So I would be so grateful for your prayers. God Bless.

A Captivated Heart I would like prayer for people in other places of the world where hunger and poverty is stark. I want to make a difference in the lives of people who are faced with struggles us American do not usually have to face. Knowing that other people in the world, especially in poor countries, pay the price of our luxurious lifestyles drives me with this passion to give them the life promised in John 10:10 . My parents met and grew up on a church and has a very strong foundations of faith... Mo Ive been married to my husband, Steve, for almost 15 years and for that entire time, my in-laws have been a huge problem in our marriage. They are still attached to my husbands ex-wife, who although she left him for someone else, they still have her over and include her in family functions. My husband doesnt seem to have a problem with it, but I do. They have not warmed up to me, even though Ive been in their family for 15 years. Theres been so much tension and its really driven a wedge in our marriage. Steves daughter has also resented me, and thats been another source of friction in our marriage. Now that my husbands daughter is getting married this year, his ex-wife seems to be everywhere and since my husband knows it bothers me, hes being secretive about his meetings and conversations with her and it has been hurtful and really bothersome. I would really appreciate your prayers that God would intervene in my marriage and solve this problem for us. Thank you so very much.

Gemy Hello(: Its been a really long time since Ive posted a prayer request here. Probably because I lost my faith. D: Maybe there is a bit more, because Im asking for your help here. But Im just VERY confused right now. Some of my friends told me that it isnt an overnight thing and it will certainly take time. But thats something else: What if there isnt much time left? We all know that the end of the world is pretty near. The fact that Im scared of it make me a lot more scared because my teacher said that if you are scared of the end of age, you are not saved. I want to be saved. I want to believe in God because I love Him. But whats happening is: I want to believe in God because I want to be saved from the End of the World. AND. What scares me most is the fact that I dont think I can accept Jesus as my Lord Savior because Im not sure if he even actually existed. DDD: And I found some (mean) verses in the bible. Like Deut. 22:13-22. Please explain? (: This march, Im having a major operation (Double curve, 50 degrees Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis) and Im hoping it would be successful. What if something bad happens? Im not being negative, Im being realistic. And also my education. Because of my operation, the school is letting me take more work so that I can cope up with the things i will miss. It pressures me and usually triggers my epileptic migraine. The school knows about this, so they are helping me with it, which is really nice of them. But please also pray for my health(: Thank you for reading something this long. Please help me. There was no penetration, but Ive called Planned Parenthood and 2nd Floor and both said theres still a chance. I took the emergency contraception pill just now, but Im still so afraid that I could have already gotten pregnant so the pills would be useless right now. Im only 17 and Im so regretful of what happened and Im so stressed out and afraid to the point where I can barely function properly anymore. Please help me pray that I didnt get pregnant and that Ill be patient in the future when it comes to sex. Karla Anthony, God hasnt left you, hes walking right beside you through all of this and He hurts for you more deeply than you hurt for yourself. Just look on this board, people that dont even know you shed tears for you and keep saying your name in their prayers. Where without our Lord would that happen in this world. Those without Faith dont shed tears for people they have never met and certainly do not spend time to say that persons name in the hope that things will change and get better for them. Our Lord and Savior is here and present for you and you can see this through other people of Faith. Thats real and you are not alone. This to shall pass. When we are in our darkest times, the Lord will carry us through. Just keep having Faith and leaning on Him and those that share that faith. You WILL get through this. And remember, your parents are scarred for you too and they love you, thats why they are searching at all ends to try to help you. Keep praying Anthony. The other day, my friend had a major turning point in his life, and Im incredibly thankful for your prayers, and very hopeful that he will see this through. Rachel Spoon Well, I told his mom about it... I havent heard too much from him since then. I know he was really mad at me, but I did what I thought I had to do. I just hope that hed make better choices. He claims hes a Christian, but he doesnt live the lifestlye (thats why I left him). I can only pray that hed open his eyes and really see what hes doing. Thats normal for them, because they like to play "Zombie Mayhem" where they shoot each other with Nerf guns. This time, not enough people showed up, but he and some friends hung out there anyway. They met some guy at the park, and he did weed. He said some things about me, but I dont know/care if he meant it or not. He said he didnt, but he might have lied. elena i have a friend just like that i try to let him know how upset it makes me. the hardest part for me is he was always a friend. but the worst is that he used to attend my church and he used to be close to our youth pastor. now he smokes weed and drinks.:( the best thing to do is just forgive and forget. dont do the silent treatment do the stand up for whats right treatment. tell him what god has in store for him and that he is destroying the plans god has for him. god bless!

Lester My prayer is still being in the process of being answered. His latest report on his cancer shows his numbers are all normal. Now he has quit smoking (actually in the process of quitting. The Lord is moving slowly but surely. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Brianna I went to bible study a few hours ago, and the holy spirit truly fell in that place. I feel so much at peace. I feel like ive been totally freed from this. I just cant shake this amazing feeling! Im just praying that i can keep my life this way, and to keep taking steps forward, not backward. Even though they may be baby steps, at least im making progress! Thanks for everyones prayers! Lord, you are holy!

lucy God has been merciful and He has answered my prayer thank you for your support through prayer. Ryan is currently in Teen Challenge and says that God has been good to him, and that he knows that he is chosen. He says that he is taking the kingdom by force. Althea So, My family and I are still living in our house amazingly enough. Only by the grace of God do we still have beds to sleep in at night, and I am still planning on going on the mission trip to east asia with Campus Crusade for Christ. I have raised (only because of JESUS of course) 2460dollars and have 2290dollars left to raise. I have until may 22nd, so hopefully with prayers it will come in in enough time. I dont kn ow him all that well, bu tI know that many, many people know him personally. his name is Troy. He has Four kids, but I think only two are old enough to realize what going on. Pray for their comfort or their not know what is hapening though they probably already do. Their oldest is 9 or 10.....

Ive been unemployed since Sept 2010. Not able to find work ANYWHERE!! My EDD is ending in about 2 months or so. Im either "under qualified" or "over qualified". Im a licensed Phlebotomy Tech who hasnt been able to find a steady job since graduating almost 2 yrs ago. Very frustrating! Im not bi-lingual when it comes to speaking Spanish. Speaking another foreign language isnt acceptable for some weird reason. Im praying the Lord will lead me in the right direction for a permanent stable full time job with benefits.
