Vanessa My husband and I are hoping and praying for Christian friends. There are times when I feel a terrible jealousy rise up in me toward the friendships my brother and sis-in-law have, though I dont think they are always good friendships. My husband is lonely for a Christian man to grow with in Christ, to learn from/with, and just to have a good friend other than myself. What I ask above all is that any who are willing to pray for us, will ask our perfect Creator to make us worthy of having friends. Secondly, please ask Him to work His perfect will in our lives, in spite of our fallen-ness. (sp?) Third, if/when the Creator sees fit, that He would put us in the path of Christians he wants us to build relationships with, and that He will make it clear to us what He wants, as we can be so blind to Him sometimes. :-P Thanks in advance...Im glad to have found this little community where we can hold each other up :-)

Sabine Vanessa, if you are focused on any desire in your life other than serving God that is not Gods will. You are making your desire for Christian friendships your number one. Tying to fulfill the desires of your own heart to gain something - even something like friendship, is not Gods will. That is why you are feeling jealousy. You are allowing your desires blind you to what God has already blessed you with. Dont waste your talent, get out there help people without doing it to help yourself. Friendship is a by product of people doing good and helping each other regularly. Reach out to those that dont fit your profile of a good friend or based on the criteria of being christian. Rather look for people you can be a good friend to, that maybe really need a friend more than you. I pray you and your husband become servants of God rather than self servants. Look at your life and say where is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We must all do this. Then if we discover there is not much there we must change our focus back to God and his will in our lives. When he is there he works through us to make other peoples lives better. In turn we become happier or might even make a friend because it was created by Gods will at work.

Sabine I feel that ever since I found Jesus, my life has become a battle against the Devil. He has been working in my husband who is unsaved, my friends ( old ones unsaved) all new ones have turned out to be Christians, my family (all unsaved). Rejection, isolation, slander and terrible acts have come against me non stop. It seems the more I walk with Jesus the more it comes against me. I had no friends for a few years after I had children but I prayed about it and God has sent me wonderful people in my life. Despite this my ex best friend of many years has been trying to destroy all my work connections in my modeling. I am starting the path of learning how to act for the past two years now - she already knows all the casting directors in the city and is trying to sabotage my chances wherever I go. I know when she has influenced others because they are so different with me. She tells people that "I think I am so holy". Its easy for her to do this since all the people we know are either gay and or non Christian. I ask for someone to pray that she will cease trying to destroy me in my line of work and to people. I dont have her ability to win friends and influence people (her favorite book.) which I told her is very evil. I honestly think that something in her hates me and Jesus in me. My Christianity bothered her soooo much. But when she couldnt snare me with deliberate acts of trying to offend me while we were friends, she just one day started avoiding any contact with me. The next time I saw her I was left with a horrible sick feeling in my stomach for days. Then she told me that I have changed and that I am crazy (she was so full of hatred). All of this took place over two years ago and is still affecting my work because she does not stop .Please pray for her that she will come to know Jesus and that any evil working in her will be bound through the name Jesus. Please pray that my husband will come to know Christ and be baptized. The same goes for the rest of my family and in-laws. Pray for me that God will use me for his purpose wherever and whatever I am doing, and that he will turn all my curses into blessings, in Jesus name.

Sonya I am in the middle of probably the most trying time of my life, It is Christmas time which adds to the sadness. Recently I had invited a sister to move in with me until she got back on her feet. Big problem, she was not trying, and I felt taken advantage of at the end. My daughter also moved in with me for a month without asking but I took her in without a word. Yesterday at work my faith was for lack of a better word attacked. I was called to HR for giving out Jesus is the reason for the season buttons, and told I talk about faith all the time. Not true, I only tell about faith when asked. I know the boundaries and rules of my work place. I was and am so hurt. I cried all the way Home driving in a blizzard while praying for guidance from Him. I get home and think things are calm. But I get two phone calls one from my daughter chewing me out about Christmas, I said whoa what a minute this is the first I had heard of what you are talking about. My door is open to your aunt and I have made that clear. The second was from my other sister. Not chewing me out but telling me she was not coming to moms for christmas and neither were her kids. My world is an ultimate mess, I cannot fix this alone. I am also in the middle of a nasty divorce after 23 years of marriage. It looks like i may well be spending the holiday alone. Please pray for me. I feel so weak and heavy laden right now.

GB Please pray for my two nephews who have fallen for Satans trickery and one has proclaimed to be a nonbeliever and the other some new age universal God belief. They are good boys who were raised Christian but have let the evils of this world take hold of them. They are both in their early 20s and their mothers are both torn apart by these admissions. Please pray God removes the blinders from their eyes and shows them the truth. This is not an easy case for us (you and my family) as they are very set in these false beliefs. We need lots of round the clock prayer, as relentless as Satan is with them now. Andrea I am a single mother who has been in a relationship with a guy for about 3 years now. Well until recently. Everything was going great we had plans to get married and move in with each other in about 7 months.He already had a house in Alabama and he was painting rooms for my boys. We were deciding what to keep of mine and what to sell. I was applying for jobs out there. We were also supposed to spend the holidays together. We had had our disagreements, but never a huge fight and then out of no where he became withdrawn and angry all the time. Started hiding things like talking to people and what he had been up to that day. At first he was under alot of stress posssibly going to lose his career, but he found out that everything is fine now. Now he says that he just has some issues he has to work out on his own and its not fair to drag me through them, but that he still loves me and my boys and wants to fix this. But I dont know if I should trust him or if there is a reason this is going on and I should move on? It just came on so quickly! This seems like such a small problem considering what is going on with the world today, but this is my life and future and my boys lives and future. I just need help to know what I am supposed to do? Lana We are in need of moving into a home and want to buy one. We are on a limited budget, but we need to have my Mother come and live with us. We want it to be the Lords Will and in His time not in ours. We have looked at 2 houses just online and are praying, too. I also have health issues (asthma, COPD, diabetes, obesity, ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease, diverticulitis, menstrual issues, etc.) that have kept me from working since 1998 and I have been on SSD since. There are so many people in more desperate need of prayer than I/us so it seems odd to be asking for prayer over a THING. My health is at stake due to a possible surgery to remove or resection the bowel and being overweight. I am in the process of dieting and have lost 15 lbs. but I have lost some momentum and need prayer for this as well. Thank you in advance! Oh, how HE LOVES you and me!

Patricia My name is Patricia Stoddard, I live in Spokane WA, and am a member of North Addison Baptist Church. On Nov.26th I had surgery on my neck to have disks C4 and C5 replaced also to fuse disks C6 and C7 . I will be in a neck brace for about eight weeks (Dec.-Jan.) Im asking for prayer that the bones will knit well and that the titanium plate and screws that fuse the disks will take hold. The pain during recovery has been pretty intense too. When healed it would be wonderful if there would finally be some relief of my chronic pain Iissues.

Sue I ask for prayer as tomorrow (12/13) my family will be going to court to see if a trial date will be set or a plea bargain offered for the man charged in my sons death. My 18 year old son died in a car crash Jan 14, 2012. Ever since that day, life has been a struggle with my now incomplete family. The entire ordeal has been a tortuous one and I hope a just plea bargain is offered so we dont have to endure the ugliness of a trial. (As it is, we have been subjected to the under handedness of the defense). So I ask for the gift of prayer that whatever decision is made that the Lord will give us strength to accept it as His will.

I am thankful for everything I have, for because of God it is all possible. My prayer request is.. Nicole Thanks to all my brothers and sisters in Christ for your prayers. Please keep them coming...Wednesday Jordan got admitted to the hospital because his stomach hurt so bad, he couldnt stop vomiting and had lost 12 pounds in a week. After 24 hours of getting IV fluids and medicines for his stomach, he is in good spirits, and able to eat small bites of food without vomiting. Thank you Jesus for starting the healing process in Jordan and I pray for your continued strength and healing for him. May the attack on his body be stopped and may your glory and power break the bonds of sickness around Jordan because you are the great healer and physician and our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. In Jesus name, Amen!

My 16 y/o son Jordan is undergoing radiation treatments to his brain where he had a malignant brain tumor removed in May. Hes had 5 treatments with 29 more to go. For the last 4 days hes been getting really sick, nausea, vomiting, and angry that he has to do these treatments. I can barely get him to eat or drink anything. Hes defiant about it. He keeps enough down to stay hydrated but hes lost weight already. The radiation dr. doesnt think its related to radiation and all the doctors are closed until tomorrow. I will probably try to get him in tomorrow. Please pray for his emotional and spiritual health as well as his physical health. He is a Christian but hes really down and discouraged and angry right now. Thanks for joining me in prayer. Im praying for wisdom since the Word says "if any of you lacks wisdom he should ask God," but right now I am at a loss at what to do for him...Nicole

I recently got myself into a HUGE library because a few of my friends asked if they could borrow my library card for a research project and my friends managed to return 4/6 of the books they owe. I told the librarian at the counter that I would like to renew the books I still owe so that my debt would remain constant for a few weeks. The one that owes the last two books claims to have returned the books into the librarys dropbox, but Im not so sure. I have the money I owe to pay off the library debt, although I still pray that the borrowed books have been returned. Please pray that the library recieved the books I owe.

I have been taking care of my Mom she went to visit my sister. Now she may move there and at this time I have no vehicle need one. I will not be moving with her as I have a job here and responsibility here. I moved here to take care of my Dad who passed June 6th last year. Not sure what to do. t f Update: My roommate and I have been talking with our friend and trying to keep her focused on God. She has been reading a book called The New Eve. She really likes it so far. :) We are also going to read Passion and Purity together, so that we can keep each accountable. God is working! :)

To me, it seems as though after she vowed 6 months focusing on God that each guy who comes along has to be the "right" guy for her. I personally think that the enemy is just throwing these guys at her because it knows that she wants a relationship and will be easy to trick her. She knows that she has messed up in her actions with two guys in the past 4 days, but she does not feel upset or as though she needs to make any changes. Any prayer would be greatly appreciated. Also, if there are any book suggestions....?

This is a three month campaign that lasts until August. So far, I will be delivering almost 300lbs of food this Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Next deliveries will be early August and September.

I am leading a yearly food drive, where the donations are delivered to a local childrens shelter in Isabela, Puerto Rico. I humbly ask you please pray for these children, the success of this non- profit organization, for me to have the wisdom to know how to exploit all potential sources and that the donors have a generous heart. Bonnie I have an update...I am still unemployed, but God is good and I have faith that He will bring me and my new job together in His time. Ive just completed two interviews and am looking forward to a third, face to face interview next week. Please continue to pray that this will come through. I see Gods hand all over this. Hello brothers and sisters in faith. I was laid off from my job in July 2010. I have been looking since then, but so far I have been unsuccessful in my attempts. I submit application after application and resume after resume. I stopped receiving unemployment back in October due to a misunderstanding, and I have appealed the decision to deny my request for benefits. My husband is very ill and his disability income wont cover the rent, much less other expenses. Please pray that the appeals commission will find in my favor so I can have some income while I continue my search for a job. I know that God will provide for my needs so I dont worry, but I also know that things will be easier/better as I ask for others to agree in prayer with me for Gods favor. He says he woke up one morning and realized he was praying to God because he was "supposed to" and decided that he just doesnt believe. I tried explaining that God answers prayers and if we let Him take control of our lives, He will "have our backs" so to speak. Please pray for God to touch him and open his heart to accept Him as his Savior.

Shantel Thank you prayer warriors for keeping my little sister Justine in your prayers. God is so amazing. She came back from Asia safe and sound. Most of all they were able to share Gods love with so many who have never even heard of the name Jesus, the name above all names. Many seeds were planted. Even though you were not able to go with her and may not know her, you were a part of the ministry and you will be blessed. She established relationships and shared what God has done in her life. She stayed extremely healthy the first 2 1/2 wks even though the food was differant and didnt get sick until nearly the last day. There were no tragedies in the group or anything in that case out of Gods hands. Praise God! Thank you brothers and sisters in Christ! Shantel

Nique God provided a mover that would do a payment plan for me and my mom. He also provided the funding for other moving expenses and has been giving us favor with all of the complications of the moving process! Miracle after miracle has occurred and Hes made so many ways out of what I saw as "No Way"!

She lives in Pittsburgh, PA right now. Im an only child and I live in San Jose, CA, so its just the only way that I can be close enough to take care of her. Long story short, weve gotten the money to secure her a place in an independent living residence, which is a major blessing! Shell have 3 meals a day, socialization, and Ill be able to drop in and take care of her medicine and such. Anyway, I would like prayer that we are able to find the money we need to move her things out here. Weve already secured the almost $4,000 we needed to get the place, but she has a medical bed, clothing, and just a few small items that we need to move. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated, because I know that when 2 or more people pray, God works miracles. Thanks so much!

ivan My brother has been going through tremendously great recovery, and is in much better shape than before all this happened. Prayers for this continuing recovery is appreciated, and I am thankful for all the prayers so far. =]

Amy Praise God! I had been praying that the Lord would provide the funds of $3000 in one month to attend a missions Trip to Romania. On the very last day, to turn in all the money, the Lord provided the remaing $2319 needed to attend the trip! I knew it was meant for me to go! Thanks to your prayers God answered! Thank you soo much to all who committed to pray! God is so faithful and an amazing Father! Remain in FAITH and TRUST in Him!

Rachel Spoon This summer, I went to Hume Lake. The speaker, Pastor Albert Tate, gave a couple sermons that were EXACTLY what I needed to hear. I also met my accountability partner at Hume, and we spent the whole week bonding with each other. We let out all the sins were ashamed of and it was such a relief to be able to do that. RemiXx turns out when I stand up my blood pressure drops when its supposed to go up and my heart rate drops when its supposed to go up. Doc says it happens to a lot of teens and Ill grow out of it. Thanks for your prayers, it means a lot to me.

Hi, Recently Ive been passing out for no reason. I may be walking and just fall over unconcious- its been going on for months. And one time I nearly crushed my pet rabbit ( shes fine). My doctor doesnt know why; she said it is not like anything she has ever heard of. I had an EKG done(a test to see your heart rate) and next week I will have an EEG done( a test to see your brain waves) It could be anything-a seizure/brain disorder, stress, or heart problems. I would appreciate your prayers to get this figured out and stopped cause when I fall, I fall hard and heavy. I dont want to hurt any of the toddlers I take care of at my church. Thanks so much!
