Veronica One and a half years after moving 3500 miles across the country, my husband, along with 279 other employees were laid off...without notice. Many of his former coworkers are struggling. The majority of them sold everything and packed up their lives to move to another state and start a new life. By the grace of God, we have not been put in a situation where we have to worry or wonder where our next meal will come from or how well pay rent...but unfortunately I cannot say that for everyone else. I ask that you pray with me, that during this trying time those displaced employees find Jesus. That they call upon the Lord and see that can trust Him and lean on Him. I pray that through this, they can grasp an understanding on how much God loves them and how he wants to help them...they just have to let Him in. I pray that everyone affected by this recovers quickly and that depression does not sink in.
I also ask that you pray for my family. My husband does need work, yes. But I pray that the Lord leads us to the place where we can make the most impact for Him. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to pray with me. We appreciate it. God bless you and yours!! :)

Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

DIANE I pray for my Mum that she feels peace, love, and healing from physical and psycological pain. Please give her strengthi and confidence in her quest to train to be a preacher. Would you please pray that my upcoming surgery willl be a complete success as it is very high risk surgery. I also pray that my shoulder will soon be healed and that I will enjoy good health and no pain. I pray for inner confidence, self esteem and to feel valued and loved. L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. Rachel Please pray for my health. Ive been having weird symptoms. Ive experienced bouts of dizziness in the past, and still do occasionally. But whats really strange is the goosebumps Ive been getting. Now, goosebumps arent anything unusual but this particular case is. Im getting them for no reason, they are not provoked by an outside source and they are localized to only the upper half of the left side of my body. I looked into it and found out it could be neurological, something to do with what they call "hidden seizures". Thats pretty scary to find out but Im trusting in God. Im going to make a doctors appointment for next week to find out exactly what this is, but in the meantime please pray for me. Also Im going to Disney for Night of Joy on Saturday and Im a little worried about that. If this really is something to do with seizures it might not be such a good idea for me to go on certain rides. Just please pray for protection, healing, and guidance. Thank you.

Ashley God has just really been revealing to me that I dont have to go out of state to serve. So even at my church I have been taking every oppertunity I can to serve others. Weather its just taking there plate at the table or getting them water. And I have also really just been loving people and talking to them when they are down. So that has been really awesome. I see people the way Jesus sees them and its just really amazing. :)

Gloria Thank you all for your prayers. My daughters friend will need to go through chemo. She is upset with God, but my girl just listened and gave a lot of hugs. She also reassured her that God is big enough to handle her being upset with Him. Thank you all once again.

She has gotten worse and has had to have 3 blood transfusions and they found a tumor on her intestine that is cancer. They removed it and tomorrow she goes for a CT to make sure the cancer hasnt gone to her lymph system. Thank you. Glory to the Lord.

Collin I just got out of surgery and the doctors said that they were able to save 80% of my meniscus, which is a heck of a lot more than the 40% they shoot for! They said it wasnt nearly as bad as they thought it would be!!! Im sooo happy, Ill be on a mat again in no time!

Hi everyone. Right now Im really hating my body. I feel somewhat disgusted with myself. A couple years ago I stopped eating. I wore myself out running everyday. Im not really overweight. Im average, but I feel... just bad about myself. I could use some exercise, but Im likely to go overboard with it. My parents think its funny to joke around and call me fat. Ive told them to stop before, but they never listen and insist theyre just joking. Please pray that I can get over this, and live a healthy lifestyle.

Rachel Spoon Still really hating my body.. I was getting better for a while, then my mom made some comments and now all I can think about it how much Ill run or how little Ill eat. Im still eating and Im not pushing myself to run more than I can handle yet, but Im worried itll get out of hand...

omayra Thank you all for your prayers for Cristian. He is doing much better, but is in summer break now, just waiting for school to start to see how things are. God is good. He is such a good little boy. I love him with all of my heart. Thank you all and God Bless you.

KAthy Since her bday she has gotten so much better always room for improvement but god has been good. She does catch herself and apilogizes qyickly. sara Thank you all so much for praying for me and my family. I would also like to ask if you could pray that I get into the treatment center at the Lydia house soon because Ive been waiting a month and a half now. H God healed him and quickly! He has been released as of Friday to go back to full duty. His head still looks kind of gross to some Im sure (dried blood mixed with liquid stitches on shaved head), but he feels a ton better. Thanks to those of you who prayed and thank you God for answering all of our prayers!

Prayers for my husband and praise God hes going to be ok. He was bicycle patrolling (hes a cop) at the local park for our towns fireworks. He went flying down a really dark hill where a pedestrian happened to be walking too. Neither of them saw each other and bam. The pedestrian was ok, and in fact, was found bragging to his friends later in the night. My husband was trying to act all tough and kept working, but all his co-workers could tell he wasnt acting right and the chief required him to get checked out. Before that, he came to me and I put antibiotic ointment on his head and then he drove off (at the park). I was upstairs washing my face when he walked in and told me he needed to go somewhere. I got the neighbors to babysit (I had my 3 plus 2 spending the night) until my Gma could get here, and then took him. He hit the pavement hard. He has a mild concussion, a huge open gash and bump on his noggin, scrapes and bruises everywhere, and he can barely move his left arm because his shoulder and neck hurt so bad. I was able to get him in and out of a bath last night, which seemed to help. Hes on antibiotics and ibuprofen (they said anything stronger could mask a worse problem at this point) and they were going to put staples in his head, but opted for liquid bandaid instead. It was a little hole in the wall place I had to take him to, and they didnt do x-rays or anything. He goes back tomorrow, but for now he cant drive, bend, lift, or do anything requiring decent vision.Thanks in advance!

Bill Today was the day of my test. I felt a tremendous peace upon sitting at the test center. The test went really well. I will not know the test results for 3 weeks but I feel confident that I did my best and that the Lord blessed me during this time. Thanks to all who prayed for me. I can tell you that the Lord moved in my life in this event and that your prayers were answered. I said a prayer that our Lord would bless each one of you. Thank you for supporting me in prayer.

I am taking a big test on Saturday, July 9th so that I can become a teacher. Im really stressed and have much anxiety about the test. Im trying to release it to the Lord but Im having a hard time doing so. Please pray that I would completely release this to the Lord, that God would grant me peace and help me to succeed when I take the test, and that I would give God the glory through it all.

Yoly Lord, cover Bill with peace. Allow him to feel Your presence when anxiety threatens to take over. I pray he knows that You are in control and Your will be done. Give him the knowledge he needs for the test. Let You alone receive the glory. In Jesus name.

I recently got myself into a HUGE library debt because a few of my friends asked if they could borrow my library card for a research project and my friends managed to return 4/6 of the books they owe. I told the librarian at the counter that I would like to renew the books I still owe so that my debt would remain constant for a few weeks. The one that owes the last two books claims to have returned the books into the librarys dropbox, but Im not so sure. I have the money I owe to pay off the library debt, although I still pray that the borrowed books have been returned. Please pray that the library recieved the books I owe.

Keri Thank you again to all who prayed for Rachel...I wanted to pass on the update to how Rachel successfully had Surgery to repair her heart valve an they stitched the heart valve instead of having to replace it for an artificial one. And although there are still some obstacles to have to overcome, the best new of all is after almost spending a month in the hospital Rachel is home resting. Part of her recovery will include having to be antibiotics through an IV for the next 5 weeks but through it all God has shown mercy, grace and blessing to Rachel and her family. With the confidence in Jesus name Rachel can stand tall on the mountain top and look down on her valley and know that God was with here by her side every step of this journey. It is wonderful to watch how God has used this unfortunate event to bring glory to his name and blessings to his beloved child Rachel and her family. Thank you Jesus.

I want to say thank you to all who are praying for Rachel and im asking for continued prayer for her because the infection in her body has now caused a heart valve to be severely damaged and in need of repair and possible to be replaced. Surgery will be this Thursday or Friday. Also she has two brain clots that need to be dissolved by the medication or they will have to be removed by surgery also. Please pray over all who are taking care of Rachel ; from the Doctors, nurses, her faithful family and her children. Prayer over her strength and the families, prayer over her full recovery, prayer that in the end of this valley that God will bring her high on a mountain top praising him for his faithfulness, mercy, grace, love, and comfort. Its very moving to know that God shows us his love in so many ways; Gods Children praying for there brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus even if they have never met. Thank you very much.

Nicole Thanks to all my brothers and sisters in Christ for your prayers. Please keep them coming...Wednesday Jordan got admitted to the hospital because his stomach hurt so bad, he couldnt stop vomiting and had lost 12 pounds in a week. After 24 hours of getting IV fluids and medicines for his stomach, he is in good spirits, and able to eat small bites of food without vomiting. Thank you Jesus for starting the healing process in Jordan and I pray for your continued strength and healing for him. May the attack on his body be stopped and may your glory and power break the bonds of sickness around Jordan because you are the great healer and physician and our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. In Jesus name, Amen!

My 16 y/o son Jordan is undergoing radiation treatments to his brain where he had a malignant brain tumor removed in May. Hes had 5 treatments with 29 more to go. For the last 4 days hes been getting really sick, nausea, vomiting, and angry that he has to do these treatments. I can barely get him to eat or drink anything. Hes defiant about it. He keeps enough down to stay hydrated but hes lost weight already. The radiation dr. doesnt think its related to radiation and all the doctors are closed until tomorrow. I will probably try to get him in tomorrow. Please pray for his emotional and spiritual health as well as his physical health. He is a Christian but hes really down and discouraged and angry right now. Thanks for joining me in prayer. Im praying for wisdom since the Word says "if any of you lacks wisdom he should ask God," but right now I am at a loss at what to do for him...Nicole

Hanibal I just want to give Thanks and Praises to God in the Highest! While I was going through something during these last couple days, He has indeed filled me with His Holy Spirit, gave me enough endurance, perseverance, strength, and comfort. He allowed me to fervently pray, memorize, meditate, and worship Him! God Bless you guys for the prayers! May He always prosper you guys in all that you do!

Jacqueline I am moving in with my sister. I have been healing from the inside out feeling a whole lot better. No vehicle but I know God has plans for me. I thank all of those who have me in there prayers and hopefully will keep praying

I have been taking care of my Mom she went to visit my sister. Now she may move there and at this time I have no vehicle need one. I will not be moving with her as I have a job here and responsibility here. I moved here to take care of my Dad who passed June 6th last year. Not sure what to do. I have 4 small dogs can move in with my sister not sure that would work. I have health issues can not afford a doctor not sure that would be the answer any way would love healing

t f Update: My roommate and I have been talking with our friend and trying to keep her focused on God. She has been reading a book called The New Eve. She really likes it so far. :) We are also going to read Passion and Purity together, so that we can keep each accountable. God is working! :)

I have a friend who confides in me about her relationships with guys. To me, it seems as though after she vowed 6 months focusing on God that each guy who comes along has to be the "right" guy for her. I personally think that the enemy is just throwing these guys at her because it knows that she wants a relationship and will be easy to trick her. She knows that she has messed up in her actions with two guys in the past 4 days, but she does not feel upset or as though she needs to make any changes. Any prayer would be greatly appreciated. Also, if there are any book suggestions....?

melissa Thank you warriors for your prayers for shane he was finally in church today, but totally dazed and confused ! and not wanting to surrender! but he still needs prayer please !! but at least i know that the Lord has him under his wing!! Zombie Pickles She got sent to a mental health hospital place thing. She came back to church last week and hse looks happier. Please keep praying but praise that she if back. I think she is doing better.

I feel like Im drifiting away from God. I dont know what to do. Lately, I find it hard to start praying, or reading the Bible. Im not moving anywhere in my walk with God, and its like I dont know how to start walking again. Im also under a lot of stress from school, I have a deadline coming up in about a month and still have tons of work to do. Ive also been having some health issues lately. And things at home are not so bad, just a bit uneasy. Please pray for me, thank you.
