Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

DIANE I pray for my Mum that she feels peace, love, and healing from physical and psycological pain. Please give her strengthi and confidence in her quest to train to be a preacher. Would you please pray that my upcoming surgery willl be a complete success as it is very high risk surgery. I also pray that my shoulder will soon be healed and that I will enjoy good health and no pain. I pray for inner confidence, self esteem and to feel valued and loved. L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. He WONT seek Gods will. He can only see the fear that satan has put before him. He is a good man, but is being absolutely spiritually attacked. Rachel Please pray for my health. Ive been having weird symptoms. Ive experienced bouts of dizziness in the past, and still do occasionally. But whats really strange is the goosebumps Ive been getting. Now, goosebumps arent anything unusual but this particular case is. Im getting them for no reason, they are not provoked by an outside source and they are localized to only the upper half of the left side of my body. I looked into it and found out it could be neurological, something to do with what they call "hidden seizures". Thats pretty scary to find out but Im trusting in God. Im going to make a doctors appointment for next week to find out exactly what this is, but in the meantime please pray for me. Also Im going to Disney for Night of Joy on Saturday and Im a little worried about that. If this really is something to do with seizures it might not be such a good idea for me to go on certain rides. Just please pray for protection, healing, and guidance. Thank you.

Topaz Hi, my fellow sisters and brothers in Christ :) I would be very grateful if you could pray for me right now. Recently the Lord challenged me to change my perspective on what Im going to do after I graduate. As a result, I have to switch courses around, obtain a co-op placement in a competitive field, and go against the negativity and pessimism that my guidance counsellor is projecting onto me. This is hard, as I have always been the kind of person to go with the flow, and while I frequently defend others, I rarely stand up for myself. Thanks for any and all prayers. Jasper Thank you so much for all your prayers. The results will come only at the end of September. I did my exams well and I await good marks. I will definitely post my marks to you all, because, without your prayers, I dont know whether I really could have written all those exams. The question pattern was suddenly changed and they didnt even inform us. The professors were themselves shocked to see it. But God was with me. He helped me. Please pray for me. I am doing my first year in Dental Science. I have studied hard and was aiming for distinction to glorify my Lord. But today, was the most horrifying day in my life. I couldnt write fast, I was so blank and it felt like like I couldnt finish my paper (I wrote Anatomy today) . And in the end, I left one question, mistook one question for another and wrote the wrong answer, and for the last question, I didnt complete it because I ran out of time. In my house, my mom, aunt and my cousin brother were praying for me and my brother had a vision and saw an angel standing next to me. I dont know what really happened. I was once made a target by some witches in my area and I messed up in my exams during my final year in school. And now....... I am confused... But I know something big came against me but was turned to nothing through Gods grace. I am facing the rest of my exams tomorrow (Biochemistry and Physiology) and day after tomorrow (Tooth Morphology and Oral Histology). Please pray for me. I am desperately in need of some encouragement. Tears are running down my cheek as I write this. My heart is shattered. All I am aiming for now is to just get pass mark in Anatomy and to do well the rest. Lord, help me.

AJ I commit to pray! But I encourage you...Relax. Not because that means youre problems will go away and God will handle it, but because YOU CAN BE CONFIDENT that whatever happens, God has youre back. The understanding of this is why Paul was so peaceful even as he wrote his epistles while in prison. You can learn what you need to learn, thats easy..even though its contrary to how you feel right now. But learning to have peace in the storm and trust while you do all you can do...that is a learned skill that only be learned by going through something. So no credit goes to defeated witches, but instead Romans 8:28, recognize that all things work to the good of those that love God. Ill be praying for you.

KingsKid Thank you all for your prayers. There is some improvement in the situation. It is still pretty difficult and stressful for them, but I know that God can work everything out and do a miracle. He has been sustaining them for these many months. He will continue to be there.

DeVonne Thank you all for your prayers! I prayed that the door that needed to be closed would be closed. And thank you God it was. Everything fell into place for the other position. She had hired me before I even started!. I showed up, had the interview and start tomorrow or Friday! Even better, I will be paid before I move into my new place! And I didnt have to pay anything for my new apartment! And all my furniture for it has been given to me! God is soooooooooooo good! Love you all. Thank you for praying.

Please pray that I am led by the Spirit and go where He sends me. That I not act hastily because of my finances and miss an opportunity that God has set before me. I have been out of work for a while and the last company I worked with laid me off because of cutbacks. This has been a difficult time but God provides. LovinJC4ever Hello my Christian family. I entered a prayer request a couple of months ago concerning my son being bullied. I am sooo thankful for all of you who joined me and my church family in prayer! I wanted to let you know that we have moved to a new state, my son starts a new school next week and there are opportunities for him to attend a school through a state scholarship which specifically addresses his needs. We have found a new church home and I just cant praise God enough for what He has done for us! I havent found work yet and our finances are low but I am believing God for everything to be worked out...Just knowing that my son is happy, still shouting praises to the Lord and on his way to being the Honor Roll student he was before is enough for me! Aaaaamen!

hello i need prayer for my body i broke my neck and back at work also my insurance cut me off and i still cant work i also am going through a divorce battle and custody battle with my daughters mom and my daughter lives ith me right now and my mother in law is on my side about the custody and i would like god to be on my side as well i also have a lawyer working on my insurance case to try and start up my pay check again and get the treatment i need i am in washington state trying to be good father to my daughter and i need help with all of this i also live out of my daughters school district and have payed for a cab to pic her up and drop her back home for the last 6 month I need to move closer to her school before school starts but i dont have the money to move please i have no family just me and my daughter i need prayer please this is to much of a load i am in pain daily

My very, very good friend, Diana just recently went to the doctor and they found out that she has an enlarged thyroid. They did an ultrasound and found tumors, also called nodules on both the left side and the right side of her Thyroid. She will now have to see an Endocrinologist on 4/1. He will most likely do a biopsy to see if they are cancer. She gets the blood work back in 2-3 days and hopefully that will show positive results! Please pray that her results show the tumors to be benign and that she will be okay and they can treat it and please pray to calm her and her husbands mind and heart. Please pray that they come to Jesus during this time for comfort! Thank you so much!

Yvette Well, Dean died from the aneurysm while in Costa Rica. God did give Sabrina strength and comfort - I heard from others on the mission trip that she was a rock and consoling others who were on the trip with Dean. She continues to attend church and is doing well. Please continue to pray for her as she and her children learn to live a "new normal"

Frank GOD has some other plans for some of my co-workers and myself. The layoffs occured on Wednesday. There was 34 that were layed off and they offered lower positions to 18 others with significant cut in pay. Continue to pray for the people that were layed off, that GOD will supply their needs and that they will draw closer to him durning this difficult time. Continue also to pray for the other 18, that GOD blesses them with direction and guidance, with knowledge and wisdom to be able to make the right decisions for themselves and their families. I had already given it up to GOD so whatever would happen I know it is his plan working out and I was thought I was ready for whatever would happen.
This week has been a tough week and Wednesday was even tougher. I was feeling good knowing that GOD would be taking care of me but when I went to work on Monday I could see the fear in pepoles faces and I felt the heaviness of their hearts and it caused my heart to be heavy also.

As I walk the halls, the offices, the office complex I can see the fear in peoples faces and in speaking with some of them I could feel their heavy hearts and it has caused my heart to be heavy with them. Keep us in your prayers.

Please pray for me. I am out of money. Ive been unemployed for over a year and have no prospects for a new one. I am one of millions who are out of work right now, and the "world" seems to think that because we are unemployed, we are unemployable. I am looking for alternative means to meet my needs right now. I have approached both friends and family for loans, but my rent is due today and I dont see the money coming from anywhere. I do not receive unemployment benefits, I have no insurance and have not been able to afford medications for diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety or depression in months. Right now, I have what I believe is a pinched nerve in my back, but cant find out until after I know if I have an apartment. I cant go into the ER in case they admit me for tests, knowing that I might not have a home to come back to. I live in Texas and with the 110 degree heat, living in my van isnt really an option. I know I sound like Im whining, as there are so many more out there with problems greater than mine, but I am requesting prayer. Please pray that God will provide my needs. I believe in the promises of the Bible. Thank you all for your prayers.

Bonnie Thank you all for your prayers. My brother in love, Bill, did not need emergency surgery and was released from the hospital with prescriptions for antibiotics. He is still experiencing some pain, but has a follow up appointment with the doctor tomorrow. Please continue to pray that this condition has been nipped in the bud and he will be able to treat it without surgery.
