Kaitlin My mother and my stepfather both smoke cigarettes. They are in their 50s, and it is strongly affecting their health. They are constantly coughing. I have asked them to quit on multiple occasions, but it is not enough for me to ask them. I need Gods help to get through to them that they do not need cigarettes. samuel Respected Bro, My Name is Samuel Mullick, from Berhampur, Ganjam, Orissa, from last 4 to 5 months my health is not well i am suffering from pain in the body like pain in back, due to stones in my 2 kidneys and it is paining so much while urinating the same way my wife Suchitra Mullick is also suffering from Gastric and Diabetes and also she undergone through a major operation like Ectopic Pregnancy. Thirst Ok, so this is a long story but well worth the time. Its also all completely true, which is incredible now that I recount it, but then, God is incredible. I have a friend named Ben, whos a soldier for the British army, a veteran by any account, very experienced at the young age of 27. Hes traveled all over the world in his duties, including Saudi Arabia (and has used his experience to be a huge help for my future career of being a missionary). While in Saudi Arabia he met one of the princesses there, and the two fell in love. However, due to she being a Saudi Arabian princess and him being a British soldier, they would have both died if her father didnt approve, and he didnt. So they broke it off to keep each other safe. This all happened a couple years ago. Today, Ben told me he recently found out she was getting engaged in two weeks, through her sister e-mailing him. The gist of it was "Nobody likes the guy, and shes still in love with you (Ben)." So Ben is taking a bit of leave to make his case to the princesss father before the engagement happens. Im asking that you pray for him to succeed and that God wills for the two of them being together, and of course that they both come to know Christ through this relationship. I fear for Ben if God does not will this to succeed, so I also ask that should this not happen, Ben finds peace without committing suicide, and that his heart is healed. I care about this man a lot, hes one of my closest friends and I appreciate any prayer support you guys can give, for this incredibly true story. Finally, I ask simply that the Lords will be done, as He knows better than any of us. Thank you guys

Senzy My fiance and I have been engaged for more than two years now. At first he lost his job and couldnt save for the bride price. We prayed and waited until he got a job earlier this year but the job doesnt pay enough to even save a little. He can only pay for transport and rent and it keeps getting cut. Last week his room was broken into his belongings were stolen. Its like all the negative things are happening to him, to us now and it steals our joy and hope of making it to marriage.what we are asking for is for him to get a good job that pays him well enough to pay lobola and to get married soon.

D A lot of my friends, including my best friend, are really into a blasphemous webcomic called Homestuck. The comic as based around zodiacs, witchcraft, and characters becoming gods, among many other evil themes. My friends dress up and mimic the demonic-in-appearance characters. I really need them to see the true light of the Lord and that the comic is evil and stop their obsession with it. This comic has caused quite a few fights between my friends and I, and among them, and these fights need to end.

Andreas I would like if you could help me to pray for one of my best friends. She is pretty broken right now since her boyfriend broke up with her today. She says that she dont want to wake up tomorrow and face the fact that its over so shell probably not even go to sleep tonight (its 0.15 AM over here in Sweden right now). Judiann First of all, please pray for our Nation....we are in very troubling times with unemployment, homelessness, hunger, financial woes, healthcare issues, etc. Secondly, please pray for the continued health and healing of my children (blood relative and not), that they may stay healthy, leaving all major health issues behind, that my grandchildren may not inherit the Marfan Syndrome that has attacked my youngest son, Ian. Sue I lost my 18 yr old son in a car crash on Jan. 14, 2012. This tragedy has brought me closer to God as He is the source of all my strength and has given me peace beyond ALL my understanding. I wish I could say the same for my husband and older son. They are both very angry with God. I want them to come to church with me and find the peace and comfort Ive been blessed with, but both of them refuse. I pray that God will soften their hearts and that they will look to Him for help in this very difficult time. Sharon Please pray for truth to show itself for the Presidential and Vice Presidential debates.Obama is the modern day "Moloch" seemingly no regard for the life of the unborn. He had also opposed a bill allowing failed abortion survivors to be saved. He has expanded Planned Parenthood on the taxpayers dime. He is trying to take away the tax benefits for churches and religious affiliated agencies/schools. He has turned his back/us againest Israel. We are to stand with Israel as per our God. Revelation appears to be unfolding. We need to stand with God and his Word. We his people need to see that His Word, His family, our Family is heard. Stand for the unborn, those born alive and left for dead, for Israel. We need a President whose platform represents Gods platform. There has been no transparency as promised (1.7 million tax dollars spent in legal representation (DOJ) to keep personal documents out of the publics veiwing), the poor numbers dont lie either. Lets hold off the end times-vote. A one world government is on its way (some rights in the hands of the UN), we are monitored, and as we know should we not acept the mark of the beast there will be no goods.Obama had flags made; it was an american flag only his face was placed where the stars were, and the red lines were fainter and broken. He is portraying himself as a God, we have only one. Please pray for truth from the canidates, and the horribly biased media, which seems to be controlled by the President. Stand for our brothers and sisters, our God, the unborn, Israel, the poor, the Christian schools/churches losing and have lost their tax benefits. Its just so very scary.

Lucy My daughter is expecting her first baby in January and her husband just got accepted to medical school. They will have to move from NJ to Virginia by next July. Right now he is the only one working and finances are very tight. Moving means being away from friends and family. With no savings to speak of this is causing my daughter a lot of stress. God has been faithful to our family and I just ask for prayer for them to continue to believe that God will supply all their needs and that my daughter can have peace in her heart about this.

Rachel I had dated this guy for a year, but I made the difficult decision to end it last week. When I did he was fine at first but then he started calling me non-stop even though I didnt answer. It got to the point where I had to block his number. But before I did he started texting me saying that he was going to kill himself.because he didnt want to live without me, basically threatening to take his life if I didnt get back together with him. Im concerned that he might actually try to harm himself. Im racked with guilt right now because I feel bad for causing him pain and making him go through this. Elena Thank you sooo much for your prayers guys! This one was a long time ago! It was weird reading this prayer request I had put up, because I feel like I have grown in so many ways. And I have! I dont even know why I was so stressed out, lol. I ended up dropping the class, which was the best thing for me. As far as college, it didnt work out. Im still figuring things out. I have looked into another college or university I should say. It seems to be more of a fit for me. Semester starts August of this year, pray that it all works out! Theres a class I am taking at my church, Basic Theology. I will be over 200 hundred pages behind in the book and I am so overwhelmed. I am considering dropping it, but I really dislike having to do that. I have quite a bit on my mind, pray that I can just get it together and be motivated. If Im meant to drop it, I pray that the Lord would reveal that to me. And give me peace if I do. If not, then I have to really try hard to catch up! Also if you could pray about my applying for scholarships. Theres so many and I hope the ones I will be applying for are legit. Im trying to find money for me to go to Calvary Chapel Bible College, I plan on applying again for the fall 2012 semester. It is an unaccredited college and so there is no financial aid, because it is not government supported. I also cant get a student loan for the same reason. If I could just go for one semester, Id feel so blessed! Its actually not that much compared to most bible colleges, $3250 and a little extra for laundry and myself. I will be living on campus and my books, room and board will all be covered in the tuition. Im trying to look for the right scholarships. Ive considered applying for poetry scholarships, but Im a little nervous about putting my writing out there. And Im such a perfectionist that it might take me forever just to put one together or fix one of my old writings. I just pray that the Lord will motivate me, uplift me and guide my path. And bring me out of whatever it is that has been bringing me down lately. Thanks for the prayers. =)

Courtney I can see right now that you have a lot to face. But you know who already knows whats going on in your life and what should happen and how its planned out? Our Father. haha. Girl, first off, I just want to say YOU ARE AMAZINGGGG!!! You are SO SMART and TALENTED in so many ways hunn! You have a poetic soul and thats hard to find these days. You have a gift that the Lord blessed you with and baby, dont be afraid to use it. Oliver Oliver, I am also going through a very dark time right now, and it is hard to see the good in what God is doing. Think of Job- He went through tremendous trials and same as you, questioned God and what good could come of it. And God responded to him, asking Job if had in fact laid the foundations of the world? Or put the boundaries up for the oceans? He is saying that you might not see what good can come of this, but He is God, and He KNOWS BEST. Also, the Bible tells us that "All things work out for the good of those who love God." Romans 8:28. The Bible is absolute truth- so you can take comfort in this. God does not promise us a pain-free life- because of sin. We can just look at Jesus, the son of God, to see this. He was betrayed, beaten with whips embedded with glass, had thorns crushed into His skull, had nails driven through His hands and feet, and then was left to hang on a cross until He suffocated to death. If even Jesus had to suffer, then we too, are not immune to suffering. Jesus tells us to "Take up our cross and follow Me." Matthew 16:24. This means that there will be times when following Jesus that will be painful. BUT Gods Grace can heal our wounds! Please believe me in this Oliver, as I am and have been a very wounded person. He promises to give us Supernatural Joy, Peace, Strength, a clear mind, and self control. Go to Him and ask Him to help you deal with your anger toward Him and your grief over your wifes passing. And He is faithful, He will help you. Deuteronomy 7:9 "Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments." Prayer for my wife,Teresa Chong. For she have terminal cancer. Hope our dear Lord can give her a second chance in life. She just turn 38 years old. We have no one in this world,just the two of us. We have to fend for ourselves everytime. No one help us or guide us. If she gone to the Lord, I dont know how to live by myself. Please brothers n sisters of Christ,pray for us. Zuzka The tumor has been successfully removed HALLELUJAH! My cousin though got an infection so he had to stay for another two weeks. On wednesday he should start chemo treatment. I believe in the full treatment by our Daddy. May He be glorified in this situation and may my whole family return to Him..

Christine Thank you all for your prayers to keep my husband safe. He arrived home safe and sound last week; however, is back on the road again for at least the next two weeks. Meanwhile, we are trying to purchase a new home and are running into additional issues with finding a home that is rignt for us. I had a fairly strong relationship with my friend who moved to LA from San Diego in 2008. We started seeing each other again shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, things between me and her started to fall apart. As a result, she broke my heart and told me to move on. I felt all hope was lost. Hes waiting for a job with Law Enforcement, but the waiting period is 6-8 months. In the mean time, he needs to find a job thatll help with our finances. Our Lord has been awesome to us these past few months! Always providing for us these past few months! We were always able to pay our bills, even though finances were extremely tight.

My brother Brian and his wife Tinas family has literally turned upside down! Her son from 1st marriage is going thru marital problems caused by adultery from his side. His wife has feelings for her husbands step brother (my brothers son/my nephew). My nephew has fallen head over heels for the step brothers wife and has mentioned to the family that hed easily give his family for her. Unfortunately, he might be a daddy with the sister of the wife of the step brother. That sister broke up with the my nephew and returned to former boyfriend who are now living with his parents. We dont know if the baby is actually my nephews as of yet. We are hoping hed take a paternity test, once the baby is born in April. The step brother wants to attend marital counseling, but the wife refuses. My nephew moved out with friends because of the infidelity between the two. My sis-in-law has lost 80lbs in 5 months due to unknown reason. Cancer is hereditary between both of her parents. Shes the sole survivor next to her two kids. The enemy has REALLY grabbed a hold of this family! The step brother is still with his new love aka co-worker! My nephew is still with his step-sister-in-law! Everyones committing adultery here! Jaime Thank you for your prayers! My struggles and temptations have been easier to deal with lately, and I praise God for that and earnestly thank you for your prayers. I feel strong in the Lord right now, but I do know that temptation will come again when I am not feeling so strong, but I will continually pray for God to show me the way of escape when those temptations present themselves again. I used to play the synthesizer in my church orchestra but I was diagnosed with arthritis in my thumbs after being in pain for several months. (Arthritis seems to run in my family, children through adults). I have had shots in both hands twice and have been playing percussion in the orchestra to try to take some of the pressure off. Unfortunately, the pain is back in my right hand and getting worse. I love playing for The Lord and cannot imagine stopping, and I definitely do not want surgery (my doctor recommended it for when the shots stop working). I just want to be healed.

Mary Hello everyone, thank you for praying. Ill copy here my facebook post regarding answered prayer for our son. Happy Ending! FINAL DAVID UPDATE. Well, David went Wed. to Shriners and Im happy to report, he is cleared for EVERYTHING (Including break dancing.) Our son is doing beautifully. Read all the way through this please, as there is a life lesson for me, and hopefully will touch someone else as well. David is doing beautifully, as I said. His left forefingers bone has grown in such a way that the finger remains extended. He cannot bend it. There is not too much more they can do, except he will go back in May and they will look further. Essentially, they may do surgery in about year to fuse it to a different position. Now for the life lesson. When Mark was diagnosed with Autism, he was also diagnosed with Trisomy 8 (3 of chromosome 8.) They checked the results 2 more times to be sure. At that time there werent many cases, and they did not know the long term effects. They taught us how to look for bruising, etc. because childhood cancers apparently were common with Tris. 8, among other things. A few years later they checked, and then double checked, and then triple checked again and the 3rd chromosome was gone. In fact, he was written up in a medical paper. We were so grateful to God because the life-threatening condition was gone. So many people said to us, "well, if God heals, then how come He didnt heal the Autism, too?" My answer: I have no idea. I only know He loves Mark more than we ever could, and Mark is perfection in His eyes. When I look at David, and how close he came to death (2 seconds), and how amazing his recovery is, I have no idea why the one fingers bone fused the way it did. And ya know, I dont really care. As I write this, my son is at Gunstock learning how to snowboard. He spent his Thanksgiving holiday at a conference for sexual abuse survivors in Canada, and spoke for 45 minutes. His burns were deep and extremely scary, and we were looking at potential amputation. Instead, he is snowboarding tonight. If his finger is extended, well then, he can use it to continually point it Heavenward to the glory and majesty of Almighty God, who gave him back to us, and whose name David spoke in Canada. David will now learn to play the stand up bass with his right hand, and he had band practice just last night with his electric guitar. All things work together for good, for those who love the Lord, and are called according to His purpose. David is whole, he is well, and his finger is perfect, because that is the way his Heavenly Father wants it. Mark, with Autism, is created in the image of God, as are all of us. So celebrate with us, for all of you who choose, and point your fingers Heavenward and join us in giving thanks to a loving and awesome God! Oh, and pray for David (and the people in his path) tonight as he snowboards! hehehe.

Ramona Flo is now on a strong medication for Restless Leg Syndrome. It can interfere with her other medications for blood pressure and heart issues, but so far it has not. Please continue to pray that God will heal her completely, and she can get off the medication. And thank you Lucy!
