Jonathan Well, for more than 11 years, Ive known this lady and in Decemeber, we finally started to elevate our friendship to beyond that. During this transition, Ive asked friends to pray for me that God would help me be ready for it and to give me the wisdom and guidance to hold it down, because I know what its like me to mess things up due to my comfort in my confidence of not worrying about things falling apart. Lately, Ive sensed some lack of interest since this has been going a little lightly.. some examples could be her acting all germaphobe when I kiss her on the cheek or put my arm around her... and let me stop in the middle of this to just point out that in Brooklyn, most Christians in relationships are usually NOT the most conservative in case thats what some reading may be thinking first hand before they can even understand my point.... Other recent examples were me texting her I love you which we usually tell each other, and she replied with Ditto... I replied back with OK Demi lol as an indication from the Movie Ghost where that phrase was made famous which Im not even sure she saw it... Most recently, I told her I love you over the phone, and she said OK though she was very tired at the time, and on our last phone convo I told her I missed her and she told me I saw her The Other Day.... Today is Wednsday... The other day she is talking about is last week Thursday. Please understand that this relationship is a huge transition for me and I dont want to mess this up, so please pray for wisdom and guidance throughout this, and if I may be concerned over NOTHING, which I would LOVE to find out, then please pray that God would confirm that to me if so, because Im a bit afraid. Even as I trust in the Lord, I can still be afraid because he may have will that I dont understand and that has happened to me more than once before. So please keep me in prayer regarding this. Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

Zoe Ann My husband moved out of our house last April....long, painful story. Two months ago he admitted to a forty year addiction to pornography. I am numb, angry, poured out. 6 kids. Homeschooling. In ministry with evangelism, outreach, prayer. I am in constant pain with headaches, tinnitus, fatigue. My mother died in front of my eyes of a massive heart attack a few months ago. My best friend, my grandma, died five months prior to that. I am so very done with this life. Jesus somehow keeps my heart beating....please pray for me and my marriage and my kids, and for the testimony of Gods grace. Oh, and please pray for finacial matters. Due to his severe Adult ADD, my husband has lost 3 jobs in 4 years.

Heavenly Father, I would like to pray for my partner who is in a detention centre in Australia. J & J My (29yo) Husband was offered an expensive procedure to insert permanent teeth implants, pro-Bono(free) which is a HUGE blessing; now we have to come up with the funds for the trips down south (6 hour drive, that weve made twice now and will again 2 more times) and the expensive teeth in the next 4-6 months. He is also having two wisdom teeth removed before the implants are done, and because of their location near the nerve there is cause for concern - but we are giving this to God to handle. We are so very thankful to the Dr for offering this procedure and to the Heavenly Father for blessing us with this incredible opportunity! We have signed the release forms for the video interview, photographs and procedure video to be published. My husbands case will be made public to a medical study group (In Sacramento, CA) and online on the Doctors site, filmed and other Doctors will be in the room during the procedure for educational purposes. We are excited; not nervous or worried about the procedure but are focused on saving money to co-labor with God on this blessing. God has been calling my Husband and myself to a mission trip to Rwanda Africa with our church later this year, we want to go but will have to see how the Father has everything planned for us. All prayers are greatly appreciated. We cant wait for this to be done so we can share an incredible testimony of the Fathers grace and love. Thank you for your time! - The Hoovers

Jessica My daughter is a year old and has severe eczema. She is highly allergic to a lot of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, bananas and every time she eats them, her lip starts to swell and she gets itchy everywhere. She is still highly dependent on her soy milk formula, but she doesnt receive the proper nutrients she needs to grow up healthy and strong. Please help me pray that either she grows out of these allergies or we find a medication she can take so she can tolerate eating.

Sara My prayer is for my friend who is now in the state prison for a foolish thing he did while he was young. This crime wasnt violent What so ever. It was for stealing a pair of speakers. And now Hes doing a year in prison just because he was linked with other charges that they cant prove. I know his heart, hes honestly a sweet guy and would do anything for me an for his family an other friends. Hes been my call in the middle of the night on more than one occasion just to hear him say its gonna be okay. I havent gotten a letter back since hes been transferred and I just pray today is the day I get a letter and hopefully some good news. Please pray for his protection while hes in and pray he stays in touch the best he can.

Angela This afternoon I went before the Man and 2 ladies over the Juvie system and I believe your prayers for me was answered things went so smooth it was as though god himself was in the room conducting me the things I should say. They argeed to let my son go to volunteer church based group studies. But there was not enough time for me to speak about the other kids I was rushed as though this was a last min. meeting they held especially for me and my son. I will be meeting with the head over the Juvie system again one more time I pray that I am not rushed and I can include the concerns I have for the other kids in Juvie, for I am sure some of them have never been in a church or even been introduced to the ways of God. May god bless each and everyone of you at C28 you definetly have made a powerful impact on my life just by knowing there are wonderful people like you in this world. Angela

Who suffered a injury over 24 hours without going to the ER I went for visitation and saw the condition my child was in and requested to see a supervisor. I need prayers that I can open the eyes to the system of the changes that need to take place. There are many of them and only one of me! But God will be with me in this meeting I know he has prepared me. Pray that I can convience them to teach these children to hear the word of god, because where my son is they do not recieve any teachings. God Bless

My temp job ends this friday 10/21st and I have the opportunity to return in 2 wks for another 6 months. My problem is my memory. My supervisor is very frustrated with me that I keep forgetting simple tasks pertaining to my job describtion. She said I havent made these mistakes since I first started. Ive been praying for direction and wisdom. Shes not exactly the friendliest boss to work with either. Shes very blunt and demanding. She barks when she speaks. I try to ignore her daily outbursts, but I think its really put an impact on me mentally.

Elena Thank you for your prayers. =) The Lord has been doing a lot in my life and teaching me so much. Sometimes I forget to just trust in Him. God forgive me. Ive just been on a long and hard road, but I see the Lords fingerprints and I see Him at work in my life. Hes molding me into who He wants me to be and opening my eyes to things I never saw before. Im also learning about change, as hard as it is for me, thats the way life is...and sometimes change is good. But at least I have comfort in knowing that the Lord never changes. Im just trying to keep my eyes on the Lord and not worry so much about other people. And to guard my heart and not let it deceive or control me and my emotions. Thank you again, and pray that the Lord would give me strength and patience. God bless.

Pray for my depression, feelings of worthlessness (not being happy with myself) along with all my anxieties and worrying about what others are thinking about me. I need someone my own age who would truly reach out to me at my home church. Pray also for my church, I feel like they are not 100 there for me. I dont feel like I need to go to another church, but something is off in the body and I feel it. Pray for Gods will for me about Bible College. Ive been waiting two years since I graduated from high school and Im just getting frustrated not knowing what to do in the meantime. I also need a real job. And lastly, I think I may like this guy at my church, but dont know if he feels the same way. Ive never even talked to him, but seeing him every Sunday playing in the worship team is both distracting and painful. Sometimes I do not even want to go to church because of him. I just got a lot going on, too much worry on my mind. I am also behind in my online math class. I have to finish my homework by midnight tonight and Im already stuck! Elena Hi, My brother in laws grandpa passed away last Saturday, early in the morning. We are almost sure he was saved. Just keep his wife in prayer, I was told she stayed really strong, but completely broke down when they took his body away. May the Lord be with her and comfort her. Thank you for your prayers! Elena Thank you for all your prayers! I was mostly worried about my math here, but it turned out OK. Got all my homework done by midnight, (it is online class) and took my test, not the best score, but not the worst, it didnt affect my grade too much. I still have a B, but hope to bring it up. I have two more chapters to do! My teacher is giving us until Dec. 2 to finish it, which is good because now I can focus a little more on reading for my Theology class. Pray for strength for my reading in my Theology class. And that I would do a good job in getting to my Math earlier. Thank you! God bless.

Codify God is still healing me throughout this process. But I am now almost 4 months removed from the relationship. I have written off the engagement ring, But just last week she has contacted me and is going to give it back because she said she does not need it anymore. Praise God. Codify I have had no contact with her for over 3 weeks, But slipped up and re-activated my facebook and looked at her page. Only to see scantily clad pictures of her and kissing a guy. It broke my heart, BUT confirms to me that God led me to the right decision.

Elena Thank you everyone for your prayers and words of comfort and encouragement. It means a lot and brings peace to my mind. Its nice to know that there are people willing to pray for me and with me. And I for them. The power of prayer is very strong. Even though we are not together physically, we are in spirit. "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20 The Lord revealed a lot to me last night, or early this morning. I am truly trying to give all my dreams and desires to God. I want to make a change and be more obedient to Christ. I trust that the Lords plans are better than my own. I really need answers and direction from God for my life. I dont know why I am here, or what to do. My plans have failed for Bible College and now Im just waiting to see what God has planned for me. I just dont know what I am supposed to be doing in the meantime. This weighs heavily on my mind everyday. Im just not happy and I feel tormented by my thoughts. But what I need prayer about the most is not really this, but that I would be able to open up my bible everyday and pray to God. I need to be closer to Him, Im off course and I need to get back. I need Him to show me my meaning and my purpose of being here. Pray that I will start being more obedient to God and stop wanting things only for myself. For so long I just wanted things to go my way and on my time, but I can see the Lord is really putting His foot down. hey every body. i went through a tough time sunday. i have this co-worker that is kinda going thorugh a ruff time in his life. last week we were riding in my work truck and were talking about the bible. now this past week our chruch was telling us about how we should invite someone over to church for a special service called THE CHAIR SERIES. its about people geting saved by christ. testimonies. our pastor said that this service wasnt for people like us that already accepted christ in our lives. but rather for people that are in need of christ and change. so i told him about it. and he agreed to come with his family. so i thought that was awesome! this is what made me feel so bad. i feel so selfish.the whole week i have been praying for my self and family and other on the c-28 who ask for it. the whole time i never once stoped and thought about my co-worker and what he was going through. so saturday night i told my self i was going to call him and ask if he was still going to go. but i didnt! so the next morning when i went to his house he told me he was going to pass on that service. he said he had gotten in a fight with his wife the night before. so he felt angry! so angry that he didnt feel like going and forcing a smile on his face for anyone. he felt like staying home by his self. no matter what i told him i could not convince him to go. i felt so bad! like i let him down! i felt so selfish to not have thought about him all week after he agreed to go. we grew up together in the same town. see ive know him almost all my life. but when i found christ we stopped hanging out cuase i left all my sinfull ways behind me along with most of my friends. he has a small problem with drinking everyday. i feel so bad about what happened. so can we all come toghter and say a prayer for him. his name is arron. thanks peace out! your brother who loves you all. :)

hey everybody out there! god bless you all! i want to say something that has been on my mind all day. the other night i had a bad dream about my mom. right now in her life she is dealing with bad health. her hands have carpoal tunnel. her shoulder rotor cups are damaged. i think about her whole upper body is not in good condtion. and she still works. i feel helpess sometimes cuase i know she is in pain but has no choice to work. i cant help her out with money cuase im scraping by my self. i wish i could have a bigger home to take care of her, but the lord hasent granted me that. i know something good will happen. and i know i have to wait. well back to my dream. my mom apeared to me with her hands hanging lifeless. and she told me. Look at my hands son! look at what they did to me! look what happened to me! i asked her. who did this to you? she said my job! they made me work to hard and they didnt give me a chance to rest. they just keep making me work hard. her face was full of pain! my heart sank! she keep asking me. im i going to stay like this the rest of my life? she had so many tears in her eys. her hands were black as charcol. she couldnt even move them. like they were stone. i woke up and cried out to christ to remove these awful dreams. when i feel back asleep he did just that. i know that my faith is strong with god. he has changed my life so much. i feel so at peace in my life. everything but my moms health and her well being. i know that this is more like a story that belongs with the story writers forum. but my home is here on the prayer board. i feel so good here. like god has sent me here to help people out in there lifes. sometimes when i write, things come out that i never thought i would say. my whole life i never was good a writhing or spelling. but i feel difrent when i come to the prayer board. something in sideme comes alive. well i know that was just a dream. but it was was ugly. and its been geting me a little down. well C-28 PEPS THANKS FOR READING MY DREAM. i love you all! and i wish everybody a happy life. god bless you all out there going through tuff times. just remember. there is light at the end of every dark tunnel. we are not without fathers in life. our great lord is taking care of us everyday. peace out my brothers and sisters! peace out to my lil sisters! you all know who you are! love you all!

i want to say a prayer for the radio station called k-love! thats a station that cares for the world! they were having a pledge week to raise money to keep all the staions from shuting down. i hope they reached their goal! i was listening to it yesterday and i felt something in my heart to donate something. anything but im kinda short on cash right now. times are tuff for me and my family right now. all day i heard them talking about it. i keep fight it off and just thought that maybe the rest of the world could do their part i wouldnt have to. i was wrong. the D.J said that only 5 of k=love listners actually donate money! can you belive that? so i picked up the phone and did it! i pleged 10 bucks a month. i texted my wife after and told her what i did. so could not belive it! she told me earlier that day in the afternoon she prayed to god that i would pleged something! she was crying when i told her what i did. god moved me through her prayer! thats awesome! god is so great some times you have no idea. i love you all out there so please pray that k-love met their goal.

my grandfather is in hospital. they dont know exactly whats wrong with him, but it is really tough for us as family to stay strong in the believing in God. please pray for his health. i love him too much to let him go.. thank you!

Gabriella shes doing muuuuuuuch better, she only has a really little tumor now. about 4 weeks and shell be free from the cancer, if everything goes as planned. continue praying:)

Jonathan After breaking up with this man, she was totally depressed about it, and kept crying over it. Despite how well he has taken care of her, she is in this relationship for many wrong reasons. within only about few days, they got back together like as if nothing was lost. This man has acts of the world, and I know my sister isnt saved. so please pray that God can fix them individually, and if it is in HIS WILL to fix them as a unit.

OK.... so My sister has been seeing this man whom has been very care taking to her and her son. theyve known each other for a while, and have been together for about a few months... Now shes not an everyday praying person, but she has been asking me to pray for her like more than once. The reason is because she knows hes not for her, and the main reason why theyre still together is because shes afraid of the worst... plain and simple. Usually when brake-ups like this happen, they dont go down peacefully. Shes asking for prayer that all goes well and as peacefully as possible when the time comes, because she is very afraid of how this will go down. All prayer commitments are truly appreciated.
