Jennifer Mae I was saved a year ago and have been blessed with the mercy of God since my dedication, although I find struggles with almost every aspect of my life; work, family, friends, health, finances, relationship, etc. I trust God is working his grace to fulfill my plan, whatever that may be, so while I could use prayers for myself, my prayer request goes out to all the others I know who are struggling - mainly women. So many women/friends in my life seem to rest their happiness in man instead of God. My prayer is that women find self-respect, love in God, and are able to see that there is more than settling for anybody to fill a void of loneliness when the Lord will provide with the right man at the right time. I pray for all those hurting, struggling, and fighting. This darkness can be defeated if we all shed our light.

Kaitlin I work as a bank teller, and I have been working at this job for about five/six months with no previous bank experience. I still ask a lot of questions because a lot of the things that seem simple to the other tellers have been brand new to me. Recently, I made a mistake in giving someone information on an account. I normally would have asked someone for help on the situation, but I have been feeling like all of my co-workers are annoyed with me when I ask them questions. There arent always procedures for things that I need to know, and there isnt always time to read through them if a customer is standing in front of me. I just need help communicating with my co-workers, so they know that I still am learning a lot with this job. It has overwhelmed me when I try to struggle through something that I have never done before, and no one seems willing to help.

Audra Lynn I was married for 18 years to a Christian man but he was violent abusive to me and my 6 children. Years we had suffered, and we discovered more and more frightening facts about him, he had intended to lethally harm us all. Being a devout Christian I never believed in divorce but 18 years later God finally released my heart and mind from the bondage and I knew He wanted us free..... A year after the divorce is final and after finally escaping him stalking us.... To my surprise God has brought a man into my life that I could never had expected!... I truly never knew that this kind of emotion existed and I am so incredibly thankful.... They relationship is still new, only months old but we have not been able to take things slow our hearts dove in at first sight.... We are both Christian and both share the same believes and convictions... I just request pray and blessings our our new life and this beautiful new thing in my life.... I am so thankful.... My children now have a good man they can look up to and I now have an amazing man to love and support me like I did not know possible!... Thank you for your prayers!!! God Bless... Masked Girl I really wish my mom could not be stuck with my stepdad. I do not hate him but I just wished that he lived with his own family members. He just lives off of us and doesnt pay for anything. My mom cannot kick him out of the house because they have two children together. It makes me wonder if my church family is real because my stepdad claims to be a Christian and goes to Bible study but he doesnt help my mom with bills and he is rude to my family members. About 4 years ago he was arrested for being on crystal meth since it was found in his car. I just want my mom to have someone to help and support her, not be stuck with a freeloader.

Sabine Since we moved into our home about 7 months ago, we have become friends with out neighbors. Their son loves playing with my children and we often look after him when they need help. The wife is east Indian and of Seek religion. But recently the opportunity has come up after all of this time that she is interested in knowing about Christianity. This is because her son who is 5 years old, is displaying a lot of jealousy, disrespect and self destructive behavior. Just recently I heard him saying things like "everyone hates me "and "I want to get hit by a car". She sees how my children behave and want her child to bee the same. I tell her that I raise them up using my teaching from Christ. Please pray for me that God will use me to help them and bring them them all to Christ.

Greg My 14 year old daughter is really starting to question God in light of the Connecticut shooting and a 16 year old boy at her high school took his own life. At first it broke my heart hearing her question God, but I quickly realized through God prompting me, that she is going to make this faith her own. She will no longer believe because dad believes. With Love On Your Arms I am really worried about some things in life and being a teen. Im 16 and I dont have a drivers license yet or even have my slip/permit. I dont have a job yet also and my grades werent so good. I have someone in my family who tells me that I need to get my license and a job because I am making people have a hard time. tiffani I recently returned from a missions trip abroad and all seemed well during my time away i.e., i was stress free, i sensed the presence of God everywhere, i felt a sense of community love with others. Since my return, i have been a little overwhelmed with work, school and a friendship relationship which i believe will lead to marriage but lately...ive been doubting. I have known my guy friend for almost a year and a half and due to distance, ministry, grad school and our busy work schedules we arent able to communicate as much as wed like. Please pray that i receive wisdom, patience and guidance as i work through my grad program, search for a new job and wait on marriage.

Jonathan Well, Praise the Lord, Ive only had to work there for a total of two nights. I was a little bothered that I was not called to be there for the rest of the season, but I prayed Gods will, and I did all I could to be apart of that, and whether they didnt like me over there, or they didnt have room, or what-not, God took me out of it. Till this day, I have not had another job since, so I ask that you please say a final prayer regarding this aftre youve read this. I believe I have the victory out of that, but every movie that ends with a marriage, isnt the final ending in reality.. sooooo... if you get my spiritual metaphor here, I need a new job. A job that God would be pleased of me when I do it right. My prayer is mostly with the Fire Department of New York as Ive recently submitted an application to take that test.

After applying to sooo many jobs that I feel way over-qualified for, What Job calls me back? Nightmare Haunted House in NYC. This place is soo spiritually conflicting to me, and Ive quit in 08, but financially desperate, I told a friend there that if he put me down then I wouldnt do it again cuz itd be on him to. Jeremiah Things are still progressing, and fundraising Ideas are flowing, Praise the Lord, come to find that instead of needing 10K like origionaly thought I only need 5K now. Also the mission organization I am going through is able to provide 2K to help me out.

He has banned her from the family and will not let her visit her sister for Christmas. Her stepmother has no "pull" in the issue. The man is stubborn and insensitive. Shellys birth mother lives in Mississippi and is in the AF overseas in Afghanistan. I feel so bad for the girl. She is 18 and finishing school; has 2 jobs, plans on putting herself through community college, and marrying my son in the future. Please pray for Shelly to let go and let God. Give her comfort and peace in her heart that shes tried with her father. He is missing out on so much....prayers that he will see how much he needs both of his daughters in his life. Thank you... I just have a prayer request about me and my sister, I guess. I just have a really hard time with her being married. For some reason, it was just so hard for me. I feel like my brother in law is stealing her away. They are both saved, but its just so hard. Compared to most couples they are great when it comes to not being all about each other. But sometimes I do feel like a third wheel and it makes me really hurt inside. My views of marriage have changed drastically since they married and not in a good way. I struggle so much with the thought of marriage, I dont fully like it. I feel like marriage is what stole my sister away and how could I take marriage stealing me away? I just ask for your prayers, with the holidays approaching, its hard. Thanks.

Keep my Dad in your prayers about this whole thing with the cirrhosis of his liver. I cant see him going through ANOTHER liver transplant, its too dangerous. Im just trusting in the Lord that He will take care of the situation. Pray that my Dad will keep fighting. Hes scheduled for some tests January of next year, concerning his liver. Pray for everything to go well, that they can get it under control and that whatever medication they give wont interfere with the medication he is on now (some of them he cant go without). Pray that the Lord would keep him safe and away from harm and keep him from having any more strokes (blood clots). And also that he would try to be more active and not sleep so much and actually try and be successful in losing weight. Thank you! Your prayers mean so much! God bless you.

Elena I told my mom about the email, suggested for her not to read it, but left the decision up to her. I told her most of the things that was written, but also said (which is the truth) its just not worth reading. Just pray for my moms healing and if and when she decides to read the email, may the Lord prepare her and not let her take the things her sister said about her to heart. Also pray that my Mom would just give it over to the Lord and trust in him. I hope that she will continue to draw closer to God, produce fruit, understand and have a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ! Thank you and God bless!

I help my Mom with her email and how to get on it, well I saw an email from her sister and have not told my Mom, because Im afraid that what it says will be very hurtful. I know it will....her sister basically does not want anything to do with her, and calling my Mom simple minded because of her past brain injury. Im just very angry and hurt for my Mom. I want to protect her and keep her away from harm...I just dont know what to do. Maybe my Mom has made mistakes, but none close to her family and she does not deserve the treatment she gets.
My Moms sister is very mad at her. My Mom is just stuck in the middle over family drama. Im sorry, but her family is close to crazy, very angry people, only see one way and love to attack others. They dont know how to forgive or how to love, they are all adopted, but still... None of them know Christ, some of them are on drugs, or drink alcohol. Elena Thank you for your prayers! It is still painful to deal with, but I am just giving it to the Lord and letting Him handle all of this. I know my Mom will be OK, because she has me, my sister, brother in law and my dad to support her and uplift her. As well as our family at church! Thank you again for your payers!

I particularity worry about what others think of me, even those at my church. I come from a quiet and laid back family and so it is hard to connect with people because we are so quiet! Doreen Elena i know we all like to make a good impression, but not everyone is looking for a perfect person and this inludes GOD, he takes as we are and he works on us to change how we feel about him and others and about our selves. He is the only one who can change your thinking, ask GOD to give you HIS confidence. There is alot of people who feel ocward around people and they feel they dont know how to socialize, i am one of those people as well, i have always been that way and i do care what people think of me but i also at times dont care what people think of me but that is deppening on the situacion as well. I dont let people tell me what i should be doing, if i know its wrong or i dont feel comfortable i dont care what they say or feel about me i just wont do it cause there is always concequences on the decisions we make, so i make sure i dont follow peoples actions because im affraid what they will think of me. It goes back to the old saying " just cause someone is willing to jump of a clip does that mean you should to cause your affraid of what they or people will think ". So i pray that GOD shows you how to be comfortable and to be just yourself. So when someone tells you to just be yourself they are already telling you they enjoy your company and your a fun person to be around. And i pray this in his name JESUS CHRIST amen -|-

Brandon Praise God. Soon after I posted about my youth group having trouble this young man (heck afterall he is 21 & I am 32) came to me after one of our Sunday services. He said he had an idea to canvas the neighborhood . So we started the following day. We now have increased his flock with 15 new young people. One of them was sitting in Church and I noticed he was tearing up. So I went to sit by him. When the service was over he told me he never those things about God and that he always just thought God was someone to push you around till you did things his way. To make a long story short. He accepted Christ as his savior.

Doreen Lord i pray you help this women and her two sons. Times are tuff right now I pray her sons help there mother with chores around the house and there homework. Darlena I came from a single parent household as well and i know its easy cause i watched my mom work 2 sometimes 3 jobs just to keep a roof over our heads, food on the table( that sometimes she didnt eat very much) so that i could have more to eat, and clothes on our backs( and alot of times my clothes she either made or the good will and sometimes before the clothes got into the goodwill store). She had work all of her life since the age of 3 years old. She only went to school up to the 3rd grade cause her mom made her work in the fields( her mom used her 9 children for one thing only $$$$) her mom didnt work a day in her life. I pray that GOD blesses you that you wont have to work 2 jobs just to survive cause now days thats what helps to get our kids to be in the streets and taking the wrong path. Things will work out in his time and sometimes we arent patient with his time. I pray GOD keeps you and your boys safe and blessed. I pray this in your name JESUS CHRIST amen -|-

Rachel Spoon I did really really well on my SATs and qualified for more scholarship money! So far, Ive been accepted into 5 school and have received financial aid from 4/5 of them (at least $8,000 per year from each!!!) Im still waiting on schools, but this is a GREAT start! These are only the merit scholarships, so I can gain more scholarship money by applying for talent based (music scholarships) and for Cal Grants and all. Thank you God!! You are sooo good. R L The LORD is working. He knows my heart and knows I love my students. Satan decided he was going to attack me and though he did for a few days, The LORD beat him down. For the battle is not mine. It is the LORDs and I love HIM for fighting for me because I belong to HIM 100%. I Thank you for your prayers and ask you for more prayers. This concerns scripture I have in my classroom on one of my walls. In 4 years not one person had dared said anything about it until a few days ago. My school is getting a visit from TEA (Texas Education Agency) and this one person asked me to take the scripture off the wall because what might the people from TEA think? I told her I would do anything she asked; move books, mop, sweep, rearrange furniture, paint etc. but I WILL NOT TAKE THE WORDS OF THE LORD MY GOD off the wall. She tried everything but I did not give in. She said she would take it to the director of the department. I said Do it. I"ve asked the LORD to shut their mouths like he shut the mouths of the lions in the den Daniel got thrown in and I believe HE will and I thank HIM for it. My dad lost 2 jobs because sales went down in the businesses; Ive been trying to work doing handy-work jobs like gardening, car washing, cleaning, etc, and save money but most of that money has been used to pay bills or buy groceries and other necessities weve had but because Im on a visa i havent been able to get a stable job. Hell be mentioned at church, or something will remind me of a past experience I had with him. The girl in my youth group have been praying for me so I could get over him, and I did for a while. My friend prayed for my to get over him, but for those feelings to come back if it was in Gods will. When I told her about how I was thinking about him again, she told me what she prayed for. I dont know if I should take this as a sign from God, because Im very skeptical about praying for relationships after the whole mess with my ex (when I was twisting things to look like signs from God). John My prayer is that God opens your eyes to what He wants you to focus on. If its a person, so be it. If its the salvation of that person, so be it. If its a ministry or even just your own personal relationship with God, so be it. God is never wrong. We just have to learn to listen to HIm so we can follow!
