Jonathan Well, for more than 11 years, Ive known this lady and in Decemeber, we finally started to elevate our friendship to beyond that. During this transition, Ive asked friends to pray for me that God would help me be ready for it and to give me the wisdom and guidance to hold it down, because I know what its like me to mess things up due to my comfort in my confidence of not worrying about things falling apart. Lately, Ive sensed some lack of interest since this has been going a little lightly.. some examples could be her acting all germaphobe when I kiss her on the cheek or put my arm around her... and let me stop in the middle of this to just point out that in Brooklyn, most Christians in relationships are usually NOT the most conservative in case thats what some reading may be thinking first hand before they can even understand my point.... Other recent examples were me texting her I love you which we usually tell each other, and she replied with Ditto... I replied back with OK Demi lol as an indication from the Movie Ghost where that phrase was made famous which Im not even sure she saw it... Most recently, I told her I love you over the phone, and she said OK though she was very tired at the time, and on our last phone convo I told her I missed her and she told me I saw her The Other Day.... Today is Wednsday... The other day she is talking about is last week Thursday. Please understand that this relationship is a huge transition for me and I dont want to mess this up, so please pray for wisdom and guidance throughout this, and if I may be concerned over NOTHING, which I would LOVE to find out, then please pray that God would confirm that to me if so, because Im a bit afraid. Even as I trust in the Lord, I can still be afraid because he may have will that I dont understand and that has happened to me more than once before. So please keep me in prayer regarding this. God bless yous all, and stay safe this Valentines Day...

Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

Zoe Ann My husband moved out of our house last April....long, painful story. Two months ago he admitted to a forty year addiction to pornography. I am numb, angry, poured out. 6 kids. Homeschooling. In ministry with evangelism, outreach, prayer. I am in constant pain with headaches, tinnitus, fatigue. My mother died in front of my eyes of a massive heart attack a few months ago. My best friend, my grandma, died five months prior to that. I am so very done with this life. Jesus somehow keeps my heart beating....please pray for me and my marriage and my kids, and for the testimony of Gods grace. Oh, and please pray for finacial matters. Due to his severe Adult ADD, my husband has lost 3 jobs in 4 years.

I am so blessed to share my life with these extraordinary people and I thank you for this continued blessing. Heavenly Father, I would like to pray for my partner who is in a detention centre in Australia. You have blessed me with finding this beautfiul and amazing man and am asking for your power and stength to help me release him from his current nightmare which he has been enduring for the past two years coming. J & J My (29yo) Husband was offered an expensive procedure to insert permanent teeth implants, pro-Bono(free) which is a HUGE blessing; now we have to come up with the funds for the trips down south (6 hour drive, that weve made twice now and will again 2 more times) and the expensive teeth in the next 4-6 months. He is also having two wisdom teeth removed before the implants are done, and because of their location near the nerve there is cause for concern - but we are giving this to God to handle. We are so very thankful to the Dr for offering this procedure and to the Heavenly Father for blessing us with this incredible opportunity! We have signed the release forms for the video interview, photographs and procedure video to be published. My husbands case will be made public to a medical study group (In Sacramento, CA) and online on the Doctors site, filmed and other Doctors will be in the room during the procedure for educational purposes. We are excited; not nervous or worried about the procedure but are focused on saving money to co-labor with God on this blessing. God has been calling my Husband and myself to a mission trip to Rwanda Africa with our church later this year, we want to go but will have to see how the Father has everything planned for us. All prayers are greatly appreciated. We cant wait for this to be done so we can share an incredible testimony of the Fathers grace and love. Thank you for your time! - The Hoovers

Jessica My daughter is a year old and has severe eczema. She is highly allergic to a lot of fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, bananas and every time she eats them, her lip starts to swell and she gets itchy everywhere. She is still highly dependent on her soy milk formula, but she doesnt receive the proper nutrients she needs to grow up healthy and strong. Please help me pray that either she grows out of these allergies or we find a medication she can take so she can tolerate eating.

Sara My prayer is for my friend who is now in the state prison for a foolish thing he did while he was young. This crime wasnt violent What so ever. It was for stealing a pair of speakers. And now Hes doing a year in prison just because he was linked with other charges that they cant prove. I know his heart, hes honestly a sweet guy and would do anything for me an for his family an other friends. Hes been my call in the middle of the night on more than one occasion just to hear him say its gonna be okay. I havent gotten a letter back since hes been transferred and I just pray today is the day I get a letter and hopefully some good news. Please pray for his protection while hes in and pray he stays in touch the best he can.

My sister Veronica. She got caught up in a scam a while back and its affecting her finances to this very day. It feels as though the walls are closing in on her as the bills keep coming in and the mortgage still needing to be paid with little money to pay for them. She is trying to sell her house now which will remove the debt. My heart aches every time I hear how she feels about the situation, it feels to her like there is no way out. The house has been on the market for nearly a month with no one interested...Please pray that God shines a light to the right buyer and that it is sold for the right price! I cant stand to see her in this way. Thank you friends! - Australia

With the recession he is having to compete for entry level jobs with people who have years of experience. He has interviewed for a position close to our home that is all he every hoped for: great hours so he can continue ministry at our church, close to home, able to work from home, great benefits, limited travel, and requiring the skills he possesses. He had his fourth interview last week and still has not heard back. When he called Wednesday, they still had not made a decision. I am soliciting the prayers of this board that he get this job offer. We really need the finances. Thanks be to God that He has kept us to this point, but we are at wits end and starting to fall in debt with the rent, car note, utilities, etc being paid with just my limited income. Any prayers you have for us will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. :)

My brother has a job interview tomorrow(12-15-11) and he is really hoping he gets it. Only thing Im worried about is his past records (because he was in prison for a little while). Hes finally starting to get his life turned around, Im proud of him. Please pray for Gods will and favor in this job interview. But keep in mind that the devil knows scripture as well and he will guide you as well and have you believe that this is guidence is comming from GOD I pray that you can detect the diffence of who is really sending you guidence. REMEMBER GOD wont give you guience that will harm you or anymone else most of all GOD himself so use common sence and go with what your heart <3 feels. diane I would like to thank you all for praying for these two young people. It really means a lot to me since it is so hard to stay Christ centered (in a relationship) in today`s culture. I believe that God is answering these prayers daily. He knows their worries, and struggles They sometimes struggle with miscommunication but try hard. I thank you so much and hope that you will keep praying for them (F. and J.S). In particular, my daughter sometimes struggles with the situation that her boyfriend is often busy with other occupations (music, concerts which he loves) and she sometimes feels like second priority). I am sure that he doesn`t try to do this..it is just a communication issue. God knows them each one and, with your prayers, will help them. Thank you and blessings to you all

judi God still has not answered my prayer. He is still working on my husband and having him turn his eyes back towards me. My husband knows what he has, but he is afraid of letting go of his control and just allowing our relationship to move forward. My husband is stuck in the past and that is his issue. God is making me currently ask for respect from my husband. Asking for this respect means I cant contact him or go near him and it is very difficult. All I need is for him to quit texting his female friends when I am visiting and he cant seem to do that.

Joel Lord I thank you for the obedient heart that you have given Judi in her trying to restore her marriage. I can only image the struggles she must be facing and I pray that she would not give in to bitterness which can poison the soul. I pray that she would be a light to her husband and an example of what a woman of God should be. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." Lord I pray that Judi would weather this hardship and all the temptations that come with it. I pray that you would reunite her marriage and that you would bring her husband to the light we have in you. I pray that you would heal Judis heart from the wounds that her husband has inflicted on her and I pray that you would be her rock in times of trouble. One of my favorite settings to dwell worship is at True Worship Church in Brooklyn, New York for Midnight Prayer which is scheduled at 12am between friday and saturday, and tonight was such an amazing experience that even over an hour after it was over, the prophet that was there was STILL speaking. The few people that were there were listening to him saying a whole bunch of things INCLUDING (in paraphrase) "When I tell someone Im a Christian, or minister, or praise and worship leader, they can ask "Are you Religous" I just say no. . if they ask "Do you go to church" I say yes. . . they can tell me theres no point in going to church or tell me I shouldnt go to church, I tell them "Do you drive a car? yeah, dont take it to the gas station for the next 3 days" See what they say. Theyll tell me "Oh I have to bring it to the gas station" I ask why? what happens to the car when it doesnt? Itll break DOWN. I go to church, because (in metaphorically speaking) Im not pushing no car" . . . . . As awesome as this word was, that last part is where my prayer request comes in. while the few of us were there, I decided that it would be wise of me to open my mouth and say "Wait a minute, wha? you just said youre not pushing no car, that means youre pushing some car" (in reference to a double negative sentence) I find stuff like that to be confusing, but for me to say that was VERY UNWISE, and Im kinda not over the fact that I said that. after I said that, it was a bit of laughter, then everyone finally left and went home, but I know, and the people there know that me saying that was a huge mistake. PLEASE pray for me that I can get over that, and for the people that they can rather remember the message that they received more than that stupid comment I made. Interceding in your criticisms is of God. a public accusation is of satan.

Needy Servant Sorry it took so long for me to update, but i am always late. i am still struggling, but at least its more of a struggle and less like me giving in. i am reading more, and trying to get right. I spent a few long months away from this website, and I have been hurting. I have been slacking, no, honestly I have not been reading at all for those months. I have been quenching the spirit and giving into temptation. All kinds of stupid stuff has been my "excuse" to sin and shy away from God. I need Him, I want Him back, I want to flee from temptation, I want to kill sin, I want to be real with Him, I want to draw near to Him, but my flesh has been getting stronger and stronger the last few months while my spirit was being malnourished and beaten. I want to truly repent, I want to hate my sin again, I want to love Jesus more than ABSOLUTELY everything again, please pray for me, please. I hate where I am and feel so weak and far behind. I dont have any fellowship, I cant meet with the guys from church much anymore because of work and school, and the few people in my life I have contact with arent christian, or they are just as callous towards God as I have ben lately. Thank you so much, I need this.

My grandfather has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and he has never picked up a cigarette in his life. There is a mass on his lung and it cannot be removed with radiation. He is going to have surgery some time around Christmas and I am afraid he may pass away. My mom is planning on going to see him and be there during the surgery, but I want everything to go smoothly. He is very old and has lived a great life, but I could not bear to have my mom lose her last living parent. I pray that his surgery is a success and that he makes a healthy recovery.

Courtney I am so sorry about this situation! :( Know that so many prayers are with this family. This boy needs to know that he is loved by so many people, and especially by the Lord.. I used to be suicidal, and its very hard to get over so many things.. But the Lord is the only one who could save me, and He did.. It was a long, hard road, and this is the same for every person who is suicidal.. Keep an eye on him and let him know that he is loved despite his knowledge of a broken heart. God bless you all.

Tasha Shes still touch and go now and again. Theyre probably going to have to do a C-section with the baby to make sure shes born safely. Shes bigger than they thought and my sisters rather tiny. Theyre afraid if they cant get the baby to flip that theyll have to do the C-section because they dont want to do a breach baby, my sister has seizures now and again and theyre taking every possible precaution to make sure she and the baby are safe. Though her gallbladder is now giving her problems, they may have to take that out as well. Praying for healing over her and protection of my soon to be niece.

They were able to stop it but shes on bed rest until the baby arrives. This is extremely hard for her to do since shes so used to doing something all the time. Alyssa Faith Mark. Rep Went to the doctor and she told me that its just allergies. I also got a prescription for a nasal spray that is supposed to help my congestion and sinus pressure, to help relieve inflammation. She told me Ill probably have to keep taking allergy medicine through the whole allergy season which means through winter and spring. Lets be praying that this medication helps and makes me feel better. But I do have to say everyday Im feeling a little better. I feel better than I did 2 or 3 days ago. So keep on praying that this medication helps me.
