Veronica One and a half years after moving 3500 miles across the country, my husband, along with 279 other employees were laid off...without notice. Many of his former coworkers are struggling. The majority of them sold everything and packed up their lives to move to another state and start a new life. By the grace of God, we have not been put in a situation where we have to worry or wonder where our next meal will come from or how well pay rent...but unfortunately I cannot say that for everyone else. I ask that you pray with me, that during this trying time those displaced employees find Jesus. That they call upon the Lord and see that can trust Him and lean on Him. I pray that through this, they can grasp an understanding on how much God loves them and how he wants to help them...they just have to let Him in. I pray that everyone affected by this recovers quickly and that depression does not sink in.
I also ask that you pray for my family. My husband does need work, yes. But I pray that the Lord leads us to the place where we can make the most impact for Him. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication to pray with me. We appreciate it. God bless you and yours!! :)

Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

DIANE I pray for my Mum that she feels peace, love, and healing from physical and psycological pain. Please give her strengthi and confidence in her quest to train to be a preacher. Would you please pray that my upcoming surgery willl be a complete success as it is very high risk surgery. L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. Hi Fam, okay this time I need prayer for complete deliverance. Growing up I really hated the way I looked. I used to wear big clothes because I thought they hid my body. So as you can tell my self-esteem was extremely low. Although I had all of those issues and added to that I was shy, I still had friends but I never had guy friends. For a while I felt more comfortable around girls because I knew they didnt care about how I looked. I always felt that I needed to be pretty to be friends with a guy or to have them like me. That didnt stop me from having crushes but in my mind I felt like no one would ever like me. Needless to say I have grown from that tremendously but I still feel "haunted" in a sense by the way I used to feel and the way I used to think. Something that I have carried with me a long time was what this guy told me in HS. He said that I must be a "dyke" (meaning homosexual) bc I didnt have a boyfriend (or something to that nature). I had heard that term before but didnt really think about it until he said it in that way. It really upset me but I started feeling like maybe he was right. Ever since that day Ive lived in fear that maybe hes right. Since then I have tried my bestt to stay away from close girl relationships and I fear being around homosexual women. In my mind I constantly hear that guy and I feel paranoid, like every one thinks Im that way or that I may be. I know this sounds crazy but please pray that God delivers me from these thoughts and from homosexuality if that spirit is in me. Thanks in advance!

Their daughter katrina has a heart deformity & additional complications that make her "incompatible with life"; doctors give her only 48% chance of surviving birth; then if she does, she will need 2 surgeries the first week of life. Prayer for mom & baby, that theyre healthy and strong. Prayer that they will be surrounded by loving supportive people. Gods hand & protection on their family, that their faith in Him and His love never waiver.

Kennedy I want to thank of all of you for praying for my husband and I. I see the Lord working in our lives. I know my husband will one day come to the Lord because God keeps his promises. Even though the loan didnt go through I know that doesnt mean God is not in control....he is! Jeremiah 29:11 for I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future. This waiting period has been such a true blessing. I have become more active at church and leading womens bible study. I couldnt ask for anything better than serving the Lord. I feel that prayer was answered because he drew me close comforted me and I pray to always make my home in Him. I thank you ladies for keeping me in prayer.

I would REALLY Appreciate all the prayers that you can send up for, My Fiance Kimmie, Her test results last week came back and they think she may have squamous cell carcinoma which is a skin cancer. They have to do a Biopsy in order to be 100 Sure. And we really need some prayers here, that when they do this biopsy that it will come back to show that she does NOT have cancer, i KNOW the good lord above can hear and answer prayers and we really need a touch from God here. She has had Chrons Since she was 19, so she is already battling with that, Just help us pray as much as possible that God will give her a healing Touch. And that her Chrons would get under control and that this biopsy will come back and show that she does NOT have SCC.

With Love On Your Arms I told God how I wanted a cell phone with unlimited texting. If He doesnt give me one, Im definitely okay with it because prayer isnt a way I can use Him to get what I want. My girlfriend of one of my family members let me have her old cell phone that has unlimited texting and now I am able to contact some of my youth leaders.

Elena Thank you for your prayers :) Things are coming along with the packing, though we have a long ways to go still. Please be praying for my parents and our owner. The Lord knows what it is, I just want my parents to do the right thing. Oh and I think I figured out why I have been having so many headaches. I drink a lot of coffee, but I havent lately and I think my body is going through caffeine withdrawals, lol. I didnt know that could happen, but I looked it up and I guess it can. Dalila Annie Thank you for your prayers, the Lord did provide for me a vehicle, it was a rought 2 months struggling catching the bus and all of that I found out really who my friends were and who I can count, God did bless me my car is gorgeous and runs awesome I truly give God praise for my answered prayer. Katie Thank-you to all those who prayed for my coworker Tracy. She gets to go home today from the hospital. Now it will be months of therapy and corrective surgery. She made it through one hard part. Praying God will heal her quickly and she will be patient with herself as she heals. God you know she is such an active person. Please help her to not push herself too fast and help her find peace with her resting time. Surround her with light throughout her darkness. Amen.

Terry Thats really sad. My best friend has it, as well. Does your co-worker realize that you can still get breast cancer again, even with a masectomy. Is it in her nodes or breast cancer. I hope God blesses and keeps her, whatever she decides. The Cancer Treatment Center of America is a very good place...

If you could please keep me and my husband in prayer we are going to buy a mobile home and i am more scared of this than when i got married for me this is a big step, we cant afford the rent we are paying and his unemployment is almost done. He is a good man he is taking his money out of his 401k early so he is getting penalized alot of money. The rent on a mobile home space is alot cheaper than what we are paying now.. Thank you all. Yvonne To start off I want to thank everyone for their prayers.....My mother is doing better, the doctors have not figured out what the exact problem is. She has acid reflux on top of her diabetes, she can eat some food and hold it down now and I thank God she is able to do that. I know God will continue to heal her. My Aunt will be having surgery on the 27th to remove the mass in her neck and praying she will regain mobility. I know the power of prayer works, I have seen too many answered prayers not to believe. Again thank you to all who have been praying, I will continue to update as I get news. Thank You brothers and sisters in Christ.

Since being here our family has had 2 deaths and now my mother is in the hospital for chest pains, my aunt has a mass in her neck and I feel completly helpless so far away. I ask for Prayers of healing, for the hand of God to be with these DRs who will be working with them. God is my strength, and I want Him to be theirs. -Come close to God and He will come close to you. James 4:8

hunter we dont talk.he moved on to the new girl thats replaced me...but it has drawn me and my best guy friend closer. we talk everyday now. and ive had three people ask me out within the past week

Jenelle If you are afraid to approach him I would pray for the right words. As a married couple you need to communicate even if it means you take the humble approach and tell him how much you love him, want to please him and appreciate him. Trust me, God will honor you humbling yourself even when you have done nothing wrong. That action will begin to work on your husbands heart along with God dealing with Him. Hang in there! We are praying.

Elena Thank you for your prayers. :) My parents and I are supposed to be moving the first week of April. We still have a long ways to go with the packing. Im overwhelmed to the point where I just dont want to do anything. My sister and brother in law are coming down to help, but honestly I dont know what it is they can do to help. I just cant imagine everything being packed so quickly! I hope we dont leave anything behind, not just in the house but outside. Im afraid we might forget something! lol. Just pray for strength, Ive been so tired, too tired to go to church. And we still have to talk to our owner. If it werent for my sister and brother in law, we could not afford this move. Our owner has been smart because he hasnt foreclosed just yet, (even though he told us he did) so we cannot get any money to help us move like cash for keys from the bank. (Hes probably waiting until after we get out, so HE can get the money). We also didnt realize that when he told us to stop paying the last two months rent, that that would cover the deposit we paid for when we first moved in. So we dont get that money back. Maybe he needs the money...but really...its quite frustrating! Oh well, the Lord will deal with him. At least now we know, so if there is a next time (hopefully not) we will know what to do. Please continue to pray about everything. Oh and if I didnt mention, we found a place, so at least we have somewhere to go. Also, about the lump on my neck, its not cancerous. :) Just some annoying, but harmless fatty tissue. I guess I just had to be one of the lucky ones who get it! lol. At least, the lumps cant be seen. URGENT PRAYER REQUEST- Please pray for my parents and I. We found out in January that our owner is foreclosing on our house, which he knew about since the holidays. After some research, we found out that our house is not in foreclosure yet. We dont know what going on, weve lived here for almost 11 years. And our owner is not being very informative and we are very stressed. We found a place five hours away from my home (closer to my sister), but we need to know whats going on here with our current owner. The house isnt packed up yet, we still have a long ways to go. Please pray that our owner will be truthful and let is know whats happening! We cant play these games...we are hearing two different things from him and his wife, who are currently separated. We just dont want to be lied to and we want to know whats going on and find out if we even have to leave. We dont want to leave and never know what had happened. He hasnt even given us a 30 day notice and told us to stop paying rent in February, so that is why we are so confused, especially if he hasnt even foreclosed on the house. His wife says he wont foreclose on the house...we just dont know whats going on. We are stuck in the middle, but this evening my Mom and I are going to go over to our owners house and get to the bottom of this. Please pray that everything goes well and that we all can stay calm and we would find out the truth about whats going on! Thank u so much for your prayers! =) And also, if u could pray for a couple of lumps I have on the side of my neck. They dont hurt and I cant see them, but I know I need to get it checked out. I do have ways to go to a doctor, but if I need a surgery I dont have the health insurance to cover it. Jackie God is never too early, He is never too late, He is always just in time. Praying that the peace of God which passes all understanding will keep your hearts and minds in the knowledge that He knows your every need and that He will take care of you as you trust in Him. Remember that we do not know what our future holds, but we know the One who holds our future in His hands. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Elena Thank you so much for ur prayers! It didnt appear to be anything serious, I forgot the name, but I think its just fatty tissue growth or something. It just happens to some people, I found out that my sister has the same thing. The doctor said it didnt seem cancerous, but told me to keep a close eye over the next month and then come back for a follow up. I know it shouldnt matter, but the thought of these lumps on my neck bugs me, even if u cannot see them. I hope they go away on their own, they might. I could have them removed, but they might just grow back...I also dont like the thought of surgery and am afraid of scars, lol. Anyways, thank u again! Im just glad it doesnt seem to be anything serious! God bless :)

Christine C So far, God has changed his attitude toward the warfare. Before, Jay was afraid of the fight, and since the prayer request was made, he has decided to take action by fully committing to daily devotionals and even excercise. Our bodies are His temple, and from this warfare, Jay has learned that keeping it fit will help God to get through to us when we are in our storms. Jay is still planning to attend Bible college...to become a youth pastor. God is Good! And thank you to everyone that has committed Jay to prayer. May God bless and keep you all, always!

We have taken him to a Christian therapist who is helping him to see that he is facing the spiritual warfare for his soul. God is good, he is doing much better now, and he plans to go to school to become a preacher. Please pray that he will rely on God for strength and courage to face the enemy in the future.
