Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

DIANE I pray for my Mum that she feels peace, love, and healing from physical and psycological pain. Please give her strengthi and confidence in her quest to train to be a preacher. Would you please pray that my upcoming surgery willl be a complete success as it is very high risk surgery. I also pray that my shoulder will soon be healed and that I will enjoy good health and no pain. I pray for inner confidence, self esteem and to feel valued and loved. I ask that God will be with me in my career in education. Please give me the confidence to do my job well and not to endure countless stress. L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. He WONT seek Gods will. He can only see the fear that satan has put before him. He is a good man, but is being absolutely spiritually attacked. I think my husband will let satan get our marriage this time. PLEASE PRAY that God will step in here is some miraculous way. Mary Please pray for my family. My husband and I both work hard and are blessed with two amazing children. We really need to move to a better school district, but we are needing to sell our house. We want the best for our kids (as all parents do) and the schools that my daughter is in are not meeting her needs. We cannot afford private schooling. Rachel Please pray for my health. Ive been having weird symptoms. Ive experienced bouts of dizziness in the past, and still do occasionally. But whats really strange is the goosebumps Ive been getting. Now, goosebumps arent anything unusual but this particular case is. Im getting them for no reason, they are not provoked by an outside source and they are localized to only the upper half of the left side of my body. I looked into it and found out it could be neurological, something to do with what they call "hidden seizures". Thats pretty scary to find out but Im trusting in God. Im going to make a doctors appointment for next week to find out exactly what this is, but in the meantime please pray for me. Also Im going to Disney for Night of Joy on Saturday and Im a little worried about that. If this really is something to do with seizures it might not be such a good idea for me to go on certain rides. Just please pray for protection, healing, and guidance. Thank you.

Topaz Hi, my fellow sisters and brothers in Christ :) I would be very grateful if you could pray for me right now. Recently the Lord challenged me to change my perspective on what Im going to do after I graduate. As a result, I have to switch courses around, obtain a co-op placement in a competitive field, and go against the negativity and pessimism that my guidance counsellor is projecting onto me. This is hard, as I have always been the kind of person to go with the flow, and while I frequently defend others, I rarely stand up for myself. Thanks for any and all prayers. <3 Love, steph Update on Jeremiah: After a few months of relief, hes been to the ER 3 times in the past 3 days. Hes still suffering from the pain and nausea. Its possibly Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome with stress/anxiety inducing episodes. I would really appreciate it if you could keep Jeremiah and his family in your thoughts and prayers. My boyfriend Jeremiah went to the ER again last night for gastrointestinal problems. This is his 5th trip the the ER in 4 months (He was there on Christmas Eve and again on Christmas Day). Even after taking tests each time, they cant find the cause of his extreme pain, and unrelenting nausea and vomiting. No signs of gastritis or ulcer. I would really appreciate any prayers for Jeremiah and his family. We all worry so much and one of the most frustrating parts is not being able to pinpoint a cause so that he can be cured. I thank God that Jeremiah is still here and is feeling better at the moment, but any prayers would help. Thank you all and God bless!

Hes supposed to be going to math tutorial every thursday after school, but we found out he has been ditching every week! We dont know who hes been hanging out with or what hes been doing. He has such a negative attitude and hasnt been reading his Bible. Im trying to get him more involved in church by bringing him to another youth group that hes been interested in, so Im hoping hell turn around. He cares way too much about what people think of him. Some of his friends arent really the greatest people to be hanging around with. They could be worse, but they arent good influences. Please please pray for him. Im just here waiting for Him to give me some sign or opportunity. I really have no idea where He wants me to be going, so I just want Him to show me soon. I feel like Im running out of time. JuneBug His surgery was postponed for another 2 weeks. The great thing about it is that his doctor now says he has confidence the surgery will be successful. I trust in God that when the surgery is done he will be fine. I still ask for your prayers that when the surgery is done that he has a speedy recovery. :-)

theresa My husbands aunt got my daughter a job making $18 an hour tutoring kindergarten thru 12th grade. she can set her own days and hours to work. She is also trying to get my son a job doing the same thing. God is good!!! I just have to say my family is believers in the good lord. We pray together and I give my family communion at least twice a week. I will continue to keep my eyes to the sky and pray and know that Jesus is the only way. I thank all of you for your commits. Ive been hoping and praying for a way for me to start my own southern cuisine restaurant business, but do not have the capital to start it up. Our son Devin is 21 yrs old and has been looking for a job for over a year and half since his car accident which one of his friends past away from that accident. Please pray for his mental stability, he said hes fine, but im not sure. Our daughter Shateka is 26 yrs old and has been laid off work and has not worked in 2 yrs. Merideth God has answered and continues to answer as things grow in the city of San Diego. Churches are coming together and the police have approached the faith based organizations to do something. They said they are tired of waiting on city leaders. God is at work in San Diego and we are blessed to be a part of his moving. Cant wait to see what he is going to do.

VickiLemonadeGirl Zwie died at home on Wednesday, April 4th. We were all with him but the emptiness of him being gone and not healed is very hard on all of us. Not sleeping well, cant eat. We need prayer for our dog, Zwie, who is very sick. He is only 7 and we have spent several thousand dollars in vet bills on him. We need a miracle. He was a gift from God as he was the son of our dog who had died but gotten the mom pregnant 1 1/2 weeks before he died. Satan cant have our gift from God. They say its incurable but we say all things are possible with God! My husband had picked him out and had never had his own dog before we had the dad and he died coming home from a church convention. He would have been 3 that month. We covert prayers! Thank you to all who commit to pray!

Harley So, as I reached my day 5 dare... She figured me out. :P lol, I told her to act surpized from now on, because I wasnt stopping... she wrapped me up in a big hug, and said thank you for loving me. and the love filled texts and verbal communication are heading back in the right direction too! Im proactively engaged in the Love Dare, and with Gods providence will rekindle the original passion and love we had when we said I do, 10 years and 3 kids ago. In our marriage weve faced a lot of difficult in effectively communicating, and the suffered the typical drifting apart that many couples experience. We lost our third child almost 2 years ago, at 6 weeks, and though we both rest in the assurance that they are with Jesus, its still very tough at times for my wife. We both have suffered a few different medical issues, and have been delivered through most and back into health. Through it all so far weve held together with Christ at the center. I know I have things to work on to improve our marriage and to work to lift my wifes concerns above my own. With Gods help I know all things are possible, and can attest to this on so many occasions. I pray that God will soften the heart of my wife and also help us to grow stronger together. Thank you for your prayerful support, I humbly appreciate it.

Doreen Than you all for your prayers. It has been tuff i have my ok days and nites and then i dont. My oldest son is taking it hard, i offered him his dads truck and he wasnt sure he could do it but he has had time to think about it and he does want his dads truck so thats his first step of moving forward. Its going to take time for all of us, although i did realize this hurt is alot different than when my mom died. I work part time a whole foods and they have been wonderful to me, im a cashier and they have been keeping me closer to the customer service desk and the other associates have been great they come and see if im doing ok through out my shift. If i have a episode and i cant stop crying they have no problem sending me home or giving me extra breaks if needed. Would have been married 6 years this June, and just dont know what i am going to do. I have known my husband for more than 15 years, we were co-workers we never did anything out of work until a co-worker got a bunch of us together to go open bowling and we found out we had alot in common and we liked doing alot of the same things and our relationship grew from there. We were looking at mobile homes to buy, he had been after me for 2 years to buy one and i was always saying no cause i was afraid of this exact thing and i wasnt wrong. It hasnt hit me fully but thats because we are making the arangements. We will be bairing him monday march 5th so please keep me and my family and friends in your prayers for we will need them. There is this guy that goes to my church that I would like to get to know. I noticed him a few months ago, he used to sit on the othere side of the sanctuary but for the last 1-2 months hes been sitting in the same area as me. We always make eye contact and smile but hes never really talked to me (seems very shy). So last week I introduced myself to him. I was thinking of sending him a friend request on facebook to see if hes like to be friends and get to know each other but i dont wanna seem like a stalker. Hes friends with someone who is friends with a friend of mine (i know sounds complicated) so his profile is easy to find. I dont know if i should just send him a request with a message or just wait to see if he talks to me at church. Im extremely shy so doing this would definitely take me out of my comfort zone. I asked a friend (whos a non believer) for advice and he said just go for it. But id like to know what believers and the bible say about this......Thank you for your time :) God Bless

playing in my head. The voice of the guy who told me I was gay was the loudest so I called my sis for prayer. After she prayed with me I kept hearing God saying youre beautifully and wonderfully made and how much He loved me.Hi,

Hi Fam, okay this time I need prayer for complete deliverance. Growing up I really hated the way I looked. I used to wear big clothes because I thought they hid my body. So as you can tell my self-esteem was extremely low. Although I had all of those issues and added to that I was shy, I still had friends but I never had guy friends. For a while I felt more comfortable around girls because I knew they didnt care about how I looked. I always felt that I needed to be pretty to be friends with a guy or to have them like me. That didnt stop me from having crushes but in my mind I felt like no one would ever like me. Needless to say I have grown from that tremendously but I still feel "haunted" in a sense by the way I used to feel and the way I used to think. Something that I have carried with me a long time was what this guy told me in HS. He said that I must be a "dyke" (meaning homosexual) bc I didnt have a boyfriend (or something to that nature). I had heard that term before but didnt really think about it until he said it in that way. It really upset me but I started feeling like maybe he was right. Ever since that day Ive lived in fear that maybe hes right. Since then I have tried my bestt to stay away from close girl relationships and I fear being around homosexual women. In my mind I constantly hear that guy and I feel paranoid, like every one thinks Im that way or that I may be. I know this sounds crazy but please pray that God delivers me from these thoughts and from homosexuality if that spirit is in me. Thanks in advance!

eri It was answered!the baby survived birth and her mommy is healing great! my prior prayer requests were for katrinas heart. ironically, that is the only organ she has that is strong: "Please pray for katrina. The doctors just told us that she isnt doing well. She is having what they call multiple organ failure and they are doing everything they can for her. They said they see a very small chance for her.
