Jonathan Earlier today, Ive met up with an old Jewish friend of mine who was a bully in jr high school, but recently apologised... I gave him our 3rd grade class picture as he was getting at me about it for a few years now. I finally got it to him and we started talking a little bit, and one of the things hes mentioned was how he has his own business and it is corrupted and ran by the mafia, and he loves it. Later on in the conversation, he further tells me how happy he was to see me looking good unlike other people we knew that didnt turn out so well. I tell him how good hes looking and how I bet if I ran a mile, he could still catch me... He then explained how he doesnt do violence anymore, and he was sorry again and how he did a lot of bad things... I told him "Hey.. Ive done bad things to" He then said how he has a lot of Skeletons in his closet... That can mean anything. All I could do at the time was encourage him to stay safe. Based off of what you read about him through this prayer request, I ask that you all pray for my friend in any way it comes to your heart. oh by the way, the friends name is Lazar or Lasar.... Gemy Im losing faith. alot of faith. i try to be closer to Him, but idk if its even working. i cant feel His presence. My teacher told me that all i have to do is ask Him to reveal His self to me. i do. for a long time. but nothing happens. another teacher told me to just keep on knocking(Luke 11:5-13). but i have been for years and im getting tired of it. there are alot of mean, wrong, and bad verses in the bible. like this one: "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB). and right God flooded thousands of people because they were wicked? and right he knows everything(past,present, and even future) so if he knew that He would create wicked people, why did He just not do it? and in gen., why didnt He forgive Adam and Eve? please answer my questions:(

Jennifer I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

Lindsay I am a teacher and I absolutely adore my job. I truly feel that my gift to teach is from God and I feel truly blessed. However this is the first time in 5 years that I do not have a teaching position. We have an abundance of teachers in my area and it is very hard to get a job. Please pray that God opens the door to the right teaching position for me! I am able to cover maternity leaves, so my prayer is that God leads me to the right place! Misty My 15 year old son, Damon, just came down with Shingles. The doctor put him on somed pretty hefty pain pills,but he is still in a lot of pain. My son is very active in or churches study groups and helps out with our childens church activities a lot. It is just devistating to him that he has to miss out on these things, but just cant stand the pain enough to go. Please pray for a quick recovery and that the pain goes away when he heals. There is the possibility that this pain can stay with him for years.

DIANE I pray for my Mum that she feels peace, love, and healing from physical and psycological pain. Please give her strengthi and confidence in her quest to train to be a preacher. Would you please pray that my upcoming surgery willl be a complete success as it is very high risk surgery. I also pray that my shoulder will soon be healed and that I will enjoy good health and no pain. I pray for inner confidence, self esteem and to feel valued and loved. L Satan has my husband in such a stranglehold that he cant and wont look for God. PLEASE pray for my husband as he is as close to kicking me out our home as I have ever seen him. He WONT seek Gods will. He can only see the fear that satan has put before him. He is a good man, but is being absolutely spiritually attacked. Rachel Please pray for my health. Ive been having weird symptoms. Ive experienced bouts of dizziness in the past, and still do occasionally. But whats really strange is the goosebumps Ive been getting. Now, goosebumps arent anything unusual but this particular case is. Im getting them for no reason, they are not provoked by an outside source and they are localized to only the upper half of the left side of my body. I looked into it and found out it could be neurological, something to do with what they call "hidden seizures". Thats pretty scary to find out but Im trusting in God. Im going to make a doctors appointment for next week to find out exactly what this is, but in the meantime please pray for me. Also Im going to Disney for Night of Joy on Saturday and Im a little worried about that. If this really is something to do with seizures it might not be such a good idea for me to go on certain rides. Just please pray for protection, healing, and guidance. Thank you.

Topaz Hi, my fellow sisters and brothers in Christ :) I would be very grateful if you could pray for me right now. Recently the Lord challenged me to change my perspective on what Im going to do after I graduate. As a result, I have to switch courses around, obtain a co-op placement in a competitive field, and go against the negativity and pessimism that my guidance counsellor is projecting onto me. This is hard, as I have always been the kind of person to go with the flow, and while I frequently defend others, I rarely stand up for myself. Thanks for any and all prayers. I simply do not think it is as intimate as it could/should be...I want to be completely consumed by the Holy Spirit...I want to love God with my whole heart and my neighbors as myself. my sisters boyfriend was just recently falsely accused of rape and arrested. he has been in county jail since thursday and his bail is absolutely ridiculous. we applied to have his bail reduced and were waiting until tuesday to see if it goes through. I have 2 requests: 1. that the bail will be reduced so that we can get him out and 2. that the truth will be revealed and that he will be proven innocent. he is only 19 years old and hes such a sweet kid and so childlike. our whole family is distraught and we cant understand why this is happening.

Abby Kadance Lynn Marie was born on October 17th, 2011, and today she is a beautiful 7 month old girl, that already crawls, says Momma and Dadda, and is as healthy as a horse! Shes beautiful, and energectic, and keeps us all on our toes. Mommy is doing well, and so is Daddy! Your guys prayers were helpful, and I thank you!!

Hi. :) I dont really have much of a need here. But my Brother and his wife are having a baby, and today they put her on the meds that induce labor. Pray that everything runs smoothly! Thank you. Anyway:: What I really came here to say was, :: God loves us. And its not a conditional love, that will dissapear if we displease him. Its not a love that is a lie. Its not a love then will fade. Ever. God will always-no matter what!- love you! No matter what you do, or if you like it or not. Its a wonderful feeling, knowing that God loves me so so much. And that I am so special in his eyes. It makes me feel like no matter what happens, I will always have God to run to, and to cry to. And to talk to. :) Also, I wanna venture into another thing, without posting again! I am still a teen... So I am boy crazy!! lol. But the message that God has been sending to me over and over again, through... Things I read. And movies I watch, and things that I see...Is that God made me (And all of us!) one special person. That loves us, even before theyve met us, they just dont know it yet. And they are going through their lives to find you, and to live happily ever after with you. Like Prince Charming. My husband has 3 part time jobs that all pay poorly and i have a part -part time job that pays poorly We need two full time good paying jobs so we can stop depending on others to help us with our medical insurance and our house mortgage. We are over 50 and the jobs arent just plentiful out here in Cali! My hubby is a CPA and I was a former teacher with only an AA. so its really tough to find work that is in our chosen fields...Thanks and God is always faithful!!

kim Well, its been a long 8 months. My dad had lung cancer. . . which he was healed from :-) PTL Then we found out he had brain cancer, long story short, he had 3 brain surgeries since Jan 17. The cancer moved now to his bones. He fell in to a coma 3 weeks ago. He could hear us but couldnt respond. My hero. . . my dad passed away about 2 weeks ago. This wasnt the miracle my family and I were hoping and believing for. But we know a miracle has happened. He is with Jesus. . . painfree, and cancer free. He will always be with us in our hearts. I knew what I was doing and I was pretty confident with my answers. The next fourth, I had somewhat of an idea, and I had to just guess on the last fourth. I ran out of time to think things through and there were some that I just had no idea about. Please pray for my parents, sister and brother in law. They are making a 4-5 hour trip today so my dad can go to his liver apt. My sister and brother in law are going with them to give me a break and so my mom isnt driving there and back by herself, (my dad doesnt drive). Im just very worried about them. We moved about a month ago and on the way up to our new place my parents got into a car accident. Thank God they were OK! I just have bad memories of that day...the rude people involved and the unfairness of how my mom was at blame and the damage done to our car (which our insurance wouldnt cover to fix). Please just pray that they all have a safe trip there and back. Thank you. :)

Lela Maybe it would be a good idea to tell her that from a particular month you will only be making half her payment and she has to come up with the other half then pick another month and tell her that month will be the last month you will be contributing to any of her payments she will have to pay the whole amount from that day forward, that way she will see the urgency to get the money she needs to make the payments, and it will not be so much of a full blow as cutting her off totally. In telling her what month in advance, she is able to prepare. Sometimes when people know they will always have someone to fall back on they dont make the effort themselves and they become lazy. I request you continue to pray for guidence from the Holy Spirit and you answer will be revealed. God Bless

My husband and I have been making his daughters house payment for past several months. We have our own home to pay for still. It is a real strain on us. My husband is 64 and getting to retirement age. He will not be able to retire if we have to keep making her payments. Its highly possible that he may get laid off this year. We have asked her to put it on the market, but she refuses, even though we are getting to the point where we will have to either dip into his retirement funds, or put her house payment on the credit card every month. She is a widow and raising her own grandchild by herself. She has no job and they are hard to find. We have asked her to take in a single lady as a boarder, but she refuses that, too. The main reason we make her payment is because we are co-signers. We cannot afford to ruin our credit by allowing the house to foreclose. If we could convince her to sell the house, we would save our credit and could help her get into a nice but cheaper house. This house is huge and she doesnt need that. She says she wants to stay in this house until she dies. She is only 44 years old! We just want God to show us what to do and for Him to tell her the same thing!! Elena Thank you for your prayers! =) I feel much better today. I know some days will still be hard, but I know that I am not alone. Im lucky to have my family, they are so supportive of me, even though Im having a hard time figuring out what to do in life, as far as school and a job. And Im also lucky that both my parents and my sister and brother in law know Christ. Im still getting used to my sister being married and I have been selfish because I want her all to myself. Rachel Spoon I agree with Alyssa. However, I dont think we should ever hate on someone who is gay. Were here to spread Gods love, right? And we were all sinners once, so what makes us better than anyone else? I dont agree with gay marriage, but Ill never hate someone for it.

I am also selling some furniture because i really need the money. The Lord blessed me with a vehicle a few weeks ago, for which I requested and added a praise report under answered prayer, however Im a single mom and have been borrowing money continuously for the past couple of months for gas to get back and forth to school. After bills and food Im able to fill up my tank 1 time per month its frustrating and I need God to provide the buyer soon. My children and I are students and traveling to and from school is expensive, not to mention gas money for appointments when we need and may God help me in moving me to ithe off of what I am given in Jesus name! She was having seizures and they believe her shunt was malfunctioning again, she had the surgery (this is the second time this year) and is still unresponsive. They are saying that it does not look good and she may not make it. Please pray for healing for Amber and peace and comfort for Amanda.

LP The answer was that Steve left sober living and concentrated on getting another trucking job, the difference being that he has a team driver. I think this is better than him isolating by being the only driver and being gone for weeks at a time. Thank you for praying :)

Heather My kids and I became homeless and after having to sleep in our van, the Lord gave me instructions, so we are in another temporary place that I cant afford any longer. Job opportunities have opened up in Texas so my kids and I are praying for provision to get to the fort worth/frisco area so I can work and have a stable home for my. Kids.
