christopher david This is a follow up prayer request for Lorinda Quest...Ive been talking to Lorinda for about 9 months on the phone, chatting online,etc. Weve gotten to know each other as well as we possibly can without actually being together. We have basically fallen for each other and have been praying for the Lord to do His will in our lives. We have both expressed the desire to get married. We have been praying together and asking God for guidance. This is probably the strangest thing God has ever done to either one of us and we are actually enjoying each others company even though we have never even touched. We both desire for our relationship to go in the direction that He wants it to. We have agreed not to put each other before Christ. Jesus Christ comes first no matter what happens. Unfortunately, I am just a poor college student going to Victory University for my ass. degree in Christian Ministries. She is a student in Africa and she can always attend school here if she can get here. Not only is it killing me that shes in such a dangerous country, but also I forsee no way to get her here nor how to take care of her if/when she does.I am a certified chef, but I have chosen to go back to school to serve Christ. Micah Please pray for my family we all seem to be under attack, mostly health/medical issues. Me financial and job wise I am in the final four weeks of school and all this trouble is keeping me from studying and completing assignments. My fam that i am living with are still pushing me out the door even though i have no place to go and no job. As soon as school ends i dont know what will become of me. Yet they still ask for favors and expect me to do things for them even though they still want me out by the 3rd week of May. John Me and my wife made the decision to put our children in a Christian school 2 years ago. We have been doing our best to make ends meet but the tuition leaves only $6.50 left every month after the bills are paid leaving nothing for emergencies or any repair. I ask for prayer for us to have wisdom and understanding to do what is right for our kids and our family and that God will lead us in that direction. I as a dad want the best for my kids but I cant have my decisions take a toll on them. Please pray for us... God be with us all...

Gemy Hello(: Its been a really long time since Ive posted a prayer request here. Probably because I lost my faith. D: Maybe there is a bit more, because Im asking for your help here. But Im just VERY confused right now. Some of my friends told me that it isnt an overnight thing and it will certainly take time. But thats something else: What if there isnt much time left? We all know that the end of the world is pretty near. The fact that Im scared of it make me a lot more scared because my teacher said that if you are scared of the end of age, you are not saved. I want to be saved. I want to believe in God because I love Him. But whats happening is: I want to believe in God because I want to be saved from the End of the World. AND. What scares me most is the fact that I dont think I can accept Jesus as my Lord Savior because Im not sure if he even actually existed. DDD: And I found some (mean) verses in the bible. Like Deut. 22:13-22. Please explain? (: This march, Im having a major operation (Double curve, 50 degrees Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis) and Im hoping it would be successful. What if something bad happens? Im not being negative, Im being realistic. And also my education. Because of my operation, the school is letting me take more work so that I can cope up with the things i will miss. It pressures me and usually triggers my epileptic migraine. The school knows about this, so they are helping me with it, which is really nice of them. But please also pray for my health(: Thank you for reading something this long. Please help me. Christian Singles Valentines Day Encouragement!: :)Valentines day can be a difficult time for many Christian singles that are trying to abstain from sex while waiting for God to send them that special mate. Every year many Christian singles who have fought hard for a long time to finally get their lives right with God drop the ball and blow it on v-day. They have developed a great prayer life and have made all kinds of great Christian single progress towards getting that special mate. Then here comes valentines day! Poof! This is where months and years of christian single progress can be ruined in one day. Seeing all the love stuff around can make you lose your focus and jump on a "temporary love boat" with many others. Many Christian singles dont bounce back too quick or even at all sometimes after the strong conviction and disappointment from their sexual sin kicks in. Some cases have bigger consequences like a unwanted pregnancy or an S.T.D. Oh and to all the ladys, dont fall for the old "I got roses and candy smiles" propaganda you see this month. Flowers and gifts are good but dont look to much into it or feel bad if you dont get anything because a lot of times what you are actually seeing is more like "I only get to hold my mans hand one day/month out the year in public date" day.Also sadly some people celebrating v-day are just "Hey I dont want to marry you but I dont want to be by myself on v-day" temporary, "emotionally risky",dates or sexual hook ups that dont really lead to anything serious. Then there are some couples who dont bond or dont really like each other 11 months out the year and v-day/Feb. is the one day/month they actually get intimate or bond with each other since they first got married. So stay strong Christian single guys and gals! Be happy for those you see enjoying love but never covet because like some people say, "All glitter aint gold." Pray away all those negative single life thoughts! Be patient and happy during valentines day knowing that a mate sent from God is way better than a one day one month temporary hook up!:)

With Love On Your Arms I am really worried about some things in life and being a teen. Im 16 and I dont have a drivers license yet or even have my slip/permit. I dont have a job yet also and my grades werent so good. I have someone in my family who tells me that I need to get my license and a job because I am making people have a hard time. Judiann First of all, please pray for our Nation....we are in very troubling times with unemployment, homelessness, hunger, financial woes, healthcare issues, etc. Secondly, please pray for the continued health and healing of my children (blood relative and not), that they may stay healthy, leaving all major health issues behind, that my grandchildren may not inherit the Marfan Syndrome that has attacked my youngest son, Ian. That Erik, my oldest son, may overcome the issues with his eyesight, that the kerataconis will be healed by Jesus and there will be no need for surgery. Lastly, please pray for guidance and wisdom concerning our impending move back to Tennessee. Praying that my health will be better there, as Ive chronicled. Topaz Hi, my fellow sisters and brothers in Christ :) I would be very grateful if you could pray for me right now. Recently the Lord challenged me to change my perspective on what Im going to do after I graduate. As a result, I have to switch courses around, obtain a co-op placement in a competitive field, and go against the negativity and pessimism that my guidance counsellor is projecting onto me. This is hard, as I have always been the kind of person to go with the flow, and while I frequently defend others, I rarely stand up for myself. Thanks for any and all prayers. Elena Thank you sooo much for your prayers guys! This one was a long time ago! It was weird reading this prayer request I had put up, because I feel like I have grown in so many ways. And I have! I dont even know why I was so stressed out, lol. I ended up dropping the class, which was the best thing for me. As far as college, it didnt work out. Im still figuring things out. I have looked into another college or university I should say. It seems to be more of a fit for me. Semester starts August of this year, pray that it all works out! Theres a class I am taking at my church, Basic Theology. I will be over 200 hundred pages behind in the book and I am so overwhelmed. I am considering dropping it, but I really dislike having to do that. I have quite a bit on my mind, pray that I can just get it together and be motivated. If Im meant to drop it, I pray that the Lord would reveal that to me. And give me peace if I do. If not, then I have to really try hard to catch up! Also if you could pray about my applying for scholarships. Theres so many and I hope the ones I will be applying for are legit. Im trying to find money for me to go to Calvary Chapel Bible College, I plan on applying again for the fall 2012 semester. It is an unaccredited college and so there is no financial aid, because it is not government supported. I also cant get a student loan for the same reason. If I could just go for one semester, Id feel so blessed! Its actually not that much compared to most bible colleges, $3250 and a little extra for laundry and myself. I will be living on campus and my books, room and board will all be covered in the tuition. Im trying to look for the right scholarships. Ive considered applying for poetry scholarships, but Im a little nervous about putting my writing out there. And Im such a perfectionist that it might take me forever just to put one together or fix one of my old writings. I just pray that the Lord will motivate me, uplift me and guide my path. And bring me out of whatever it is that has been bringing me down lately. Thanks for the prayers. =)

Courtney I can see right now that you have a lot to face. But you know who already knows whats going on in your life and what should happen and how its planned out? Our Father. haha. Girl, first off, I just want to say YOU ARE AMAZINGGGG!!! You are SO SMART and TALENTED in so many ways hunn! You have a poetic soul and thats hard to find these days. You have a gift that the Lord blessed you with and baby, dont be afraid to use it. TestedAndTried no...my prayer for peace between my son and husband never happened...my husband and i actually separated as he would never accept my son..come to find out, my son has become very ill and needs medical attention the insurance will not pay for..we had to drop my daughter out of the christian school and put her into a public school..so far, nothing is easy and my body grows extremely fatigued with the working of 3 jobs for almost 3 years now...i grow more weary than you can imagine, especially not being able to come up with the $8,000.00 that is needed for my sons medical procedure that our insurance will not approve to pay for...need guidance...

Glorisel Hey everyone! I just wanted to thank you all for praying! Since posting this, God has been ministering to my heart every day... Cant say that everything is perfect; some things are getting better (like I just did interviews at three med schools praise God and thank Him for His grace... now I just have to wait and see where he leads me) and some things are getting worse (my friends dad died and hes gotten worse; hes gotten into pills and is talking about going to work in the streets; frankly, im remaining in prayer for him but im breaking up that friendship because he doesnt want help... hes just devastated but he doesnt want change right now... so im just praying for him)... But my heart has changed. Now, I can say I have joy again... And though every now and then Im troubled by the situations surrounding me Im feeling God and His peace more than ever and Hes been letting me know "NOTHING WILL EVER SEPARATE YOU FROM MY LOVE"... Somehow, in every song, in every Scripture, in every sermon that keeps coming up... Gods love... GODS LOVE IS SUSTAINING ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY... So, if you guys can keep me and my fam and my friends in prayers Ill thank you again, know that God is at work. GOD IS NEAR AND HEARING. PRAISE HIM! Im sorry that its so long but Im desperate... The past 7 months have been very hard. I had to drop out of med school in June due to my grades (I am currently trying again to enter med school or study nursing because my passion and purpose is in serving people through medical services so I can help their physical needs and introduce them to God in the process). In June also my grandma entered the intensive care unit and was on and off the hospital which was a grueling process for us and her and she went with the Lord in August so this is our first Christmas without her and its been so hard... On September I came to know that I have a chronic heart thing going on and am currently on meds but so far theyve upped my dosis 4 times and it isnt working; the other option is an operation. On November I got very sick and had to go the hospital due to dehydration and am currently under studies to see if I have another chronic condition of the gastrointestinal tract. Also on November my best friend and the guy I love seemed to be getting more depressed, talked about suicide (he has already tried it twice by now) and said he was getting marry to a girl after less than two months of knowing her only to dump her and stop living with her last Tuesday and start living with another girl on Friday whom he says is the one. He (my friend) is far from God and I feel a lot of confusion in his mind and spirit but he says he feels good about what hes doing; but I learned two days ago that he started doing drugs again with the girl hes living with so I dont get how this girl could be from God like he says when they are nit living pleasing God or even looking for Him. We talked (and had a fight while he was on drugs) and I told him that we should stop talking because it isnt right for me to be talking with a guy I love while he is living with a girl. We have been best friends for ten years; and Ive helped him through a lot of rough spots so Im going to miss him a lot and a part of me feels this isnt fair and more so Im worried about his soul because he doesnt seem to see what hes doing wrong. On top of all this, the family that was left in Puerto Rico with me moved to the states in August so I feel alone and my two best friends who are Christians are going through their own stuff (one was depressed and the other one is studying in med school) so theyre too busy to talk when I need it. Im also looking for a job since October, but to no avail. I write to ask for prayer for all my friends; specially Gabriel (hes the guy who isnt in a relationship with God yet) for his eyes to be opened to Gods truth and that he will receive conviction in his spirit about what Gods will truly is. I want him to be saved. I want to pray for my family as we pass through our first Christmas without grandma; specially my grandpa (they had been married for 54 yrs) and my mom and aunt and uncle (also pray for his salvation cuz hes the only member of the fam who isnt saved yet). Please pray for me; my health, me finding a job to help out my family and be able to take care of myself better, my emotions because its a lot and I have Gods joy but some days are better anf some days are just horrible, my carrer and most of all that God will give me direction and strength to do His will wtv it may mean to sacrifice; even 10 yrs friendship or being healthy or the dream of being a doctor. Pray anything that God puts in your heart for my life and my familys and friend; Im a vessel in Gods hands just desiring to please Him and to do His will. Thank you very much! Im sorry that its so long but Im desperate... The past 7 months have been very hard. I had to drop out of med school in June due to my grades (I am currently trying again to enter med school or study nursing because my passion and purpose is in serving people through medical services so I can help their physical needs and introduce them to God in the process). In June also my grandma entered the intensive care unit and was on and off the hospital which was a grueling process for us and her and she went with the Lord in August so this is our first Christmas without her and its been so hard... On September I came to know that I have a chronic heart thing going on and am currently on meds but so far theyve upped my dosis 4 times and it isnt working; the other option is an operation. On November I got very sick and had to go the hospital due to dehydration and am currently under studies to see if I have another chronic condition of the gastrointestinal tract. Also on November my best friend and the guy I love seemed to be getting more depressed, talked about suicide (he has already tried it twice by now) and said he was getting marry to a girl after less than two months of knowing her only to dump her and stop living with her last Tuesday and start living with another girl on Friday whom he says is the one. The say Im not pulling my weight and criticise the work I do. I teach English and literacy and as its a mainly boys school I have had lots of trouble raising standards but I have - greatly. Instead of being praised for this, I am ignored and not included in the little clique of teachers who drink together. The last straw has come when I have put in a grievance procedure against a member of staff who kept removing my posts from the school website with no explanation. This person is a pagan and the first thing she ever said to me is There is no God, despite the fact she knew I was a Christian. The management listen to everyone but me and I have no voice in this place. There are many discrepancies in this school and I am worried about the students. I almost got another job recently. Candice I know its hard to "Let go and let God" but what you have to remember is that he already knows what will happen and why! I know how hard it is to do things in ways other than youre own, but when it comes to God, He created trust so that we can cast our worries on him and TRUST He can take care of them :)

Alison Well the time has finally come when I am moving out next week! God has definitely been present this semester giving me patience, love and grace for my roommates that was from Him. Stefanie Thanks for everyone that committed to pray. The benefit concert my friend hosted was a success. Things didnt run as smoothly as we would have hoped and we could have had more people come out but in the end we raised around $1000 to go towards the Children In the Son organization!

He wants to be able to have the courses he takes accredited, which costs more per term. He already has scholarship and donation money, but it is just not enough to be able to pay the extra fee. I have been praying that God will provide for him in some way but its getting closer and closer to where hell have to make the decision to not receive ministry credits for the courses. Kevin Father, keep Jessica. Although spasms cause these things but may we be decisive that The Lord is our strength. Moses had spasms too escorting 100,000 complaintants through a desert and yet. God kept him. He complained himself but still God kept him. My father works in mysterious ways. Pray His will be done. His ways are higher than our ways and His thought higher as well.

Hummm...Getting nervous boys school started (expensive), car registrations and smog due this month too. Oh my found a big hole under my boys bathroom vanity lol. My son and I put something over it for now.I still have my campaign on Indiego go- Bay Area Single Mom needs help! No contributions there either yet.I have school costs,and need a roof hopefully by the winter.I was praying for a miracle there. I did get an invite to the honor society from my college due to my GPA...whoo hoo top 15% of my class. That was great news and looks great on my resume (I hope :^) Thanks to you all for my prayers. I know Gods listening. I am trying to remain upright and be optimistic and content where I am but its stressful sometimes and takes me off school focus.

I relocated to the Bay Area after my divorce due to the abuse inflicted to my adopted foster sons by my ex husband.I was shocked!!!!I packed up and moved nearly single handly it has been HARD! God has shown Himself over and over again. My boys have some special needs. We have settled in and there has been many challages stolen vehicle, housing, home repairs (bad floors/need a roof), numerous car repairs(only good local), in 1.5 years only have managed to get an on call job for 32.5 months (ouh, but I was blessed with it). I volunteer at church weekly but wanted something else progressive for my family. I went back to school and I am doing well. The debt scares me , as I already felt I was sinking. I havent many friends yet, and no really cloase one {:^( I dont drink, smoke, swear so my market is slight ha ha ha. I am scared of the life debt, and terrified of the school debt that has already began to accumulate . I am pretty self sufficient so it is quite humbling. I have decided to pray and also sign up for an Indiego go campaighn as a Bay area single mom that needs help! and I am praying I can raise some funds to cover my school tuition.. God knows what I need and he is aware of the campaign. Please pray about that, and a job. Peace with school the life stress derails me off focus for school studies. My son 13 has glucoma, cranio facial, and some anxiety/sensory issues. My 11 year old sensorty issues as well. They have overcome sooooo much and are soaring..family goal.Soaring is the best.
