JPWN I dont drink, cuss, smoke, do drugs, etc. Im definitely in the minority. I feel alone and just want to meet others like me. It makes me really depressed and unmotivated. Starfire I am secretary and host association for design event. Tonight I have an event except that the relationship between the members in the catastrophic moment. Zach I am about 6 months in my walk with The Lord and am very blessed to do so! I need guidance, I am trying to find why I made the decision to move 3 hours from the church that my path started in or why I am here! I do intend to move back after my transfer goes thru but now I feel there is a reason I got excepted to this branch... The second part is I had a dark past and treated the girl who I love without the love she deserved! Paul I, almost three months ago, lost the love of my life to infidelity. I know that it was most likely all my fault because I had been depressed from not seeing her, not being able to find a full time teaching position, and other difficulties. The pain from her lying, leaving my life, and staying with the other man has devastated me. I am left with nothing, forced to slink home in failure. I know I must be the worst person alive to warrant this treatment from others.I feel absolutely hopeless. I have nothing else to give, I am absolutely alone, and on the edge of killing myself. If I could be so selfish as to ask for a few things. First, if it is possible, please restore my relationship with her. If that is impossible then please bless her, and take care of her. Along with that please grant me the strength to forgive myself for pushing her to cheat, and find friends and (if I deserve it, which I most likely do not) maybe another lover. Last week my fiancee left me and I dont really blame her. Mariah Heres some BIG ones... but nothing is too big for Jesus right? 2 things.... First off, my boyfriends dad, Chris(47, ex marine), was diagnosed with cancer (Leukemia) in January and has been on the long, tough road to recovery. The last week has been really REALLY hard for their family...Hes been hard core throwing up, zombi like, barely being able to walk... ect. and 100 opposite of the norm for him. Id just love as much prayer as possible for them! They are an awesome family of God and I just love to lift them up. ALSO, secondly... Theres this precious little boy, Chase(13) who is the sweetest thing to walk the earth.... Nathan I found out the other day that one of the guys that I know has turned atheist and said that he has lost all belief in that God thing completely a few weeks ago. And last year was when he got saved and he was really on fire for God and everyone could see a real change in him. But when I found out about him going to atheist and asked him why he said that he was tired of hypocrite Christians . Of them saying that Christians shouldnt go drink, have premarital sex, and living like the world but him knowing that they went out on the weekends and did the same things that they condemned. Pray that he would give his life back over to God and be on fire as much as when he first started. I invited him to a youth rally in a few weeks but he hasnt responded, pray that he would give it a chance because I believe that he would experience another encounter with Christ .

SkaterGirl Please pray for one of my parents. They are going through a personal crisis and have just started counseling (Praise God!!!). They are going to need all the help they can get, as it is a very big problem. This has put an enourmous strain on the family as well. Recently, he has changed. He has taken an interest in God, my college work (I am going to Christian Leadership University) and has been asking questions. He went to Easter Sunday service with me. Since then a lot has changed. He says he can see the light through me and that he experiences the Holy Spirit high. I am unsure if God is working on his heart and if he is sincere but he said while my Christ siblings, I and Corry were driving around that he knew the words to the worship music we were playing yet he had NEVER heard those songs before. It makes me excited yet cautious. I am unsure if it is really God working on his heart or if he is saying and doing these things to keep me. Please pray that Corry will come to Christ. Jacob My prayer has been answered in a couple of ways. 1)Since then I have received an opportunity to serve God in New York over the summer and learn how to be a servant at North Shore Baptist church. 2) The importance of fasting and prayer for reconciling my relationship with Jesus and a fresh new mind. SkaterGirl Thank you so much for your prayers. I think they worked! Within the week, we started to received outside help, and have been referred to a counselor who can help one of us. I was really amazed! This is a great relief. It will take awhile to sink in and start to make a difference since this situation has been going on for a year or more. That seems to show how much more the prayer helped, since I wasnt expecting a change so soon. However, my sister and I are still under strain as we are still living at home and have responsibilities and are dealing with this daily issue. I have posted another prayer about that. God is good!!! Praise Him!

The combo of personal problems, job changes (starting/quitting/learning new), moves, and extended family issues have taken their toll and created stress that seems to never end. It is easy to get discouraged, even though we know and can see that the Lord is working in our lives, and should be grateful. Its just a lot to handle, and sometimes its easy to feel alone like there is no one to turn to who isnt going through their own huge life change. Its hard to cope day to day. It has been a time of change and growth but that comes with feelings of depression and overwhelm sometimes. Thank you!

Cassandra Aaron is still choosing to be distant. He has cut himself off completely from all of our friends and only hangs with one mutual friend who is very much so living in the world. Aaron has found 2 godly mentors, which is a praise. I am still praying hard that he listens to Gods voice and stops running from love and that his heart is soften. Thanks for the continual prayers for him and I.

TestedAndTried no...my prayer for peace between my son and husband never happened...my husband and i actually separated as he would never accept my son..come to find out, my son has become very ill and needs medical attention the insurance will not pay for..we had to drop my daughter out of the christian school and put her into a public school..so far, nothing is easy and my body grows extremely fatigued with the working of 3 jobs for almost 3 years now...i grow more weary than you can imagine, especially not being able to come up with the $8,000.00 that is needed for my sons medical procedure that our insurance will not approve to pay for...need guidance...

Norge We have found meds that can reverse the problems my Girl Friend has been experiencing. But she is struggling with doctors that have diagnosed her wrong and are administering medication that is not what she is suffering from. It is making her really sick and they are considering upping her dosage or hospitalizing her and administering shock treatment. All of which will do nothing but fry her because she has Fibromyalgia and is not Phycotic. So still need pray and an intervention in a big way or these doctors are going to destroy a perfectly healthy women.

Norge I pray that the Lord embraces her life, opens up inroads to her torment and pain and shows her what encapsolating these emotions is doing to her. I also pray that she gets a handle on any medical issues that could be distracting her from realizing her true life and to giver her strength to change her life to feel better.

Treena Lucy, Please know that God will send the right man for you and trust in his judgement. I am seperated now from my husband of 13 years who was abusive and violent and when I was preparing for my wedding in 1998 I did not heed Gods warnings and I should have not married him, but I did and God knew better for me as I now know. resist the temptation of lust and stay strong in your conviction to find the right man for you as God will show you at the right time.

Mariah Thank you so much, all, for praying for me. My prayers have been answered, greatly. I went to church and the pastors wife prayed for me in so many ways. I have found my spiritual life to have been "quickened." I was told to break up with my boyfriend, my parents are accepting my beliefs (though they still wont believe). Thank you, ever so much. Glorisel Hey everyone! I just wanted to thank you all for praying! Since posting this, God has been ministering to my heart every day... Cant say that everything is perfect; some things are getting better (like I just did interviews at three med schools praise God and thank Him for His grace... now I just have to wait and see where he leads me) and some things are getting worse (my friends dad died and hes gotten worse; hes gotten into pills and is talking about going to work in the streets; frankly, im remaining in prayer for him but im breaking up that friendship because he doesnt want help... hes just devastated but he doesnt want change right now... so im just praying for him)... But my heart has changed. Now, I can say I have joy again... And though every now and then Im troubled by the situations surrounding me Im feeling God and His peace more than ever and Hes been letting me know "NOTHING WILL EVER SEPARATE YOU FROM MY LOVE"... Somehow, in every song, in every Scripture, in every sermon that keeps coming up... Gods love... GODS LOVE IS SUSTAINING ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY... So, if you guys can keep me and my fam and my friends in prayers Ill thank you again, know that God is at work. GOD IS NEAR AND HEARING. PRAISE HIM! Im sorry that its so long but Im desperate... The past 7 months have been very hard. I had to drop out of med school in June due to my grades (I am currently trying again to enter med school or study nursing because my passion and purpose is in serving people through medical services so I can help their physical needs and introduce them to God in the process). In June also my grandma entered the intensive care unit and was on and off the hospital which was a grueling process for us and her and she went with the Lord in August so this is our first Christmas without her and its been so hard... On September I came to know that I have a chronic heart thing going on and am currently on meds but so far theyve upped my dosis 4 times and it isnt working; the other option is an operation. On November I got very sick and had to go the hospital due to dehydration and am currently under studies to see if I have another chronic condition of the gastrointestinal tract. Also on November my best friend and the guy I love seemed to be getting more depressed, talked about suicide (he has already tried it twice by now) and said he was getting marry to a girl after less than two months of knowing her only to dump her and stop living with her last Tuesday and start living with another girl on Friday whom he says is the one. He (my friend) is far from God and I feel a lot of confusion in his mind and spirit but he says he feels good about what hes doing; but I learned two days ago that he started doing drugs again with the girl hes living with so I dont get how this girl could be from God like he says when they are nit living pleasing God or even looking for Him. We talked (and had a fight while he was on drugs) and I told him that we should stop talking because it isnt right for me to be talking with a guy I love while he is living with a girl. We have been best friends for ten years; and Ive helped him through a lot of rough spots so Im going to miss him a lot and a part of me feels this isnt fair and more so Im worried about his soul because he doesnt seem to see what hes doing wrong. On top of all this, the family that was left in Puerto Rico with me moved to the states in August so I feel alone and my two best friends who are Christians are going through their own stuff (one was depressed and the other one is studying in med school) so theyre too busy to talk when I need it. Im also looking for a job since October, but to no avail. I write to ask for prayer for all my friends; specially Gabriel (hes the guy who isnt in a relationship with God yet) for his eyes to be opened to Gods truth and that he will receive conviction in his spirit about what Gods will truly is. I want him to be saved. I want to pray for my family as we pass through our first Christmas without grandma; specially my grandpa (they had been married for 54 yrs) and my mom and aunt and uncle (also pray for his salvation cuz hes the only member of the fam who isnt saved yet). Please pray for me; my health, me finding a job to help out my family and be able to take care of myself better, my emotions because its a lot and I have Gods joy but some days are better anf some days are just horrible, my carrer and most of all that God will give me direction and strength to do His will wtv it may mean to sacrifice; even 10 yrs friendship or being healthy or the dream of being a doctor. Pray anything that God puts in your heart for my life and my familys and friend; Im a vessel in Gods hands just desiring to please Him and to do His will. Thank you very much! Jonathan Well guys... Im very thankful for all of your prayers... Its been a crazy 2 years since we had broken up... I feel that in a way Ive been in a lot of denial that I was over her... I guess its because I seriously thought she was the one and that was IT.... God truly has been merciful with me... I lived through so much more stress than this break up during that time period. In the process, Ive had crazy problems with both of my parents. each parent was a different problem. My sister around that time got separated from her husband and it was depressing for her and till this day, she is taking matters in the wrong route. I tried harder than ever to just get a job and it just was not happening, even till this day... I had no one to run to. There wasnt ANYONE to talk to because no one was in accord with me. Everyone was just giving me that vibe that theyd rather pray against what I was needing them to pray FOR... I needed someone that I can touch and agree with. I needed someone that I could unite and be in One Accord with and I just kept getting denied. I tried to gain my self-esteem back, and I lost it all over again from joining Haitian Interdenominational Mass Choir: Joshua Generation, because I felt like I just got dragged around another "Game" and Im tired of that being all it is with all of these local independent ministries in Brooklyn. Ive dated about 3 women since then, and Im so glad that is over with. Why do I feel God has answered my Prayer? Am I truly over Melinda? Well, The last I spoke to her, I asked if she was ok in terms of preparations to Hurricane Sandys upcoming approach. When ever I see her on my newsfeed, Im in immediate alert. There was a picture I posted with a beautiful female friend of mine to which she expressed hidden jealousy somehow and I was sooo happy to see that. But what has me feeling like I know for sure that I need to express that God has answered my prayer would have to be taken from a quote from the second Transformers movie where Optimus Prime tells Sam "Fate rarely comes at a time of our choosing" I quote that line because Ive just entered a serious transition in my life that I dont think Im 100 percent ready for but I need to get in on that asap. This Transition, should I cease it and grasp on to it and hold it down, I am more than willing to take this past with Melinda, understand it, accept it, and LET IT GO, along with the fact that I can not get what I had with her back, nor should I say yes to the unlikely day that Im offered it back. With that being said, I ask that you all say one final prayer for me, and for Melinda. Both us as individuals, and for our relationship. Thank you so much. God bless you all, and stay strong.

I go through emotional pain, and I pray for her, being that I dont get to see her anymore, or never know what shes doing. I truly feel that she is making bad decisions in her life, that she doesnt feel are bad. My heart hurts for her, so I also want my prayer warriors to pray for her individually, and myself individually as well as I am going through this emotionally difficult time. This has all started in the very begining of December, and still God has been very merciful till this day, the morning of March 6th 2011.
I ask that you pray for my relationship with my past girlfriend Melinda. During the aftermath of our unfortunate turn around, I acted in a very insecure way, not just to her, but to her family. Candice I know its hard to "Let go and let God" but what you have to remember is that he already knows what will happen and why! I know how hard it is to do things in ways other than youre own, but when it comes to God, He created trust so that we can cast our worries on him and TRUST He can take care of them :)

Sarah Wow, I should have updated this long ago! Anyway, thank you all very much for your prayers. I was finally able to let go this past April, after a heart-to-heart talk with both a close friend and my aunt, and I am so thankful that I have been able to move past him. My heart still aches, knowing how desperately he needs the Lord, but I am so thankful that I am out of that relationship and relearning how to love God fully.

Tonya Update:Went to thyroid specialist and they found a growth on the Thyroid gland. We have to follow up in 6 months. If it has not gotten smaller or completely gone they will do a biopsy to rule out cancer. Keep on praying please for both situations!!

I pray our 18 year old son keeps the Lord close to him and does not fall into the ways of the world. I pray that his thyroid issue gets figured out soon and that he is able to restore his health. I pray he has strength and peace. Also his girlfriend is not a believer in Christ. She believes there is a higher power but not sure it is Jesus. She does get frustrated at times when we talk about it or our son refers to to Jesus. I pray she opens her heart and sees Jesus is our Savior. I pray both of them get the desire and knowledge to follow the Lord. They have a very good relationship however our son cannot possibly fill her heart all the time.

Joseph Its not over yet, however, she called me to tell me that she went to church Wednesday night, which is an answer to prayer and also the "person of bad influence" has been separated from her, possible for a long, long time. thank you to all who have taken time in your life to lift her up in prayer. Our God is an awesome God.
