I think its just outright stuid, sorry, but theres no proof of global warming. Past few years weve been getting early winters that last longer. Should be the other way around right?

You are right Scott but the earths temperature has been fluctuating like this since God created the earth thousands and thousands of years ago. Do you know the claims of Al Gore and what he explains Global Warming is?

Well, Scotty, come up to Canada! In the past few years the winters have been breaking records set in the 1800s--record lows. It has been FRIGID!!!!!!!!! Like, I am not kidding. We havent had as much snow, but if it makes sense its too COLD for snow!!!! =)Doesnt make sense, but there is some reason why extreme cold prevents excess snow (which is why the Arctic isnt buried in fifty feet of snow). Im not good at science. =D
Yes, the weather has been fluctuating, but it does that. It did it years ago as well (apparently); like, 1800s. Its just something the earth goes through.
At any rate, I dont want to start a fight. We are all entitled to our own opinions, and we all have to respect other opinions. =)

sorry, ill reword what im saying. i just felt a lot of bad vibes when i got on this thread. a lot of the people on the thread are talking about liberals like theyre idiots who will eat up whatever Al Gore and Obama tell them. if someone thinks liberals dont know what theyre talking about or are lying, great! but that doesnt mean one should mock them on a public forum. i happen to be liberal, so its extremely offensive for me to read.
but i agree: we all just need to respect each other. i try and watch what i say, so id appreciate it if everyone else did the same. and im not sayiong this in a hostile tone because im not being confrontational at all. im just expressing how i feel about this

Well its not like we are talking bad or saying lies or anything about Obama or Gore, whatever was said is true and its just discussion, if you take offense to this Im sure it was not intentional at anyone who is liberal. If you support Obama thats fine its your choice but as a supporter of him and his recent decisions you should not take offense we are not talking about you. Truth is the overwhelming christian community is very upset with Obama and his poor choices so you should not take offense due to the fact it has nothing to do with you personally.

I think the global warming threat is real, but the government has used it for their own good. As for smart cars and the like I dont think it is enough. We need to be open minded, if we are hurting our only home we need to change. It is the right thing, and the smallest step helps. I hate smart cars though, I think they are really stupid. You know what I saw the other day? A CONVERTABLE smartcar! Ahhhhh!! lol.

i heard it came from a college students paper that he made up, plus if it were true, it would violate gods promise that he would never flood the whole earth again.
