@h, everyone is on such a spiritual high at this camp, and satan absolutely HATES what we're doing there. We're constantly having spiritual battles. There are SO MANY kids who become Christians at the camp that I work at!!! Plus, this camp gives me and everyone who works there the tools we need to go out into the world. It really helps. I learn so much while I'm there, and I get to serve. I also have made so many solid friends there who I can go to with anything. During the summer, I love working at this camp, but once I go back to school, I'm making a lot of changes from last year to be the biggest light for Jesus as I possibly can!
well duh sumer camp :p ahhaa but the best with YWAM (youth with a mission) i just came back from two weaks las friday :p and then next weak i'll continue working(daycare) and then school stars! :/
Here in michigan there is this bug that starts to rattle In Late july early august, and its a loud annoying rattle you hear everywhere and when we were kids we hates that sound cause we knew summer was almost over and school was about to start.
It been a great summer packed with horse riding, gardening and lizard catching . Which happens to be my newest hobby and I finally figured out the trick to it :)oh and some fishing and boating.
Oh boy...summer camp! :D Lead a child to Christ, get to teach kids about Jesus every day, got a bunch of bruises from getting hit with a zipline, rode in a car with no windshield and no roof with 16 people (wooo!), got the best tan of my life, had an ice cream fight, did a waltz, spin and fell down, saw God's awesome power in my life, spoke in tongues again, met and connected with the Refined Undignified crew, decided that I want to go to Caronport High School for grade 12 and then Briercrest for university, learned how to dance and do a hand stand, learning how to use the armour of God every day. I. Love. Summer.
Wow Ariel sounds like a fun filled summer im jealous, I wish in my teen years my summers was spent like that, instead I slept all day and ran the streets at night what a waste lol
It is so great, next week I'm counselling intermediates for the first time, so nervous, but excited!! It's been a crazy summer! BUT now you can live your life for God and have crazy adventures too :D It's weird, cuz I get maybe 7 or 8 hours of sleep during the week and work 16-18 hour days (on support staff) or 24 hours days (counselling) and I'm way more awake during the week than when I come home on the weekend and get 12 hours of sleep
