I know most of you are fairly young but I was just wondering what some of you do for work? What do you do for a living or where are you working temporarily? Setting the boxing gloves aside for a minute and get to know each other a little better!
Actually right now I am a student and currently on my On Job Training on a call center here in the Philippines. Its bit hard for me since that it is my first job and I dont have any expirence with this field... but with God by my side I know I can do it... besides He wont put me here if I Cant make it... I Know its for me to learn something... To God be all the Glory!!! (^ ^)
Whhhooooa! I dont think I ever heard someone say I cant wait to work! You say that now just wait til you have bills and been working for years! Lol Im messing wit ya!
i cant work (technically i could work at ild rivers, but the hours are long and the pay is lousy) :D and even if i could id have to take a scooter to get there or something.
I work part-time at a market garden... The hours are flexible, but thats one of the few pros. It can be backbreaking work. =S
In the fall, I work full-time at my neighbours apple orchard. Frankly, its a lot more fun! =P
I will also be taking an online course in Personal Training this winter. And basically, thats all I know for now! (And yes, we do need to put our boxing gloves aside--or only use them on a boxing bag...or a tree! ;P)
Aww I happen to like trees Sarah! They give us oxygen, punch a bear instead! Lol. Do you want to be a personal trainer? Or do you know what certification you want to get? I started with getting my A.C.E cert first.
There are different certifications for personal training you can get. Some are harder and respected than other and some go more into depth in some categories. Typically people achieve their A.C.E cert first it seems to be the easiest. Another popular one is the N.A.S.M I would look into them and pick one then go from there as far as schooling.
Oh no... Where is it, Ivan??? =P Yeah...I love it!!!
@ PHBOI, Is it the same in Canada and the USA?
And...I think the course I am looking at tells you the basics of everything, and then tells you how to get to the next level. Not totally sure. Im doing the Certified Personal Trainer course with the Pennsylvania State University, if that helps any... (But its through a Canadian branch)
Usually what a college will sometimes do is teach you all the basics and gear you towards one of the certifications, like in the course descriptions it might say these courses are intended to prepare you to take the A.C.E certification test or whatever certification.
Im going to Virginia in 2 weeks and will be going to the store there in Virginia beach! I cant wait! Oh and Jake word on the street you have a part time job at night slaying vampires? Lol
