sometimes i just feel like giving up ive tried everything god knows my heart and ima a good christain i dont sin or anything and its like hes not responding back and idk what else i can do i pray and everything i want a man of god and a job thats it im not tryign to be greedy or nothing its just idk i pray and if i did have a job i would build up the kingdom with it

A lot of people feel God is not hearing them but I assure you God hears every prayer! Pray for patience, dont give up hope! Sometimes we go through trials and God will see how we act in these hard times and the hard times u can learn a great deal! God never put anyone on earth to forget about them! Read the promises of the bible that God made to us.

well i just wanted to say that in general God is not in the business of giving us what we deserve. And as far as prayer is concerned...im telling you faith can not be unanswered! God knows your heart! Your right....yet he does things on his own timing. our job is to wait on him...not like being idle type of waiting. But Isaiah 40:30-31 says (New King James Version)
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint
and meditate on Jeremiah 29:11

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
And also remember God is not a man that he should lie..so you may expect him to answer your prayer one way and he does it another way. And one thing as christians we need to keep in mind is that even if we never get anything we can spend all of eternity praise him for what he did on calvery!

and if i could say something, i been at that place where you are...where it seems like my prayers arent even getting pass the walls but i know God hears...Psalms 94:9 says He who planted the ear, does he not hear? so when we pray since were in Christ God hears every single prayer we pray...we have to remember that were in the Son and the Son is in the Father so God knows what were prayer before we do...just true and wait on the LORD He has let you go now? and never will hold on to His promises and remain faithful to Him.....

I love that verse from Isaiah. It reminds me that I need to memorize scripture so that when the enemy comes to deceive me through doubt, fear, or pride, I will have Gods word hidden in my heart and mind and soul. Memorization of verses is sometimes forgotten as we walk with the Lord. I know that sometimes we dont hear God, but we must not base our faith on our feelings alone. Because our feelings will let us down. While God will never let us down. You can choose to have joy in every circumstance! Read the book of Philippians. It talks about looking for joy and finding joy no matter how bad your circumstances are. Its a choice and I hope that you will continue to persevere. Ive been reading through the book of James, and it talks about persevering. Just when you wanna give up, you cant give up if the truth is in you. Gods Word always brings comfort even if we dont feel like hes there at the moment.
James 1:2-8 CONSIDER IT PURE JOY, MY BROTHERS, WHENEVER YOU FACE VARIOUS TRIALS OF MANY KINDS, BECAUSE YOU KNOW THAT THE TESTING OF YOUR FAITH DEVELOPS PERSEVERANCE. But LMTTC girrrrrrrl you betta switch that up lol. Remember the Lord ~died~ so you can avoid the penalty of sin, so hes already done more than enough for all of us. Doubt only arises because our flesh. I heard a good quote, Sin will keep us from the Word, but the Word will keep us from sin. From what Ive read from you, you seem to be a wonderful woman of God, who is jus a lil stumbly on worldly issues lol. But were all human, errored since birth. Think about it like this, the Lord feeds the birds in the air right? How much more important to him are you compared to the birds, the Lord will provide.
If I were there Id smack ya one! :) Not having many Christian friends out there definitely has to be rough, thank God I found a group of brothers and sisters I chill with regularly. But if you ever need any help, motivation, or prayer hit me up im here for ya sis ;) we all are. Dont fall into deception, its easy, ask Satan. Hes the most decieved being in existance. TO this day he believes he can beat GOD! Stay strong sis, and I will definitely pray for ya ;)

Think back to Luke 9:57-60
And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.
That sounds kind of mean right lol, let the dead bury their dead; (but thats his dad!) Jesus was letting him know unsaved people can handle uneternal matters. Jesus was telling him out of love how to be for him at that time.

but the way i recieved that verse about foxes have holes....yadda yadda. Was that Jesus was becoming really popular. And this dude was saying how he was willing to follow Jesus. Thats why jesus said that..And he told him not to burry his father. To show how much it cost to be a disciple of jesus christ. You must love God before all things even your family
