I happen to do search on one of my favorite televangelists on youtube(to watch shows ive missed) and a bunch of news reports and other commentaries(Larry King, etc..) were slamming not only her but other televangelists I enjoy watching. Some interesting facts surfaced regarding how much donated money they spend on themselves, now I have some doubts about their true intentions, but Im willing to do some more research and give em the benefit of the doubt...any comments anyone?

Heres an article about Joyce Meyer. It is certainly disconcerting.

Honestly do more research, Im big on politics I am very familar with tactics that larry king and other use also with stations like cnn etc... they can really twist the truth on things, sometimes they flat out lie in reports and give misleading information. I learned not to trust what I hear on the news also with the associated press, and look up my own info and statistics.

Do her teachings inspire people to become a better "person"?
I have always wondered what would happen if Bin Laden was on tape saying "Jesus died for us" would people all of a sudden not believe a TRUE statement because of the source? (just thinking out loud)

well I try not to believe everything i hear
Here is a bible scripture I believe greatly applys to this situation:
1 Thessalonians 5:19-22 (New International Version)
"Do not put out the Spirits fire;do not treat prophecies with contempt.Test everything. Hold on to the good.Avoid every kind of evil."
Personally I support joyce meyers ministry because I believe that she preachs the FULL gospel. And is very transparent and humble. As far as this money thing I am just hearing about this so I dont know...I recommend you pray for her regardless and the ministry that God has given her.

We tend to call people hypocrites (especially our spiritual leaders) when they fall short in certain areas. The truth of the matter is that most actually believe what they are saying, but werent strong enough to stand in it.
For example: An adult who tells young kids NOT TO SMOKE, but he himself smokes 2 packs a day unknowingly to the youth. Does not make him a hypocrite, just an individual who does not walk in the truth he knows.
