the world feels that on december.22,2012 the world will end or some kind of catastraphe will happen..due to the accuracy of the mayan calender and how it ended on that date...So personally I don;t believe any of that because I will not believe the report of the mayans or the world i will believe the report from the lord God almighty. What are your views on it??

lol...me eithier...I find it weird that many people including athesit believe that to be the last day but deny the existence of the almighty saviour and God the father...weird how many people like to have thier ears tickled by the enemy.

yeah ikr! what makes the mayans so trustworthy for them? x-x

No one knows not even Jesus! Only God the father knows! But we were given signs to look for and promised the end would not come until these signs have come and gone! Alot of people get so tied up into revelations and upsest with it, even though its interesting but many get too caught up into it jst like politics! Which I am even guilty of time to time.

yea i get what you mean puthisbloodonit
do you know the scripture that comes from??? plus I know its not 2012 because God has promised things to his children personally like healing and leading them to preach..And if these promises havent taken place, neithier can they die or the end of the world happen..

lol heres the way i see it. The Mayans got tired one day of doin this calendar and was like.. you know what. this is good enough. if the future generations wants more, they can make thier own calendar! lolol.

its completely impossible for it to happen :)
ive been reading up on Revelation a lot lately, and im also reading the Left Behind series (i completely suggest it to everyone).
Anyway, theres a series of events that leads up to the end. basically, theres several natural disasters, a few crazy rulers here and there, but theres a few biggies that we havent seen.
There has to be someone who basically comes from nowhere and becomes a "world ruler" (aka, the Antichrist). about four years go by, then he/she signs some sort of treaty with Israel. then comes the Rapture of Gods true followers (every true Christian is taken from earth to be with God). the people who are left behind have to face a seven year tribulation, which is basically seven years of heck on earth. the antichrist is basically the devil, and the world is split into to two sides. after the seven years comes the defeat of satan and the Glorious Appearing, where Christ comes to earth, and its transformed into Heaven.
so, do the math, its 2010. in four years, its 2014. no such thing as 2012 :) those crazy Mayans :P

The movie was pretty cool. :P Really long tho.

lol...I found it funny how they depicted christians in the movie 2012 as running into the street protesting and screaming and praying...I believe they had some biblical messages in the movie...I was shoked the built an ark at the end of the movie...I found it to be weird. As if they were just jumbling things together..I dont think the movie 2012 was that hot for the simple reason I could anticipate most of the time what was going to happen next. BUT I feel the best movie of this year was:
1)Legion...I felt this movie was long but i was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
2)The Book of Eli...I felt the same way about this movie as I did for Legion..lol
3)Avatar...I probably have this on number three because I had bought the movie on bootleg...LML.LML...So my opinion of this movie might be slightly biased.
What do you think???

Not the most reliable source, but from Yahoo Answers:
"You do know that there is no "2012 Mayan Doomsday," right?
Their calendar just ends. They ran out of space on the rock. Were they still around, theyd carve a new one. Its no big deal. Besides, how good could they be at predicting the future -- they didnt predict their own demise?
Please join the rest of us in the 21st century, ok?
Peace."
Derrick - 5/12/10 @ 4:13 PM
AMEN this is soo true...They couldnt even predict there extinction yet we are suppose to believe their calender is soo accurate...RIGHHHHT! LML

i dont think it is. everyone is expecting it to happen, and therefore it wont. the bible says that the Son of God will come like a theif in the night, when everyone is least expecting it. it could even happen BEFORE 2012. no one knows! like the _underdog, i think they were just too lazy to finish it haha. or maybe something came up and they put it down for a sec and just forgot to come back and finish it?!
