Their are a lot of people that ask me why should I get saved and give up their fun filled life. I'm actually finding it harder and harder to answer them. It seems like the devil is taking over everything making Christianity seem dull and boreing.(not to say the sinfull life is fun)
I actually feel like crawling in a box sometime to keep myself clean from all the evil crud that the devil has done with entertainment. Movies,games,music,even outside entertainment is getting more and more corrupt. Adults as well as kids are getting smacked with this daily...What are we sappose to do about this? I have ideas but I need your input

I live in Twin Falls Id. were it's said the only thing you can do around here is get drunk,get fat or get a tatoo. I use to watch T.V and movies but I'm finding myself more and more convicted doing it.Most the movies dialouges now days can't be done with out the use of profanity to end every sentence and I'm haveing a real hard time finding ones that don't use the Lords name in vain. Even the cartoons I watch with my kids have sexual adult messages that are stuck in there and you hope your kids don't catch it. These are rated G ?
I use to play video games and stared getting convicted about that. If the games aren't flat out voilent they lead the kid on until something Idolistic or occult related pops up in the game. I mean what is this world coming to? I actualy seached the net and found one game that was considered Christian and that was a game called Adems Quest.

Hi, I find it hard too! I make elfs out of clay, but it is not christian to do that. But I love it! So I asked God: give my other things that I like, and He gave me photography, and i came closer to Him.

I have to agree with Alpha, it is fun following and serving the Lord. But you could pick up geocaching, it's fun for all ages gets you out of the house to explore :)

i agree there are so many things going on in this day that totally against what God wants for us, but if you look in the Bible you will see that Paul, Peter, James, and others who wrote the New Testament felt the same way. There has been wickedness and sin throughout all the ages. it's important to live for God and not compromise with what we believe in and know to be true and pure. God will give the strength to follow Him and be a shining light if we are wholly committed to Him. And He gives us joy and happiness that lasts! Things in the world give temporary enjoyment and then people look for something more, bigger, or better. But Jesus never runs out of joy and goodness to fill our hearts! Nehemiah 8:10
